Calvin Klein Debuts New Campaign Featuring the Men of Moonlight!

Calvin Klein unveiled its Spring 2017 men’s underwear campaign, which the brand dubbed “Revelation,” following Sunday night’s Academy Awards. It stars the men from best picture winner Moonlight including Mahershala Ali, Alex Hibbert, Ashton Sanders and Trevante Rhodes.
Photographer Willy Vanderperre shot the movie’s stars for the ads, which come after Raf Simons took over as Calvin Klein’s creative director. The work features the typically revealing underwear shots Calvin Klein is known for as well as more nuanced portraits of the actors.
“Even after the performance is over, I realize that you still have to service it,” said Mahershala Ali, who won best supporting actor for his role in the film, in a statement posted on Calvin Klein’s site. “I’ll be in a coffee shop and someone will come up to me and just open a vein … telling me how this struck a nerve for them, what their experience was. And I really try to be present for that. I’m really thankful for that.”
The brand explained in its post touting the new ads that they’re a celebration of “[h]ow radical an act it is to reveal oneself to another so candidly, so clearly, that it strikes a nerve. When so much out in the world would threaten us—bodily, psychologically, scaring us inside of ourselves to seek shelter within—merely showing oneself, unguarded, can be heroic.”
The post continues: “For these four phenomenal actors—Mahershala, as well as breakout newcomers Alex Hibbert, Ashton Sanders and Trevante Rhodes—whose profoundly brave performances made Moonlight this year’s tour de force movie, finding their voice on-screen was just the beginning. With the attention and opportunities that will now come their way, Mahershala, Alex, Ashton and Trevante can properly announce themselves to the world. This is their time to step into the light.”
A rep for Calvin Klein did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

#RHoA: Porsha Williams Thinks Kandi Burruss “Made A Big Deal Out Of Something So Small” When They Discussed The Undercover Lesbian Rumors.
Porsha shared her latest thoughts in her weekly Bravo blog entry. When Porsha was asked about that heated lunch with Kandi she had a lot to say. Porsha claimed, “I was shocked and appalled. My intentions were not to make matters worse but to let her know that the statements the ‘Bone Collector’ made were shade and were misinterpreted and embellished when reported to the other ladies.” Does Porsha not watch this show? We all saw the conversation go down. Sheree may be a shit stirrer, but she’s not a liar (at least in this instance).
Porsha added, “Interestingly enough, while the ‘Bone Collector’ was spilling all her tea, she forgot to mention that she spoke of the closet first.” Yet, Porsha has no mention of Phaedra being the one who turned the conversation from a vague discussion to a very specific one about Kandi, Shamea, and Todd Tucker. But yeah, I don’t blame Porsha for being upset at Sheree. Yeah, Porsha was the one spreading rumors and she was going to get her ass handed to her anyway, but still, Sheree is constantly stirring things up this season and claiming that she just wants everyone to know the truth. As a viewer, I’m living for it, but as one of her friends I would be very scared to talk in her presence.
Porsha continued, “I have no idea why Kandi made such a big deal out of something so small! She knows she has been plagued with these accusations and much worse for years.” I feel like no one who is married wants other people to talk about them having an affair. At the very least, all of the sex talk is very much on-brand for the Bedroom Kandi entrepreneur. So maybe it’s helping out her empire?
Porsha alleged, “My intentions in meeting her were to simply make sure she understood that in no way did I spill the beans on her.” I’m gonna have to call BS on that one. Porsha doesn’t really have much of a story line this season (or any other season) so I’m sure that she was pumped to rile Kandi up at this lunch. I don’t really see how talking about Todd going by “Marvin” to get away with cheating on Kandi falls in line with Porsha’s innocence act here. Porsha continued, “But once I got there, she was angry and confrontational and forced my hand! Kandi called me an aggressive lesbian first, then got mad when her true tea was served at lunch!”
Porsha had a lot of confusing meals during that last episode. Aside from her heated lunch with Kandi, Porsha also met up with her boyfriend/non-boyfriend/possibly future baby daddy Todd. I had no idea what Porsha was looking for there. It seemed like the more Todd showed that he was really down to be with her, the more she wasn’t into it, but then they also kissed so I really have no idea what to make of the whole thing.
When she was asked how she felt “after the conversation with Todd,” Porsha said, “Todd is a great guy, and I feel like from time to time you just have to get real and give men tough love. Everything I said to him came from my heart, and whether we are together or not in the future, I want nothing but the best for him!” I don’t even have an opinion on that. I feel like this poor dude was just on the show so Porsha could think out loud about the possibility of having a baby. Then after one affectionate Instagram went up of the two of them, he chose Porsha over his job without consulting her and it just doesn’t seem like the best decision to make over someone you’re not even officially dating.

Trey Songz Releases New Song & Video, “Playboy”
Trey Songz is back with the second release from his “Tremaine the Playboy” series, and forthcoming new album Tremaine.
As he plans to do each week, the R&B heartthrob has released a visual for the song from the latest episode in his “dating” show. Aptly titled, “Playboy,” the sexy slow jam finds Trigga questioning his lifestyle, and why he hasn’t settled down yet.
“Don’t know why I’m still kissing girls that I don’t love / Still stumbling out of these clubs / Still I’m just so hard to trust / Don’t know why I’m still a playboy,” he sings while dining with the cast of beautiful girls. “So many girls that I can’t count,” he later sings while taking a bubble bath with the Kelly twins.
During his recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Trey revealed that the show was never intended to be taken as a real life dating show, but a way to market his new music in a clever manner. Each week, Songz will release a new song off his next album Tremaine (due out March 24), along with an episode of “Tremaine the Playboy.”

Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma’s beef is spilling over into The Game’s feud with Meek Mill.
Over the weekend, Hot 97/Beats 1 host Ebro Darden posted a video meme of Remy Ma brutally murdering Nicki Minaj. According to the Compton MC, who shared a screenshot of the post, Meek liked the clip.
“This the type of hoe shit I hate,” he wrote. “This lil bitch @meekmill aka Meesha salty cause his woman left em. Instead of being a REAL NI**A & leaving the situation with ya head up standing tall, you in ya feelings so you get her house robbed & do fuck ni**a shit fronting for the followers she gave you… liking pictures & leaving comments on posts that disrespect the woman who gave you life, actually loved yo dusty ass, bought you shit you couldn’t ever afford on yo own & even stood by your side when Drizzy bodied you.. instead of leaving yo bum ass like she should’ve, she held yo skinny rat face havin ass down !!!

Game’s Meek feud has simmered for quite some time. Last year, he called Mill a rat for allegedly saying he was involved in a Sean Kingston robbery. The beef popped off, including diss tracks from both sides. “It’s just a little hip-hop beef,” Game said at the time. “We haven’t had a fight yet. It’s not a fight. It’s just hip-hop…It comes down to a point where, you’ve gotta deal with it as it comes. I feel like I was violated.”
In October, the beef ended, according to Rick Ross. Now, it looks like it’s back on.

Early this month Beyonce spilled her own damn tea and confirm she is pregnant with twins.
Now according to Page Six Beyonce and Jay Z will find out the sex of their twins.
Beyoncé was overheard telling guests at a pre-Oscars bash on Saturday night that she and Jay Z will know the genders of their expected twins “in two weeks,” sources exclusively tell Page Six.
“She was telling people they’ll know the genders of the babies in two weeks,” said a source at the party, where Beyoncé and her hip-hop mogul hubby were surprise guests.
Beyoncé announced earlier this month that the couple’s expecting twins. However, no due date’s been announced.
Migos Sued For Allegedly Stealing $20K Worth Of Wardrobe Items From Video Shoot
Someone has some explaining to do…
The Atlanta rap group Migos is reportedly being sued by a stylist for lifting nearly $20K in clothing and accessories after a video shoot. And, that’s not all! The stylist wants more than $1 million in damages.
TMZ states that the trio allegedly took items from the set of Niykee Heaton’s ‘Bad Intentions’ video filmed last year in California. Marcus Clark claims that Migos took 3 Enfants Riches Déprimés shirts priced at $18,138 and 2 pairs of vintage sunglasses (Versace and Les Copains) priced at $700.
The stylist also alleges that despite reaching out to the rap group about retrieving his property several times, the only thing he received was a text from Migos’ manager saying, “That’s over wit.”
Hopefully, Migos can settle this suit before going to court. If the stylist’s claims are true, these guys are definitely not hurting when it comes to money. They’re infamous for flaunting stacks of cash everywhere they go.
'The Voice' 2017: Season 12's Celeb Mentors Revealed!
The upcoming 12th season of The Voice is premiering tonight and NBC has announced the stars set to be guest mentors to the contestants!
Once the four coaches – Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams – have formed their teams, they will be joined by the guest advisors for the battle rounds.
The mentors for each of the teams feels very fitting this year. Sometimes in the past, the choices didn’t fit the coaches too well, but these are some great pairings!
U.S. State Department Deletes Tweet Congratulating Iranian Director After ‘Salesman’ Oscar Win
On Monday, the U.S. State Department tweeted, and then deleted, a congratulatory message to director Asghar Farhadi, whose film The Salesman won the Oscar for Best Foreign-Language film at the 89th Academy Awards.
The message was shared by the State Department’s official Persian-language Twitter account, @USAdarFarsi, congratulating the Iranian people and Farhadi for his win at Sunday’s ceremony. According to reports, the tweet was posted at 1 A.M. ET, but later deleted.
“A congratulatory tweet was posted,” a State Department spokeswoman said. “We later removed the post to avoid any misperception that the USG (U.S. government) endorsed the comments made in the acceptance speech.”
A second spokesperson stated that the decision to take down the tweet was made within the department.
The Iranian director was not in attendance, instead boycotting the ceremony in protest of Trump’s executive order to temporary ban citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries, which was blocked by federal courts.
Iranian-American engineer Anousheh Ansari and former NASA scientist Firouz Naderi, accepted the award on Farhadi’s behalf and read a statement written by the director.
“My absence is out of respect for the people of my country and those of other six nations whom have been disrespected by the inhumane law that bans entry of immigrants to the U.S.,” read Ansari. “Dividing the world into the ‘us’ and ‘our enemies’ categories creates fear, a deceitful justification for aggression and war. These wars prevent democracy and human rights in countries which themselves have been victims of aggression. Filmmakers can turn their cameras to capture shared human qualities and break stereotypes of various nationalities and religions. They create empathy between us and others; an empathy which we need today more than ever.
Farhadi recently made appearances via video, including at last week’s UTA rally and this evening’s UK premiere of The Salesman in Trafalgar Square. Ahead of the 2017 Oscars, the six nominated directors in the Foreign-Language category released a joint statement expressing their “emphatic disapproval of the climate of fanaticism and nationalism we see today in the U.S. and in so many other countries.” They stated that whoever won the Academy Award, “we refuse to think in terms of borders.”
