Adele has revealed the reason behind her recent weight loss in a recent interview with Vogue.
The global star appeared on the cover of both the UK and US edition of the magazine after confirming her comeback with new single ‘Easy On Me’.
It is the first collaboration of its kind in Vogue’s 129-year history, with each edition of the magazine featuring a different fashion shoot and interview.
The 33-year-old revealed the reason behind her recent weight loss was anxiety after making headlines for her weight loss, sharing pictures on social media of her slimmer figure while living in the US.

Speaking about her weight loss to Vogue, she said: “It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better.
“It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone.
“I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.”
She said she lost the weight without going on a diet or fasting intermittently.
“If anything I eat more than I used to because I work out so hard,” she said.
Adele speaks about her upcoming album
In the interview with the magazine she also revealed that a lot of her upcoming album has been recorded for her eight-year-old son Angelo.
“I just felt like I wanted to explain to him, though this record, when he’s in his 20s or 30s, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness,” she said.
“It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.”
Adele is dating American sports agent Rich Paul, founder of management company Klutch Sports Group, which represents high-profile basketball stars including LeBron James, Anthony Davis and John Wall.
She told Vogue she did “date before Rich, but they hated it”.
“They’d find it stressful being out or seen with me. Whereas he’s not frazzled by it at all,” she said.
“It feels like it’s consistent and considerate enough that I don’t care who knows.
“He’s great. He’s so f****** funny. He’s so smart, you know.”
Adele opens up on her divorce
Adele, who headlined Glastonbury festival in 2016, announced her split from charity boss Simon Konecki in April 2019.
Their divorce was finalised in March this year, and they share custody of Angelo.
Discussing the end of her marriage, she said: “It just wasn’t right for me any more. I didn’t want to end up like a lot of other people I knew.
“It wasn’t miserable miserable, but I would have been miserable had I not put myself first.
“But, yeah, nothing bad happened or anything like that.”
She added there were people “everywhere trying to get stories and I just hated it”.
“I was embarrassed. I was really embarrassed. That thing of not being able to make something work,” she said.
“We’ve been trained as women to keep trying, even by the movies we watched when we were little.
“At the time it broke my heart, but I actually find it so interesting now. How we’re told to suck it up.”
Adele said the media timeline of her relationship is “actually completely wrong”.
“We got married when I was 30… and then I left,” she said.
“I always called him my husband, because we had a kid together,” she said.
Adele also discussed her post break-up partying in Los Angeles.
“I thought I was being carefree, but I think there was an element of being careless,” she said.
“Then again, I have security guards coming out my ass, so nothing ever got out.
“I was falling out the back door of the bar rather than falling out the front.”
Southwest Airlines Cancels 1,000 More Flights As Disruptions Mount!
Southwest Airlines canceled more than 1,000 flights, 27 percent of its schedule, on Sunday as disruptions that the airline blamed on air traffic control issues and bad weather affected the travel plans of thousands of customers.
“We experienced significant impact in the Florida airports [Friday] evening after an FAA-imposed air traffic management program was implemented due to weather and resulted in a large number of cancellations,” Alan Kasher, who oversees daily flight operations, told staff in a note on Saturday.
The Federal Aviation Administration, which oversees air traffic, didn’t immediately comment. Southwest apologized to travelers for long customer service waits.
Southwest said in a statement on Saturday it hoped “to return to close to normal operations as we move into Sunday.”
“We are working hard behind the scenes to minimize challenges and fully recover the operation as we take care of displaced Crews and Customers as quickly as possible,” the company said.
The Dallas-based airline canceled 808 flights on Saturday, according to flight-tracking site FlightAware. American Airlines, which operates a large hub in Miami, in comparison, canceled 63 mainline flights, or two percent of its operation and Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Spirit Airlines canceled 32 flights, four percent of its schedule.
Staffing shortages fueled hundreds of cancellations at Southwest over the summer. The airline trimmed its schedule after the summer to avoid further disruptions. Other airlines faced a shortage of workers after encouraging thousands to take leave or buyouts at the height of the pandemic, only for travel demand to return faster than expected this summer.
Southwest did not immediately comment on whether staffing shortfalls contributed to the cancellations this weekend.
The airline has struggled to hire new employees. Incoming CEO Bob Jordan told CNBC last month that the carrier is prepared to cut flights over spring break season if it doesn’t have enough staff to support the operation.

The disparity between Southwest’s operation and other airlines fueled speculation on social media that employees were calling out sick.
The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association, Southwest pilots’ labor union said that “we can say with confidence that our Pilots are not participating in any official or unofficial job actions.”
“Our Pilots will continue to overcome SWA management’s poor planning, as well as any external operational challenges, and remain the most productive Pilots in the world,” it said.
Earlier on Saturday, the union noted that the company’s recent announcement that it will comply with the Biden administration’s requirement that federal contractors must mandate staff Covid vaccinations is contributing to distractions for aviators.
“Make no mistake about it — due to months of staffing issues and inefficient scheduling practices we have been operating at a higher than normal operational risk,” the union’s safety committee told members in a post on Saturday.
It said reports of fatigue, which require pilots not to fly, are triple historic norms.
“All of these challenges have led to an added distraction in the cockpit,” it said. “This week’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate announcement by the Company only exacerbates the situation.”

According to reports, on Thursday, Oct. 7th, 2021, Tyress Williams, 22, was sentenced to nine years in prison after he was found guilty for a string of robberies that included the homes of Rihanna, singer and actress Christina Milian, and athletes Yaisel Puig and Robert Woods.
Tyress, who was 19 at the time, was one of four, who allegedly targeted actors, musicians, and Hollywood executives. The group, which consisted of Jshawne Daniels, Damaji Hall, and Hall’s mother Ashle, reportedly studied their target’s tour schedules and social media, in order to break into their homes when presumed empty. A search warrant of their home uncovered more than $50,000 in cash, plus watches, jewelry and designer purses.

The embattled singer’s album sales have increased 517 percent since a New York jury convicted him on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. According to Rolling Stone, Kelly’s music saw double-digit growth in streams and a triple-digit growth in sales.
In the week following his guilty verdict on Sept. 27, his on-demand audio streams were up 22 percent, while video streams were up 23 percent compared to the previous seven days. Overall, his streams soared from 11.2 million to 13.4 million.

Diana Taurasi has a lot to celebrate. The Phoenix Mercury player, 39, welcomed a baby girl with wife Penny Taylor in the wee hours of Saturday morning, shortly after triumphing over the Las Vegas Aces in Friday's deciding Game 5 of their semifinal series. She scored 24 points in the 87-84 win.
"Hold it in, babe," Taurasi told Taylor, 40, at the end of her postgame interview with ESPN, before catching a private flight home to Phoenix and a ride to the hospital in time to help her wife deliver their second child.
Their team celebrated the birth on Saturday. "At 4:24 am baby GOAT #2 arrived," the Phoenix Mercury wrote on Twitter. "Congratulations to Dee and Penny on the birth of their beautiful, healthy baby girl. #FamilyOf4TheValley"
Taurasi and Taylor tied the knot in May 2017 after meeting as teammates on their first day with the Mercury in 2004, for which Taylor now serves as director of player development and performance. They welcomed their first child, a son named Leo Michael, 3½, in March 2018.
The couple announced their second pregnancy in July, before giving PEOPLE a glimpse at their baby's nursery, which they designed with some help from Pottery Barn Kids.
"We are very excited to welcome our baby home to this beautiful space and especially introduce her to her big brother in such a calm, relaxing atmosphere," Taurasi said, as Taylor added: "It feels amazing to know that when she gets here, we'll be ready."

Kanye West To Open Donda Academy Prep School In California!
Kanye West will open a prep school in Southern California, with a heavy focus on basketball. Donda Academy, named after Ye’s late mother, will be a tuition-free private K-12 school located just outside of Los Angeles.
The school has already secured a partnership with Adidas to go along with commitments from some elite basketball prospects. Despite not securing a coach yet Jalen Hooks, Robert Dillingham, and Jakhi Howard are ready to move toward the goal.
“It’s just one of those things you can’t pass up,” Hooks shared with the Indianapolis Star. “It was more of a family decision, too. All of us just felt like it was a chance to reach my full potential and grow and get ready for the college level.”
According to Yahoo Sports, a game is being discussed between Lebron James’ son Bronny and Sierra Canyon for the LA’s Staples Center next year.
The academy’s website says the school will focus on equipping students with an education that “will last in the ever-changing world.”
They plan to find the intersection “between faith and the innovation of the future.”

During an interview with XXL, Lil Nas X said he doesn’t get respect from his peers in the music industry because of his sexuality.
According to him, certain rappers don’t want to work with him because he’s gay but wants them to accept him because he’s here to stay, The Blast reported.
“Honestly, I don’t feel as respected in hip-hop or many music places in general. But these are communities that I am a part of, whether people would like it or not. This is something that I wanted to do because, not that my entire album is rap, but there are rap tracks on my album. I am a rapper. I am a pop star. I am a gay artist. But it’s like, I belong in these places, you know?”
The artist has been very outspoken over the recent years, specifically about his sexuality as a gay man. He came out in 2019, the same year his hit single “Old Town Road” topped the charts.

Geoffrey Paschel, the bad boy of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, has been found guilty of all charges against him. Geoffrey finally had his day in court after months of being put on hold due to the coronavirus. The television personality believed he would be exonerated of all charges, but he was wrong.
Viewers of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days will recall that the TLC star had charges first brought against him in June 2019 for allegedly beating and raping a former girlfriend. The Knoxville native's persona took a hit among the network and fans, especially when he hid his past from his Russian girlfriend, Varya. Fans watched as he tried to hide his true personality throughout his storyline, but his temper would slip through occasionally, showing major red flags. After the season ended, TLC banned him from appearing on the tell-all special, but the damage was already done.
On Thursday, October 7, Geoffrey was found guilty of all charges, including kidnapping and assault. The Tennessee native testified in his own defense, but his words did not move a jury of his peers. 90 Day Fiancé viewers were able to watch the entire court process unfold on Court TV as the domestic dispute incident involving Kristen Wilson was retold.
The incident took place in June 2019. Geoffrey and Kristen started dating in 2017 but ended their relationship the following year. Kristen took the stand to share her ordeal, telling the jury that Geoffrey had ambushed her after a nightly dog walk. Geoffrey's ex-fiancée stated that she pretended to be asleep after the attack. She waited for the right moment to run from her home to a neighbors house for help. Kristen shared that she pleaded and screamed, saying he was just too strong. The prosecution presented photos of Kristen with two black eyes, a bloody lip, and bruised spine. Geoffrey maintained that Kristen's injuries were self-inflicted.
A witness for the state revealed that Kristen showed up at their home scared and severely beaten. That was all the jury needed to hear to be able to deliver a guilty verdict. The judge has revoked Geoffrey's bail. The TLC star was handcuffed and led away to jail to await his sentencing, which was scheduled for December 3, 2021. Geoffrey will remain in prison until then. When the verdict was read, the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star made no sound, only choosing to bow his head in shame while the verdicts were read in full. The judge agreed with the guilty verdict and was happy to sign off on the case.
Missing Texas toddler found alive and safe, survived days in woods alone!
A missing 3-year-old Texas boy was found in the woods miles away from his parents’ house, three days after he disappeared.
Christopher Ramirez had last been seen by his family on Wednesday when he chased a neighbor’s dog into the woods around 2 p.m. while his parents were unpacking their food truck.
The dog returned, but Christopher never did, prompting a major search by local agencies, Texas EquuSearch, and the FBI’s Houston office as well as volunteers.
Christopher was found around 11 a.m. on Saturday “a bit dehydrated as well as hungry and in overall good spirits and healthy,” Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell said in a statement on social media on Saturday evening.
It was not yet clear how exactly the toddler survived on his own.
He was recovering at Texas Children’s Hospital in Woodlands “with his mother by his side.”
The man who found him, who has chosen to remain anonymous, told the sheriff that God had told him at bible study the day before that he would find the boy if he went searching.
“The kind and humble citizen that found Christopher was indeed a special and Guardian Angel that was in the right place at the right time. He is a humble and kind man that did not want his name mentioned,” Sowell said.
“I had several good visits with him and thanked him for being there. He replied that God told him at Bible study yesterday evening to go look for him and he would find him. This morning the man did just that and the rest is a happy ending to this story.”
Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller told KHOU that he had been ready to give up the desperate search for Christopher.
“In my 21 years with EquuSearch, this is only the second time when we had a child like this. Today, this morning, sheriff, honestly, I gave up,” Miller said. “But God works amazing, I got goosebumps. He works amazing. To see him and to hear that loud cry, sheriff, it was just unbelievable.”
