#RHoA Cynthia Bailey is experiencing a rebirth at 50
Cynthia Bailey is experiencing something of a renaissance at 50.
“I’m embracing it, I’m divorced, I’m dating, it’s almost like a rebirth so to speak,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” beauty said recently. “I’m going through this love and light rebirth, my ’50 Cynt’ moment, which I stole 50 Cent‘s name for the year. Hopefully he’s not mad at me, but it just represents Cynthia at 50.”
Embracing change is nothing new for the Bravo personality, who revealed last year she and husband Peter Thomas were parting ways after six years of marriage.
“Obviously there were sad times leading up to that decision, it’s a little depressing having to end a union you hoped would work out and be forever and ever,” she said.
Despite heartache at 49, Bailey, who turned 50 in February, has found love again with new beau Will Jones.
“I met Mr. Will Jones at my 50 Cynt birthday party here in Atlanta, which we were filming,” Bailey explained. “He was kind of a hookup, some of my staff invited a couple guys. I didn’t have a date to my birthday party and they’re like, ‘Oh, we should bring some guys for you to meet,’ and I didn’t take it seriously and some guys showed up and Will was one of the guys and we kind of had an immediate connection.”
Though the couple is already Instagram official, Bailey is still adjusting to the dating scene in 2017.
“Dating is a trip,” she said. “Everything has changed, nobody calls each other that much anymore, it’s all about texting and I have to learn about what emojis mean. Thank God I have an 18-year-old [daughter Noelle] in the house to explain what right texting is, what’s too much.”
While Bailey teased she is having a “great time” dating Jones, it appears he and her ex have already crossed paths, even if Thomas doesn’t remember.
“Will has actually met him, he used to come to Bar 1 apparently, when it was open, so he definitely has met Peter, but Peter doesn’t seem to remember him,” Bailey revealed.
Season 10 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” premieres Sunday at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Taye Diggs is "having a lot of fun" on Empire. The 46-year-old actor stopped by our friends at E!'s Daily Pop and dished to co-hosts Catt Sadler and Justin Sylvester about his role on Empire. Diggs joined the show in the role of Angelo DuBois in 2016 at the request of star Taraji P. Henson.
So how is he enjoying working on the show? "I'm having a lot of fun, I've been telling everybody it's very rare to be a fan of a show and then to actually be on it, so it's somewhat surreal," Diggs told the co-hosts.

He continued, "I'm always continuing to be starstruck because of the caliber of celebrity and talent that they have on the show, it's crazy."

#BOXOFFICENEWS: 'Thor: Ragnarok' Delivers a $121M Debut at the Box Office!
Disney and Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok got the 2017 holiday movie season started in strong fashion, debuting with over $120 million as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to fill theaters. Additionally, STX's A Bad Moms Christmas brought in over $20 million for its five-day start, but it's the road ahead that will tell the full story as it hopes to play well into the holiday season. Overall, the top twelve delivered a combined $166 million, which is a massive improvement over last week but still falls short of the $183 million for the same weekend last year, which not only featured the $85 million debut of Doctor Strange, but openings for Trolls and Hacksaw Ridge.
With an estimated $121 million, Disney and Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok delivered the seventh largest opening for a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, topping the $117 million debut for Spider-Man: Homecoming earlier this year. On average, films in the MCU deliver 2.72x multipliers, which would put Ragnarok's domestic run over $330 million if it merely holds to the average, but we're expecting it to play a bit better thanks in large part to strong reviews and opening weekend audience reception. Mariah Carey And Manager Stella Bulochnikov Reportedly Split.
A statement confirming the break-up to Page Six reads…

#PRAY Texas Church Shooting leaves several dead, Gunmen allegedly is dead too!
Multiple people were reported killed after a gunman opened fire in a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, on Sunday, an official said.
A single shooter walked into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs and opened fire, Wilson County Commissioner Albert Gamez Jr. told NBC News.
Gamez said he had spoken to the sheriff and other officials who said there were multiple fatalities and multiple wounded, but it was not immediately clear how many were dead or injured.
Several other law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation also said "multiple" people had been killed, with as many as 15 injured. The FBI and ATF were headed to the scene, the sources said.
A spokesperson for the Wilson County Sheriff's Office had described it as an "active shooter" incident.
Later, from the scene of the shooting, Gamez said on MSNBC that he had heard from officials there that up to 24 people may have died.
He added that he had been told that deputies were in pursuit of the suspect after the gunman fled the scene of the church.
But the shooter was now "deceased," Gamez said, adding that it was not clear if the gunman shot himself or was taken down by authorities.
Carrie Matula, who works at a gas station about 150 yards away from the church, told MSNBC that she heard "semiautomatic gunfire" and looked to see what was going on.
"It's a small Baptist church. It’s an older building. I don’t know that they would have security cameras or anything high tech like that. And I know they didn’t have security in the parking lot," she said.
"I never thought it would happen here," Matula added. "This is something that happens in a big city. I would never have thought this would have taken place here. It's just too tight a community. It doesn’t make sense."
"Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act," Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said in a post on Twitter. "Our thanks to law enforcement for their response."
President Donald Trump, travelling in Asia, later tweeted, "May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan."
Sherri Pomeroy, the wife of church pastor Frank Pomeroy, told NBC News that her husband was out of town at the time of the reported shooting but that her daughter was inside the church.

#CONDOLENCES: Jimmy Fallon Mourns His Mother Gloria's Death!
Jimmy Fallon is mourning the death of his mother, Gloria Fallon, who passed away on Saturday (Nov 4).
Via People: “Jimmy Fallon’s mother, Gloria, died peacefully on Saturday,” A Fallon family spokesperson told PEOPLE in a statement. “Jimmy was at his mother’s bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time.”
The tragic news comes after Fallon cancelled a Nov. 3 taping of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon due to a “private Fallon family matter.”
A source revealed to PEOPLE then that Gloria was sick and that Fallon, 43, had gone to the hospital to be by her side.
“Jimmy comes from a very close knit family, and together with the rest of his loved ones they are by her side right now,” the source added.
