Remy Ma & Papoose Cover "Sister 2 Sister" + Remy SPEAKS On Papoose's Loyalty And What Happened The Day She Got Convicted!

Remy Ma is on the loose and hotter than ever. Television appearances, magazine spreads, spitting hot 16s - it's almost like she never went away! But....in the upcoming issue of "S2S" (on newsstands next week) Remy Ma opens up about the ugly side of incarceration and the toll it took on her family and friends.

On the brighter side, she talks about her loving husband Papoose who married her days before she went to jail and who made it a point to see her every moment he could for SEVEN years! It's a true love story. A little ratchet. A little cray cray. But love is love. And one thing this sneak peek proves is Papoose LOVES Remy Ma.

On leaving friends she made in jail behind:

I miss them so much already. It’s so crazy. I had already been packed because I had expected to leave the day before. So I’m like, “It’s just a couple of things I wanna grab like my Bible and some paperwork and pictures that I took over the last couple of days.” And they just really rushed me out of the whole prison. I caught a glimpse of my friends; they had locked them inside the gym and they were all banging on the doors screaming like, “We love you, we love you, we miss you.” It was a wonderful thing. But I’m probably never gonna see them. So who knows? I spent six and a half years with them. They’re going through all types of situations, but one of my stipulations on my parole is that you cannot contact people that have a criminal history. So it’s like you build these relationships and just, due to the new criteria that I have to follow based on my release, I can’t even contact them or let them know everything’s alright and I miss you guys. But that’s part of the situation.

On "No New Friends":

My circle is definitely smaller. If I didn’t know you before like 2000 or even 2005, I really don’t want to have anything to do with you if you’re not my family. It’s not because I think I’m better than anybody; I’m just trying to be more cautious. So, I’m definitely aware of who I am and my career and just the achievements that I’ve made in life. But there are cons, too. I was always aware of the bull. You get to travel and you make a lot of good money and you make a lot of “quote unquote” friends because of who you are. You get free stuff and things like that. But there’s a lot of things that come with that. You don’t know the people that want to see you do bad just because they’re not doing good. Or people that already have preconceived notions of what rappers are like or think you should be what they hear from your music. Those people impose these negative feelings and thoughts onto you, which leads to negative actions.

On the day she got convicted:

I actually didn’t think that I was going to be convicted. You know how some days are just so traumatizing that you don’t even think about it? I really made myself numb to certain things. I don’t talk about it. I feel like there was some things that were handled crazily on several different people’s parts. But I was sentenced to a certain amount of time in the end, so I don’t want to keep revisiting that. I don’t want anybody feeling any type of way, because there’s a bunch of people that feel like, “Oh, she should’ve went to prison for her whole life,” or, “She should’ve done this, she should’ve done that. I felt that, whatever was given to me, I took it and I went through it. And I went through it not just by myself, but with my loved ones that I really care about. They suffered as well. At this point in my life, I don’t want to prolong the suffering by dwelling on what happened that night. I don’t have ill feelings towards anybody or anything. I’m on such a different page and a different chapter in my life that that book is gone. That book is read and it’s over.

On Papoose and his loyalty:

That’s right. In a marriage you get a visit 8:30 in the morning until 3:30, Monday through Friday. Then your weekends alternate. And he was there. If you saw my first year, every single day, Monday thru Friday—canceling whatever he had to do for shows and interviews—he was staying in that prison with me from 8:30 in the morning to 3:30. Then we’d stay on the phone until 5 or 5:30 until lock-in. It was crazy looking back at it now because I just had to tell him one time, like, “Yo, you can’t stay here every day with me.” I think he kinda felt, “Well, as long as you’re here, we’re both here."

Most of the time they split. Initially, I was surprised. But really, if I thought about the type of person that he is, I shouldn’t have ever questioned it. He proved me and everybody else wrong. After that first year or two I was like, “Alright, it’s no need for me to worry anymore; he’s definitely in it for the long run.” And it’s obvious how much he loves me. I never have to question that.

Is Usher Secretly Married To Longtime Girlfriend Grace Miguel?

It appears that Usher may have already jump the broom with longtime girlfriend Grace Miguel, the two has been together since 2009 and he has been hinting on wanting to get married again. He also stated that if he did indeed get married, he wants Tameka to drop his last name… That would be a great present to him he stated.

According to Centric all signs point to yes.

Recently Grace has been spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger and her children have been openly referring to Usher as their step-dad on social media.

Liberty Ross, Erykah Badu & More Talk Personal Style in ELLE October 2014

As we all make the transition from summer wardrobe to autumn ensembles, Elle magazine is full of inspiration in the October 2014 Personal Style Issue.

The feature piece examines the fashion flavors of several stylish ladies such as singer/songwriter Erykah Badu- “I was raised a child of the funk era: Betty Davis and Bootsy Collins. I’ve always enjoyed a very loosely put together style that feels like maybe I slept in it the night before—almost hobo chic. Effortless.”

As for professional poser Liberty Ross- “England has had a huge influence on my style, whether it be the Clash, Alexander McQueen, or my 104-year-old grandmother, Lady Jackie Killearn. There are times when it’s beautiful in Los Angeles and I look like I’m dressed for a London winter.”

Meanwhile, artist/model Langley Fox Hemingway explained her clothing choices- “I wear hats all the time—I have an Indiana Jones that I got at a vintage store in Idaho for six dollars. I put my grandpa’s army pins on it, and for some reason it’s my favorite.”

And jewelry designer Aurélie Bidermann noted, “It’s important to me that the jewelry comes first. I feel very strong and powerful when I have a lot of bracelets—sometimes I wear four or five together. For me it’s all about that combination.”

Are Trey Songz & Mila J Dating?

It looks like Trey Songz and Mila J may be R&B’s newest couple. According to E! News, they have confirmation that the two singers are indeed together.

Although they’ve kept their budding romance low key, they recently shared pics of them out on a date at the Compound Foundation’s Fostering a Legacy benefit in New York. They arrived separately, but were by each other’s side all evening – and were even spotted kissing and posing for selfies.

Trey had his arm wrapped around the “My Main” songstress in a pic he shared on Instagram, with the caption – “She so fine…” The source also says tell E! that the twosome, who have been friends for a while and even worked together on a song for Trey’s new album Trigga, have “so much in common.”

Kendall Jenner Reportedly Bullied by Other Models During Fashion Week

Kendall Jenner, who now goes by ‘Kendall’ professionally, has gone through great lengths to distance herself from her famous family and establish a name for herself — but when you’re a ‘Kardashian’ not everyone is willing to let you forget.

According to In Touch, 18-year-old Kendall was bullied by other models during New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

“The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn’t think it was fair that she was there,” an insider explained to the magazine, referring to the widely-held belief that Jenner’s name and brother-in-law Kanye West’s connections snagged her high-profile gigs. “They thought she was getting special treatment and just weren’t okay with it.”

Rather than shrug off the injustice, the models decided to “mess” with the teen, who walked for the Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg and Tommy Hilfiger shows.

“They started acting so bitchy— some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall’s drink!” the insider reveals. “Models can be cruel, especially with someone new and entitled.”

Jenner recently spoke out her desperate need to be treated like a self-made model, not a reality star spawn.

It sounds like an episode of America’s Next Top Model to us. Maybe her older sisters can teach her a thing or two about learning to cope with negativity.

NFL Player Jonathan Dwyer Deactivated by Arizona Cardinals After Arrest

*Dang, there used to be a time when a professional athlete would get busted and it hardly got any notice.

Well things have drastically changed and no organization is reeling from that change more than the multi-billion dollar sports machine known as the National Football League/NFL.

Well, as they say, the hits keep on comin’. Today, another player, Jonathan Dwyer, is front and center giving the league yet another black eye reports USA Today:

The Arizona Cardinals have benched Dwyer after the running back was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated assault.

“We became aware of these allegations this afternoon when notified by Phoenix police and are cooperating fully,” the Cardinals said in a statement. “Given the serious nature of the allegations we have taken the immediate step to deactivate Jonathan from all team activities.

“We will continue to closely monitor this as it develops and evaluate additional information as it becomes available.”

Phoenix police said in a media release that Dwyer’s arrest stemmed from two separate incidents that occurred at a local apartment on July 21-22. They involved a 27-year-old woman and an 18-month-old child. Police said the woman left the state after the incidents, which were first reported to police Sept. 11.

Dwyer was interviewed, arrested and booked at the Maricopa County Jail on Wednesday on the following charges: one count of aggravated assault causing a fracture; one count aggravated assault involving a minor; two counts of criminal damage; one count of preventing the use of a phone in an emergency; and assault.

Police said that when interviewed, Dwyer admitted to the incidents but denied any physical assaults.

Love & Hip Hop Hollywood debuted to big numbers Monday night, was the highest-rated non Football program with a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. Mona Scott has another hit on her hands… Man can you imagine if Kris Jenner and Mona Scott join forces ?

Love and Hip Hop Hollywood was the highest rated show on Monday with 1.5 million viewers. Now those rating aren’t as good as the 3rd season of Atlanta which was doing 3.5+ million viewers weekly, but that is a good opening number.

ON THE SET: Naturi Naughton & Omari Hardwick GEARING UP For Season 2 Of "POWER"

Are you ready for the return of The St. Patrick family? We for damn sure are. Actress Naturi Naughton, who stars as Tasha St. Patrick on Starz's hit series "Power" tipped off her Twitter followers that the filming of Season 2 had begun in NYC when she posted an EARLY morning selfie while heading to work. She tweeted,

" 5AM pick up...Day 1...Power swag...Grateful! #powertv #TashaIsBack #livingMyDreams"

The show is filming in New York and at its home base at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn.

Once Naturi arrived on the set, she focused her attention on her her on-screen hubby Omari Hardwick, who plays nightlife kingpin "Ghost." Naturi revealed that Omari spends extra time in the makeup chair having many tattoos covered up. Hmm...sounds like a sweet gig to get paid to "touch" that man.

In addition to "Power" and his role on BET's "Being Mary Jane", Omari is also filming Chapter and Verse with Loreatta Devine.

"Power" returns to Starz early 2015 with 10 episodes.

Rosa Parks Memorabilia to be Displayed at Library of Congress for Next Ten Years

Elaine Eason-Steele, Co-founder of the Rosa & Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development [www.rosaparks.org] conveyed her thanks to The Howard G. Buffet Foundation this week, for deciding to loan civil rights icon Rosa Parks‘ memorabilia to the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

The Howard G. Buffett Foundation recently purchased the archive collection of some 1,500 items, which includes Parks’ personal letters, photographs, clothing, furniture, as well as letters from presidents, together with her Presidential Medal of Freedom and Congressional Gold Medal. Buffett’s foundation ultimately selected the world’s largest library to display the artifacts. “My goal was always to ensure this historic collection would be made available for the public’s benefit so that as many people as possible can learn about Rosa Parks and the sacrifices she made to support the civil rights movement,” Buffett said in a statement.

Eason-Steele stated, “We are pleased and appreciative of The Howard G. Buffet Foundation for their level of awareness in choosing to loan Mrs. Parks’ memorabilia to the Library of Congress. We know that she would be proud that her legacy will be conveyed in the high esteem that it deserves, and be available to the world to learn from and cherish.”

Rosa Parks, who died in 2005 at the age of 92, became an iconic and beloved figure in American history when on December 1, 1955 she refused to relinquish a seat she had paid for on a Montgomery bus to a white man. Parks was ultimately arrested under a city ordinance that mandated segregated buses. However, her courageous action led to a major shift in the U.S. Civil Rights movement and a boycott that lasted over a year, bringing worldwide attention to discrimination.

On commemorating the establishment of the Rosa & Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development in 1987, Rosa Parks said, “Children are my passion and I believe that everyone can make a difference in their lives. Our young people are curious, eager to learn, and need the guidance of mentors who care about their development. After all, they are our future and we must someday depend on their leadership. We hope to encourage an environment of dignity, responsibility, and a commitment to treat others as we wish to be treated.”

Scherzy explained, “The album title was inspired by the song ‘Big Fat Lie’ which has a lot of meaning to me. We all go through our own battles and hard times and a big fat lie is about how we mask what’s really going on. This album is about me revealing some of my personal struggles and facing them head on.”
