Mary J. Blige Looking Beautiful for Women’s Health Magazine!
As the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige has left an irreplaceable mark on fans and the music industry alike, but her laser focus on self-love is just as inspiring. For WOMEN’S HEALTH‘s October issue, she opens up about the lessons she’s still trying to learn, her thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement, and her trick for staying positive—because as far as Mary’s concerned, life can be only what you make it.

On singing to survive as a little girl: “I didn’t have big dreams and goals. I think because of the environment we lived in, it was hard to dream. Because if you dream or you smile too much, people would hurt you. Hurting people hurt people. But I was a singer, and people would always ask me to sing. I didn’t know that it was going to become this. I just thought God gave me a gift to survive, and that was my survival tactic, to sing. I would feel better about my environment; I would feel better about how we were living. I would feel better about everything if I just sang.”
On how the murder of George Floyd affected her: “This has affected me the same way it has affected the world. So much emotion, outrage, and anger has caused us all to respond the only way we knew how. It was traumatizing to see them kill this man for no reason—and so many of us every day for so many years. We have had years of frustration and years of being ignored, but all of this has brought change. We still have a long way to go, and this is why Black lives will always matter.”
On the hard lessons she’s learned about loving herself: “Self-love is the hardest thing to feel because we live in a world where everybody is hurting. Until you get satisfied with who you are, other people won’t ever be satisfied. That’s the growing process. That’s learning how to love and hug yourself and say, ‘You know what? I love you, Mary. I love you, Beautiful. I love you, Gorgeous. I love you, Smart Woman. I love you, Talented Woman.’ That’s a practice I do every single day.”

On what isolation during the pandemic has taught her: “I’m going to take away a real appreciation of this me time. I was already liking me, and now I have grown deeper in love with myself because I love my own company. I don’t think any of us realized how fast we had been moving. I really appreciate this rest and this silence, so that I can hear more clearly what’s going on. When you’re by yourself, you’re either going to be your own best friend and be honest and real with yourself, or you’re going to be your own worst enemy and deceive yourself. It’s been so clear to me that I am my best friend.”

The October issue is available for sale on September 11th.

#HipHopNews: Big Sean Earns His Third No. 1 Album As 'Detroit 2' Tops Billboard 200 Chart!
Big Sean has reason to celebrate as his sequel to 2012’s Detroit has topped the charts.
Detroit 2 earned over 103,000 equivalent album units according to Billboard. It marks Sean’s third No. 1 effort following 2015’s Dark Sky Paradise and 2017’s I Decided.
Sean couldn’t help but celebrate the moment on Instagram.

“Thank you! I sacrificed my privacy, I put so many emotions and lessons I learned the hard way into this music and gave a honest glimpse into my heart,” he wrote. “It wasn’t easy, nights I thought of Offing myslef cause Life was too heavy, but the lock in was worth it! Had to remember if I’m still here and so many aren’t, it’s for reason. My goal was to inspire YOU to turn yourself up in all ways, Mind, Body, n Soul. Life isn’t promised as we can see, so HAVE FUN and thank you so much for the #1 album for a 3rd time in a row! Let’s KEEP GOING, Why Would I stop?!”

The project was boosted by a number of high-profile guests including Travis Scott, JhenΓ© Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign, Dave Chappelle, Eminem, Royce Da 5’9 and more.
Sean’s road to Detroit 2 comes after he opened up about past beefs, misconceptions and more. One of those issues involved Kendrick Lamar. Fans speculated that the two had been at odds for years but according to both Sean and K. Dot, it was a mere misunderstanding.

“The situation was, he thought that people around him were telling him something, people around me were telling me something, and it just really wasn’t the case,” Sean told Sway during a recent interview. “So, when we were able to talk, it was a good reconciliation and it was a good mutual respect. Even when he heard ‘Deep Reverence,’ he hit me and was like ‘Yo, I appreciate you showing that love. I appreciate that love in the verse. You and Nip went crazy. Y’all gassed on it.’

“It was good to get that response from your brother because on that record, I just was keeping it open and honest and real. I wasn’t trying to hold back. It was not out of disrespect, either. It was out of respect for myself and the things I’ve learned along the way.”

The Gorgeous Taraji P. Henson Stunts In Tiny Bikini At 50th Birthday Party On Boat!
Taraji P. Henson brought in her 50th birthday with righteous aplomb.
The Oscar-winning actress, who took home the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, was revealing in ways we’d never seen from her before.

Henson gave her 16 million Instagram followers an eyeful of her bronze body as she stunted in an impossibly tiny two-piece white thong bikini that was accessorized with a Y-shaped necklace and black-and-white striped stunners.
The anchor of the hit series “Empire” brought in her new year on Earth by partying it up on a catamaran with besties Mary J. Blige and radio personality Angie Martinez — both of whom will probably do something similar next year as they are each 49 years old.
Henson has other things to celebrate as she surpasses the half-century mark in age. She has signed on to star in the “Empire” spinoff series that is based on her iconic Cookie Lyons character. According to Page Six, she has commissioned “Empire” creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong to co-executive produce the project, while Henson’s TPH production company will produce the series.

Meanwhile, Henson got a lot of love from a host of her celeb pals including Kerry Washington, La La Anthony, Regina Hall and Marlon Wayans, who wrote, “Happy bday. Talented, beautiful, funny and real… love you. Never change just keep evolving.”
“Don’t hurt em @tarajiphenson looking fine as wine girl Happy Birthday❤️,” Tina Lawson wrote in the comments section.

“Yassssss sis!!! Have a blast,” Why Did I Get Married? franchise star Tasha Smith wrote. “You looking goooooodt.”

Andrew Gillum Says He Is A Bisexual Man!
Former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum revealed in a national interview that he identifies as bisexual.
“I don’t identify as gay,” Gillum said, “but I do identify as bisexual. And that is something I have never shared publicly before.”
Gillum sat down for an interview with Tamron Hall in which he discussed at length an incident in a Miami hotel room where he was found, drunk and nude, in the same place where an acquaintance was being treated for a drug overdose.

That news, while largely overshadowed at the time by the burgeoning COVID-19 pandemic, appeared to derail the political future of a one of the state’s biggest Democratic stars. Gillum in 2018 surprised many long-time observers to secure the Democratic nomination in a crowded field and drew national attention as the first Black nominee for Florida Governor for a major party.
Even after he lost the election, some questioned if he was considering a run for President. But since entering rehab immediately after the Miami incident, he’s largely pulled back from public view completely.

Hall devoted the full hour of the season premiere of the “Tamron Hall Show” to the interview with Gillum and wife, R. Jai Gillum.
She did ask Gillum in the interview if he still envisioned running for office ever again.
“Would it be hard? Absolutely,” Gillum said. “But Donald Trump is President.” He suggested if many politicians hold office despite making scandalous assertions about their own sex lives while completely sober, he may yet come back from the Miami incident.
That evening at the Mondrian South Beach Hotel took up much of the interview with Hall, but Gillum also discussed turbulence in his life leading to that night.

In the hour, Gillum revealed that after his close loss to Ron DeSantis in the 2018 gubernatorial race, he began drinking heavily, including putting whiskey in his morning coffee.
He refused direction from R. Jai to seek counseling for depression, and revealed he struggled with his family life at home.

“She barely can abide me, I barely can abide her,” Gillum said of his marriage at the time. “Everything the kids do irritates me.”
In March, he went to Miami ahead of his wife to attend a wedding where he was to officiate, but ended up with an acquaintance he’d known a matter of months, he said. That friend was presumably Travis Dyson.
While Gillum described that person initially as a friend, he said he’d only known the individual for a matter of months and had discussed his run for Governor. Media reports later identified Dyson as a male escort known in Miami.

Gillum said he was drinking before connecting with his friend, and was drinking in the hotel room before blacking out for three hours. He said he still has no memory of most of the night, and woke up to be surrounded by police and being told his friend overdosed.
Gillum had ignored about 50 phone calls from his wife at that time, R. Jai told Hall.
Gillum said he is fully aware of speculation he was in a sexual relationship with Dyson. But he said there was no romantic relationship with his friend.

“The reason why I went to that room is probably no different than how somebody might communicate with someone they are in a friendship, relationship, whatever with,” he said. “I understand very well what people assume about that.”
Gillum made clear he did not participate in a “sex orgy,” as suggested by conservative blogger Candace Owens when she published police reports about the incident on Twitter.
Addressing a photo published later that showed Gillum nude on the floor of the hotel, Gillum told Hall: “That was not anything more than a person being at their most vulnerable state, unconscious, having given no consent, and someone decided to use a moment where I was literally lying in my own vomit,” he said.

“Everyone believes the absolute worst about that day. At this stage, I don’t have anything else to have to conceal.”

Hall raised the topic of Gillum’s sexuality, but said she was remiss to ask a question because being gay would not disqualify a politician from office.
Gillum circled back to that however, and made clear he identifies as bisexual.
R. Jai revealed she knew of Gillum’s sexuality before they wed. She never felt it was a matter that should be discussed with the public. That’s in part because of a poor understanding of bisexuality.
“Many people just don’t understand bisexuality,” she said. “They think they can wrap their heads around gay, but bisexuality is something different.”

Gillum said police drove him from the scene and he initially thought he would be taken to the police station as a witness to a crime. Instead, he ended up at his own hotel, where R. Jai had arrived and was sleeping. He told her about some of the events of the evening, at least what he recalled at the time. R. Jai recalled calling him “reckless.”

The couple also disclosed that their marriage had been in trouble well before the incident, and Gillum said both “gave up on each other” in July. R. Jai recalled feeling the one bright side to her husband losing the Governor’s race was she would get her husband back in day-to-day life but that didn’t happen.
Gillum also discussed his family history with drinking; his father was an alcoholic. At low stages after the election, Gillum said he was drinking whiskey secretly with his morning coffee.

'Big Brother' Star Nicole Franzel Dropped by Sponsor for Mocking Co-Star!
Nicole Franzel is facing some big repercussions.
The 28-year-old reality TV star faced backlash for mocking co-star Ian Terry, who opened up about being on the autism spectrum.
A Twitter user shared a story about the controversy,” with another tagging all of her Instagram sponsors, writing “They need to see this!”

Skincare company Olay quickly responded.
“Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We no longer have a business relationship with this person and have no plans for future work together. We have zero-tolerance for bullying and we do not support the behavior displayed by this person.”
Chateau Ste. Michelle was also tagged and responded.
“Our connection with Nicole was made prior to her joining the current show. We took immediate action to review once we learned of the situation & have thus decided to end our collaboration now and in the future. We do not tolerate or condone discrimination or bullying of any kind.”

If you missed it, in an unaired clip from Big Brother: All-Stars, Nicole Franzel and others were criticized for mocking Ian’s “rocking.”

Kelly Clarkson Opens Up About Her Divorce: 'My Life Has Been A Little Bit Of A Dumpster'!
Kelly Clarkson is the queen of the breakup anthem. It’s no surprise, then that the “Since U Been Gone” singer is getting candid about her own recent split.
In June, the former American Idol champ filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock after nearly seven years of marriage; Clarkson cited “irreconcilable differences” in the filing. Now the 38-year-old — who shares two children, 6-year-old River Rose and 4-year-old Remington, with Blackstock — is opening up about the split in a new interview with Sunday TODAY.

"I mean, it's no secret," she told Willie Geist on NBC’s Sunday morning news show. "My life has been a little bit of a dumpster ... personally, it's been a little hard the last couple months.
"I've been talking to friends that have been through divorce. I don't know how people go through that without having some kind of outlet because it is the worst thing ever for everyone involved."
Her relationship woes have helped inspire her next album, out next year. Clarkson says that pouring her heart out through music has been “very therapeutic.”

“This'll probably be the most personal one I've ever released," she told Geist of the album. "And the whole record is basically every emotion you experience from the beginning of a relationship to the end of what it is now or where it is now, and it's been very therapeutic for me."
Her son and daughter are already fans — though the talk show host admits to feeling “weird” about them singing along to songs about her marriage to their father, whom she wed in 2013.

"It's very honest,” she shared. “There's one that my kids sing in the car. I'm going through mixes, and I'm just, like, 'This is weird.' Like, it's your relationship. I've never written about my life to where my kids are singing along."
Clarkson — who thanked her ex in her Daytime Emmy acceptance speech this summer — also addressed her split in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, explaining that she’s being reticent out of respect for her children and Blackstock’s two older children from a previous relationship.

“I am a very open person, but I’m not going to be able to be truly open about this in certain aspects because there’s kids involved,” she told the newspaper.
"I think that I will navigate a way in which to be open and honest about it eventually, probably via [her talk show'], and it’ll probably, I’m assuming, happen organically when someone says something in conversation or something. It definitely wouldn’t be planned.

“But my children and his older children — there are a lot of little hearts involved in this and while people feel, ‘Oh my gosh, what a loss,’ imagine how it is in the epicenter of the storm. It’s a lot to process and deal with, just as a family. So because it’s not just me, I probably won’t go too deep with it.”

Kim Kardashian Responds to Criticism Over Her New Maternity Collection!
Kim Kardashian's new SKIMS collection has people buzzing and it hasn't even released yet.
After hearing the online chatter, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star responded to the criticism surrounding her upcoming maternity line with a series of tweets.
"To anyone who has an issue with maternity solutionwear, and if you haven't been pregnant before you may not know the struggle of what it's like carrying all of this weight the way I did along with millions of strong women, @skims maternity line is not to slim but to support," she began.
"The belly part doesn't slim your belly," she clarified about the new collection. "It's actually sheer and a thinner layered material compared to the rest of the garment. It provides support to help with the uncomfortable weight being carried in your stomach which affects your lower back -and the compression on the leggings helps with pain relief caused by swelling."

The reality TV personality noted that people can wear the new shapewear even after giving birth, saying it "provides the comfort and support that most women need after delivery especially if you are recovering from a cesarean."
"We launched this category in response to the tens of thousands of pregnant women who wrote us requesting it and because it was something I personally needed when I was pregnant myself," she explained.

In closing, she wrote, "Based on the majority of positive feedback we have received so far from pregnant women around the world, I am incredibly proud to provide a solution that will provide comfort and support during the times that we all need it most, during pregnancy and after."
"What you've been waiting for: @SKIMS Maternity is coming soon," she captioned her Twitter post. "Introducing Maternity Solutionwear that offers the best in comfort & support for your changing body during & after pregnancy."

Kim also revealed the line will be available in a variety of colors and sizes, including XXS-5X. Following the announcement, however, followers had mixed feelings about it.
One Twitter user replied, "Excuse my ignorance but who's trynna shape their pregnant bodies? Y'all don't like being comfy and free and loose when pregnant? It's pretty much the only time you can be as shapeless and free and comfy as you want!"
Another person said, "I'm sure that's the one thing pregnant women need above all! Being pressed to a slimmer figure..."
Someone else responded, "Slimming" pregnancy? Okay then.... In a Society of females who aren't confident enough in their natural bodies. Let's make the most natural part of us covered up."
However, a few Twitter users shared their excitement over the upcoming maternity collection. One person commented, "Omg good to know! I would have loved these during my pregnancy. Now I can get these for my sister and friends when they have kids."

Another added, "damn wish I would've had this while I was pregnant it would've made me feel like my tummy had so much support."
One user pointed out that this concept has been around. As they put it, "Sorry ladies but shape wear for pregnant women is not a new thing. They sell them at maternity shops all over. I wore one through both of my pregnancy. It held my baby belly up while wearing dresses."

On Sept. 1, the star's SKIMS brand celebrated a major milestone: Its one-year anniversary.

TikTok Reaches Deal With Oracle, Rejects Microsoft As White House Deadline Nears!
TikTok has reached an agreement to partner with software giant Oracle, a landmark deal that could redefine how the U.S. and China square off over the reach of their homegrown technology companies.
The deal, which was confirmed Sunday by a source with direct knowledge, comes after the Trump administration pressured TikTok to sell its U.S. business over concerns about the threat to national security. The administration alleged that the company's ties to China through its parent company, ByteDance, meant it would have to hand over data about Americans if asked by China's government. TikTok has denied that it would hand over data, which it stressed is stored outside China.
The source would not detail which parts of the technology were being taken over by Oracle, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment Sunday. Microsoft had been considered a front-runner to buy TikTok US until this weekend. Microsoft said earlier that ByteDance had alerted the company that it was passing on its proposal.

ByteDance and Oracle still face several hurdles in completing a deal. First, they will need to win approval from the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, or CFIUS, an interagency group that is tasked with overseeing foreign investments in the U.S. A source familiar with the negotiations said both parties believed their deal was structured to satisfy all of the committee's national security concerns. Even then, the deal still remains vulnerable to the larger geopolitical tensions between Washington and Beijing, and both governments could move to scuttle a deal if they deemed it politically advantageous.

TikTok spokesperson Hilary McQuaide declined to comment, saying the company would not comment "on rumors or speculation."

The short-form video app burst into popular culture in the past few years, becoming one of the few recent social media upstarts to offer a credible rival to U.S. giants like Facebook and Snapchat. The app, which gives users the ability to create short videos matched to sound or music, has created its own generation of celebrities and countless dance trends.
But its ties to China emerged in the past year as a quiet point of contention in Washington. In November, TikTok was mentioned as a national security threat, and the U.S. government opened an investigation. Since then, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said the U.S. was "looking at" banning the app, and President Donald Trump has threatened to do so several times.
"There's a bit of a reciprocity process going on here, since China doesn't allow U.S. tech companies like Facebook and Google," said Paul Triolo, head of global technology policy at the Eurasia Group. "All of these actions are part of an effort by China hawks in the U.S. government to push for this decoupling, which includes a whole range of issues but has sort of crystallized in the last three to six months into this view that Chinese companies are untrusted vendors."

On Aug. 6, Trump signed an executive order banning U.S. companies from doing business with ByteDance and alleging that the app poses risks that amount to a "national emergency."
The order states that the app, which is reported to have been downloaded 175 million times in the U.S., captures "vast swaths" of information and "threatens to allow" Chinese government officials to track Americans.

TikTok repeatedly denied the allegations. It said that its U.S. user data is stored in the U.S. and that only a backup exists in Singapore. It also said its data centers are outside China, which suggests the data is not subject to Chinese authority.
"The U.S. government is forcing one of China's most successful global media companies to sell under a less than ideal time frame, and China is trying to avoid having this set a precedent," Triolo said. "The TikTok ban has to be viewed as part of this longer-term effort by the U.S. to police the boundaries of its technology ecospheres with China."

While cybersecurity experts note that China's laws enable its government to pressure companies like ByteDance to provide access to user information, they say there is no evidence that has happened to date. In addition, many American and other international companies have access to similar amounts of user data.
The executive order set a deadline of Tuesday to finalize a sale. After then, TikTok would essentially be cut off in the U.S., based on the terms of the order.

Walmart has also expressed interest in investing in TikTok and said in a statement Sunday that it is continuing discussions with ByteDance leadership.
TikTok sued the U.S. government last month, challenging the executive order and alleging that it was deprived of due process when the administration issued the ban. The suit also alleges that the government failed to provide evidence that TikTok was actually a national security threat. It was thought that the lawsuit might be able to push back the ban, which would allow TikTok more time to secure a deal.

As the company sells its U.S. business to Oracle, it is also undergoing internal change.

Nick Cannon Wants to Have A Sit Down With Eminem To Squash Their Beef!
Question for the people, would y’all be willing to sit down with someone who publicly tried to blast you?
Well, Nick Cannon has been going through some things, first, it was his termination as host of Wild N’ Out after he offended the Jewish community, and now it looks like he’s open to making amends with rapper Eminem.
On Monday, Wild’N out creator sat down with Fat Joe for a lengthy interview on Instagram. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s well known that Eminem and Cannon have had their odds, but during the interview, Cannon admitted that he would be open to letting bygones be bygones. “One day, hopefully, dude, and I will get an opportunity to sit down, ‘cause like I said, I do respect his ability.”
Joe said he would even be willing to mediate the talk between the two men. “If you can do it, man,” Nick responded. “I been trying to get…I done talked to Royce, we trying to really get it popping, ’cause I think at the end two men need to really have that conversation.”

“While you at it, tell him to come…we’ll set up an exclusive Wild’n Out Detroit,” Nick added.
Cannon and Slim Shady’s beef has lasted over a decade and started after Slim called out Nick and former wife Mariah Carey in his 2009 song “Bagpipes from Bagdad. He then reignited their beef in 2019 on the Fat Joe track “Lord Above” where he narrowed in on Cannon. Nick then returned with a series of diss tracks and even mentioned 50 Cent.

In April, Cannon said Em knows better than to speak on him.
What are your thoughts? Should they make peace or keep the beef?

'Fast and Furious 9' Will Reportedly Head to Space According to Michelle Rodriguez!
Cars technically cannot go into outer space, but the laws of physics never stopped the Fast & Furious movies from pulling off crazy stunts. One crazy stunt that might make it into F9 will take Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto into outer space, according to franchise star Michelle Rodriguez. During a recent SiriusXM interview, Rodriguez appeared to confirm a rumor sparked by Ludacris.

Last week, Rodriguez stopped by SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show, where she was asked about the space rumors. "Oh, no way," Rodriguez said, via Collider. "How did you guys find that out? See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man. When a movie doesn’t come out and forget about it, things get out. Nobody was supposed to know that."

Rodriguez has played Letty Ortiz in five Fast & Furious movies and returned for the ninth. She went on to tell the show hosts that she is not among the castmembers going into space. "I’m not, I’m not, I’m not lucky enough to hit space, but we did get a female writer and showed a lot of love, I think, on this one," she said. "Thanks to... [director] Justin Lin. We were able... to find a little bit more attention and love for the girls in the movie. And so I’m really hopeful that that, that shows through in the final product."

Back in May 2019, Rodriguez confirmed she would be in F9 after successfully convincing Universal to bring on a female writer to work on the franchise. During a Bloomberg event, she said Universal Pictures executive Donna Langley agreed there had to be a female perspective. She "came on board at the studio, and agreed to have that female voice on board so the guys aren't basically interpreting that female voice on paper," Rodriguez said of Langley.

Unfortunately, fans will not get to see how Dominic and his family can get around space in a car for a long time. F9 was originally set to come out this year, but it was pushed back to April 2, 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Other members of the cast include Tyrese Gibson, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.

If there is a space scene, it seems very unlikely that anything was shot outside Earth's atmosphere. Tom Cruise is trying to do just that though with one of his next projects. In May, it was reported that he plans to team up with Elon Musk's SpaceX to make it happen. Doug Liman, who worked with Cruise on Edge of Tomorrow, has reportedly been hired to direct the project.

Georgia Deputy Fired After Brutal Beating Of Unarmed Black Man!
A sheriff’s deputy in suburban Atlanta has been fired after viral videos showed two officers pinning down an unarmed Black man while one punches him in the face repeatedly.
According to CNN, Roderick Walker and two others were cruising in a ride-share vehicle was stopped by Clayton County sheriff’s deputies because of a “taillight violation.” The deputy reportedly asked Walker to produce his driver’s license, although he was a passenger, not the driver. When Walker reportedly asked the officers why he needed to show his ID when he did nothing wrong, the situation quickly escalated and the officers demanded that he step out of the vehicle.

The disturbingly violent encounter was captured by at least two people nearby. The videos show a deputy repeatedly punching Walker in the face, drawing blood that streamed down the side of his face. The unnamed officer claims Walker bit him.
A person who identifies herself as Walker’s cousin, Zippora Dunlap, posted one video on her Facebook page, while another person by the handle of @jah.vis posted another angle of the arrest on his Instagram page.
Walker is currently being held without bond in the Clayton County Jail on two counts of battery and two counts of obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.
Sheriff Victor Hill of Clayton County, Georgia, south of Atlanta, announced that an internal investigation has been opened on the unnamed deputies involved. The deputy depicted punching Walker multiple times on video was initially placed on leave without pay. The combined weight of the two officers on Walker, rendered him unconscious as his girlfriend and child screamed for officers to stop beating him, WSB-TV reported.

“After being made aware of a video posted on social media involving a Deputy using physical force on a man, Sheriff Victor Hill ordered his entire Internal Affairs Unit to come in and begin an investigation that has been on going since 8 pm (Friday),” the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Saturday that was obtained by CNN.

The deputy who was placed on leave on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, was fired on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, the sheriff announced on Twitter.
No word yet if the ongoing investigation will result in criminal charges filed against the fired deputy, WSB-TV states.
Georgia NAACP lawyer Gerald Griggs demands that Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill resign and that the two officers involved in Walker’s savagely violent beatdown be terminated.  Griggs also demands that District Attorney Tasha Mosley drop all of the charges against Walker. A protest rally was scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Clayton County Jail.

“It’s time for the law to work for Brown and Black citizens the way it works for White citizens,” Griggs said.

'THE HINEY TROLL'
I’m okay with the compromise of not making people wear masks in public but they just have to wear this shirt. Everyone wins.
