Ms. Melodie was the ex-wife of rapper KRS-ONE and was a member of Boogie Down
Productions.

Here’s hoping Kim fans learn to show her the respect a Hip Hop legend like herself deserves.
For, while she is yet to spawn a new album, she has delivered on every creative promise made to her base- be it 2010′s ‘Black Friday’ and the aforementioned ‘Return Of The Queen Tour‘. A tour, which saw grace numerous venues with a stage show we’d say was her best yet.
In short, though she may not be working to a pace they’re content with, Team Kim may have to accept that her career goals may have changed since her days atop the Rap throne.
After all, with a Grammy, Five Mics and a generation of Femcees inspired by her all under her belt, perhaps Kim is finally ready to settle down and start a family with ‘Mr Papers‘ – who seems to be enamored with her.
Whatever she chooses to do, we hope her loyal fans are there to support her when she does it.

DMX Hospitalized After Car Accident.
Rapper DMX can’t seem to get things right. X was reportedly having a great time Saturday morning when he lost control of the four-wheeler he was riding and ended up in the hospital with a concussion.
X tells TMZ he was riding outside his home in South Carolina when he crashed while riding down a hill. The rapper says he doesn’t remember much, other than the lights from the ambulance, and he doesn’t know when he will be released.
X was also hospitalized for food poisoning back in January.

It was a fabulous evening for a cause as Ne-Yo's 1st Foundation benefit was in full swing in The Hamptons.
Celebs came out to East Hampton, NY to celebrate Ne-Yo's 1st Annual Compound Foundation "Fostering A Legacy" Benefit.
The charity event took place at the private estate of Bill and Michele Nuti, CEO of NCR and Chairman of Sprint. As for the celeb guest list: Arsenio Hall, Russell Simmons, George Lucas, Paula Abdul, Andre Agassi, Anthony Anderson, Michael Strahan, Jason Kidd, Adrienne Bailon and Rocsi Diaz.
Since the event was co-sponsored by Porsche, attendees snapped a few pics with the whips on display. Rocsi and actress Elise Neal were on hand for the benefit.
Ne-Yo brought his fiance Monyetta along...who flashed her engagement ring as usual.
Ne-Yo's newest signee, Adrienne Bailon, was there in a strapless blue gown.
Ne-Yo also had his protege Ravaughn (standing next to Adrienne) on hand. And DJ D Nice was on the 1's and 2's.

Aubrey Davis, a DJ in Florida also known as DJ Mixx, is accusing Usher of jacking one of his songs without permission, according to a lawsuit.
Davis’ suit claims he created a musical composition titled “Let’s Go” back in 2008. He claims one of the people he showed the song to passed it on to Usher somehow and the track ended up on Usher’s album “Raymond v. Raymond” as the song “Hey Daddy.” Mixx claims it was then copyrighted by the singer and his crew as their own work.
