Oprah Rocks A Blood Red, 15 Foot Train Vera Wang Dress for ‘Oprah’s Favorite Things Issue’

It’s that time again! Oprah Winfrey has released one of my favorite annual issues from her O magazine. ”Oprah’s Favorite Things” was an annual segment that appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show from 2002 to 2010, with a one-year hiatus in 2009.

In the segment, which was typically aired during the holiday season, Winfrey shared products with her audience that she felt were noteworthy or that would make a great gift. Fast forward to the present day and the same theme has been incorporated in her print magazine, but referred to ‘The O List‘.

This year, the 59-year-old rocks a blood red red, Vera Wang dress, with a whooping 15 foot train.

The Twitter World reacts to Richie Incognito calling teammate Jonathan Martin a ‘half n—–r

The Miami Dolphins’ Richie Incognito has been suspended indefinitely by the team after it was revealed he was a racist bully who tormented teammate Jonathan Martin with racial epitaphs, profanity, threats to his him and his mother and taking thousands of dollars from the second-year offensive lineman.

According to transcripts from text messages and voicemails, Incognito also extorted $15,000 from the 6-foot-5, 320-pound Martin so that Incognito and teammates could finance an expensive trip to Vegas. Martin declined to go on the trip for obvious reasons, meaning that he just gave up $15,000 for no reason.

These are just some of the repugnant things that Incognito also said to Martin, according to media reports:

— “Hey, was sup, you half-n—– piece of s—.”

— “I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. I want to c– in your mouth.”

— “I’m going to slap your f—— mouth. I’m going to slap your real mother across the face,” he said while laughing.

— “F— you. You’re still a rookie. I’ll kill you.”

Adrienne & Christopher Bosh Welcome Baby Girl Dylan Bosh

Congrats for the Bosh family! The family continues to grow for NBA Baller Christopher Bosh and wife, Adrienne. This week, the couple welcomed a baby girl named, Dylan. The Miami Heat player shared the news on Instagram writing:

I feel like I’m 10 ft. Tall right now! Very happy to welcome another child to the world!…I’m a father again! I can’t believe it!!!

Adrienne also shared via twitter:

Went great!! What a miracle ? #Humbled #Love

This is Chris’ third child and second child for Adrienne. Their eldest, 5-year-old Trinity is from a previous relationship, while Jackson is almost 2 years-old. Congrats!

Rihanna Celebrates Grandfather Birthday In Barbados

Over the weekend Rihanna celebrated her Grandfather’s birthday with family in Barbados. The party look like great fun and Rihanna even got a chance to dance with her Grandfadda Bravo. She also sent him a very heartfelt birthday wish on her instagram page that said,

“Happy Birthday Grandfadda Bravo!!!!! You are so special to all of us!!! If it wasn’t for you buying out the whole tray of mangoes from gran gran Dolly that one day you got off your ship in Guyana, and charmed her with that smile laced with a gold cap, NONE of us would be here!! So Im saying a special thanks to you for having the heart of a Lion, my Scorpio King, Legend!!! They will never know what it took for you to get us here!! I love you way past unconditional!!! You’re true az steel BRAVO!!!! #BirthdayBoy”

While she was in Barbados she also got time to go to a charityevent for some children. You can see all the photos from RiRi’s family fill weekend below!

Rihanna obviously enjoys giving back. She talked to several children who were taking part in the charity day Dance 4 Life, a charity initiative designed to inspire and unite young people to push back the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Idris Elba Recovers In Time For MANDELA Premiere

Idris Elba seems to have at least somewhat recovered from his severe asthma attack this weekend that caused him to miss the "Mandela" press conference in South Africa. He thankfully popped up at the premiere the next day. In Johannesberg, South Africa, the star of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom made his way on the red carpet for the big premiere. Idris Elba finally made it to the country after being taken off the plane in London before it took off to South Africa. And it was all due to a severe asthma attack.

He seemed to not be fully recovered, but well enough to chat up the media and the Mandela family.

He sat with Mandela's wife Graca Machel and more famous ex-wife Winnie Madikizela Mandela and her daughter Zindzi.

Naomie Harris was stunning in a champagne and sheer one shoulder Donna Karan Atelier gown. Gorgeous.

The film comes stateside November 28th.

Teddy Riley sues Lady Gaga for $500K

Legendary R&B and hip-hop artist and producer Teddy Riley has sued Lady Gaga for unpaid royalties and fees for the song “Teeth.”

The song was released in 2009 on Gaga’s wildly successful Fame Monster album, yet Riley claims that he has yet to receive his due 25 percent of the writing fees for the song.

Riley has filed suit for $500,000 plus punitive damages.

Riley is known for creating the New Jack Swing sound, along with producing hits for a slew of the biggest and brightest stars in music. including Michael Jackson, Usher, Bobby Brown and Snoop Dogg. Riley was also a member of the well known R&B groups Guy and Blackstreet.

Pebbles’ daughter says Chilli slept with L.A. Reid; wants to beat her ‘into the concrete’

Ashley Reid, had apparently not satiated her thirst for vengeance last week when she fired verbal shots on Twitter at TLC member Chilli regarding the highly inflammatory VH1 biopic “CrazySexyCool” that broke the station’s ratings records.

Reid reloaded and fired another full clip at TLC — this time during the “Reid All About It” radio show interview — in a high-volume, very vulgar and profanity-laced tirade against Chilli in particular, claiming that Rozonda Thomas performed oral sex on her father, L.A. Reid, while he was married to her Pebbles, and that she can’t wait to see her so that she can beat Chilli’s “face into the concrete.”

Other sources close to the situation claim that Chilli’s alleged sexual relations with Pebbles’ husband, L.A. Reid, was the real reason Chilli was kicked out of the group temporarily, instead of the reason shown during the movie, that she was messing around with producer Dallas Austin.

Ashley Reid, who called herself a “reformed hooligan,” unleashed her inner gangsta and even threw her own father into the raging fire in order to burn Chilli to a crisp.

On the film being full of lies:

They [Chilli and T-Boz] know what they lied about.[...]They understand what they had to do in order to make more and fuel publicity to make more money. They used mostly our family, mostly mom as a pawn for publicity to drive the whole entire film and she was actually in the majority of it as the devil, as the super villain. Common sense will tell you if you continue the whole entire time to point a finger at everybody else and never take responsibility for anything, it usually means that you need to sit your f——- a– down somewhere and take some accountability for something.

Pebbles investing money in TLC 

Mom woke one day and decided she wanted to make the biggest girl group in the world and went and plucked them and their dusty a–es off the corner of the street and then spent almost a million dollars developing them in the basement of our home, paying for doctors’ bills, for food, for styling, for apartments, for transportation, for studio time and etc. For them to then get a production deal with LaFace Records, where the actual money was coming from. That is actually how this s–t works people.

At the end of day, its not even necessarily to give me a credit type of thing, its don’t be lying stank a– b——. Seriously.[...]An audience watching is going to see a chitlin’ circuit made-for-TV movie and be like, ‘Oh my God, this is like reading the bible of the TLC story.’

On TLC being signed to LaFace

 [They were signed] as a production deal, mind you. People who don’t know industry stuff, just listen. You might know what VH1 shows you but you don’t know how this industry works.

TLC also didn’t write their own music so in terms of publishing, they also didn’t get that money. Writers, producers, my mother…what you guys have to understand…Lisa wrote [some]. Lisa’s family is not happy with this film at all. At the end of the day, Lisa was the creative person in that trio. She really had that vibrancy and life. She put the energy in TLC.

On why they filed bankruptcy

This started off with a lie. TLC filed for bankruptcy. It didn’t mean they were broke, it meant they had too many debts they had to pay. Bankruptcy doesn’t mean that you’re broke, it means that you want to get out of paying debts. That was true. Did they handle their money properly? No. Did they get signed after being invested so much in with like some blue chip f—— Mariah Carey deal before their first album came out? No. Those certain things were true, but were they treated like they were slaves that my family pulled from Africa and put on a f—— plantation at LaFace Records? No.

Other LaFace artists who didn’t have money problems 

Usher never had money problems. Outkast didn’t have money problems. Donnell Jones wasn’t crying money problems. Toni Braxton didn’t have money problems …

Antonio Jr: No Toni Braxton cried money problems.

Ashley: That’s just because she f—– Uncle Bryant.

On her mother telling her to fall back and stop threatening folks

Mind you guys, I’m gonna say this. I saw the trailer for the film and saw that they had a $20 wig on my mother’s character while my mother had and still has the best hair in the business, the best real hair in the business. That already infuriated me to a point to where I didn’t want to watch it.

Mom, just wants me to stop threatening people. Mom is concerned with my emotions. She’s a mother at the end of the day. So she’s just like, ‘You know what, I might feel this way and that way about it, but I don’t want you flying off the handle. I don’t want aggression coming towards you and I also don’t want you to go jail.’ But she’s like, ‘I love you and appreciate you for defending your mom.’ I’m like, ‘I didn’t hear the first part.’

On threatening Chilli on Twitter 

When I said on Twitter, ‘Chilli I can’t wait to see you’ what I meant by that was, ‘I can’t wait to see you to beat your f—— face into the concrete.’

 There’s just something I want to say. I’m not gonna talk about Chilli sucking my father’s d— or most of the d—- in the industry in the 90′s.[...]I won’t talk about that. The fact that she sucked most of the d–ks in the 90′s, I won’t talk about that. That has nothing to do with the fact that she is a lying person, I won’t even call her a wh0re anymore. She’s claimed that we got it.

Soul Train Music Awards Bans Lip Syncing

Now here’s one for the record books! After years of artists lip syncing on Soul Train, this year they are in for a surprise! According to reports there will be NO LIP SYNCING at the 2013 Soul Train Awards that will be aired on December 1st on BET and Centric. We are so sorry R&B/Soul singer of the Y2K era, you are NOT Beyonce and this is NOT a Presidential Inauguration! I’m not sure who’s performing, but…it is the Soul Train Awards so are ears should be pretty safe.
