Campari shares creative input with Vanity Fair as a Main Sponsor of the Venice Film Festival.
Vanity Fair US breaks ranks with the woman focus, turning their attention to Asghar Farhadi, director behind Oscar winners ‘A Separation’ and ‘The Salesman’. The Iranian speaks in a global language, writes David Canfield.
Farhadi finds his own movies resonating everywhere and has come to understand why. “People all around the world, their similarities are way more than their differences,” he tells Canfield over Zoom, through a translator. “It’s because our basis in cinema is the human emotion.”
The director isn’t likely to be inspired by Iranian or even regional politics. His desire is to explore themes that are more universal and embraced by a far-reaching audience. One might say that Farhadi seeks to unify rather than segment by geography, politics or religion.

#RHOA: Porsha Williams jumps off boat in skimpy bikini... after sharing body positive post about embracing her 'gut' or having lipo!
On Sunday the 40-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star appeared on Instagram to share a 12-second-long video of her jumping off a boat into the ocean.
'YOLO,' she simply captioned the post, which stands for 'you only live once.'
The Dish Nation co-host wore a white and black snakeskin print two-piece bathing suit. The top was strapless and the bottoms were thong-cut.
The reality TV star also had on a large pair of silver hoop earrings and a head wrap as she plunged into the sea while a Megan Thee Stallion song played in the background.
Someone could be heard counting, 'One, two, three, go!' as the star readied herself for the jump.
Monday morning the multi-hyphenate beauty shared another two posts to social media as well.
The first was a 40-second-long video taken by her fiancé Simon Guobadia aboard a private plane.
She captioned it, 'Morning twirl for my hubby,' along with a crown emoji and an emoji of a woman dancing in a red dress — which she closely resembled as she wore a red number of her own.
The Bravo TV personality was dressed in a long-sleeve button down red leopard print housecoat.
As her soon-to-be husband approached her with the camera she giggled, jumped up, did a spin, and said, 'Well, I figured you wanted a dance!'
In the second post the mother-of-one posed with her beau in two pictures in front of their private jet.
The photos were accompanied by a video in which Guobadia hands his future bride a single red rose as she thanks him and leans in for a kiss. The media star later puts the flower behind her ear, showing off large gold hoops and her sparkling engagement ring.
This comes after the entrepreneur recently shared with her 6.5 Instagram followers that she hasn't had surgery.
The New Celebrity Apprentice contestant made a statement about body positivity as she took a selfie in a figure-hugging orange dress.
The post was captioned, 'PSA: If you have a** and have not had lipo or tummy tuck dis what yo stomach and body gone look like!'
The Atlanta native continued: 'Get whatever surgery you want but at least remember if you have a fupa or gut it’s OKKKKK ... I was just trying [on] my @amazon dress and figured I would share that.'
The bride-to-be added the hashtags, #Willdelete, #PositiveMessage and #InRealLife to the social media post.

#HipHopNews: Nicki Minaj Reveals Why She Wasn’t Featured On Doja Cat’s Album!
Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat topped the charts with 2020’s “Say So (Remix),” but their second collaboration never came to be.
During a Twitter Spaces chat, Nicki revealed that she was asked to feature on Doja’s album Planet Her. She was sent two songs, including “Get Into It (Yuh),” but she and Doja were unable to properly connect the same way she and BIA did for the “Whole Lotta Money (Remix).”
“It’s not that I’m too busy at all. It’s just that there were middle people involved in that situation so I had told her,” Nicki explained. “If it was like how me and BIA were direct and we dealt with each other directly, it would be different.”
Nicki says it also came down to song selection and she just wasn’t feeling it. “I didn’t love that song because I didn’t think I could bring anything to it,” she said of “Get Into It (Yuh).” “So I asked them to send me something else…I think that was the second song they sent me, but I asked them to send me something else. And they didn’t send me anything else.”
In a previous Instagram Live, Doja hinted that Nicki was supposed to be featured on an unnamed track off Planet Her. “I was supposed to get a feature on that song and it didn’t happen because I think the song wasn’t giving what it needed to give.”
And she didn’t want to force the feature. “When we speak of the queens, when we speak of anybody who we respect the most, we don’t want to put them on a song just for the sake of putting them on a song,” she said.
However, she still paid tribute to the Queen on “Get Into It (Yuh)” by shouting her out and referencing lyrics from her 2010 debut single “Massive Attack.”
“Thank you, Nicki…I love you / Got that big rocket launcher,” Doja says at the end of the track.

Kylie Jenner shows off baby bump in heartwarming Instagram video.
The clip begins with a closeup of a positive pregnancy test in Jenner’s hand and continues to several shots of the 24-year-old with Scott, 30, and their daughter, Stormi. “Are you ready to go to Mommy’s doctor?” Jenner asks the 3-year-old at one point.

Britney Spears' Lawyer Reacts to Her Dad Filing to End Conservatorship!
Britney Spears‘ legal team is reacting to the big news.
Following Jamie Spears‘ filing of a petition to terminate his daughter’s conservatorship after over a decade, Mathew Rosengart issued a statement on Tuesday (September 7).
In the statement, via NBC News, he called the petition a massive legal victory and “vindication” for Britney.
“It appears that Mr. Spears believes he can try to avoid accountability and justice, including sitting for a sworn deposition and answering other discovery under oath, but as we assess his filing — which was inappropriately sent to the media before it was served on counsel — we will also continue to explore all options,” he continued.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny was expected to rule on the petition during a hearing on September 29.

Michael K. Williams' Death Reportedly Triggers Criminal Investigation!
A criminal investigation has reportedly been launched following the death of actor Michael K. Williams. Williams, who was best known for his portrayal of Omar Little on The Wire, was found dead inside of his Brooklyn residence Monday afternoon. Although his cause of death has not yet been determined, the New York Post reported drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment, with a law enforcement source also telling PEOPLE it is believed Williams had heroin laced with fentanyl. The circumstances surrounding his passing have since triggered a criminal investigation, TMZ reports.
According to law enforcement sources who spoke to the outlet, detectives with the New York Police Department are currently conducting an investigation "into the origin of the narcotics" found at the scene. Authorities were called to the actor's Brooklyn residence after one of Williams' relatives went to check in on him after having not heard from him for several days. While an official cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy, which could take weeks, TMZ's sources said it is believed narcotics were involved. Authorities are now attempting to locate the alleged drug dealer. The alleged investigation, however, has not been publicly confirmed by the NYPD.
Born in Brooklyn, Williams began his career with jobs dancing in music videos for acts including George Michael and Madonna. After landing his first film role as Tupac Shakur's brother in the 1996 film Bullet, Williams went on to land the role of Omar Little on The Wire in 2002, remaining on the HBO series until 2008. Williams also starred in fellow HBO series Boardwalk Empire, The Night Of, and Lovecraft Country, which earned him his fifth Emmy nomination in July. Williams also received Emmy nominations for his work in the 2015 telefilm Bessie, The Night Of, Vice, and Ava DuVernay's When They See Us. On the big screen, Williams starred in Gone Baby Gone, Brooklyn's Finest, The Road, 12 Years a Slave, The Gambler, Assassin's Creed, SuperFly, and Inherent Vice, among many others.
Williams' death was confirmed Monday in a statement from his representative that read, "it is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy-nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams. They ask for your privacy while grieving this unsurmountable loss." The actor has been remembered online by those in Hollywood, with director James Gunn remembering him as not only "one of the most talented actors around," but also "one of the kindest, sweetest, most gentle souls I've ever met." The actor's cause of death is pending the results of the city's medical examiner.
Continued prayers for the loved ones of Michael K. Williams.

Afrika Bambaataa Sued for Sexually Abusing a 12-Year-Old Boy in the Early 90s!
Hip-hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa is being sued for sexually abusing and trafficking a young boy.
The lawsuit was filed in Bronx Supreme Court on August 4th by lawyers representing a victim identified only as John Doe. In the suit documents, John Doe says he met the founder of the Universal Zulu Nation in 1991 when he was just 12-years-old. John Doe began attending gatherings at the Bronx River Community Center and eventually joined the Zulu Nation. Once Bambaataa and Zulu Nation co-founder Amad Henderson established their headquarters in a Bronx apartment, John Doe would come over and use the in-home gym.
According to the suit, Bambaataa, whose real name is Lance Taylor, began complimenting the twelve-year-old’s body and eventually started inappropriately touching him. Bambaataa then began showing the pre-teen pornography while encouraging him to masturbate in front of him. John Doe says the abuse lasted for four years. The suit alleges the man transported and sold the boy to other pedophiles in exchange for cash.
This is not the first time the eccentric rap leader has been accused of sexually abusing young boys. In 2016, Troi “Star” Torain interviewed a former Zulu Nation member who claims that he was sexually assaulted by Bambaataa and other Zulu Nation members when he was a ninth-grader. Other accusers came forward soon after with similar tales of grooming and trafficking.
Afrika Bambaataa founded the Universal Zulu Nation in the 1970s to promote hip-hop culture. He is most widely known for his 1982 record, “Planet Rock.”
Mo’Nique is Rocking her new ‘Age Appropriate Catsuits!
Mo’Nique is bringing sexy back in a trio of “age appropriate” catsuits. The comedian-actress showed off her three different looks to celebrate what she called “CATSUIT WEEKEND.” From Sept. 4 to 6, she uploaded a new post revealing a new curve-hugging catsuit for each day.
On Saturday, Sept. 4, she wore a grey sleeveless catsuit and paired heels with it. Her hair was pulled back into a curly grey puff, making way for her face and body to steal the show. The next day, she sported a black catsuit which opened up a bit in the front part of her neck and chest and extended out to the back. This time, her hair was styled in a top knot bun. With the outfit, she wore black heels.
For her last outfit, the “Soul Plane” actress went out with a bang, rocking a shimmery purple catsuit. The sleeves hang firmly to the top part of her shoulders, leaving an open space for her neck. With this outfit, she wore the same pair of heels that she wore with the first catsuit. She opted for another bun hairstyle, but lowered this one to her nape.
Mo’Nique felt so good about her outfits that she even shouted out the designer, Tyrell Holmes. Tagging him, she wrote, “Okay so when I asked @tyrellholmes to make me a catsuit that was age appropriate. BABY @tyrellholmes NOT ONLY SHOWED UP BUT SHOWED OUT. Sisters when I tell y’all he truly gets the CURVY WOMEN, HE GETS THE CURVY WOMEN.”
She even spread some of that self-love onto her fans, in particular the older ones. Under Sunday’s post, she wrote, “Hey my sweet babies. Okay so this weekend has truly been something special in Memphis. CATSUIT WEEKEND. I just wanted to share with my OLDER TENDERS that YES WE CAN PUT IT ON. And not try to be a YOUNG TENDER. I am 53yrs young. And working towards another 53!!!!!! Y’all I LOVE US 4REAL.”
Fans seemingly loved the looks just as much as Mo’Nique and let her know in the comments. One person said, “Slayyyyeddd my entire timeline🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏😍😍.” Someone else said, “You reigned supreme Mo’…stunted hard on the people! L 👌🏽👑🖤🔥,” and another wrote “you look sooooo amazing!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍”
It is not clear what events she went to exactly in Memphis but she expressed that she had a “beautiful time.”
Dr. Dre to present radio legend Big Boy with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame!
After nearly 30 decades in radio, Kurt “Big Boy” Alexander of Real 92.3’s “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” will get his own Hollywood star. The legend will receive the honor in the category of radio in front of the Amoeba Music record store in Hollywood Boulevard after a few words from presenter Dr. Dre.
Big Boy started his career deejaying at parties and serving as bodyguard for 90s hip hop group The Pharcyde before he befriended The Baka Boyz, who were morning show hosts at L.A.’s “Power 106” KPWR. With no internship experience, the personality took on a gig where he was responsible for hosting nights and afternoon, eventually earning buzz for his morning show.
After 20 years, the show — which is now called “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” — moved to Real 92.3 and became syndicated by Premiere Networks, while the personality won multiple Personality of the Year awards and was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2015.
Despite his accomplishments, however, Big Boy revealed that he was surprised by the news that he’d be getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“Even through my career in being in radio for the last 27 years, it was never any, there’s some things where you’re like, ‘Oh I wanna get this’ or ‘Hopefully I wanna get that,’ but a star was totally something that I would, I didn’t think that was going to be possible for me,” he told KTLA 5. “And not that I thought, ‘Oh you’re not worthy,’ I just didn’t think that I would have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It wasn’t one of those things where I was in my head like, ‘One Day.’ And I got a lot of thoughts, and they come true, but that one, not at all.”
Aa a fan of Dre, Big Boy said that it was “huge” for him to know that the West Coast legend was willing to present him with a star. He also expressed excitement about hearing George Lopez, who also agreed to talk about him during the ceremony.
Big Boy is slated to receive his Hollywood star tomorrow (Sept. 8) on his 52nd birthday.
“‘Big Boy’ is L.A.’s pride and joy and a hero to his listeners,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “We are thrilled to honor him on his special birthday and welcome him to our Walk of Fame family.”
The NAACP Sues Texas Over New Voter Suppression Law!
Via press release from the NAACP: Today, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF), Reed Smith LLP, and The Arc filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of the Houston Area Urban League, Houston Justice, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and The Arc of Texas challenging S.B. 1, a new Texas law targeting voting rights.
S.B. 1 includes a series of suppressive voting-related provisions that will make it much harder for Texas residents to vote and disenfranchise some altogether, particularly Black and Latino voters and voters with disabilities.
The lawsuit, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, argues that S.B. 1 violates the First, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution and Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act by intentionally targeting and burdening methods and means of voting used by voters of color.
The Plaintiffs also claim that the law violates the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Section 208 of the Voting Rights Act by imposing voting barriers that will discriminate against voters with disabilities and deny people with disabilities full and equal opportunities to participate in the state’s voting programs.
The lawsuit challenges multiple provisions in SB 1, including:
Limitations on early voting hours and a ban on 24-hour voting.
The elimination of drive-thru voting centers.
The prohibition of mail-in ballot drop-boxes.
Limitations on the distribution of mail-in ballot applications.
Limitations and possible penalties for voter assistants, including criminal felonies.
Kirk Franklin's Son Kerrion Accuses His Mom Of Abuse And Assault During Livestream!
Earlier this year, Kirk Franklin’s son, 33-year-old Kerrion, called out the gospel singer and leaked a phone call where Kirk used explicit language and yelled.
via: AceShowbiz: On Sunday, September 5, Kerrion was live-streaming with his family, claiming that he was “protecting” himself. “I’m ’bout to go to my grandmother’s house. I’m being abused right now, I was assaulted by my own mother,” said the 33-year-old, admitting that his mom tried to take him to the hospital.
During the exchange, Shawn Ewing gave a friendly wave to the camera and said that her son was looking for attention by going on live stream with such harsh allegations. In the clip obtained by The Neighborhood Talk, Kerrion’s mom appeared to be calm, denying his assault accusations. She said that he was “causing a scene.”
Kerrion’s accusations came after he posted audio of his father cursing him out in March. At the time, Kerrion said, “[Kirk] got the recordings I didn’t record him without him knowing he knows I’m always recording and still provokingly talks to me wild very often too often.”
Of Kerrion’s allegations, Kirk himself explained to Tamron Hall what led to his very public fallout with his son. Revealing that his son has had issues that took him “in and out of counseling and therapy for over 20 years,” he claimed that Kerrion became “more aggressive” as he became “a grown man.”
Kirk further claimed that he had “been trying to rally for years to try to help” his son. The 51-year-old gospel singer added that his relationship with Kerrion “can become very agitated and very frustrated.” Though the counseling and therapy didn’t seem to be successful just yet, he said, “I’m not going to stop trying to help, you know, he’s my son.”
Kirk then denied Kerrion’s allegations that he had abused him. “And again, as he’s gotten older, his disrespect has become more aggressive. But I’m confident that his mother, myself, Tammy, my family, there’s never been anything physical that concerns me, or even makes me uncomfortable because I know the truth, he knows the truth, and I love him,” he said. He then stressed, “I’m confident that there hasn’t been any physical abuse.”
Though Kirk denied the accusations, he had apologized for it. “Recently, my son and I had an argument that he chose to record. I felt extremely disrespected in that conversation and I lost my temper, and I said words that are not appropriate,” he explained. “I am sincerely sorry to all of you, I sincerely apologize.”
This family needs healing.
Caitlyn Jenner Speaks On Abortion Law: “I Support Texas In That Decision”!
If you’re wondering why Caitlyn Jenner is trending once again, that’s because she’s sharing her thoughts on another controversial topic.
On Tuesday, Jenner, who is running for governor of California in a recall election said she supports Texas’s new abortion law — saying that while she supports “a woman’s right to chose,” she also supports Texas.
“I am for a woman’s right to choose. I am also for a state having the ability to make their own laws,” Jenner explained during an appearance on CNN’s “New Day.” She added, “So I support Texas in that decision, that’s their decision,” Jenner said. “But as far as being a woman’s right to choose, I don’t see any changes in our laws in California in the future.”
As we previously reported, Texas’ new law blocks abortions six weeks after a pregnancy, when a number of women do not even know that they are pregnant. The move came after the Supreme Court and a federal appeals court failed to rule on pending emergency requests brought by abortion providers.
Other states are even now considering enacting abortion laws similar to Texas, with Florida announcing last week that it would like to replicate the bill.
Naomi Osaka Launches Skincare Line KINLÓ For People Of Color!
Naomi Osaka can add brand founder to her long list of achievements. The tennis champion officially launched KINLÒ, a range of sun care products specifically designed for melanated skin.
Osaka developed KINLÒ to combat the myth that those with darker skin tones can't get skin cancer and therefore don't need to use sunscreen.
It's a misconception that has far-reaching effects on both the skincare industry and the field of dermatology, leaving people of color — particularly, Black people — without products suited to their specific needs.
Sunscreen is typically formulated with ingredients that leave a chalky cast on the face, deterring non-white customers from using it. And dermatology textbooks often lack photos of dark skin, leading conditions such as skin cancer to go undiagnosed in Black patients.
"Through my personal experience and learnings, I have found that Black, brown, and other melanated skin-toned communities are often an afterthought in the discussion and research surrounding sun care, including being excluded from clinical studies on skin cancer," Osaka elaborated in a statement.
To address the inequity, the athlete teamed up with dermatologists to formulate an SPF 50 that won't leave any white residue behind. The result is Golden Rays sunscreen, a serum-like product that blocks UVA and UVB rays using zinc oxide, a sun-reflecting ingredient that's often responsible for sunscreen's dreaded white cast — unlike other sunscreens on the market, though, KINLÒ's is tinted with a bronzy shade that blends into all skin tones seamlessly.
There's also a hydrating mist that soothes sun-exposed skin and an eye cream that tackles age spots and discoloration, issues that melanated skin is more prone to.
Amid a sea of celebrity beauty brands, KINLÒ stands out — it fills a gap in the market that desperately needed addressing. Customers don't necessarily need more lip kits (Kylie Jenner's got that covered), but sunscreen that people of color can actually use is an underserved product category that Osaka has wisely, and admirably, tapped into.
Last week, Osaka announced that she is taking an indefinite break from tennis. If KINLÒ is any indication of what her new pursuits have in store, we can't wait to see what's next.

Mercedes-Benz is Developing a Car That Can be Operated by Mind Control!
Mercedes-Benz is working on a new vehicle that can be driven using your mind.
The luxury automotive company has developed a brain-computer interface (BCI) device. This gadget is made of electrodes and will help run the vehicle by being installed at the back of the user’s head. Once in place, the BCI will then read the brain waves after a brief calibration process. A digital dashboard will include multiple dots that conduct different duties. A driver will only need to focus on the dot that performs their desired task. The neuronal activity in the brain will then increase and be recorded by the device, activating the function.
The Mercedes Vision AVTR, a concept automobile exhibited at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, will incorporate this latest innovation. The company calls this milestone driving experience “the future of mobility,” which merges technology, humanity, and nature.
The mind-controlled car will come with vegan leather In its interior, compostable battery technology, and an organic plastic alternative.
Mercedes will give a sneak peek into how mind control can operate vehicles of the future at the IAA Mobility Expo from September 7th to 12th in Munich, Germany.
