#MAGFAB Actor Henry Golding for Attitude Magazine!

“Crazy Rich Asians” star Henry Golding covers the latest issue of Attitude magazine photographed by Dennis Leupold and styled by Evan Simonitsch.

On the world being ready for a non-white Bond: “I’m Asian and everybody’s fighting for a diverse Bond – sorry, white guys,” he laughs.

“Isn’t it great that we’re having that conversation? Isn’t it great that people are like, ‘Ok, now it’s time, why the hell can’t we have a black Bond, an Asian Bond, a mixed-race Bond, a non-distinct Bond?” he adds.

“I don’t know…It’s an honour to even be in the conversation. It’s one of the greatest film roles ever, you’d be stupid to be like, ‘I don’t want to do that s***.’ F*** no, it would be the wildest ride,” Henry exclaims.

#RHOA: Andy Cohen Reacts to Nene Leakes' RHOA Departure: She Is 'An Icon of the Genre'!

Andy Cohen is wishing NeNe Leakes nothing but the best following her recent revelation that she will no longer be a part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

On Thursday, the 52-year-old Watch What Happens Live host shared a series of photos of himself with the reality star, also 52, from over the years, as he praised her contribution to the hit Bravo franchise.

"Nene Leakes is an icon of the genre," Cohen began the caption to his heartfelt Instagram post. "She is a gif and catchphrase machine."

Cohen went on to note that Leakes has been the "most frequent guest" on WWHL over the past 11 years and added that she "is always A BLAST," before he revealed the nickname that Leakes gave him when they first met — "Buttercup" — which she still uses to this day.

"Through her whole run, she has always had a serious concern and drive to maintain the success and well-being of #RHOA," he added. "I am going to miss Nene on the show, but I’m hoping we work together again soon and will remain in each other’s orbits forever."

Cohen then closed out his caption with a slew of Leakes' infamous catchphrases in hashtags, including "#ISaidWhatISaid," "#WeSeeEachOthah" and "#SoNastyAndSoRude."

Leakes announced that she will not be returning to the Atlanta-based iteration of the popular Bravo series for its upcoming 13th season through a video posted Thursday on her YouTube channel.

"Thank you to all of you guys that have been showing me a lot of love and support as of late. I feel you, I hear you. I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation. There has been a lot of emotion flying on both sides," she said in the video. "It has been hard, and I have made the very hard and difficult decision to not be a part of Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13."

"It wasn't an easy decision for me," she continued. "It was hard. I started on The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2008. We took off like a rocket. I mean, we took off. You could have never told me that I would start on this little show and it still be going strong 13, 14 years later. And it is. I'm just so happy that I can say that I was a part of a genre that opened up doors for Black ensemble reality shows to step up and be a part of what we all now love so much, reality TV."

She ended her message by promising, "I will see you again. Real soon."

Following news of her exit, a rep for Bravo said in a statement to PEOPLE: "We wish Nene all the best in her future endeavors and thank her for sharing her journey for over a decade with the fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

The network also hinted that the door may be open to her returning in the future.

"She's been instrumental since the start and will truly be missed, and maybe one day she'll hold the peach again," the statement concluded.

Leakes previously left the longtime Bravo series after season 7 to focus on her television roles (Glee, The New Normal, E!’s Fashion Police). While she later appeared as a guest for season 8, she skipped season 9 all together before returning full-time in season 10.

#MusicNews: New Billie Holiday Documentary Coming This November

The documentary will showcase unseen footage and interviews from the 1960s and 70s. Greenwich Entertainment is releasing a documentary on the life of jazz singer Billie Holiday titled Billie. The documentary will tell the story of the singer, who became a household name in the 1930s and 40s, while also talking about her brushes with political rebellion and her turbulent later life.

Kuehl’s biography about the 1988 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient was unfortunately never finished due to her own death. Additionally, the never-before-heard tapes were never shared.

As well as featuring intimate testimonies, the hour-long documentary, which is described as “raw, emotional and brutally honest,” will comprise restored and colorized performances by the singer for the first time. The trailer for the documentary can be watched HERE.

Presented by Greenwich Entertainment, in partnership with the Billie Holiday estate, with independent funding by Altitude, BBC Music and Motion Picture, BILLIE is set to premiere on November 13.

#NewHopNews: Kanye West Reveals Eminem Raps On Delayed Dr. Dre-Produced 'Jesus Is King' Album!

Whenever Kanye West‘s Jesus Is King sequel arrives, it will feature a verse from Eminem.

Ye revealed the news in a tweet on Friday (September 18), where he thanked the legendary Detroit rapper for appearing on the Dr. Dre-produced remix of “Use This Gospel.” The original track appeared on Jesus Is King in October 2019.

“@Eminem Thank you for rapping on the Dr Dre remix of my daughter’s favorite song of mine USE THIS GOSPEL,” Kanye wrote.

Shortly after Jesus Is King was released, Ye revealed he’d been in the lab with Dr. Dre cooking up the sequel, so the project has had fans waiting for nearly a year. Not too many details are known outside of Dre’s involvement, but famed cinematographer Arthur Jafa recently said he worked on a new music video for the album and revealed the alleged title.

“It’s from his new record,” Jafa said of the video they shot. “It’s called God’s Country and this will be like the first single I guess off of it. I don’t know if I’m supposed to not be announcing it or whatever. I may just be spilling the beans. It’s from a new record that’s forthcoming. I don’t know when the album is coming out but the single – I think maybe sometime next week. Maybe. I’m not sure. It’s not definite.”

Vivica A. Fox reveals COVID-19 diagnosis at Emmys 2020!

Vivica A. Fox wasn’t able to host E!’s Emmy red carpet on Sunday because she tested positive for COVID-19.

“I am terribly sorry I cannot be with my E! family tonight!” Fox, 56, said in a statement during the Emmys 2020 pre-show. “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for coronavirus. So, in an abundance of caution, I am isolating myself at home.”

She continued, “During these unprecedented times, it’s more important than ever that we follow all safety and health rules and guidelines to protect ourselves and each other.”

Fox sent her best to Nina Parker and Brad Goreski, who ended up hosting the show.

“Congratulations to all of tonight’s nominees. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon,” she ended her note.

Giuliana Rancic also announced on Sunday that she also missed the red carpet because of COVID-19.

“As part of E! and NBCUniversal’s very strict testing guidelines, especially before an event like this, I did find out that I tested positive for COVID-19,” she said in a pre-recorded video. “Now, as much as I didn’t want to hear that, I am very thankful I heard it before I traveled and possibly could have exposed other people, so for that, I’m thankful.”

Tyler Perry Shares Powerful Message About Diversity While Accepting Governors Award at Emmys 2020!

The 51-year-old director, producer, and writer took to the stage during the virtual ceremony on Sunday (September 2) to accept the honor.

In his acceptance speech, Tyler shared a family story about his grandma giving him a quilt, that had a major significance in his life.

“When I was about 19 years old, I left home and my grandmother, she gave me a quilt that she had made,” Tyler recalled. “And this quilt was something I didn’t really care for. It had all these different colors and these different patches in it. And I was quite embarrassed by it. I had no value in it at all.”

Years later at an antique store, Tyler came across a similar quilt. The salesperson then told him a story about the quilt, which came from a freed slave woman.

“I became so embarrassed,” Tyler admitted. “Here I was, a person who prides myself on celebrating our heritage, our culture, and I didn’t even recognize the value in my grandmother’s quilt. I dismissed her work and her story because it didn’t look like what I thought it should. Now, whether we know it or not, we are all sewing our own quilts with our thoughts, our behaviors, our experiences, and our memories.”

Tyler continued, “I stand here tonight to say thank you to all of the people who are celebrating and know the value of every patch, and every story, and every color that makes up this quilt that is our business, this quilt that is our lives, this quilt that is America.”

“Because in my grandmother’s quilt, there are no patches that represented Black people on television,” Tyler concluded his speech. “But in my quilt, her grandson is being celebrated by the Television Academy. I thank you for this. God bless you.”

Alicia Keys Says She Almost Gave “If I Ain’t Got You” To Christina Aguilera!

Alicia Keys nearly gave her 2003 hit ballad “If I Ain’t Got You” to Christina Aguilera. In an interview with Stereogum, the Grammy award-winning musician revealed it was her A&R at who put a halt to the move.

Aguilera was working on her 2002 project Stripped at the time and wanted to work with Keys.

“I think we were on the same label at the time,” Keys recalled. “She ‘Would you write something for me?’ And then it came through so many emails. What a voice! I know I could write something fire for her. So time passed and I hadn’t written the song yet. And [the label] was like, ‘Do you have anything for Christina’ I remember I had just recently written ‘If I Ain’t Got You.’”

When Keys told her A&R at the time to play the track for her and he profusely opposed.

“He said, ‘Are you fucking crazy? We’re not giving her that song. Are you out your mind?’ I was like, ‘Why not? I’ll write a hundred more of those, it’s fine. I think she should hear it. I don’t really think it’s a big deal,’” she said. “But I thought, ‘Fine, I’ll go write another song.’ So I went off and wrote ‘Impossible.’”

“If I Ain’t Got You” lived on Keys’ Grammy award-winning album The Diary of Alicia Keys and landed at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Keys also won Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for the moving song.

“I will never forget that I would have given away ‘If I Ain’t Got You,’” she noted during the interview while acknowledging how much things would be different if the song did become Aguilera’s.

“Isn’t that crazy? So that’s a good story,” she added.

Alicia Keys just released her seventh studio album ALICIA which includes 17 tracks and production from 1500 or Nothin’ and Sampha.

Kim Kardashian Could Divorce Kanye West Over His Stance On Abortion!

Kim Kardashian is thinking about divorcing Kanye West in light of his latest episode, A source close to the couple tells Page Six that West’s bipolar disorder and his anti-abortion stance have taken a toll on their crumbling marriage.

“Kim has the whole divorce planned out,” our insider shared, “but she’s waiting for him to get through his latest episode.”

Over the past few months, West, 43, has been extremely vocal about about being pro-life, telling a rally crowd that he and Kardashian, 39, nearly aborted their oldest child, daughter North West.

“I almost killed my daughter,” he said during the July event. “No more Plan B, Plan A.”

Not long after, Kardashian defended the “Jesus Is King” rapper and opened up about his mental health struggles.

A separate source later told Page Six that she wouldn’t divorce West because it wasn’t “a good look” at the time.

In September, West revisited the topic of abortion with Nick Cannon and said his greatest accomplishment was “still being sensitive enough to cry at the idea of aborting my daughter.” But West sparked concern again last week when he mentioned his daughter in a tweet about being murdered.

“NORTHY I AM GOING TO WAR AND PUTTING MY LIFE ON THE LINE AND IF I AM MURDERED DON’T EVER LET WHITE MEDIA TELL YOU I WASNT A GOOD MAN,” West tweeted, adding, “WHEN PEOPLE THREATEN TO TAKE YOU OUT OF MY LIFE JUST KNOW I LOVE YOU.”

Reps for the couple didn’t respond to numerous requests for comment.

Eve Admits Her Wild Party Habits Caused Her Sitcom To Be Canceled!

At the highest point of Eve’s career, she ambitiously juggled a self-titled sitcom on UPN that became a popular weekly fix in Black households but was ultimately pulled off-air due to low ratings.  Looking back at it now, the “Pitbull in a skirt” regretfully admits she is the main one to blame for the show’s failure.

The rap star explained during an episode of “Uncensored” how she struggled to shake the lure of nightlife while simultaneously keeping up with the rigors of filming a television series.

“Having my own sitcom was everything. It was pressure, it was fun, it was stressful. It was amazing. I was the youngest at the time, of the cast. And a lot of them were just getting married, just having babies or just buying their first house. I was still going to the club trying to get to set at 9 a.m. Trying to get to a table read, which was—don’t do that, ever.

It took me a minute to figure out that rhythm because I had always been on tour, all my life, pretty much, up until that point. I think for me to offset some of that, I was still trying to hang out at night. Which was not good.

When the show ended, it was definitely heartbreaking because at that time, we had done three seasons and we were family at this point. I do believe a lot of it had to do with the fact that I was trying to straddle both sides of my life, still trying to hold on to kind of hanging out. And I was late a lot. That’s not cool. I do think a lot of it had to do with my actions at that time.

And I do think about it sometimes. When I look back on it, I’m like, wow. I don’t believe in regrets but that is one time in my life where I wish I would have taken it a little more seriously than I did.”

Ex-NBA Guard Ty Lawson Banned From Chinese Basketball Team For Saying Chinese Women ‘Got Cakes On The Low’!

Ty Lawson has been banned from the Chinese Basketball Association for life after making some inappropriate posts on Instagram.

Over the weekend, the former NBA player took to his Instagram stories to send out a few posts covering his opinion of Chinese women. In the first one, Lawson claimed that he needs to “switch up his stance soon” on Chinese women because they “got cakes on the low.” Later on, in the second post, he uploads a picture of himself getting what looks to be a lap dance from a woman along with the caption “Yolo I guess lol.”

Unsurprisingly, the Chinese Basketball Association took Lawson’s post as forms of discrimination based on race and gender. Because of this, the Fujian Sturgeons—who Lawson plays for in China—decided to release him immediately. The CBA followed up soon thereafter by hitting him with a lifetime ban.

Following his release, angry fans of Chinese basketball went to flood Lawson’s Instagram feed with hundreds of hateful messages, which included a long list of racial slurs and other disgusting stereotypes being thrown Lawson’s way.

Trump Will Announce Supreme Court Nominee This Week!

The passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday has left a vacancy on the bench that Trump is expected to fill.

On Saturday, Donald Trump said he would announce Ginsburg’s replacement this week, several days before his first presidential debate with Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden on September 29.

Trump has given insight into who will receive his nomination: “It will be a woman—a very talented, very brilliant woman.” Trump announced his support during his campaign rally in North Carolina. “We haven’t chosen yet, but we have numerous women on the list.”

Trump’s nomination announcement will come several weeks ahead of the November presidential election and is supported by a growing number of Republicans who will push Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to make a quick vote on Trump’s appointee. McConnell has vowed that Trump’s pick will receive a Senate vote.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) is one Republican who does not support the move to fill Ginsburg’s seat prior to the November election and can play a crucial role in the voting process. On Saturday, Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) is another Republican who is in favor of filling the seat after the November election, saying that it should be the person elected that nominates Ginsburg’s replacement.

Biden has urged Senate Republicans not to vote on any court nominee put forward by Trump, appealing that they wait after the election during the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on Sunday. Biden believes by moving forward, it could take the nation further down the “dangerous path” of anger and partisanship.

“We need to deescalate, no escalate. That’s why I appeal to those few Senate Republicans—the handful who really will decide what happens—please, follow your conscience,” he said. “Don’t vote to confirm anyone nominated under the circumstances President Trump and Senator McConnell have created. Don’t go there. Uphold your constitutional duty, your conscience. Let the people speak. Cool the flames that have been engulfing our country.” Biden says even if Trump nominates a candidate, “the Senate should not act until after the American people select their next president.”

As for now, Biden will not reveal his list of contenders that he would possibly nominate to be the new Supreme Court Justice, mainly because he does not want the prospect to influence the decisions of any judges currently on the bench. Secondly, he predicts that anyone he names would endure a flood of partisan attacks prior to a nomination hearing that would take place in 2021 at the earliest. However, sticking to tradition, Trump announced his list earlier this month to protect the eventual nominee from protracted attacks.

“She would endure those attacks for months on end without being able to defend herself,” he added. Biden has once said that he would make sure to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court.

Biden paid his respect to Ginsburg while speaking in Philadelphia, calling her a “righteous soul.” He also said if he wins the election, Trump should withdraw his nominee.

Biden also wants to follow the tradition of choosing someone after speaking to senators from both parties, he would like to seek their advice and consent. He argued that announcing a shortlist would only serve the purpose of further politicizing the Supreme, which is already deeply faulted under Trump’s presidency.

“It will be the product of a process that restores our finest traditions, not the extension of ones that have torn our country apart these past years,” Biden said. “The infection this president has unleased on this democracy can be fatal. Enough. Enough. Enough. We must come together as a nation.”

With Ginsburg’s recent passing, the future of the Affordable Care Act is uncertain, as the Supreme Court gets ready to consider anew the constitutionality of the law that has molded America’s health-care system over the past ten years.

Ginsburg’s senior status as the court’s liberal branch leader gave a reliable vote to maintain the act in the past and expected to continue into the court’s review of the law for the third time this coming term.

“Ginsburg’s death is the nightmare scenario for the Affordable Care Act,” said the University of Michigan law professor Nicholas Bagley. “If the suit had a trivial chance of success yesterday, it has a new lease on life.” Bagley is referencing to the lawsuit that seeks to get rid of the health-care law. The nation’s highest court will start oral arguments a week after Election Day on the ACA lawsuit that was brought on by a coalition of Republican state attorneys and garnered support by Trump’s Justice Department.

As for now, the Republican National Committee emphasized on Sunday that Trump has an obligation to nominate and fill the vacancy on the bench, the Washington Post reports. They also provided an argument to support Trump’s decision to push forward.

“In both 2016 and 2018, the American people elected a President and Senate Republicans who are committed to selecting judicial nominees who believe in applying the Constitution as written. There have been 29 times a vacancy opened during an election year or prior to an inauguration. In each case, the sitting President has made an appointment.” Including that of President Barack Obama, who nominated Merrick Garland.

Only time will tell where we will end up from here.
