#MAGFAB: Keke Palmer for Glamour - July 2022

Keke Palmer covers the latest issue of Glamour magazine - as photographed by Lea Winkler and styled by Justin Hamilton.

On what Palmer wants people to take away from the upcoming film 'Nope', she shares: "We expose ourselves to so many spectacles online that it can sometimes alter the way we think about things positively or negatively…. And this movie does it in a unique way that’s fun, exciting, and within the horror genre.

Although the audience is going to see the spectacle viewpoint. They’re also going to see the viewpoint of grief and siblingship, and they’re going to see the viewpoint of film and how the people behind the film should be more acknowledged. I’m excited to see everyone’s biggest takeaway because it represents how you see and view the world. It’s interesting that how we view art says more about us than it does the art itself, and I think that’s the coolest thing Jordan does."

#RHOA: Kenya Moore on Her Namesake Hair Care Line and 10 Years on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’

Kenya Moore is known for many things. She was at one point Miss USA 1993 and then an actress, but currently she’s best-known for being one of the unstoppable “Real Housewives of Atlanta” as well as a businesswoman running her own brand.

Moore currently heads Kenya Moore Hair Care, a line she launched in 2014 after realizing it was difficult to find products that were efficient in keeping her hair strong and healthy, especially with her past experience on pageants and sets.

“I finally thought, ‘You know what? I am going to develop something one day and do my own hair care line so people who have hair like mine can take care of their hair,’” she told WWD.

Since its debut, the brand has taken off, with some of its products flying off the shelves. Before Moore even officially sold one product, the website had pre-sold around $15,000 worth of product. She recalled, “It was so overwhelming, but it was great because people really believed in the product and they wanted to try it.”

Kenya Moore Hair initially started on its official e-commerce site, though now it’s available in retail giant Sally Beauty and, as of this February, CVS Pharmacy.

Some of the brand’s best-sellers include the Growth Repair Shampoo, Growth Repair Conditioner, Restorative Growth Mask and the Moore Hair Supplement, the latter of which is currently sold out.

“I think the unique perspective of what makes mine different is the real focus on growing your hair back and getting it healthy and vibrant again,” Moore said. “Specifically, the unique blend of ingredients took years to formulate and it’s proven — we know that they work. It also works on all hair types, not just a specific focus on any particular hair type.”

During the 14th season of “RHOA,” which is currently airing Sundays on Bravo, the television personality opened up to ShereΓ© Whitfield, a fellow housewife, regarding the recent challenges her hair care brand has faced and how it was in jeopardy.

According to Moore, the business was going at an upward trajectory, with high demand in Sally Beauty stores in both the U.S. and the U.K. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, hiccups emerged, including shipping delays and scarcity of employees.

“It seemed like everything just shut down,” Moore said. “We weren’t able to keep up with the orders. We were losing employees, lost track of orders and couldn’t keep track of components, which come from overseas. The delay is like maybe four or five months before you can even get a bottle. If you don’t have that, you can’t fill your orders, and they just kept coming.

She continued, “At some point, we were having these serious conversations with our, at the time, only retailer about the logistical problems and that our sales are not what they were. It felt like we were being put on probation — if we can’t get it together by this amount of time, that might mean that they have to drop us from their stores.”

However, matters have since turned around as business has picked up at a steady pace. According to Moore, her brand is not yet where it needs to be, which might take a few more months, but she’s at least able to keep products on the shelves.

This year also marks a decade since Moore joined “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” as a main cast member.

“It’s just been an incredible roller coaster ride emotionally, physically, spiritually,” she said. “Being that I’m 10 years in, I’d have to say, it’s just been a roller coaster ride. I don’t know another way to really explain it.”

With each new season, the storylines, outfits and humor continue to become increasingly dramatic, which never makes for bad television. The current season of “Atlanta” is no different, according to Moore. “The second half of the show is probably better than the first half. It is insane, fun, funny, and there are a lot of people, including myself, in conflict with someone you didn’t even see coming. We have a lot of fun and there’s a lot of tears, too. It’s a great season, honestly. It’s one of the best seasons of ‘Real Housewives’ I’ve seen in a long time.”

She added, “We’ve always delivered great seasons.”

#MusicNews: Sean Kingston And Chris Brown Team Up On 'Ocean Drive'

Sean Kingston reunites with Chris Brown on his new single “Ocean Drive.”

On their first collaboration in nearly a decade, the duo drops the top and rides out. The feel-good summer bop samples Eugene Wilde’s “Gotta Get You Home Tonight,” which Foxy Brown and Backstreet sampled on “Get Me Home.”

“Ocean Drive” follows Kingston’s single “Rihanna (Umbrella)” and arrives ahead of his new album Deliverance, which is also set to feature NBA YoungBoy, Swae Lee, and Trippie Redd.

You can expect more feel-good music on the project, which has the “old Sean Kingston vibe, but just more mature.” “Feel-good music, feel-good pop, a lot of Caribbean vibes mixed with Afrobeats, but also a little R&B sprinkles in there,” he told Rap-Up.

But first, he is set to drop his mixtape, Road to Deliverance. He can also be seen on his “Road to Deliverance” tour, which runs through August.

Additionally, Chris can be heard on “Welcome Back” off Joey Bada$$’s new album 2000.

#HipHopNews: Rolling Loud Miami Addresses Kid Cudi Bottle Throwing Incident

MIAMI, FL – Rolling Loud Miami got off to a rocky start on Friday (July 22) when newly booked headliner Kid Cudi ended his set after fans threw various items at him, including a water bottle. On Saturday (July 23), the company issued a formal statement on social media, asking for peace.

“Rolling Loud is a family,” the statement began. “Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone. We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!”

Kid Cudi was added as the festival’s Friday headliner when Kanye West backed out without giving a formal explanation. In turn, he became the first performer to ever pull out of a Rolling Loud show despite months of planning by the Rolling Loud team.

In a cruel twist of fate, Ye did show up onstage in Miami as a surprise guest of Lil Durk, performing “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” a song originally featuring Kid Cudi on the chorus.

Cudi, however, took the stage in earnest on Friday but a select few people in the crowd weren’t in the mood to see him. In a video shared on social media, Cudi tells the crowd he would abandon the show if one more item was thrown his way.

“If I get hit with one more fucking thing, if I see one more fucking thing on this fucking stage I’m leaving,” he said, only for a member of the crowd to oblige him and throw a water bottle in his direction. Right on cue, Cudi walks off stage while the audience boos him. In a video uploaded to Reddit, the fan in question who threw the bottle can be seen tossing the item at Cudi, forcing the walk-off.

Rolling Loud Miami concludes Sunday (July 24) with a headlining performance from Kendrick Lamar and appearances from  Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Baby Keem and A$AP Ferg, among others.

#RIP: Paul Sorvino, ‘Goodfellas’ and ‘Law & Order’ star, dead at 83

Paul Sorvino, an imposing actor whose roles ranged from the mob boss in “Goodfellas” to an early stint on the long-running cop drama “Law & Order,” has died, according to his publicist Roger Neal. He was 83.

Sorvino died on Monday of natural causes with his wife Dee Dee by his side. Dee Dee Sorvino issued a statement through Neal, saying in part: “Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino.”

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sorvino earned a Tony nomination for his role in “That Championship Season” (reprising the role in the film version) and appeared in a long list of movies that included portraying Henry Kissinger in “Nixon,” “Dick Tracy,” “Reds,” and “The Rocketeer.”

Sorvino attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and had thoughts of becoming an opera singer before making his Broadway debut in the mid-1960s. His first movie was the comedy “Where’s Poppa,” followed by “The Panic in Needle Park,” opposite Al Pacino.

Sorvino is perhaps best remembered for director Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” as Paul Cicero, the mobster who even in prison retained a passion for cooking and fine cuisine, thinly slicing garlic with a razor blade. (Sorvino and his wife later co-wrote the book “Pinot, Pasta, and Parties.”)

The actor took a role in “Law & Order” as one of the detectives but soon left, citing the limited range of the material.

Sorvino is survived by his wife and three children, including actress Mira Sorvino, and five grandchildren.

Mira Sorvino wrote on Twitter on Monday, “My heart is rent asunder- a life of love and joy and wisdom with him is over. He was the most wonderful father. I love him so much. I’m sending you love in the stars Dad as you ascend.

Rollie Bands, a rapper from Tampa, Florida, was shot and killed outside of his home after posting text to his Instagram directed at any enemies. The post read:

“A lot of these n***as [know] where I live at fr. I sleep in peace. If a n***a want smoke, I’m at my crib in five [minutes.”

Shortly after, people who knew where he lived showed up and shot him outside of his apartment.

Mike Tyson says he’s going to die ‘really soon’

Mike Tyson believes he’s not long for this world. The 57-year-old former heavyweight champ was having a discussion with therapist Sean McFarland guest DJ Whoo Kid on his “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” podcast when the subject of mortality came up.

“We’re all going to die one day, of course,” Tyson said. “Then, when I look in the mirror and I see those little spots on my face, and I say, ‘Wow, my expiration date is coming close, really soon.’”

The discussion also touched on money, which Tyson said “don’t mean s— to me.”

“What is security?’ he said. “I don’t know. When you put money in your bank and you get a cheque every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security?

“It doesn’t mean you won’t catch a disease, or get hit by a car.”

The Devil Stays Busy, Thieves Rob Flashy Pastor of $400K in Jewels During Live-Streamed Church Service

Three thieves were caught on tape barging into a Brooklyn church on Sunday where controversial bishop Lamor Whitehead — an ally to Mayor Adams — was preaching and snatched $400,000 worth of jewelry off of him and his wife.

via: New York Post

Targeted Rolls Royce-driving Bishop Lamor Whitehead last made news in May — when he tried to negotiate the surrender of an accused subway shooter but authorities separately nabbed the suspect.

On Sunday, Whitehead was in the middle of his sermon at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie around 11:14 a.m. when three masked gunmen burst in, police said.

“How many of you have lost your faith because you saw somebody else die?” Whitehead asked his congregation — right before spotting the armed intruders.

“All right, all right,” Whitehead then said several times before hitting the floor on his hands and knees.

The men took $400,000 worth of jewelry from Whitehead, his wife and possibly churchgoers, according to police. Whitehead, dressed in a maroon suit with a gold-trimmed collar and sleeve cuffs, was wearing a long gold chain and a large ring on each finger at the time.

The robbers fled East on Avenue D after the crime.

Forever First Lady, Michelle Obama, is a welcome season of bright energy as she prepares for the release of her new book, THE LIGHT WE CARRY: Overcoming in Uncertain Times. Slated to arrive on November 15, the book is a follow-up to her New York Times #1 bestseller, Becoming.

That process of reflection actually led me to start writing again […] This book is a collection of stories and practices that have helped me sort through all the challenges and questions that keep us up at night: How do I know I’m good enough? How do I bring my whole self to the table? How can I overcome my fears?”

Prince and DaniLeigh Had A Workplace Friendship, The Songstress Reveals

DaniLeigh has been in the game for a minute, revealing she received a co-sign from the legendary Prince to kickstart it all.

The songstress paid a visit to the Breakfast Club to support and commemorate her newly released seven-song EP, My Side. DaniLeigh sat down with Charlemagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee to discuss her new project, astrological signs, among other topics, until she was asked about her relationship with the Purple One.

The Movie singer detailed her humble beginning, explaining how she met Prince, him co-signing her and in what capacity she worked with the late legend.

“I was super cool with [Prince]. I used to run his Instagram, his Princestagram. That was my first job. I used to post the pictures and make the captions,” the “My Terms” singer expressed. “If you go look at the page, it’s still up; that was me posting everything. He would send me the pictures.”

“I used to do Vine a lot,” Dani said, speaking on the now defunct social media app. “He used to like my Vines; I guess they were pretty funny. I was 18. I knew he was the legendary Prince, but it hit me when he passed. I had a song with Prince; I directed a video with Prince. And we communicated through Twitter DMs.”

The seven-song project features the fan-favorite track, “Dead To Me,” which received the music video treatment on July 12.

The “Dead To Me” visuals show the singer in an open grassy field, levitating above it all, dancing on an opaque floor piece, and embracing her baby.

DaniLeigh uses the song to declare that her ex-lover is no longer a priority in her life due to treating her horribly throughout their relationship.

#BoxOfficeNews: Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ Opens to No. 1 With $44 Million

Audiences responded with a resounding “yep” to Jordan Peele’s science-fiction thriller “Nope,” which topped the box office with its $44 million debut.

Those ticket sales were slightly behind projections of $50 million and fall in between the results of Peele’s first two films, 2017’s “Get Out” (which opened to $33 million) and 2019’s “Us” (which opened to $71 million). “Nope” may not have cemented a new box office record for Peele, but it demonstrates the director’s popularity at the movies and marks a strong start for an original, R-rated horror film.

In fact, “Nope” stands as the highest opening weekend tally for an original film since “Us” debuted more than three years ago. Yes, that includes Quentin Tarantino’s star-studded “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which started with $41 million in July 2019.

“The opening isn’t as big as ‘Us,’ but it’s still extremely impressive,” says David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research. “The weekend figure is far above average for the genre.”

It’s worth noting that Peele’s sophomore feature “Us,” a scary story about menacing doppelgΓ€ngers, enjoyed an especially huge opening weekend because it followed the runaway success of the Oscar-winning “Get Out.” After his directorial debut captured the zeitgeist by delivering scares while encouraging audiences to think, fans of the filmmaker were more than a little eager to watch Peele’s next mind-bending nightmare. Though Peele still has outsized goodwill with audiences, box office expectations for “Nope,” another anxiety-inducing social thriller, should have been comparatively a little more Earth-bound.

“Nope” cost $68 million, which is significantly more than “Get Out” (with its slender $4.5 million budget) and “Us” (with its $20 million budget). So the movie will require a little more coinage than Peele’s past films to turn a profit. Word-of-mouth will be key. “Get Out” and “Us” were wildly successful in theaters, with each collecting $255 million at the global box office. “Nope” does not open at the international box office until mid-August.

“Nope” reunites Peele with “Get Out” star Daniel Kaluuya — and adds Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun to the mix — in the story of siblings who live on a gulch in California and attempt to uncover video evidence of a UFO. Critics were fond of “Nope,” which holds an 82% on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences gave the film a “B” grade, the same CinemaScore as “Us.”

Universal’s president of domestic distribution Jim Orr points out that “Nope” is appealing to all demographics; according to exit polls, 35% of ticket buyers were Caucasian, 20% were Hispanic, 33% were African American and 8% were Asian. He says that’s a good sign in terms of its theatrical run.

“We’re thrilled with the results this weekend,” Orr says. “Jordan Peele is an incredible talent. His films are layered and thought-provoking and ridiculously entertaining.”

Since “Nope” was the only new movie to open this weekend, several holdover titles rounded out North American box office charts.

Disney’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” slipped to second place after two weeks in the No. 1 spot. The Marvel adventure added $22.1 million (a 53% decline) from 4,370 locations, taking the film’s domestic tally to $276.2 million. Globally, the fourth “Thor” movie has grossed $598 million and will imminently cross the $600 million mark. It’s already out-earned at least one of its predecessors, 2011’s “Thor” ($449 million globally), and it should soon pass 2013’s “Thor: The Dark World” ($644 million globally). However, it still has a ways to go to match (or beat) 2017’s charmer “Thor: Ragnarok” ($853 million).

Another Universal movie, “Minions: The Rise of Gru” took third place with $17.7 million from 3,816 venues. After four weeks on the big screen, the animated family film has earned $297.8 million in North America and $640.2 million worldwide.

Sony’s literary adaptation “Where the Crawdads Sing” landed at No. 4 with $10.33 million from 3,650 locations. With its better-than-expected debut last weekend, the mystery-drama has amassed $38.3 million to date.

“Where the Crawdads Sing” beat “Top Gun: Maverick” by a hair. Paramount’s blockbuster sequel pulled in $10 million from 3,160 theaters in its ninth weekend of release, bringing its domestic tally to a massive $635 million. “Maverick” recently overtook “The Avengers” ($623.3 million) to become the ninth-highest grossing movie in domestic box office history. Since the “Top Gun” sequel has not made less than $10 million in a single weekend, industry experts believe the movie has enough juice to soon pass the No. 7 and 8 slots, which respectively belong to “Titanic” with $659 million and “Jurassic World” with $653 million.

At the indie box office, A24’s “Marcel the Shell With Shoes On” continues to expand at a snail’s pace. The movie, about a resilient inch-tall seashell (voiced by Jenny Slate), collected $846,950 from 590 venues, its widest theater-count to date. So far, “Marcel” has grossed $2.8 million.

Keke Palmer Claps Back at Comparison to Zendaya Over Colorism

Keke Palmer is firing back. After the release of her new movie Nope, a tweet started circulating claiming that there is a big difference in popularity between the 28-year-old actress and Zendaya, saying that it is “one of the clearest examples of how colorism plays out in Hollywood.”

The Twitter thread also pointed out that Keke and Zendaya, 25, are both former child stars, but that some people are considering Nope to be Keke‘s breakout role.

After catching wind of this conversation, Keke took to social media to fire back and defend herself and her career.

“A great example of colorism is to believe I can be compared to anyone,” Keke tweeted on Sunday (July 24). “I’m the youngest talk show host ever. The first Black woman to star in her own show on Nickelodeon, & the youngest & first Black Cinderella on broadway. I’m an incomparable talent. Baby, THIS, is Keke Palmer.”

She followed up with, “I’ve been a leading lady since I was 11 years old. I have over 100+ credits, and currently starring in an original screenplay that’s the number one film at the box office #NOPE. I’ve had a blessed career thus far, I couldn’t ask for more but God continues to surprise me.”

Nope obviously isn’t Keke‘s first major role. She starred as the titular role in Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, VP and had starring roles in movies including Akeelah and the Bee, Hustlers, and Pixar’s Lightyear. She also had one of the lead roles in Fox’s series Scream Queens.

Keke was also one of the co-hosts on ABC’s Good Morning America‘s third hour show Strahan, Sara & Keke. She has also won an Emmy award and five NAACP Image awards.

Elon Musk Shuts Down Reports He Had Affair with Google Founder Sergey Brin's Wife Nicole Shanahan

Elon Musk is setting the record straight. On Sunday (July 24), it was reported that the 51-year-old Tesla CEO, and the world’s richest man, had an affair with his billionaire friend Google founder Sergey Brin‘s wife Nicole Shanahan in December last year.

After the reports went viral, Elon released a statement about the reported affair.

Elon tweeted. “I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.”

In the original story, friends claim that Elon and Nicole’s affair led to Sergey‘s divorce filing in January 2022.

At the time, Sergey cited “irreconcilable differences” in divorce papers. The couple share a daughter, who was born in 2018, and he asked to share custody of her as part of the divorce arrangements.

‘Aquaman’ Star Jason Momoa Involved In Head-On Collision With Motorcyclist, No Serious Injuries Reported

Jason Momoa was involved in a head-on collision with a motorcyclist in California on Sunday, but luckily, nobody was left with any serious injuries in the crash. The incident, according to TMZ, occurred while the “Aquaman” star was driving on Old Topanga Road — which is in close proximity to Calabasas — when a biker traveling in the opposite direction came into contact with Jason’s vehicle.

The 42-year-old apparently didn’t see the motorcyclist because they came around a round curve, limiting the actor’s visibility. Sources say that as the two vehicles collided, the motorcyclist landed on Jason’s windscreen but managed to get back on their feet after the crash.

Insiders add that the biker was still taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated for minor scratches, a bruised leg, and a small injury to their thumb while Jason, on the other hand, managed to get away from the crash unharmed.

Elsewhere, earlier this month, it was reported that the father-of-two had split from actress Eiza GonzΓ‘lez, whom he dated for four months, according to PEOPLE. The pair enjoyed a rather private romance out of the spotlight, just weeks after Jason had announced his separation from his estranged wife Lisa Bonet in January.

But from what’s been gathered, his relationship with Eiza has run its course, and the pair both agreed to call it quits though they certainly had a lot of love for one another. “They’re just very different people,” one person close to the situation told the news publication.

“They love each other very much having dated quietly for some time before it became public. They are in different life stages.”

As the source already mentioned, Jason and Eiza are no longer together, but there seems to be hope that they may reconcile somewhere down the line. “Right now it’s not a very serious situation and they’re both just seeing where it goes,’ a source said last month. They’ve been spending time together when they can and making it work between their two busy schedules.”

Entire North Carolina Police Department Resigns After A Black Town Manager Is Hired

Attention is being called down to North Carolina as Kenly Police Chief Josh Gibson and his entire police department resigns after hiring its new Black town manager back in June 2022.

Entire North Carolina Police Department Resigns After A Black Town Manager Is Hired

It’s reported that Kenly will soon be without full-time police officers allegedly due to its new town manager Justine Jones, who officers claim is creating a “stressful” and “hostile” work environment.

In his resignation letter, Chief Gibson says that “I have truly enjoyed working for The Town the last four years. Due to the current situations and the stress in the work area lately, my main concern is my health, and right now I need to focus on my wellbeing. The work area is very hostile and I will not let myself be around that kind of atmosphere.”

Apparently, he and the department’s four full-time officers put in their two weeks notice. While Chief Gibson turned his letter into Jones, the others sent theirs to the chief.

Officer G.W. Strong sent in a resignation of their own as well. Strong wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I take this action. I have been with the town since 2004 and fully expected to finish my law enforcement career with the Town of Kenly. Unfortunately, there are decisions being made that jeopardize my safety and make me question what the future will hold for a Kenly Police Officer.”

Another employee, Sharon Evans, who works as the town clerk, wrote in her resignation letter about the environment being “stressful.”

Evans wrote, “I will be retiring sooner than I had planned. This is my two weeks notice as of today. I can no longer work under the stress.”

A third employee, Christy Thomas, who works as the utility clerk for the town of Kenly, took to her resignation letter to also speak about “stress” and how her health is her main concern.

Thomas wrote, “I have truly enjoyed working for The Town the last four years. Due to the current situations and the stress in the work area lately, my main concern is my health, and right now I need to focus on my wellbeing. The work area is very hostile and I will not let myself be around that kind of atmosphere.”

The town’s attorney Chip Hewett says he’s never seen anything like this in the 25+ years of him representing cities.

Who is Kenly’s New Town Manager Justine Jones?

Celebrating her new position, the Town of Kenly released a press release in June and said: “Justine Jones has dedicated her career to public service over the last 16 years during which she worked in progressively responsible positions with local governments in Minnesota, Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina. She began her municipal career as the Executive Assistant to the City Manager and National Urban Fellow in the City of Norfolk, Virginia.”

Elsewhere, it also reported that Jones sued her previous employer in Richland County, SC for gender and racial discrimination after a 2015 firing. She ended up voluntarily withdrawing her suit.

Adele Enjoys Yacht Trip as She Continues Italian Vacation with Boyfriend Rich Paul

Adele continued her summer getaway with boyfriend Rich Paul on the Sardinian coastline of Porto Cervo on Saturday.

The Grammy-winner, 34, went for a chic and casual look aboard a yacht with friends, opting for a v-neck black top with high-waisted black pants. The look was completed with minimal makeup, a sleek bun and chunky gold hoops.

Flip flops and a dark shade of nail polish for a sleek mani-pedi brought the whole "summering on a boat" vibe together.

In contrast, sports agent Paul, 40, opted for a bright floral button-down of bold blues, pinks and oranges.

Adele was also seen wearing a stack of three four-leaf clover Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets, worth $4,000 each, with a set of rings on the fourth finger of her left hand.

She sparked engagement rumors with Paul in February when she arrived at the BRIT Awards wearing a gorgeous diamond ring. She's since played it coy when asked about their potential marriage plans.

"As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't. It's lovely though, isn't it?" Adele said of her ring on The Graham Norton Show in February after the talk show host pointed out the jewelry.

The "Easy On Me" singer and Paul have been publicly dating since July 2021, when they were seen together at an NBA Finals game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.

The singer explained, "I was blessed with him and he's just the best. I definitely approached it all with grace, and I think that really paid off," Adele recently told BBC's Desert Island Discs about her relationship with Paul.

Big plans may just be in the chanteuse's future — amid swirling rumors that her previously canceled Vegas residency will start in November, she has also discussed the possibility of having more children.

During her One Night Only concert special on CBS in November, the singer sat down with Oprah Winfrey, where she revealed that she's open to expanding her family in the future.

"I'm definitely open to it," Adele told Winfrey. "I would like more children. It wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't because I have Angelo, but yeah, I think so."

She also spoke about her hopes for her son Angelo, including how she simply wants him to be a "good and happy person."

"I don't expect anything of him," she explained. "I don't care what his career is, as long as he's passionate about whatever it is that he does and that he's happy."

ABC News Correspondent James Longman Marries Alex Brannan in London: 'Mr. and Mr.'

ABC News correspondent James Longman is officially married to his partner, Alex Brannan.

The British journalist, 36, and his former fiancΓ© tied the knot at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday after being engaged for a little over two years. The happy couple recently celebrated their fifth anniversary of being together in January.

"Mr. and Mr. πŸŽ‰," Longman wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the newlyweds walking hand in hand while leaving the building where their wedding ceremony took place.

Longman, who is currently on assignment in Ukraine to cover the ongoing war between the country and Russia, added a small disclaimer, however, writing, "This was just the legal bit."

"Just thought it would be romantic to come back from Ukraine and make it official," he continued. "Big fun wedding next year for all our family and friends :)."

The journalist also shared more images from the special day on his Twitter account with the caption, "Mr and Mr"

Brannan posted the same snap via his Instagram page, writing in his caption: "Don't worry guys, I made him sign a prenup. πŸ€΅πŸ»‍♂️🀡🏼‍♂️."

Longman popped the question to Brannan in June 2020. At the time, he shared a touching video of his proposal, which took place at home amid the coronavirus pandemic, with his social media followers.

"We're engaged," he wrote alongside the clip. "I asked Alex in the garden while his mum filmed, trying to stop his nephew from running over to us. And then the rest of the family came over. There was quite a lot of crying."

In the video, Brannan's mother can be heard explaining the moment to a young boy.

"What are they doing?" the boy asks, as she explains, "James has just asked him to marry him, darling."

After Longman and Brannan embrace, other family members join them in the garden to celebrate the happy news.

Longman reflected on his coming out experience in a personal essay on National Coming Out Day in October 2019. He said he began confiding in friends when he was 16 and finally shared the news with his mother in an email when he was 24.

"If you're reading this, wherever you are, know that your experience, as unique as it may feel now, has been shared by millions through time," he wrote. "Some have had it worse, others have had it easier. But there is a community waiting for you, with love and understanding."

"You'll feel as though your life has only just begun," he added.

Dave Chappelle Surprises as Opener for Chris Rock and Kevin Hart’s NYC Show

Kevin Hart took to Instagram earlier today to reflect on his show Saturday night with Chris Rock at Madison Square Garden in New York City, calling it “by far the best moment of my career.”

Hart reached that conclusion after Dave Chappelle showed up unannounced to open for the two stand-up legends. According to Deadline, the audience was surprised to see Chappelle walk out as his “C” logo was displayed on the screen. “Had to sneak my way in here,” he told the crowd, in an apparent reference to the Minneapolis venue First Avenue canceling the comedian’s appearance last week over the backlash towards the transphobic remarks in his latest Netflix special The Closer.

Chappelle added, “Despite what you may have read about in the news, I’m okay, and I appreciate the support.”

Chappelle spoke for more than 20 minutes, and touched on a number of topics involving him, including the Hollywood Bowl incident where 23-year-old Isaiah Lee jumped onstage and tackled the comedian. Chappelle jokingly said he hopes Lee gets monkeypox, saying, “Not that he should die, but his ass should itch for four to six weeks.”

Rock and Hart followed Chappelle, respectively, before the trio appeared together to determine who was the undisputed G.O.A.T., or Greatest of All Time, among them. An actual goat was eventually brought onstage, leading to the three of them debating who would become caretaker of the animal, which can be seen in one of the photos posted by Hart below.

Hart asserted the moniker belonged to Rock, to which Chappelle responded, “This is the worst night of this goat’s life.” Rock fired back, “He’s just happy he’s not at a Jamaican restaurant!”

“Just know that last night was the true definition of a “EPIC NIGHT” …..I love my brothers more than words can explain,” Hart concluded in his Instagram post. “What we did to the Garden will never be done again….We made history last night!!!!!!!!”

A limited amount of booty balms have been released by the “Marry Me” star on the JLo Beauty website, with a full launch to follow in August.

The drop comes one week after Lopez tied the knot to Ben Affleck in Las Vegas, which she also confirmed in a message written to fans via her newsletter.

Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.”

Tina Knowles says BeyoncΓ©’s daughter Rumi, 5, ‘loves fashion’

Tina Knowles, BeyoncΓ©’s mother, recently revealed that her 5-year-old granddaughter, Rumi Carter, is already a fashionista.

“Rumi loves fashion. She picks out her own clothes,” Lawson, 68, told Oprah Daily.

“We recently went to Disneyland, and she put on her Mickey Mouse shorts. Then she wanted to put on a sparkly printed top which had the same colors. It actually looked really cute.”

But Rumi’s older sister Blue Ivy, 10, wasn’t so sure.

“Blue was like, ‘My mom would be mad because she’s doing too much,'” Lawson recalled. “And Rumi said, ‘This is my style.’ She’s 5. I was impressed.”

According to Lawson, Rumi seems to be cut from the same cloth as her stylish aunt, Solange.

“She wore outrageous stuff, but she has an amazing sense of style,” Knowles said. “So you let them do their own thing. You can’t say, ‘No, this doesn’t go with this or that.'”

Fans can often see Blue, Rumi and her twin brother, Sir Carter, dazzled in fly ‘fits for their mother’s Adidas x Ivy Park campaigns; as the faces of her Ivy Park Kids line, they’ve posed in her Halls of Ivy, Icy Park and Ivy Park Rodeo campaigns.

And the Carter kids aren’t just modeling their mom’s clothes — they’re helping her design them, too.

“They have definite determination about what they like and what they don’t like,” Knowles told the outlet.

“When BeyoncΓ©’s doing the first samples, they get them, and some things they love, and some things you can tell are not their favorite. Kids like things that are comfortable. They don’t want anything that’s scratchy or too tight or high around the neck. So they absolutely give input on the brand. And they wear it — I mean, they are always in Ivy Park.”

Now, Draymond Green is adding fuel to the fire, saying that the 2017 Warriors could have beaten the 1998 Bulls team.

“I’m watching the 98 Bulls vs Utah in the Finas” Draymond tweeted. “I can’t help but notice our 2017 team would’ve beaten these Bulls by a dub and these Jazz by 40 if they’re going to play these brands of basketball. And that’s why it’s dumb to compare Era’s”

He continued to tweet, saying that the 2017 Warriors could have beaten eh 98 Bulls but also the 96 Bulls as well.

“96 Bulls. 98 Bulls. I STAND ON IT!” Draymond continued.

Even after comparing the 2017 Warriors to the 96 and 98 Bull’s, Draymond went on to say how comparing different NBA era’s is “useless” because each era plays the game differently.

“Learn to appreciate things for what they are. Analyze the game. And stop the unnecessary debating. Yours Truly, The New Media,” Draymond tweeted.

Green went on to tweet: “Question… When they be comparing Era’s are they taking into consideration the drastic differences In style of play? Regardless of the answer, it’s very dumb to compare one era to the next era.”

Xzibit’s Estranged Wife, Krista Joiner, Says He Is Lying About His Finances To Avoid Paying Her Spousal Support

Xzibit’s estranged wife, Krista Joiner, claims he is lying about his financial status to avoid paying spousal support.

The former “Pimp My Ride” star and his wife seem to be having a nasty divorce. Joiner says X is not being truthful about his funds and claims he is making it seem like he is broke to avoid paying her spousal support.

In legal documents, Joiner says X’s brother told her he makes $1 million a month from his cannabis company. She alleges his brother even said he personally stored $20 million for X and brought him the cash on demand.

X recently said Joiner is the one lying about her finances. He claimed she went behind his back to purchase a 2021 Bentley, isn’t cooperating with selling their family home, and is living in a mansion with her boyfriend.

However, Joiner calls the allegations cap. She believes X is trying to sway the court’s decision so he doesn’t have to pay her. Joiner says she’s the one in a tight position after losing her job.

Joiner also claims that X ignores her whenever she asks for gas money, food, and haircuts for their son. She even said that she had to go through attorneys to get X to pay for their kid’s inhalers.
