Alicia Keys Wears Makeup in an Editorial Shoot for Allure!
She’s looking on the bright side! Alicia Keys wore electric eyeshadow and liner for her February 2017 cover story in Allure magazine — her first time wearing cosmetics in an editorial photo shoot since last spring, according to the publication.
The “In Common” singer, who announced her plan to go bare-faced in a May 2016 Lenny Letter, appeared to go without cosmetics on the cover of the issue, where she posed in an Alexander Wang bikini top layered over a Max Mara long-sleeve shirt, jewelry by Paula Mendoza and Esteban Cortazar and one of her own headscarves. But in images within the issue (and seen on allure.com), the 15-time Grammy Award winner enlisted longtime makeup artist Dotti to swipe on a thick teal cat eye in one shot, exaggerated black lines under her eye in another and streaks of vivid purple paint around her eyes in a final photo.
“I’m not a slave to makeup. I’m not a slave to not wearing makeup either,” Keys told writer David DeNicolo. “I get to choose at [any] given moment. That’s my right … I think makeup can be self-expression. I have no intention to shame anyone at all [who chooses to wear it]. No one should be ashamed by the way you choose to express yourself. And that’s exactly the point. However, if you want to do that for yourself, you should do that.”
The mom of two, who’s married to Swizz Beatz, also reflected on her reason for taking a break from the blush, lipstick and mascara. “I started at 20 years old in this ridiculously invasive world [the music business] in which everyone covered me in makeup and then threw me under tons of lights, so I’d sweat for two or three hours,” she said. “It took me so long to finally say, ‘Whoa! Who am I under there?’ That is just my own personal quest.”
#RHoA: NeNe Leakes Slams 'RHOA' Cast On Twitter
Uh-oh! It seems the latest “Real Housewives of Atlanta” episode did not sit well with NeNe Leakes, so the former cast member voiced out her disapproval on social media. Leakes’ fans also agree with what she said and are currently urging her to get back to the Bravo TV series to confront the current stars of the show.
On Monday, Leakes took to Twitter to post a single word that summarizes her reaction to the new “RHOA” episode that aired last Sunday. She wrote “LIESSSSSSSSSSS” on the social networking site sans an explanation regarding who or what she was referring to.
Leakes’ fans just read between the lines and concluded that the fashion designer and entrepreneur was referring to the things some of the housewives on the show said in the episode. One fan wrote that Marlo Hampton was “lame and bitter.” This is in reference to Hampton’s subtle diss aimed at Leakes when Kenya Moore chose to invite the latter and not her to her housewarming parties.
In the episode, Hampton said Moore's behavior was not acceptable. Hampton appeared to be annoyed that Leakes was invited to Moore’s parties, as pointed out by Daily Mail. On the other hand, Moore brushed off Marlo’s statement by telling her that it was “not a time to throw a hissy fit.”
Since this was not the first time that Leakes’ name got dragged into the storyline of the ongoing show despite her exit, many of her fans voiced out the need for the mom-of-two to make a comeback in the series. One fan wrote: “The thirst is Oh So Real. They just can’t get enough of them some NeNe juice.” Another chimed in: “You really need to come put these ladies in their place…”
Last month, Leakes threw some shade at Kandi Burruss for airing out Phaedra Parks’ dirty laundry on the TV series. She implied in a tweet that time that Burruss was lying, while she, on the other hand, “always tells the truth.”

Music News: The-Dream Announces “Love You To Death” Tour
The-Dream is taking the love show on the road.
After releasing his Love You to Death EP in December, the R&B singer/songwriter has announced an eight-city tour slated to kick off next month.
The “Love You to Death Tour” is set to launch Feb. 13 in Seattle. Then, he’ll spend Valentine’s Day in San Francisco before continuing the jaunt through Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago, and New York, with a stop at the Soulquarius Festival on Feb. 18. The journey closes March 2 in Philadelphia.
“To all the fans that hit me and my staff and said in abundance to come to your City, I hear you,” he wrote. “I am here for you And nothing without your Voice and Energy.”
Along with this, King Dream announced that Radio Killa Records is “back fully operational.”
“[We] Have Artist on the Way because of YOU,” he wrote. “I don’t take any one fan for granted!”
The five-track EP Love You to Death was released last month as a precursor to this year’s Love Affair, which is due March 24.

Hip Hop News: Meek Mill Previews ‘DC4.5’
Nearly three months after unveiling DC4, Meek Mill is already previewing the follow-up, DC4.5.
Over a hard-hitting instrumental, a contemplative Mill reflects on his past. “We were poppin’ Bentley trucks on the corner of my ‘hood,” he says on the intro. “Welcome to Philadelphia.” Soon, the beat drops and an energetic Meek expands on his concept, rhyming about a “lot of money, lot of bad bitches,” and “lot of real ni**as.”
“It’s a must I strike again,” Meek captioned the video. “DC4 & A BABY!”
In November, Meek shared the cover art for DC4.5. It features a little boy — possibly a young Meek — sporting lots of jewelry. “YOUNGBULL WIT A DREAM,” he captioned the artwork. “#DC4.5 COVER ART DROPPING ANY DAY.” However, DC4.5 still has no release date.
Recently, Meek has been in the headlines for reasons outside of music. Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj confirmed that she was no longer dating the Philly star. Last week, Mill also said he would fight Drake for $5 million with Nicki as ring girl.

You can officially complete your Rihanna fragrance collection with the launch of the singer’s third scent from her RiRi collection. The 28-year-old announced her new Kiss fragrance on Jan. 16 with a gorgeous shot from the campaign.
“With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I got something special for my ladies,” Rihanna shared on Instagram. Following her RiRi by Rihanna and Crush by Rihanna scents, the “Love On The Brain” singer completed her collection with her latest Kiss by Rihanna fragrance.

Oh? ‘Atlanta’ Season 2 Delayed Until 2018
I’ve got bad news y’all! Four days after scooping the Golden Globe for Best Television Series, FX has announced season 2 of “Atlanta” will be delayed until 2018.
Donald Glover‘s production schedule is to blame.
Via Deadline:Glover, of course, has a big movie commitment, playing Lando Calrissian in the Han Solo Star Wars movie, which will film this year for a 2018 release. For Glover, that has been a dream role. “Lando’s a big deal to me,” he said at the Golden Globes on Sunday. “It was literally the first toy I ever got.”
At the Globes, Glover landed two awards as Atlanta won best comedy series and he was named best actor in a comedy series.
During the TCA executive session, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf said the network was “fully supportive” of Glover’s need to pull away from Atlanta to play Lando. “We are thrilled for him,” Landgraf said.
While I’m thrilled to see Donald Glover out here being bad and boujee, the news of this delay has me feeling like…
Welp. At least we know the show will return…someday.
Orlando Police Killer Captured and BEAT DOWN After Manhunt
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A suspect in the fatal shooting of an Orlando police officer was captured Tuesday after a weeklong manhunt, authorities said.
The Orlando Police Department tweeted Tuesday night that 41-year-old Markeith Loyd was in custody, ending a manhunt that began with the Jan. 9 fatal shooting of Lt. Debra Clayton outside a Wal-Mart store.
Local television stations showed Loyd had a bloodied face when a half-dozen officers and deputies took him into police headquarters.
Orlando Police Chief John Mina tweeted, “Captured and wearing Lt. Debra Clayton’s handcuffs.”
Before Clayton’s shooting, authorities had sought Loyd for questioning in the killing of his pregnant ex-girlfriend last month.
While at the store, Clayton was tipped off that Loyd was in the area. She approached him in the parking lot and he filed multiple shots at her. Clayton returned fire but didn’t hit him. She was wearing body armor, but was hit multiple times, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said.
A deputy then spotted Loyd fleeing in a vehicle and pursued him into a nearby apartment complex, where the suspect fired again, striking the deputy’s SUV twice but missing the deputy, the sheriff’s office said.
Loyd then carjacked another vehicle and fled, abandoning the second vehicle nearby another apartment complex, which was the focus of the manhunt initially, the sheriff’s office said.
A second law enforcement officer, Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy First Class Norman Lewis, was killed in a motorcycle crash after joining the massive manhunt.
Hundreds of officers and deputies have been searching for Loyd, and a $100,000 reward was being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
The U.S. Marshals Service had added Loyd to its list of most wanted fugitives Tuesday and added $25,000 to the reward offer.
Clayton, 42, was a “committed” officer and “a hero” who gave her life to the community she loves, her chief said. She was married and had a college-aged son. She also grew up in the Orlando area, and enjoyed mentoring young people.
“She was always the first to step up and help kids,” the chief said.
A 17-year veteran of the force, Clayton supervised a patrol division in the neighborhood where she was shot, and previously worked in investigations and as a school resource officer, Deputy Chief Orlando Rolon said.
“She made a point, even outside her working hours, to do things for youth and do things for the community,” Rolon said.
‘Moonlight’, Meryl Streep and Seth Meyers To Be Honored At LGBTQ Gala
Actress Meryl Streep, TV host Seth Meyers, and the Golden Globe-winning movie “Moonlight” will be honored next month by the Human Rights Campaign, the LGBTQ civil rights organization.
The award for “Moonlight,” a coming-of-age film about a black gay youth, will be accepted by Tarell Alvin McCraney, the author of the play on which the film is based.
Meyers, the host of “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on NBC, is being honored at the Feb. 11 gala for raising awareness about LGBTQ issues, including drawing attention to discriminatory legislation.
Streep, who gave an impassioned speech at the Golden Globes criticizing President-elect Donald Trump for mocking a disabled reporter and calling for the defense of a free press, will be honored for a career of advocating for LGBTQ equality.
Is Amal Clooney really PREGNANT?
Amal Clooney, whose star has had a meteoric rise since she met and married Hollywood star George Clooney, was one of those honored at a special dinner in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday.
The Lebanese-British barrister and her husband attended the Women Of Impact dinner hosted by Tina Brown during the World Economic Forum.
And Amal kept everyone guessing following rumors she's expecting a baby by donning a loose-fitting two-piece. Once again the 38-year-old eschewed the figure-hugging designer outfits she's paraded since tying the knot with her famous husband in 2014.
