SECRETLY, FOR 10 HOURS in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, this past March, Kim Kardashian West and her Skims team met with fashion designer Kim Jones and his team from the Italian label Fendi for a marathon fitting session. At the time, most Europeans were blocked from entering the U.S. due to pandemic controls, but it was essential that they meet in person. Kardashian West is the fit model for a just-released collaboration between Fendi and Skims, an undergarments and apparel label she launched in 2019.
Cabo offered a convenient location a short flight from Kardashian West’s Southern California hillside estate. “We didn’t even spend the night there,” says Kardashian West, a stickler for efficiency. She flew home to her four children, ages 2 to 8, in time for bed.
The Fendi x Skims collaboration, which launched November 2, is poised to link the legacy Roman fashion label, which was founded in 1925, with millions of members of Generation K, an ever-multiplying group of Kardashian-Jenner-obsessed consumers, many of whom have followed the clan since the reality television show Keeping Up With the Kardashians debuted in 2007. It is a complete ready-to-wear collection, including formfitting tops and dresses starting at $950, $1,100 leggings and a $2,950 puffer jacket, as well as Fendi x Skims–logo-printed underwear, shapewear and hosiery. There is a range of swimsuits, from a barely-there bikini to sporty one-pieces and surf tops, all in a mash-up print of the labels’ logos. A $4,200 leather dress with wraps crisscrossing the bosom comes in eight muted shades, from beige to earthy brown. The collection is sexy, stretchy and athletic-looking, in viscose or velvet knits and available in solid colors, including neutrals, much like the minimalist Skims underwear.
Skims, a mere two years old, is continuing a rapid expansion beyond its beginnings with inclusive shapewear and bras, having added pajamas, loungewear, dresses and children’s wear, with more to come. Each new drop is centered around a specific fabric (jacquard, velour, cotton and so on), and items can sell out quickly. It’s already surpassed unicorn status, having been valued at $1.6 billion. Kardashian West has both majority ownership and creative control of Skims, which ships globally and can be shopped for online in currencies including the Turkmenistani manat and the Malawian kwacha.
KKW on building a corporate enterprise: “I hope so,” she replies when asked if she intends to develop a broad corporate enterprise. “But I think of it more on the day-to-day. I’m just like, this is my vision. This is what I want to get done. If it turns into this huge beauty conglomerate? Oh, my God; that’s so amazing! Obviously, it’s everyone’s goal. You want it to be as amazing and huge as possible.”
KKW on her packed daily schedule: “My days are completely micromanaged to the minute,” she says. “In order to get away from the kids, I will go into my office at my house and study. And then working on beauty and rebranding and Skims, constantly, I’m always in fittings and fabric meetings. My days are pretty full…. And that’s it. I love to be home; I love my weekends at home.”
Is she a workaholic? “I know, I know, I am,” Kardashian West says. “I get a lot of my work ethic from my dad.”
KKW on brand building early in the beginning: “It was just whatever the feeling was. We were like on a collection basis,” she says. “I didn’t know the business so I didn’t know how you could evolve.”
She’s now learning about the difference between ready-made packaging and the more luxurious look of custom-tooled designs. “I did what I could at the time,” Kardashian West says of her early packaging.
KKW on being her own fit model: “I really like to be a fit model…I need to feel it,” she says. “I probably do so much more work than people assume, that might not even be necessary at this point. But I do it.”
KKW on the genesis of Skims x Fendi: The Fendi collaboration came about as a result, she says, of her friendship with Kim Jones. She heard that women in his office were fans of Skims. “So I sent him a bunch,” she says. Jones flew to Calabasas to discuss a collaboration in December 2020.
KKW on Skims plans: Kardashian West says she is not thinking about adding ready-to-wear to Skims. “Not that we have discussed. That’s definitely not part of the plan, definitely not in the next couple of year[s],” she says. She is, though, intending to bring out more workout wear (“yoga-ish,” she says).
KKW on taking over for her mother as family manager one day: She now weighs in on most of the family’s deals jointly with Kris Jenner. “If there’s a deal, it’s always my mom, me and our attorney talking it over,” Kardashian West says.
People close to the family expect her to take the reins when Kris, 66, one day retires. “We’ve talked about it. I would assemble a team of people to take over,” Kardashian West says. “I hope it doesn’t happen for a really long time, because I’m really busy.”

The star and her professional dance partner, Brandon Armstrong, were sent home during the competition show’s “Horror Night” after the duo landed in the bottom two for the third time. “I just want to say thank you so much for this opportunity,” the reality star said at the end of the night. “This has been a dream come true. I love you guys so much.”
Following the elimination, the star took to Instagram to share videos of herself crying and wiping away tears now that her run on DWTS has come to an end. “So sad right now,” the 50-year-old captioned one of the Instagram Story clips as she flew home to Atlanta from Los Angeles, where the series taped.

Alicia Keys has officially announced her first album in two years, simply titled Keys. The double album will feature two sides containing different versions of the same songs. The “Original” side will consist of “laidback piano vibes,” produced entirely by Alicia, while the “Unlocked” side will feature “upbeat, drums, level up vibes,” produced by Alicia and Mike Will Made-It.
The follow-up to 2020’s Alicia has already spawned the single “LALA (Unlocked)” featuring Swae Lee. Alicia has also been in the studio with J. Cole and Raphael Saadiq.

Jada Pinkett Smith is getting real about her sex life with husband Will Smith. It’s a topic a lot of couples might relate to about keeping things spicy in the bedroom after many years together — and the expectations we place on a partner when it comes to our wants and desires.
Jada had Gwyneth Paltrow on her latest episode of Facebook Watch’s Red Table Talk, so naturally, the entire 30-minute show was dedicated to a frank and open dialogue about a topic that can be taboo for some women: Sex. The host explained that after almost 24 years of marriage, it can be “hard” to keep up the excitement in the bedroom — and that’s often because both men and women fail to speak up about what they need. “The thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey. We started in this at a very young age, 22 years old… I think you expect your partner to know [what you need], especially when it comes to sex,” she admitted. “It’s like, ‘Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.’ That’s a huge pitfall.”
Everyone has to get downright “uncomfortable” and have open lines of “deeply healthy” communication. “Tell me what you need, tell me what you want, and on top of it, I know that I have to be accountable to do the same. I really try [to do that],” she explained. “[Especially], I think, around sex, because it’s something that we don’t talk about a lot and there’s so much fantasy around it.”
And for Will and Jada, there have been ups and downs in the union that even played out in public with both of them admitting they had stepped outside of their marriage during a brief separation. She spoke about her “entanglement” with singer August Alsina on Red Table Talk in July 2020, where Will admitted that during that time in their marriage, “I was done with yo a**. I was done with you. Marriages have that though.” But the couple has managed to come back together and present a united front about their imperfect, but strong, marriage — and a lot of the reasons for reconciling probably had to do with the awkward conversations they are willing to have in (and out) of the bedroom.

New York Attorney General Letitia James plans to run for governor, according to three people directly familiar with her plans who spoke to The Associated Press on Wednesday. James will enter the race as a formidable candidate for the Democratic nomination just months after issuing a damning report that drove Andrew Cuomo from office in a sexual harassment scandal. The three people familiar with her plans were not authorized to speak publicly. James is expected to make an announcement later this week, according to one of the people. Kimberly Peeler-Allen, a James campaign adviser said in a statement: “Attorney General Letitia James has made a decision regarding the governor’s race. She will be announcing it in the coming days.” James, 63, is the first woman elected as New York’s attorney general and the first Black person to serve in the role. With a power base in New York City, she is poised to be a top threat to Gov. Kathy Hochul, who had been Cuomo’s lieutenant governor.
Hochul, who is from the Buffalo area, entered office with a reputation as a political centrist but has been striving to win over New York City progressives, making numerous appearances in the city during her first months in office. James, who was born and raised in Brooklyn and made her first run for City Council as a candidate of the liberal Working Families Party, would have the reverse task of winning over upstate Democrats who might be more conservative. Before this year, James was best known nationally for her frequent legal tussles with former President Donald Trump. Since she became attorney general in 2019, her office has investigated Trump’s business affairs and sued the Republican’s administration dozens of times over federal policies on immigration, the environment and other matters. James also filed a lawsuit accusing the National Rifle Association’s leaders of financial mismanagement, the latest in a string of regulatory actions that have delighted liberals but drawn complaints from Republicans that she has unfairly used her office to target political opponents.
Under public pressure, Cuomo last year authorized James to investigate allegations he had sexually harassed several women. The independent investigators she hired to conduct the inquiry released a report in August concluding that there were credible allegations from 11 women, including one aide who said the governor had groped her breast. Cuomo and his political advisers assailed the report as an unfair and inaccurate hit job, designed to drive him out of a job James coveted. But he resigned from office in August, saying the state couldn’t afford the distraction of an impeachment fight. James dismissed the charge that her investigation was politically motivated, saying Cuomo should take responsibility for his own conduct. James’ announcement will set the stage for a competitive race featuring Hochul fighting to retain the job she got when Cuomo quit, and a host of other potential candidates who could sap some of the attorney general’s potential downstate strength. New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio have both said they are considering a run. Two other potential Democratic candidates come from Long Island: Suffolk County executive Steve Bellone and U.S. Rep. Thomas Suozzi, who lives in Nassau County. Cuomo might also be a factor in the race.
After leaving office, he has dug into his campaign funds to pay the salaries of spokespeople and lawyers who have spent months blasting James’ integrity on television and on social media. Republican candidates include U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, a Trump-aligned congressman from Long Island; Andrew Giuliani, the son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani; and former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, who lost to Cuomo in 2014. The primary election is in June and the general election is in November 2022. Before becoming attorney general, James was New York City’s public advocate, an elected job where she acted as a sort of city ombudsman. Previously, she was a member of the City Council. She worked as a public defender and an assistant state attorney general. She graduated from Lehman College in the Bronx and earned her law degree from Howard University in Washington.
'Insecure' Star Jay Ellis Accused Of Purposefully Keeping 'His White Wife Off His Instagram Page'!
Following his rise to fame with his role on HBO’s drama “Insecure”, Jay Ellis’ private life is also scrutinized by public. Now, his fans have found out that he apparently has been in a longtime relationship with Serbian model Nina Senicar, which surprised them as she never appears on his social media page.

I think for me, we give so much of ourselves in what we do no matter what side of the industry we’re on so for me…a relationship for me is probably the most important thing that I think two people can have.”
With the final season of the successful HBO series in full swing, Ellis has started to trend on social media. Unfortunately, not all the chatter is positive.
“Nah I just can’t get over I just know for a fact Jay Ellis publicist be telling him to keep his white wife off his Instagram page,” posted one seemingly observant Twitter user, prompting quite the discussion.
“He is married to a white woman???? Omg,” replied one person, while another added, “Yo y’all knew Jay Ellis had a white wife bc EYE did not.”
A third claimed that they were not surprised Senicar was nowhere to be found on Ellis’ social media channels because “he has a black women [sic] fanbase it don’t work lol..everyone hide they white partners cause of this.”
Using the same argument, someone else alleged that “she’s bad for business,” while another explained that “the entire black community will roast you for not having a black partner.”
At this point, it’s not even clear if Ellis and Senicar are even together. He does not appear on her Instagram, either, and the two rarely post their child.
Reps for the actor have not yet responded to Radar’s request for comment.

Tom Hanks Surprises Couple After Their Wedding Ceremony On The Beach!
Diciembre and Tashia Farries celebrated their wedding day with their family, close friends and Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks.
The brides tied the knot on Oct. 22 and went to the beach by Santa Monica Pier to take photos when Hanks stopped by to say congratulations.
"We were so in our own moment so for him to walk up, it was shocking and took a second for us to realize. It was the cherry on top for our big day," Diciembre Farries told TODAY.
In a video of the encounter, members of the wedding party can be heard shouting, "That's Woody!" referring to the character Hanks voiced in the "Toy Story" series.
The newlyweds said Hanks spent at least five minutes chatting with them and even asked them for a photo. They posed with Hanks and their 1-year-old son, August.
"He said he noticed the ceremony and gave us many compliments and just said we looked beautiful," Tashia Farries said. "He gave us love advice and was just so positive and humble."
This isn't the first time Hanks has crashed a wedding party. In 2016, he saw newlyweds taking photos in Central Park and stopped to say hello and pose for a few selfies.
In 2018, Hanks surprised an Alabama couple by responding to their wedding invitation. While he wasn't able to make the ceremony, Hanks invited the newlyweds to be his guests at a play he was in that summer.
Robin McNamara Star Of Broadway’s ‘Hair’, One-Hit-Wonder With ‘Lay a Little Lovin’ On Me’ Has DIED at 74!
Robin McNamara, a struggling New York singer-songwriting in the late 1960s who answered a casting call for a new show called Hair and landed a starring role with the replacement cast on Broadway, died Oct. 21. He was 74.
His death was announced today on his official website, though additional details were sparse.
“On October 21, 2021, Robin McNamara gained his angel wings,” a statement on the page says. “This gentlest of gentle souls was predeceased by his loving wife, Suzie, who departed the earthly plane on May 16, 2018. Robin and Suzie are now reunited for all eternity. Robin will be greatly missed, for his talent but especially for his kind and loving spirit.”
In addition to his run as Hair‘s Claude from 1969-71 (he replaced the original James Rado, who also wrote the musical’s book and lyrics), McNamara had a big radio hit during the summer of 1970 titled “Lay a Little Lovin’ on Me,” a bouncy, ear-catching pop tune with the instantly memorable chorus “Lay a little lovin’ on me/Lay a little lovin’ on me/A-honey, doggone it, I depend upon it/So lay a little lovin’ on me!”
McNamara’s sole hit was co-written with his songwriting partner Jim Cretecos and record producer Jeff Barry, who had signed the Hair star to his Steed record label. The sprightly tune had reached No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by the end of summer 1970 and also charted in Canada and Australia.
Born and raised in Newton, MA, McNamara later would remember being inspired by the early wave of rock ‘n’ roll pioneers he was hearing on the radio. “In 10th grade a couple of friends of mine played guitar and asked me if I wanted to sing in a band,” he said in an interview on his website. “It was 1963, and I loved Roy Orbison, so [we did] some of [his] material; we also did a lot of Buddy Holly material.
“I was one of the first to grow my hair long in those days,” he continued, “and got thrown out of high school a few times because my hair grew too long. I never cut it on my own; I would wait for them to tell me to cut it, or they would throw me out again, which they would periodically do! Each time they did, [the band] got free publicity from all the Boston TV, radio and newspapers. My parents were so cool about the whole thing just as long as I graduated, so each time, after a few days I would slightly cut my hair, [just] acceptable enough to get back in. I remember we had a protest with over 500 kids at the school one day all chanting in unison: ‘Leave it long! Let it grow!'”
His long hair would prove useful after his move to New York. Initially hired as a member of the Hair chorus, McNamara went on to briefly play the role of Woof before taking on the co-lead role of Claude.
In the same interview, McNamara recalled simultaneously working on Broadway and touring to support his hit pop song.
“It was great fun,” he said. “I got to work with some really neat people along the way. One night I shared the bill with John Denver and Albert King in El Paso, Texas — what a unique combination that was. After the show we were all invited to go over the border to Juarez. I will never forget all three of us sitting there drinking XXX beer and listening to a Spanish band doing ‘Spinning Wheel.’ What a fun time we had. Lots of hard laughter.”
McNamara continued to record and perform in later years, often with other oldies acts and at benefits.
'Sex & The City' Revival That' Will Address Race on HBO Max Series!
Nicole Ari Parker is opening up about And Just Like That…, which is the revival of the Sex and the City series.
The 51-year-old actress is a recent addition to the cast, and is set to portray Lisa Todd Wexley, a Park Avenue mother of three and documentarian.
Speaking with Variety, Nicole opened up about how the series will handle race.
“I’m excited to be a part of something that’s different for them,” Nicole shared with the paper about the topics the show will touch on.
She added, “We can talk about the elephant in the room that there were no fully fleshed-out characters of color, but now here’s the four of us. We’re real people, and they’ve been great to work with, and some of our [storylines] deal with race and deal with real experiences. It’s New York City!”
Nicole, along with Karen Pittman, Sara Ramirez and Sarita Choudhury, are the four new members of the cast, and from diverse backgrounds.
“We’re grown-ass women, so we know how to keep it sexy,” she added about the sex appeal as well. “It’s piping hot.”
And Just Like That… will be out in December on HBO Max.

Vanessa Bryant wins ruling, Los Angeles officials must testify about crash photos!
Vanessa Bryant scored a legal victory in her lawsuit against the Los Angeles County authorities who allegedly took photos of the helicopter crash site where her husband Kobe Bryant, their 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others were killed. On Tuesday (Oct. 26), Judge Charles F. Eick ruled that Sheriff Alex Villanueva and fire department Chief Daryl Osby will have to testify because they seem to have “unique first-hand, non-repetitive knowledge” that is relevant to the case.
Bryant filed a lawsuit last year alleging saying that she and her family endured emotional distress after first responders and deputies allegedly shared photos of human remains from the helicopter crash.

Lawyers who represent the county argued that the sheriff did not have any pertinent information.
“While we disagree with the court’s decision, we will make both the Sheriff and Fire Chief available for deposition,” Skip Miller, attorney for Los Angeles County, said in a statement. “Their testimony will not change the fact that there is no evidence any photos taken by County first responders have ever been publicly disseminated.”
According to Bramt’s suit, sheriff's deputies and members of the local fire department took graphic photos of the helicopter crash victims and images of Kobe’s remains were shared with a bartender and a patron at a local bar.

During a deposition earlier this month, Bryant said she pleaded with Villanueva to ensure that no one would take photos. “I said, if you can’t bring my husband and baby back, please make sure no one takes photographs of them. Please secure the area,” the widow reportedly said.
Villanueva said he secured the area and reportedly told Bryant, “All is good. The area is secure.”
Bryant also shared how she found out about the Jan. 26, 2020 helicopter crash from social media. “I was holding onto my phone, because obviously I was trying to call my husband back, and all these notifications started popping up on my phone, saying ‘RIP Kobe. RIP Kobe. RIP Kobe,’” she recalled. Up until that moment, Bryant believed that Kobe and their daughter were possible survivors of the crash.

Sidney attempted to clear up the rumors before being pressed to clarify by hosts Jeane Mai and Toni Love. “Saying you’re dating someone and that person doesn’t date you, gets in murky waters,” added Love.
Several years ago, Starr took a photo with rapper Chingy that sparked a rumor that they had a secret relationship, which he denied. The damage was done and eventually Starr apologized for her actions that led to the unwarranted controversy that affected Chingy’s rap career.
“I’m only human. I come from a very scratchy past, but I will say this: I am all about positivity,” Starr insisted. “Ms. Starr is coming with nothing but love and positivity and I want everyone to know that just because I have a past with something like that does not mean I’m that same type of person now.”

Singer Chante Moore and former BET executive Stephen Hill are engaged!
The couple went ‘Instagram official’ Tuesday and announced their engagement while on a tropical vacation celebrating Hill’s 60th birthday.
“I’m happier than the morning sun and that’s the way you said that it would be… If I should ever bring you inside my life…” Moore said in a lengthy Instagram post.

Janet Hubert Thinks Alec Baldwin’s Shooting Incident Was Orchestrated By Someone Looking To ‘Get Back’ At The Actor For His ‘Trump Impersonations’!
Actress Janet Hubert believes foul play was involved in Alec Baldwin’s shooting incident.
As previously reported, last Thursday (Oct. 21), news broke that actor Alec Baldwin, 63, fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, in New Mexico while filming the western movie ‘Rust’. According to reports, the shooting was a mistake that occurred when Alec Baldwin discharged a prop firearm on set. The film’s director, Joel Souza, 48, was injured during the accidental shooting but is alive. According to reports, it’s still unclear why the gun contained a projectile. To date, no one has been charged in relation to the incident.
Janet Hubert, 65, recently revealed that she thinks Alec Baldwin was set up in the shooting tragedy for his Trump impersonations.
The original Vivian Banks took to her Twitter account and said,
“Am I crazy, but my first thought was Baldwin was given this gun on purpose from someone to get back at him for his Trump impersonations? I have never seen prop guns sitting out on set EVER. [shock face emoji] Then to photograph his pain and give it to the press! Hmmmm, so very heartless, TRUMPERS?”
