After attending the BET Awards on Sunday, Kanye West and Kim
Kardashian caught a plane straight from L.A. to Paris for Fashion Week. The
stylish couple, matching in black, caused a stir as they made their way through
the streets to the Stephane Rolland Haute Couture show. A smiling ‘Ye and his
girlfriend took in the designer’s runway fashions from the front
row.
Kanye won’t have much time to spend overseas because he has to
be back in Atlantic City for his two concerts at Revel Resort on Tonight and
tomorrow.

the TV show “Love & Hip Hop ATL” but recently decided to give a interview.

I feel like only one person can judge me, and that’s God,” Diamond told MTV News on Sunday on the BET Awards red carpet, hand-in-hand with her current boyfriend, Soulja Boy. “That’s my past. I’m in the future right now, and I wish everybody the best.”…… Soulja Boy says, “This is my baby, this is my girl, so anything said about her is basically they’re saying it about me,” he said, holding Diamond’s hand. “I’m backin’ her 100 percent, and we’re just focusing on the positive. Anybody talkin’ about her name on TV, that’s just bringin’ us up more. So salute to them, we wish them the best.”

Diamond who is extra busy preparing to release her new mixtape
“Street Life,” in addition to her solo album, which is slated to land in stores
next year.
The 24-year-old rapper, who rose to fame as a member of Crime Mob,
is best known for being on Crime Mob’s hit singles like “Knuck If You Buck,”
“Stilettos (Pumps)” and ”Rock Yo Hips” (featuring Lil Scrappy).
She said she
has since adapted to the being a solo artist since splitting with the group in
2007.“It’s just different
to look to my left and my right and see that their [Crime Mob] is not there
anymore,” Diamond told AllHipHop. “As far as being creative, subject matter, I
talk about what I want to talk about now. [And] my money isn’t divided five ways
now, all the money comes to me. For the most part I’ve adapted to going to
solo.”
Although she’s solo artist, Diamond said she was open to the possibility of a reunion with her estranged group members, including Princess, with whom she has publicly feuded with in the past.
“Somewhere down the line, there could be [a reunion]. Right now, I’ve worked so hard to prove that I’m not just ‘Diamond from Crime Mob’ to where I’m just Diamond. I just feel like its only right for me to deliver with the album,” said Diamond.

Amy Winehouse collaboration with Nas surfaces online
Amy Winehouse could soon be back in the charts in a
collaboration with US rapper Nas.
A new track featuring previously unreleased vocals by the late singer has surfaced online.
The track, called Cherry Wine, features Amy, who died from alcohol poisoning a year ago, singing the chorus with the lines: ‘Where is he / the man who is just like me / I heard he was hiding / somewhere I can’t see.

The song was produced by Salaam Remi, who had introduced the pair and worked on both of Amy’s albums released when she was alive, Frank and Back To Black.
New York rapper Nas had recorded with Amy before. Their song Like Smoke was released on her posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures.

Speaking about that track, Nas said hearing it back was
difficult for him.
‘The bitter part is that she’s no longer here to really give it to us and to really live her music and for us to see her smile and hear her voice.’
Cherry Wine appears on Nas’ new album, Life Is Good which also features work from Drake, Rick Ross, Mary J Blige, Swizz Beatz and Heavy D and will be released on July 17.
Joe Budden’s Ex Tahiry To Replace Emily B On Love & Hip Hop
Love & Hip Hop may be visiting Atlanta for now, but VH1 is
gearing up to bring the show back home to New York for a third season. And with
two of their major cast members out of the picture (Chrissy and Emily B)
producers are pulling out all the stops to keep viewers tuned in, including
snagging model Tahiry Rose and her ex-boyfriend Joe Budden to appear on the
show.
Of course, it wouldn’t be reality TV without drama so just to make things a little more interesting, producers are trying to get Somaya Reece, who’s also been linked to Joe Budden, to sign on for another season. [Messsssy!!!]

To give you a little back story on these folks, Joe was with
his main squeeze Tahiry for about 5 years strong until they called it quits back
in 2009. Later that same year, Joe snatched up Latina model/music artist Somaya
Reece. For a hot second, he was flaunting her around as his new arm candy but it
wasn’t long before that relationship ended badly and, in true Joe Budden
fashion, he went in on Somaya and aired her out via Twitter and YouTube.
Needless to say, things got real ugly, real fast.

Budden with “F-ckin lunatic” insults and “erectile dysfuntion” claims by Somaya.
In the meantime, Tahiry managed to stay pretty lowkey for the most part until a
video of her mocking Somaya surfaced on the internet. Now Somaya and Tahiry hate
each other. More recently, rumors of Tahiry and Joey rekindling their flame have
been swirling since an emotional viral video of the two discussing their past
relationship woes hit the net last December. This was after Joe Budden put his
girlfriend at the time, Esther Baxter on blast in a song.
[Yes, that is a lot to keep up with.]
It’s safe to say, if Somaya decides that she does not want to come back, Esther Baxter is next on the list of possible replacements.

Three Stacks Movie Won't Have Hendrix Music
Andre 3000 is in Dublin Ireland shooting a bio-pic about rock
star Jimi Hendrix, too bad there won't be any Hendrix music in the
film...
Back in May when news spread that 3 Stacks was doing a movie
about the life of Jimi Hendrix, the Hendrix Estate made it clear they were not
involved, did not approve and would not allow any of Jimi Hendrix music to be
used in the production [click here if you missed that], so Andre and them had to
improvise.
The film, All Is By My Side, will feature Andre 3000 as Jimi
Hendrix covering songs by The Beatles, Muddy Waters and Chip Taylor.

Will.I.Am Defends Nicki Minaj: ‘If Hip Hop Is Going To
Continue To Limit People, I Say F-ck Hip Hop.’
It’s a whole month after the infamous Hot 97 concert where
radio host Peter Rosenberg went on stage and threw a diss at Nicki Minaj and her
international hit, ‘Starships’ which ultimately made her refuse to perform at
the show. The incident sparked tons of discussions on whether or not Nicki Minaj
should even be considered a real ‘Hip Hop’ artist while folks continued to
question her credibility as an actual ‘rapper’ since she’s dabbling into pop
music.
Vibe recently caught up with producer Will.I.Am, who
collaborated with Nicki on the international track ‘Check It Out’, and he didn’t
hold his tongue when it came to his personal feelings about folks trying to put
Hip Hop artists in a box. He sang her praises for not limiting herself to just
one genre while pegging Hip Hop, the ‘unhealthiest community’.
“I’m proud of Nicki. You can’t listen to this stuff about not
being real hip-hop. You gotta go and get it. Whatever the music is called that’s
what it’s called whether it’s hip-hop, pop, rock, gospel or a freaking musical,
who cares? Nicki is an artist and she is expressing herself. Why limit
yourself?”
“Hip-Hop was broadening itself in the ‘90s,” he says. “You had A Tribe Called Quest and Death Row…you had Lauryn Hill singing and rapping. You had Too Short, Outkast, Nas and the Roots. Hip-Hop was broadening itself. Now hip-hop is limiting itself. If hip-hop is going to continue to limit people I say ‘F-ck hip-hop.’ It’s like the most unhealthiest community.”

Beyonce’s daddy slash EX-manager Mathew Knowles had a reality
show that aired first internationally. Now they have brought the new show to
MTV. The music executive, who counts himself responsible for the success of girl
group Destiny’s Child and says he’s taken “them from the back yard to the top of
the world,” has decided to put another group together!
With the cameras rolling, Mathew has decided to film the
entire process for his new reality show, “Breaking From Above.”
