Christina Aguilera needed prayers when she sang The Prayer!
Just like the rolls of fat pressed under the straps on the back of her dress, Aguilera singing was painful to watch. She was excellent in her soft upper register but when she started belting random notes in the song I was utterly confused.
Christina Aguilera is blessed with a unique ability to transform any song into a roller coaster ride of pointless vocal runs and high notes. A good example of this was observed when she teamed with her pupil Chris Mann to cover Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli‘s ‘The Prayer’ on ‘TheVoice’ Monday night
Using the exact same vocal runs that she employs in every song, Aguilera sang the gentle ‘The Prayer’ similar to her previous hit ‘Fighter’. Don’t believe me? Watch her perform the balland with Mann on ‘The Voice’ below:

It is hard to believe Aguilera when claims to listen to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey because they are brilliant interpreters of music. Yet, maybe she does follow their work and the problem is that she simply doesn’t pay attention because her people lying about how good she sounds while screaming her high notes are just too loud.
If you don’t understand my points then watch Dion and Bocelli sing ‘The Prayer’ the correct way below:
