Madonna is once again paying homage to the legendary Marilyn Monroe.
In years past, the pop star has channeled the Hollywood icon in various ways, including recreating Marilyn's famous "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" number from the 1953 film Gentleman Prefer Blondes for her "Material Girl" music video in the '80s. Additionally, Madonna attended the 1991 Oscars with Michael Jackson wearing an ultra-glamorous look that was inspired by the late actress.
Fast forward to 2021, and Madonna is portraying the Some Like It Hot star for V Magazine's winter issue as its new cover star. For the publication, the "Like a Prayer" singer posed nearly nude to emulate Marilyn's last photoshoot before her untimely death in 1962 at the age of 36.
The cover photo captured Madonna laying in a ruffled bed with fishnet pantyhose, white satin gloves and a diamond cross necklace. Other portraits showed the musician wearing a lush fur robe and off-white latex corset. As for her hair? It was curled to perfection similar to Marilyn's signature style.
Photographer Steven Klein explained the vision behind the photoshoot.
"This photo essay was inspired by a shoot that Marilyn Monroe did with photographer Bert Stern titled "The Last Sitting," he told the magazine. "They shot at the Bel Air hotel in 1962, before she passed away. What was supposed to be a three-hour sitting, turned into a three-day whirlwind, working night and day. Drinking, laughing, shooting photos, editing, sleeping, and then taking more photos–a private affair between two artists which rarely happens anymore."
He continued, "We were not interested in recreating the images exactly but more importantly, we wanted to explore the relationship between photographer and subject. Both the friendship and the artistic process, and how art can imitate life and vice versa."
According to Steven, when he showed Madonna Bert's photos, "She was really taken by the incandescent fragility of Marilyn at that moment in her life."
"We decided to find a hotel suite and try to capture the liaison between a star and the camera, the mystery, and magic of this creative collaboration," he added. "We hope we have done justice to the great work of Bert Stern and Marilyn Monroe."
Marilyn isn't the only person to inspire Madonna these days. The "Vogue" artist told the magazine that she's been moved by Ye—formerly known as Kanye West.
"I mean, the only thing that I've heard recently that has inspired me is Kanye's record Donda. There are very few artists that are working toward failure," she shared. "And I feel like he is. I can't say that I agree with all of his politics and the way that he thinks of women, or unmarried people having sex, or the gay community. But his work is on the razor's edge, and it's inspiring and it's rare."
She added, "Everybody was waiting so long for his record to come out and then finally when it came out, everybody else's record came out, too. And he still stood out."

Claudia Jordan admits she felt “triggered” when NeNe Leakes appeared to shade her during a recent interview about her late husband Gregg Leakes.
Gregg passed away last month at age 66 following a battle with colon cancer. Speaking to Atlanta radio station V-103 on Wednesday, Leakes called out her former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, specifically Cynthia Bailey for not attending her husband’s homegoing service.
“[Cynthia] didn’t even come to the repast. She did come like a week later after everything was done,” NeNe said, as reported by The Neighborhood Talk.
“She came by my lounge,” she added. “It’s really hard to explain ‘Housewives.’ It’s almost like a dysfunctional family.”
NeNe also noted that she has kept in touch with nemesis Kim Zolciak-Biermann since Gregg’s funeral, but she blasted her fellow ‘Housewives’ for the cheap condolence gift they sent her.
“Actually I was surprised because the first set of flowers I got was a bouquet from like all the Housewives, like they went in together,” NeNe shared. “I’m like, ‘Why do y’all need to go in together and buy some damn flowers? If all y’all work … you can spend your own $200.’
“That’s the way I’ve always been,” she added.
Jordan caught wind of her remarks and issued a fiery response on Fox Soul, calling NeNe’s comments “tacky”. She also wants the former reality TV star to know that she is “lucky” any of the women she had feuded with over the years even bothered showing up to Gregg’s celebration of life event.

Meanwhile, Bailey previously told Page Six that she missed Gregg’s funeral because she was out of town — but not being there gave her more intimate time with NeNe once they finally got together.
“I decided that once I got back to Atlanta, I really wanted to, you know, just try to see her,” she said. “I wanted to give my condolences and just give in my respect out of respect for Gregg in person.”
Bailey said she felt “so bad” about missing Gregg’s funeral, but was “glad” she didn’t make it so she could spend quality time with NeNe.
“I’m really glad, honestly looking back, that I didn’t make it to the actual celebration [of life] because I think if I had, I never would have had the moment that I got to have with her just hanging out with her at her lounge and pretty much closing the place down,” Bailey told the outlet. “We really got to spend some one-on-one time together. And I know that wouldn’t have happened had I been there with everyone else,” she added.
Early last month, friends and family of Gregg gathered at NeNe’s lounge to memorialize the late star. The event at The Linnethia featured powerful musical performances by Keke Wyatt and gospel stars Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell, and Le’Andria Johnson, theGrio previously reported.
Former Real Housewives stars Lisa Wu, Phaedra Parks, Marlo Hampton, Porsha Williams, and Eva Marcille came out to support the Leakes family, according to a report from CBS 8.
Gregg was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2018. He had reportedly been in remission for two years before his cancer returned earlier this year.

READY OR NOT The Fugees Delay Reunion Tour To 2022!
The Fugees are not quite ready to hit the road.The legendary hip-hop group consisting of Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel has delayed its reunion tour to 2022. In a post on their official Instagram account, the trio announced plans to add more dates when the trek kicks off early next year.
“Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible,” the group said in a statement. “With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates! Full details coming soon along with some SPECIAL announcements!”
The international tour was slated to commence Nov. 2 in Chicago and stop in cities including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Paris, and London before heading to Africa, with the final shows in Nigeria and Ghana in December. The Chicago show has been moved to March 2, while the L.A. concert will now take place on March 27. New dates are available on Ticketmaster.
This marks the Fugees’ first world tour in 25 years and first shows in 15 years to celebrate the anniversary of their 1996 album The Score. In September, they reunited to perform a pop-up show for Global Citizen Live in New York City.
“I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world,” said Ms. Hill, while Wyclef added, “I am grateful once again, that God has brought us together.”
Will Smith reveals he once considered suicide in trailer for new YouTube docuseries!
Will Smith opened up about his mental health, revealing in a trailer for his upcoming YouTube docuseries that he once contemplated suicide.
The "Aladdin" actor, 53, has been on a challenging fitness journey to lose 20 pounds in 20 weeks. Smith said the quest not only pushed him to get back into shape, but it also helped him discover "a whole lot of hidden things about myself."
"This began as a journey to get into the best shape of my life. When I started this show I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life, physically. But mentally, I was somewhere else," he said in a trailer released Friday for "Will Smith: The Best Shape Of My Life."
"Now I'm about to show the world, how little I know about myself. ... What you've come to understand as Will Smith, the alien annihilating MC, bigger than life movie star, is largely a construction, a carefully crafted and honed character designed to protect myself, to hide myself from the world, to hide the coward."
In the trailer, Smith is seen working out and training. One clip shows him sitting at a table surrounded by his family.
"That was the only time in my life that I ever considered suicide," he said. The actor did not provide context after making the statement.
In the preview, Smith also talked about writing his upcoming memoir "Will." He said the book was "exposing a lot of things" about his life including "so many things that people don't know about me."
The book is available for pre-order and will be released on Nov. 9. The docuseries debuts on YouTube Nov. 8.

R. Kelly hires Bill Cosby’s lawyer to help overturn sex trafficking conviction!
R. Kelly has hired Bill Cosby’s high-profile attorney to help appeal his racketeering conviction in New York.
According to the Chicago Tribune, on Friday (Oct. 29), Jennifer Bonjean, a New York-based lawyer, filed her appearance in the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer’s case in the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn — where the musician was convicted on sex abuse and racketeering charges last month. Bonjean told the outlet that she plans to lead Kelly’s appeal and post-conviction motions, which are due on Monday (Nov. 1). However, she has requested a two-month extension.
Bonjean spearheaded Cosby’s appeal of his sex crimes conviction in Pennsylvania and helped get the actor released from prison.
The attorney told the Chicago Tribune that she is “looking forward to getting familiar with the record” in the Chicago native’s case, which was driven by Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) charges.
“I am becoming increasingly concerned with how the government is abusing the RICO statute in order to plead around the statute of limitations and essentially put people’s entire lives on trial,” Bonjean said. “It’s becoming a formula for the government. You have a right to defend yourself against specific allegations.”
As previously reported, last month, Kelly was convicted of one count of racketeering, with 14 underlying acts that included sexual exploitation of a child, bribery, kidnapping and sex trafficking charges. He was also convicted of eight counts of violations of the Mann Act, a sex trafficking law that makes it illegal to move anyone across state lines “for any immoral purpose.” Kelly’s sentencing is set for May 4, 2022, where he potentially faces 10 years to life in prison.
However, Kelly’s legal woes are far from over. Last week, a Chicago judge set the date for the child pornography trial that he is facing in his home state. The 12 Play vocalist is being accused of recording his sexual encounters with multiple underage girls and bribing possible witnesses with cash and gifts to remain silent about his crimes. He is set to stand trial for those federal sex charges next August.

Zayn Malik was reportedly dropped from his record label amid his breakup from Gigi Hadid and the alleged harassment towards her mother, Yolanda.
Music label RCA dropped the ex-One Direction member and claims their reasoning was due to his excessive use of marijuana and they fear he might have been smoking a stronger strain. In a report by Radar Online, a source close to Malik said he is allegedly struggling with his inner demons and has been depending on drugs to deal with his anxiety and fame.
“Zayn has had personal demons for some time. Substance abuse — specifically marijuana and cocaine — and booze. At the same time, he suffers from anxiety and struggled with fame. When all these are mixed together, it is a recipe for disaster. He is known to have acted out, constantly – and is erratic. A lot of people have tried desperately to get Zayn’s life and career back on track, but nothing has worked.”
However, RCA reportedly wanted to make the decision for a while before the situation involved Yolanda Hadid. Currently, he was charged with four charges of harassment and fined plus ordered 90 days probation. He is also required to complete a domestic violence program and an anger management course.
Ice Cube Reportedly Walks Away from $9 Million Movie Project Due to Its Vaccine Mandate!
Ice Cube’s latest project “Oh Hell No” will have to go on without him after the rapper-turned-actor gave a similar response when asked to take COVID-19 shot as part of the film’s vaccine mandate.
Unidentified sources close to the situation told The Hollywood Reporter that Cube refused to fulfill the request of producers to get vaccinated, subsequently walking away from a reported $ 9 million payout.
The “Friday” franchise creator, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson, was set to star alongside comedian Jack Black who is still set to be involved with the film, though he is currently out due to an injury from a prior project. Production was scheduled to start in December but now may have to push back as the studio scrambles to find a replacement for Cube.
Reactions to rapper’s reported anti-vax position fell mostly into two camps. One framing anti-vaxxers as pro choice and the opposite side pointing out that vaccines protect not only the individual but those around him.
“No room in the industry for voices that would let harm come to the general public,” wrote one critic on twitter. “With the amount of followers he has, remaining unvaccinated sends a clear message to those who look up to him.”
“I don’t see the problem with him not wanting to get vaccinated….that’s his choice, as long as u aren’t out here parading around without a mask on I could care less,” fired back another person. “He isnt speaking out against vaccines by not getting it.”
The former NWA member has however advocated for other forms of protection from the deadly virus in the past. Last August he donated 2,000 face masks to Bacone College in Oklahoma, the entertainment outlet reported.
During the earlier portion of the COVID-lockdowns, the “You Can Do It” emcee released a series of “Check Yo Self Before You Wreck Yo Self” branded T-shirts, featuring himself in a mask. The project was in partnership with the manufacturer Black Out. The proceeds were reportedly donated to frontline health workers.
This is the second project the 52-year-old has walked away from since the start of the pandemic. Cube was set to star in the boxing movie “Flint Strong,” but outlets say he’s no longer involved. Reasoning behind his exit has not yet been revealed.
Actor/Rapper Fetty Wap Arrested By FBI For Alleged Role In Bicoastal Opioid Drug Ring!
Actor/rapper Fetty Wap is in jail and faces federal charges of being a part of a bicoastal opioid drug ring based in Long Island, New York, law enforcement said.
Fetty Wap, real name William Junior Maxwell, was arrested late Thursday at New York’s Citi Field on a two-count federal indictment, according to reports. The 30-year-old “Trap Queen” recording artist was going to be a part of the three-day Rolling Loud music festival at the New York Mets’ home stadium, but never made it to the stage.
Fetty Wap appeared Friday in federal court in Central Islip and was detained after his attorney didn’t request bail. He is due back in court on Nov. 24.
He has appeared on the TV show Empire and in the 2018 film Blood Brother.
Reports indicate federal authorities say Fetty Wap was allegedly a “kilogram-level” dealer in the operation.
“The fact that we arrested a chart-topping rap artist and a corrections officer as part of the conspiracy illustrates just how vile the drug trade has become,” said FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge Michael Driscoll in a New York Post report.
Fetty Wap and five others were allegedly trafficking more than 100 kilos of opioids, including fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and crack. The drugs were allegedly taken from the West coast and sold in the East, where the ring was based out of Suffolk County on Long Island.
Search warrants in various locations tied to the ring yielded confiscations of roughly $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, numerous fentanyl pills, two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol and ammunition.
RHOBH Star Dorit Kemsley Says She's 'Feeling Blessed' for Her Family's Safety After Home Invasion!
Dorit Kemsley is counting her blessings after being the victim of a home invasion on Wednesday night.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 45, publicly addressed the incident for the first time on Saturday in a statement posted to Instagram.
"As you all know by now I have been through a terrifying ordeal, one that no parent or person should ever have to experience," she wrote. "I've received so many messages of love and support and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It's truly overwhelming."
She added, "My kids are unaware of what happened, they slept through it and I thank God for keeping my kids and myself from being physically harmed."
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE on Thursday that there was an invasion and robbery in Encino Hills, Calif., at 10:50 p.m. involving three male intruders. According to the Daily Mail, the invasion took place at Kemsley's home, where she and her two children, son Jagger, 7, and daughter Phoenix, 5, were sleeping.
Her husband Paul "PK" Kemsley was in London at the time, but he has since headed home to his wife and kids, per the outlet, which was first to report the news. Kemsley had just returned from London herself on Tuesday.
Authorities said there were no injuries and an "unknown amount of property" was taken from the residence during the incident.
In a press release issued Thursday afternoon, LAPD said that "the victim was in the residence at the time and was met by the suspects. The victim was in fear and complied with the suspects demands by directing them to valuables. The suspects took handbags, jewelry, and watches with a significant monetary loss and fled the location in a black truck."
No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, though police said in the press release that the three suspects were described as between 20 and 30 years old wearing black hoodies and dark pants.
According to the Daily Mail, Kemsley was scheduled to begin production on the next season of RHOBH on Thursday, though her filming status is now unknown. A spokesperson for Bravo declined to comment.
However, the reality star expressed her desire to "return to normality" in her social media message on Saturday following the scare.
"My family now needs to start the healing process," she wrote. "I have thrown myself into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible."
Kemsley continued, "With the love and support of my husband, my incredible family, friends, fans and followers, I am confident this is the right thing to do whilst I independently work with through the trauma. I'm so grateful to the LAPD for their care and attention. Thank you again for all your support."
She also added in the caption of her post, "More than anything, I'm feeling blessed that my kids and family are safe. Truly grateful for the messages of love and support from you all who have reached out."
Lizzo Dresses as Baby Yoda for Surprise Performance at Halloween Party: 'Grogu Takes Hollywood'!
Lizzo brought the Force for Halloween weekend. The three-time Grammy Award winner, 33, dressed as the beloved Mandalorian character Grogu (a.k.a. Baby Yoda) on Friday for Spotify's Ghost Town Halloween Party in West Hollywood, where she graced the audience with a surprise performance of her breakout hit "Truth Hurts."
She later posted a TikTok of herself getting into makeup for the costume, before posting the final product to Instagram. "CEO OF 🥺 FOR HALLOWEEN… GROGU LOVE MACAROONIS BUT CRAZY LAST NIGHT GOT," Lizzo captioned the photos.
Lizzo also greeted fans on the streets of Los Angeles while in costume, as well as posting some photos of her interpretation of Grogu acting wild during a night on the town.
"A representative from Grogu's publicity team has issued a statement regarding the paparazzi photos taken last night: 'Grogu aka Baby Yoda aka The Child has no recollection of these events. In fact, these events never happened *jedi hand wave,*'" she wrote in the cheeky caption.
"Grogu takes Hollywood," Lizzo wrote in another post on Instagram.
The Spotify party was hosted by Obsessed podcast hosts Benito Skinner and Mary Beth Barone, who nailed their couple's costume as a gender-flipped Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
"It was such an epic night," Skinner and Barone said in a statement to PEOPLE. "We have always been Obsessed with Halloween, but being able to throw this party with Spotify was a damn honor. All our guests were amazing, but when Lizzo surprised the party at the end we were gobsmacked."
Also in attendance were Troye Sivan and Joshua Bassett, as well as Ted Lasso stars Brett Goldstein and Phil Dunster. We're Here star Bob the Drag Queen spun some tracks, as partygoers enjoyed a corn maze, a mechanical bull and a fortune teller.
Lizzo's surprise performance came after she announced a "new era" in her music career, dropping her single "Rumors" in August, a collaboration with Cardi B. The track marked Lizzo's first single in two years.

Isaiah Washington is accusing his “Grey’s Anatomy costar Ellen Pompeo of accepting “$5 million under the table” to keep quiet and “not tell the world how toxic and nasty Patrick Dempsey really was” while working with him on the show.
During his recent October 21 interview on Tavis Smiley’s radio show, Washington says that Dempsey “was not a nice guy from day one.”
He also called him “a total tyrant” who was known for being “pilot poison,” meaning an actor who represents a liability to getting a show picked up for a series, the insider reported.
According to Washington, Pompeo took “hush money” from unnamed parties amid the time that the #MeToo movement was first garnering attention and before she signed a $20 million contract to continue “Grey’s Anatomy,” which made her become the highest-paid woman on television.
“And you want to run around here like you are the keeper of all feminine women and the feminist movement,” Washington said, referring to Pompeo.
The actor then claimed he never felt support while on the medical drama set because he “was never wanted there.”
“Every single day, I was a problem that was being reminded, ‘You’re No. 4 on the call sheet,'” he said. Before he left, he felt his behavior was being broadcasted to protect Dempsey’s image.
Netflix releases trailer of 'Tiger King 2'!
The saga of "Tiger King" continues. On Wednesday, Netflix released the trailer for "Tiger King 2."
The sequel will debut on the streaming service on Nov. 17.
The follow-up to the summer blockbuster "Tiger King" will include characters from the first season like Tim Stark, Jeff Lowe, Allen Glover, and James Garretson.
“If I have to make a deal with the devil, I will make a deal with the devil,” Joe Exotic says in the 2-minute trailer.
There were also brief glimpses of Exotic from prison. He is currently serving time for hiring someone to kill Carole Baskin, along with other charges.
While Baskin was shown in the trailer, according to Yahoo!, she had stated in the past that she would not be participating in the second go-around.
Meek Mill Accuses Flight Attendant Of Racism After He Asked If The Rapper Was Smoking On The Plane!
It seems the skies aren’t that friendly for Meek Mill. Meek Mill is sharing an incident that occurred while he was traveling on a private jet. In a video posted to his Instagram story, the Philly rapper reveals he left the flight after a crew member accused him and his friends of smoking weed.
In the video, Meek Mill says, “So you just asked if we we’re smoking on the plane? We just came on here 30 seconds ago and you just asked if were smoking on the plane and we just stepped on here 30 seconds ago.
To which the Flight Attendant replied, “Because I smell it.”
Meek Mill then said, “But where we gonna smoke it if we just stepped on here 30 seconds ago? Where the h*** would a blunt be rolled.”
The man apologized and offered to ‘fix the problem’ but Meek Mill no longer felt safe and decided to exit the plane. Citing racism as the issue, Meek captioned the video saying,

RuPaul to Star in 'The B— Who Stole Christmas' as VH1 Announces First Original Holiday Movie Lineup!
RuPaul its getting into the Christmas spirit over at VH1. via People: The 11-time Emmy Award winner, 60, will star in The B— Who Stole Christmas, which VH1 calls “the draggiest Christmas movie ever made,” premiering Dec. 2 as part of the network’s inaugural “Naughty or Nice” lineup.
“A workaholic big-city fashion journalist is sent to a Christmas-obsessed small town to dig up a story when she finds herself in the middle of cut-throat housewives, a high-stakes ‘Winter Ball’ competition, and a sinister plot that could destroy Christmas fore-evah!” a plot summary from VH1 reads.
Produced by World of Wonder’s Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey (RuPaul’s Drag Race), the film’s cast is stacked with appearances from Kim Petras, Charo, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews, as well as RPDRalums Ginger Minj, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Peppermint, Latrice Royale, Gottmik, Laganja Estranja, Manila Luzon, Pandora Boxx and more.
Kicking off Nov. 29 on VH1, the lineup also features titles from executive producers Eva Longoria, Jamie Foxx, Nick Cannon and Kim Fields.
“With our ‘Naughty or Nice’ film slate, VH1 is reimagining the holidays with modern, fresh takes,” said MTV Entertainment Group CCO/President of Content Nina L. Diaz in a statement. “Working together with Eva, Jamie, Kim, Nick as well as our long-standing partners Randy and Fenton has truly been a gift that keeps on giving.”
Fields, 52, produces and stars in Adventures in Christmasing, airing Nov. 29. “Parker Baldwin, a highly successful and meticulous talk show host who plans everything to a T, finds her Christmas plans upended when her network persuades her to spend three days in the wild with superstar adventurer & television survivalist Finn Holt for a holiday television event. The two butt heads until they find themselves stranded together in the wild with no food, unreliable shelter and no form of communication. Unexpectedly impacting each other, they come to realize life is the greatest adventure,” the plot summary reads. Fields stars with Kel Mitchell, Eva Marcille and more.
Foxx, 53, is behind Hip Hop Family Christmas, debuting Dec. 6. “Hip-Hop’s most famous family agrees to participate in a live Christmas television special to address negative press and soften their image,” according to the plot description. Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Lil Mama, Redman and more star.
Longoria, 46, produces Let’s Get Married, premiering Dec. 13. “A bachelorette weekend at a Christmas-themed adventure park gets all kinds of holly jolly when a hard-partying, down-on-her-luck, holiday-hater decides to get married. That day. To a man she has yet to meet. But first… drinks!” the plot reads. The movie stars Xosha Roquemore, Tahj Mowry and more.
Cannon, 41, produces and stars in Miracles Across 125th Street, which premieres Dec. 20. “After battling drug addiction, a Harlem rapper returns to his family’s church to confront his past on Christmas Eve,” the plot summary reads. He stars alongside Teyana Taylor, Lil Kim, Akon, Todrick Hall and more.
VH1’s debut “Naughty or Nice” lineup kicks off Nov. 29 with new movies airing every Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT until Christmas. The B— Who Stole Christmas premieres Thursday, Dec. 2.
