In case you missed it, one dude is fed up with being compared to Idis Elba, so he posted this statement above, which set Black Twitter on fire. In response to the post, Idris, who covers the latest issue of UPTOWN Magazine, tweeted his own response....

Stars Step Out For The 2014 NAACP Image Awards
Gathering together for another thrilling award show, Hollywood's biggest names flocked to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium for the 2014 NAACP Image Awards
After showing off her amazing fashion sense on the red carpet, "12 Years a Slave" beauty Lupita Nyong'o added another piece of hardware to her already impressive collection taking home a trophy for Best Supporting Actress.
Before taking the stage, the gorgeous Lupita mingled with famous folks including a very pregnant Kerry Washington who showed off her baby bump in a stunning blue gown.
Other guests in attendance included the lovely Naomie Harris, Oprah Winfrey, Idris Alba, Brandy, Forest Whitaker and up-and-coming actor Michael B. Jordan.
Per the NAACP's website, "There is no other organization that has confronted the misuse of media to influence negative public attitudes toward race like the NAACP. As early as 1915, it organized a nationwide protest against the negative portrayals of African Americans in “Birth of A Nation.” The founding members of the Association immediately understood the power and influence of the then new media of film."

Earning knockout ratings for his first week as host of the new "Tonight Show," Jimmy Fallon's debut appearance raked in 8.490 million viewers, making it the franchise’s most-watched week in 20 years!
"The Tonight Show" has not seen such success since the finale of "Cheers," from May 17th-21st of 1993, bringing in 9.080 million, and all five telecasts have followed the Olympics presentations, with four of the five airing at midnight.
Friday night ended Jimmy's first week at the helm of "The Tonight Show" on a high note, and we can rest assured that more stars, more music, more laughs and higher ratings are in store!
Tom Ford Makes Official Dress Version Of Jay Z's Bootleg Shirt [PHOTOS]
Tom Ford dropped a homage to Jay Z in his fall/winter 2014 collection, the designer revealed a sequined jersey dress which is a take on the "knock off" (aka bootleg) shirt Hova was seen rocking at his concerts.
Jigga's version was a Black Boy Place shirt made for his Magna Carter World Tour.

Remember Jay-Z's "I don't pop Molly, I rock Tom Ford"–inspired football jersey, emblazoned with the designer's name, the year he was born ('61), and the word MOLLY struck through? Today in London, Ford unveiled what he's calling "a knock-off of the knock-off" — a sequined evening-dress version, completing his and Hova's circle of admiration.
The dress (or dresses — there was an orange version and a black version) almost stole all the attention at Ford's fall/winter 2014 show tonight. But there were other notable stars on the runway, namely Liberty Ross and Karen Elson. Stella Tennant was also on hand to close the show, pausing halfway back up the catwalk to pivot around for a final fierce pose. It was all nostalgic enough to make you dream that you were back at Gucci, circa 1997.
Rappers, this does not mean you should start rocking bootlegs in hopes of designers riffing on your version. Word to Dapper Dan.
Allen Iverson Ordered to Pay Over $60K Due to Divorce Lawyers
Former NBA star Allen Iverson lost a legal battle with his former attorneys after he refused to pay for their help on his divorce filing.
Iverson allegedly refused to pay the firm over $60,000 for their services, so the company sued him in a Georgia court and won against the athlete on Oct. 30, 2013 to the tune of $64,892.61, which is the principal amount plus interest.
Over the span of his NBA career, Allen Iverson earned $150 million dollars, but during his divorce proceedings he yelled to his ex-wife, “I don’t even have money for a cheeseburger.”
“[Iverson] does not know how to manage the children; has little interest in learning to manage the children and has actually, at times, been a hindrance to their spiritual and emotional growth and development. For example, he has refused to attend to an obvious and serious alcohol problem, which has caused him to do inappropriate things in the presence of the children while impaired,” the judge wrote in the divorce decree.
“He has left the children alone without supervision. He has left his young daughters in a hotel room with men who are unknown to the mother.”

She is, undoubtedly, one of the world's most powerful women.
So it's fitting that Beyonce Knowles should take inspiration from independent, powerful men for her latest stage outfits.
The 32 year-old star wore a dramatic gladiator-style costume followed by a daring two-piece covered in chainmail during a live performance in Glasgow on Friday.
The choice of clothing seems to hark back to the days where such attire was commonplace amongst brave men in battle.
But, fortunately, Beyonce has few battles on her hands - the star is enjoying a stratospheric peak of her career as she begins the European leg of her latest world tour.
The 32-year-old singer took to the stage for a second night at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, where she wowed fans.
Her choice of attire is just the latest in a series of impressive - and flesh-baring - dresses.
On Thursday she dressed in a blue and green playsuit, which not only highlighted her long, toned legs, but the plunging neckline displayed a great deal of her cleavage.
She left her long blonde hair loose around her shoulders as she threw herself into her energetic set.
While Beyonce’s plunging playsuit won over many of the locals, she is sure to have swayed everyone over to her side by another one of her outfits.
One way of impressing the locals on your world tour is to wear an outfit that means something to them. And that is exactly what Beyonce did as she took to the stage while wearing tartan.
The singer wore a shirt decorated in the pattern, which is particularly associated with the country, and featuring several black beads and stars sewn onto it.
She also opted for a pair of tiny leather shorts and continuing with the leather look, she sported a cap in the same style as she blasted out hits during her set.
The superstar singer sported an array of outfits including a stunning black bodysuit with silver embellishment.
She also stunned in a sparkly dress with a sheer skirt and see-through panels on the bodice.
And her choice of thigh high boots and short dress after yet another outfit change will have pleased her fans.
Beyonce turned up the heat on her performance at one point by performing in front of several huge flames at the back of the stage.

Watching a few trophies being handed out before Saturday's big night, Brandy attended the NAACP Non-Televised Awards Ceremony on Friday (February 21).
The "Boy is Mine" singer headed to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium where she hit the red carpet in a sleeveless black cutout gown.
Sharing photos of the big night, the 35-year-old star revealed that she took her mom Sonja to be her guest for the occasion.

Azealia Banks' Soundcloud Terminated For Copyright Infringement
Another day, another struggle is becoming an old adage for MC, Azealia Banks. Today, she announced that her Soundcloud page has been deleted after two previous red flags on songs posted.
These days, Twitter has become the proverbial podium that artist use when they want attention. Banks followed suit, saying "So I got a third copyright infringement on my soundcloud via 'f**k up the fun' and they terminated my account. All 2million followers, gone."
It appears that she was more upset over losing the stans she's amassed over time than one of her largest music platforms tanking.
However, we're confused as to why a song of hers was flagged on her Soundcloud page. Perhaps this has something to do with Banks being in label limbo after publicly dissing and begging Universal to drop her. The label could be the proverbial Jim Jones to her Max B, which is ironic with her being from Harlem in all.
Nevertheless, while it seems like the New Yorker can't get a break, we'd like if she directed all disdain to a recording booth. Banks has the obvious talent.
At least she has a sense of humor, as her follow-up tweet read, "Way to f**k up the fun , lol."
Expect Azealia Banks' Soundcloud page to make a return to the Internets soon. History suggests that her next venting session on Twitter could happen just as quickly.
‘Thicker Than Water’ Star Brooklyn Tankard ARRESTED!!
“Thicker than Water” star Brooklyn Tankard was arrested in Tennessee for allowing her child to skip school.
Tankard — known as “Queen Brooklyn” on the show — was stopped by cops in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for a traffic offense … and a license check turned up some outstanding warrants … including one for “Failure to Cause Child to Attend School.”
According to court docs, Tankard’s 10-year-old daughter, Diamond, had 16 unexcused absences from school, and another 35 unexcused tardies.
Brooklyn was booked and released, according to the website.

Brooklyn Nets Sign Jason Collins
Free agent big man Jason Collins, 35, inked a deal with The Brooklyn Nets, which makes him the first active openly gay player in American professional sports.
The 35-year-old, who came out last April inSports Illustrated, has not played since last year after finishing the regular season with the Washington Wizards.
Collins has been a part of six different teams over a 12-year professional career, but spent the majority of his time with the Nets when they played in New Jersey
