IT'S ON! March Madness set to begin after NCAA tournament bracket revealed!
The NCAA selection committee didn't deal the college basketball community any major surprises this year, but the nation will still be buzzing about several novel storylines in the lead-up to the Big Dance this week.
Defending champion Villanova (31-3) claimed the overall No. 1 seed, the third in school history, after cruising through the Big East tournament. They were joined on the top seeding line by Kansas (28-4), North Carolina (27-7) and Gonzaga (32-1) as the favorites tabbed by the committee to advance to the Final Four in Phoenix, Ariz.

Northwestern (23-11) finally qualified for the field for the first time in school history, snapping a 78-year drought by earning a No. 8 seed in the West Region. They'll tip off against No. 9 Vanderbilt (19-15), which became the first 15-loss team in NCAA history to earn an at-large bid.
Villanova will have to navigate an East Region that features Duke, Baylor, Florida and Virginia. Some speculated that the Blue Devils had done enough to earn a No. 1 seed after taking home the ACC tournament title. Committee chair Mark Hollis noted in an interview with CBS aired during the selection show that Duke was slotted as a No. 4 seed before beating three top-25 teams last week. The Blue Devils ultimately earned the No. 2 seed, and will have to take down the defending champs to reach the Final Four.

Kansas heads up the Midwest Region, which also includes Louisville, Oregon, Purdue and Iowa State. The Jayhawks seem to have drawn the softest bracket, as the Cardinals (24-8) were not expected to obtain a No. 2 seed after losing in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament. The Ducks are perhaps underseeded on  the No. 3 line, but they did lose starting forward Chris Boucher to a torn ACL during the Pac-12 tournament -- a fact that CBS analyst Clark Kellogg said likely contributed to their placement.
North Carolina (27-7) earned the No. 1 seed in the South Region despite losing to Duke twice in three matchups this season. The Tar Heels did, however, win the regular-season ACC title -- an achievement the selection committee seemingly prioritized. Regardless, they won't have an easy road to Phoenix in a bracket that boasts Kentucky, UCLA and Butler -- a fascinating collection of basketball blue bloods and programs with extensive recent success.

The West Region will be home to two powers in Gonzaga and Arizona. The Bulldogs lost only one game this season, a home upset to BYU. The Wildcats, meanwhile, just concluded an impressive march through the Pac-12 tournament by defeating UCLA and Oregon. That region also includes Florida State, West Virginia and Notre Dame. The Seminoles will take part in one of the most intriguing first-round matchups versus No. 14 Florida Gulf Coast in Orlando, Fla.

The most notable teams "snubbed" were Syracuse (18-14) and Illinois State (27-6), but even those squads can't feel too aggrieved.
Committee chair Mark Hollis cited Syracuse's 2-11 road record and poor nonconference play as to why the Orange were left out of the field. Ultimately, they never rediscovered the magic that carried them to the Final Four last year, having lost four of their final six games after falling to lesser teams such as St. John's, Boston College and Connecticut on their nonconference slate.
The Redbirds, meanwhile, only had one win against NCAA tournament teams -- and that was against Wichita State, whom they lost to twice. That wasn't enough to overcome losses to lightweights like Murray State, Tulsa and San Francisco.

As of Sunday evening, VegasInsider listed Kansas and North Carolina as 13/2 co-favorites to win it all. UCLA (9/1), Gonzaga (10/1) and Villanova (10/1) rounded out the top five.
Below is the entire bracket of 68 teams. Who do you think will take home the championship?

#RHoA: Kenya Moore Says Porsha Williams’ Behavior Toward Kandi Burruss “Cannot Get Any Lower”
This season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta has entered a level of debased raunchiness that puts pretty much every other season of every other franchise city to shame. And that is not a positive review. Kenya Moore agrees, calling Porsha Williams‘ nasty accusations about Kandi Burruss low and false.

Kenya says she was shocked to hear about Porsha’s incendiary claims of Kandi being mixed up with sex dungeons, drugs, and extra-marital lesbian relationships. “I know Kandi has been very honest about herself since I’ve known her. I’ve often said she is the most loyal friend I’ve ever seen, even when she would take sides with Phaedra [Parks]. With that said, Kandi has always been open about her sexuality, she has a sex toy line! I just cannot believe that the situation has become a real life movie: Sex, Lies, and Videotape.”
Pausing a beat before getting back to that mess, Kenya gushes about having her brother make a cameo on the show, who she admits most viewers had no idea existed.

“A lot of people didn’t know I had a baby brother. I used to take care of him when I lived in Texas with my dad in Houston over the summer. I changed his diapers for goodness sake. Now he’s the one with two beautiful daughters and wife giving me relationship advice. Even though Matt and I are not together now, he actually made a lot of sense, and seeing the man he has become has made me so proud. And yes, Aunties have rights too! LOL!”

While Kenya is trying to make her “boyfriend” and “family” story line happen, Porsha and Kandi are setting the season on fire with their drama – drama that Kenya says is the lowest sort she’s ever seen. And this lady knows the definition of LOW, having brought her own brand of TWIRL to the table more than once over the years!
In her blog, Kenya calls out Porsha for dragging them all into the proverbial gutter. “It made me sick to my stomach thinking this is the lowest thing I’ve ever seen in this group. The same person has attacked, fought, slandered, and now spews accusations suggesting a criminal act. This cannot get any lower… You expect people to defend themselves or perhaps get angry over lies, but the real question is why would anyone need to defend themselves against a blatantly false accusation of attempted drugging or worse?”

So, why is Porsha going so hard at Kandi? Kenya chalks it up to good old thirst. Kenya says she feels “certain people in our group have nothing to lose and enjoy the demise of happy couples, relationships or tearing down someone else’s brand in order to stay relevant.”

Motivations aside, RHOA seems to be circling the toilet bowl this season. And while none of these ladies are innocent – especially Ms. Kenya Moore – in perpetuating petty drama to “stay relevant,” we seem to be witnessing a new low in the levels they’ll go to in order to achieve it. Someone just needs to give this sh*t a good flush, once and for all. Blech.

Do You Agree That This Season Is A New Low For Porsha?

#HipHopNews: Nicki Minaj Calls Out PartyNextDoor Over Ghostwriting Insinuation
Nicki Minaj is not here for the ghostwriting talk. The Young Money rapper released three new tracks last week, including “Regret in Your Tears,” which finds the Queens rapper detailing a relationship gone bad. Some on Twitter are speculating that PartyNextDoor is the penman behind the song, which Minaj is vehemently denying.

The hubbub started yesterday when the OVO crooner started liking people’s tweets who were praising him for ghostwriting the track. In one tweet in particular, a Twitter user captioned an ad for the song, “awaits @partynextdoor reference track.”
Early this morning, Nicki hopped on Twitter to clear the air. “Party Next Door had NOTHING to do w/ #RegretInYourTears,” she posted. “Nigga aint never heard that song a day in his life . Bless y’all heart. ‍♀️”

She later added, “Not sure why he was ‘liking’ tweets. Maybe it was just ‘funny’ to him. Maybe he was…’hacked’. Lol. Either way. ‍♀️ – #DisTewMuch FOH .”
Party is known for his pen game, having co-wrote DJ Khaled’s “The Shining” featuring Beyonce and Jay Z, and Rihanna’s “Work,” among other songs.
Back in September, he implied that he was curving his own project because of his ghostwriting slate.

But Nicki is having no parts of anyone trying to act like they helped her with her music. Especially after this.
Earlier this year, the two appeared together on the Major Lazer track “Run Up.”
Check out PND and Nicki’s Twitter action on the matter below.
LOL!

The 38-year-old The Affair actor and his date were seen dining at The Immigrant in the East Village neighborhood.

Eyewitnesses say that Joshua and the mystery brunette arrived around 9pm and they started “kissing somewhat passionately” about an hour and a half into the meal.
“They were both smiling and laughing,” the source told E! News. “They left the bar at midnight together and went back to his hotel, walking about five blocks and holding hands. They looked super happy.”
It’s not clear yet who the woman is or how they met. Joshua split from his longtime partner Diane Kruger last summer.

Kordell Steward Wins Defamation Case against Andrew Caldwell.
Two years ago Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams' ex-husband Kordell Stewart filed a defamation of character lawsuit against viral celebrity Andrew Caldwell after Andrew claimed he and Kordell had sex

Well Look at GAWD! Kordell just won his case...

From The Daily Mail Ex-NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart has scored a $3 million victory against viral video star Andrew Caldwell who claimed the two had a gay relationship.
In November last year, a judge awarded Stewart, 44, a 'default judgment' against Caldwell, who failed to turn up to the proceedings.
Then on March 10, according to documents seen exclusively by DailyMail.com, Stewart was awarded $1.5 million in general damages and $1.5 million in punitive damages as his reputation was 'significantly' hurt by the claims.
The $3 million victory is less than the NFL star had hoped, however - he sued Caldwell for $4.5 million last month, citing loss of earnings, emotional distress and impairment to his image.

GOOD FOR HIM!

Muhammad Ali Jr Detained At Airport For A Second Time!
His lawyer says the most recent incident was a retaliatory act because Ali has openly criticized Trump's travel ban.
The son of boxing legend Muhammad Ali was detained Friday at a U.S. airport for the second time in just over a month, according to his lawyer.

Muhammad Ali Jr. was questioned for about 20 minutes at Ronald Reagan National Airport just outside Washington D.C, lawyer Chris Mancini told the New York Daily News. He said that Ali was detained due to skepticism surrounding his identification. He was eventually released after providing his U.S. passport.
The incident occurred only a day after Ali spoke to a congressional forum on immigration that House Democrats hosted in Washington, D.C. He was speaking out against President Donald Trump’s travel ban aimed at immigrants from majority Muslim nations. His testimony stemmed from his experience on Feb. 7 at the Fort Lauderdale airport where he was detained because of his religion, Mancini said at the time. Ali is muslim.
But Mancini also maintains that Ali was targeted this time in retaliation for participating in the forum the day before, and criticizing Trump:

“Going to Washington obviously opened up a can of worms at DHS,” Mancini said. He added that he expected Ali to be stopped frequently moving forward.

So now if you speak against Trump you get held by the authorities?

Kristen Stewart Says Coming Out Is Worthwhile If She Can Help Others
Sporting a bleached-blond buzz cut, American actress Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet in New York to promote her new film Personal Shopper, saying she hoped to help others by going public about her sexual orientation.
The 26-year-old, who used to date her co-star from the Twilight film series, Robert Pattinson, made headlines in February when she announced she was gay while hosting the U.S. late-night sketch show Saturday Night Live.
“I always wanted to keep what was mine in private, mine. And then I thought like you know, you open it up a little bit and you can help one or two people, it’s absolutely worth it,” she said on Thursday.

Personal Shopper, directed by Olivier Assayas, tells the story of Maureen (Stewart), an American woman working in Paris, who is trying to connect with the spirit of her dead brother Lewis. The film has been described as a seductive, mysterious ghost story, but Assayas said it was simply a coming of age tale.

Actress Kristen Stewart poses as she arrives for the premiere of her new film "Personal Shopper" in New York
“It’s a character who is in a moment in her life where she has to somehow become herself because she’s just lost her twin brother. So it’s really like a character who is one-half of herself and she will gradually rebuild her life and become someone,” Assayas said.

The film, which also stars Nora Von Waldstatten and Sigrid Bouaziz, first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2016
