Vivica Fox Graces Sheen Magazine & Shares Her Dream Of Directing The REAL Whitney Houston Story
According to the magazine, the timeless issue celebrates “Black Power Excellence” with actress, producer, and director, Vivica revealing the magic to her success, her exciting directorial debut, inspirations, and how she still manages to stay on top after two decades, as one of the most sought after business women in entertainment.
Inside her cover story, Vivica talks about her directorial debut and her dreams of directing the real Whitney Houston story.
“I just did my directorial debut. I directed a video for a new client that I’m working with name — Thomas Hobbs called ‘We On.’ But in the future, I’d love to direct bigger projects, either television or movies. My two dream roles I’d love to do is direct the real Whitney Houston story, and I also want to work with Quentin Tarantino again and do what he did for Pam Grier with the movie Jackie Brown.”

#RHoA: NeNe Leakes Buys Son Brentt A New Jeep For His 18th Birthday
When normal children get a car for their 18th birthday, it’s usually some hand-me-down, but when a Real Housewife – particularly a very rich bitch like NeNe Leakes – buys her child a car, it’s a BRAND NEW JEEP!
The forever Real Housewives Of Atlanta star’s son Brentt just turned 18, and that was cause for some high dollar celebration from NeNe and Gregg. Apparently it was motivation for that bigger milestone: high school graduation!
I dunno – maybe NeNe did hand over a hand me down car, since Brentt’s new Jeep looks remarkably similar to the one Kim Zolciak‘s daughter Brielle just sold! The “dream car,” which Brielle got for her 18th birthday from her adoring parents (she’s since upgraded to something even more fancy).
“He cried like a baby His fav car on the road and he had no idea,” NeNe added.
Brentt also thanked his parents on Instagram, writing, “Its my Birthday! I wanna thank my parents for getting me the greatest gift in the world. I love yall so much. Couldn’t ask for anything better.”

‘Hidden Figures’ Director On Taraji P. Henson Snub: ‘It’s Disappointing’
Taraji P. Henson turned in one of the best performances this year in “Hidden Figures,” the true story about the black women who were an integral part of NASA’s early space program. Alongside Octavia Spencer and Janelle Mon谩e, Henson effectively carries the film as physicist and mathematician Katherine Johnson.
But while the film has received many accolades this awards season, including a SAG award for the cast, some have questioned why Henson did not receive acting nominations at the two of the biggest awards ceremonies of the year: the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards.
Ted Melfi, director of the Oscar-nominated “Hidden Figures,” said that while he was “disappointed” to see Henson receive no major actor noms, he believes the snubs are probably a result of Hollywood politics ― not Henson’s talent.
“Yeah, I was disappointed,” Melfi told The Huffington Post. “But the way it runs is you’ve got to get out there, working the campaign trail. I mean, that’s what I’ve been told ― this is the first time I’ve been through this.”
According to Melfi, Taraji working 17-hour days on the set of “Empire” during awards campaign season probably factored into her lack of big nominations.
“Taraji is on a series... She’s working her butt off on her show constantly. She’s done everything she possibly can to support [the film]. She’s amazing. But at the end of the day, she has a full time job.”
Still, while Henson will not be up for an Oscar at this Sunday’s ceremony, the director believes that her work speaks for itself.
“I think her work in ‘Hidden Figures’ is stunning, and groundbreaking,” Melfi says.
“Anyone who could watch her on ‘Empire’ as Cookie and then see her in [’Hidden Figures’] and not think she’s one of the greatest actresses around ― I just don’t understand that.”
“Hidden Figures” will compete for three awards at the Oscars on Feb. 26, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress for Octavia Spencer.
Music News: Chris Brown Announces “The Party Tour” With 50 Cent, French Montana, Fabolous & More
Chris Brown is keeping the party going.
Named after his Usher and Gucci Mane-assisted single “Party,” the R&B superstar has announced the star-studded “Party Tour” featuring 50 Cent, French Montana, Fabolous, O.T. Genasis, Kap G, and Casanova.
The “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer put on a similar event with his “One Hell of a Nite Tour,” which toured North America and Europe between 2015-2016 and included guests such as French Montana, Migos, Fetty Wap, Omarion, and Kid Ink.
Brown is expected to release his eighth studio album, reportedly called Heartbreak on a Full Moon, later this year.

French Montana makes fans say “Hold Up” by enlisting Chris Brown and Migos for his latest single and its concert-themed music video.
The Coke Boy boss opens the clip with his guests as part of his tour bus entourage. Dressed in all black, Montana raps about dirty Sprite, Ciroc, and that “work.”
Donning a classic Jerry Rice jersey, Brown dances throughout the clip. Meanwhile, the Migos bounce around him, ad-libbing and rapping all over the bus and backstage at a concert.

Comedian Mike Epps arrested in New Orleans for attacking a fan…

Actor and comedian Mike Epps was arrested along with another man for allegedly attacking a tourist at Harrah’s Casino early Saturday, New Orleans police said.
Court records show that both failed to appear for an arraignment in Municipal Court on Tuesday. Attachments have been issued for their arrest.
Epps, who is best known for his roles in “The Hangover” and “Next Friday,” is accused of striking a Virginia man who was visiting town for the NBA All-Star Game. Police allege that he was joined in the attack by Thomas Cobb, 52, of Brooklyn.
Epps and Cobb were both booked on municipal counts of battery and released on $1,000 bail each.

Steven Spielberg's Mother Leah Adler Dies at 97
Steven Spielberg is mourning the death of his mother Leah Adler, who passed away at the age of 97.
Leah died on Tuesday (February 21) at her home in Los Angeles with her children by her side, according to Variety.
Early on in life, Leah developed a passion for music and studied at the Music Conservatory in Cincinnati.
After remarrying in the 1960s, Leah eventually moved to Los Angeles and opened the kosher restaurant The Milky Way on Pico Blvd.
Leah is survived by four children, 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. We send our thoughts and condolences to her loved ones during this difficult time.
