MAGFAB: Lizzo Covers British ELLE Magazine

Lizzo covers the September 2022 issue of British ELLE magazine photographed by AB+DM and styled by Georgia Medley and Jason Rembert.

On deciding to start with shapewear: “More than any piece of clothing, shapewear can make people feel ways about their bodies and, most of the time, it’s bad. I want to revolutionize shapewear. I want to change how people think when they hear the word ‘snatched.’ I don’t want people to ever have to deal with a girdle again in their lives.”

On social media: “I don’t need social media; social media needs me. Social media literally needs people to function. I don’t need to go on the internet and feel better about stuff anymore. I have a therapist. I have best friends. I have an amazing team around me who I can talk to. I got love.”

On feeling conflicted during the pandemic: “It was hard for me to find meaning, being an entertainer, while people were dying at a high rate,” she says. “I had to remember, when we come out of lockdown, people are going to be coming out of a depression. And the end of lockdown does not signify the end of their mental-health struggles. So I wanted to make music that people can use as a soundtrack to survive. That was the driver for this album.”

#RHOA: Is Shereé Is Secretly Seeing #LAMH’s Martell Holt?

The Internet seems to think that “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Shereé Whitfield might be back on the dating scene following her ugly split with her white-collar crimes crush and you won’t believe whose name is being thrown in the mix…

NoireTV has rumors swirling that the housewife is being Huntsville humped to smithereens by Martell Holt.

The outlet shared eyebrow-raising “proof” of the housewife seemingly holding hands with “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star that the worldwide web just can’t get enough of. The video featured cell phone footage captured by a bystander who allegedly filmed the reality TV stars allegedly going into the same public restroom with one another. Another clip purportedly showed the rumored couple getting into an SUV together.

Now, can you tell whether or not that’s the #RHOA star with the #LAMH star? We for sure can’t–BUT adding fuel to the fire are several photos floating around of Shereé shmoozing with close friends of Mr. Holt.

Showbiz CheatSheet pointed out that the personality recently hung out with Dr. Christopher Fletcher, who, if you remember, helped counsel Holt and his ex-wife Melody Shari before their divorce.

Some rumors allege that the star and Holt recently went on a double date with Dr. Fletcher and his wife, but no pictures have surfaced from their alleged outing….. as of yet. All that exists are TikTok photos of Shereé with the loving couple.

Fans of the #RHOA star are warning her to be careful with the wine entrepreneur, given his history of infidelity.

Earlier this month, the Alabama native spoke out further about cheating on his ex-wife for seven years with his mistress Arionne Curry. Holt said in the end, the affair that resulted in the birth of a child wasn’t worth jeopardizing his marriage.

He added that he messed things up with a woman who was giving him “85 percent” [Melody] for a woman who was giving “15 percent” [Arionne].

“I think that was very foolish of me to do such a thing,” the businessman confessed during a “CheMinistry Rejection Panel” panel discussion alongside Jason Lee, Tammy Rivera and other personalities.

“At that time, I wasn’t thinking like, oh my wife, she’s giving me 85 percent, and she’s giving me 15 or whatever. I wasn’t thinking like that. If I would have thought like that, I don’t want that damn 15 percent. I’ma stick in this house and sit my a– down somewhere. But that wasn’t the case. I think that I just wasn’t thinking,” he added.

On July 17, Shereé stopped by Watch What Happens Live to chat with Andy Cohen. When asked about her love life following her heartbreaking split from Tyrone Gilliams, the She By Shereé clothing CEO confirmed that she was “getting to know someone in particular.”

#HipHopNews: Nicki Minaj Says Her New Album Will Be 'Epic'

After performing at festivals including Essence and Wireless, the rap queen is gearing up to drop her new single “Freaky Girl” and fifth studio album. On Friday, she opened up about the project while checking in with her Barbz ahead of the first episode of her relaunched Queen Radio show.

“The album is gonna be fu**ing epic,” she said of the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Queen. “I was listening to the songs yesterday and I just was falling more and more in love with the way everything is feeling right now, in relation to the music and to my fans.”

She has realized to trust the process and not overthink. “I do think at some point I probably was doing a lot of overthinking and waiting and yada yada yada,” she continued. “And then I realized, it’s so important y’all to have fun with life and as I always say, be in the moment, try to be in the moment. And do your best.”

And she is not interested in gimmicks, only giving her fans the best music while pushing herself as an MC.

“I don’t really worry about it anymore. I used to. But now I realize, I just have to give my fans music that they f**k with, give them the reason why they started fu**ing with me in the first place. And I will rely on that. I’m not gonna rely on anything else. I don’t have any fu**ing gimmicks. I don’t have it. I’m gimmicked out, bitch.”

“Freaky Girl,” which samples Rick James’ “Super Freak,” drops Aug. 12. The day before, Nicki will launch her new Queen Radio show on Amazon’s live audio app Amp.

Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Comments About Women Being Raised To Be Men Garners Mixed Reactions: He said You Are Climbing The Corporate Ladder But We Are Losing Our Families

Bishop T.D. Jakes stood firm on acknowledging that women need men no matter what they say.

Recently, social media reacted to Bishop T.D Jakes’ lecture on some homes being broken because of women trying to prove they don’t need their men. Bishop T.D Jakes, born Thomas Dexter Jakes Sr., said:

“This breaks all sociological orders of the culture we’re living in now because we are raising up women to be men.  And you are not applauded for your femininity. You are applauded in the contemporary society by how tough, rough, nasty, mean, aggressive, hateful, possessive you are, and you are climbing the corporate ladder but we are losing our families. I know you can buy your own car, I know you can buy your own house, but until you create a need that I can pour into I have no place in your life. So stop coming home bragging to me about how much you don’t need me and wonder why I shy away.”

Social media was flooded with mixed reviews about Jakes’ ceremony. Some thought everything Jakes’ taught in his lesson was accurate.

Others thought the ceremony was wasn’t deep and Jakes is teaching women that they don’t have to be independent because they have a significant other.

Some reacted to the video saying that author and filmmaker’s sermon was something we all needed to hear, while others thought it was repetitive.

What are your thoughts on  Bishop T.D Jakes’ sermon on broken homes in the Black community?

Kim Burrell Will Not Step Down From Church Role & Is Receiving Counsel From Pastor

Kim Burrell is sticking to her calling, and getting guidance from her pastor moving forward.

Gospel singer Kim Burrell caused a stir of controversy online after insensitive comments she made in church about “broke people” and “walking by faith without a mask and no vaccine.”

Burrell and her pastor, Dr. Mike Freeman of Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Baltimore, Maryland both sat down for a recent interview, discussing her return to church and remorse for her remarks.

Freeman addressed the backlash, expressing that people shouldn’t kick someone when they’re already down:

“We all love her, but we are not going to tolerate anyone speaking to us any type of way.”

“We don’t shoot our wounded soldiers. We nurse them, we provide covering for them.”

When asked if she will return to speaking, Kim answered:

“I am submitted to the call that is on my life. So with engagement, someone’s invitation or no, I am sure that I’ll have to do this again because it is my calling to do so.”

She also apologized in the interview, after a poor public response to a written apology via social media. Burrell said:

“I’m sorry is the most important thing that needs to be heard from me. And my heart is what I want the people to understand.”

Social media users have been sending Kim Burrell backlash ever since her remarks in church were made public last weekend. However, one user found and posted online documents that suggest Burrell herself received a Coronavirus-related PPP loan last year, after mentioning people who received them in her now-defamed sermon.

#WAKANDAFOREVER! ‘Black Panther 2’ First Trailer Unveils Marvel’s Emotional Return to Wakanda and War With Namor

Marvel is bringing fans back to Wakanda in the first trailer for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”‘

The trailer is strung together with a lyrical motif of “We gonna be alright” from Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright,” moving between images of Wakanda’s aquatic environments, futuristic technology and what appears to be a funeral with crowds of Wakandans dressed in white.

“I am Queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone,” Angela Bassett’s Ramonda declares.

A question lingers over the trailer: who will take on the mantle of the Black Panther? A figure is seen in the hero’s suit at the end of the trailer, though it isn’t clarified who is in the costume.

The footage debuted at the conclusion of Marvel Studios’ massive panel at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday evening, introduced by a group of traditional African singers performing a fanfare for the follow-up’s panel.

Writer-director Ryan Coogler, who helmed the first “Black Panther,” then took the stage to discuss the sequel, reflecting on the death of the series’ former star, Chadwick Boseman. Boseman, who played lead T’Challa, died in August 2020 after a private, four-year battle with colon cancer.

“It’s going to be hard to follow that up, but we’ll try,” Coogler said. “It’s been five years since I was here. I sat about there and we premiered the first footage from ‘Black Panther 1,’ and sitting next to me was our T’Challa, the late great Chadwick Boseman.”

Coogler shared that Boseman was squeezing the director’s shoulder while watching the first footage. “I promise you, I can feel his hand on me right now.”

Coogler also offered some information on the sequel, saying “it goes to new places in Wakanda that we haven’t seen before and it goes to new places in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

“Black Panther” stars Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba and Winston Duke were then introduced by Coogler on the Comic-Con stage.

“It’s a labor of love, and I have so much gratitude to be a part of it and be able to share it with you,” Duke said of the sequel.

“It’s a blessing. We’ve all grown so much as a family, and it feels great to see you guys and honor big bro at the same time,” Wright said.

Series newcomers such as Michaela Coel, Dominique Thorne, Alex Nivilani, Mabel Cadena and Tenoch Huerta, also joined the panel. Huerta will portray Marvel Comics favorite Namor, the Submariner in the film.

“I’m excited and I’m so happy to be here,” Huerta said. “I want to say something really fast about inclusion. I come from the hood and, thanks to inclusion, I’m here. I wouldn’t be here without inclusion. A lot of kids in the hood are here looking at us dreaming to be here. And they’re going to make it! They’re going to make it!”

Coel commended the musical performance that opened the panel, stating that “It feels really special seeing the drummers and dancers. It reminded me what an honor it was to support this cast.”

Wright spoke to Variety in May about the significant impact Boseman’s passing had on the cast, stating that the new film is “an incredible honor” to the late actor.

“We honored him by committing ourselves to the story that he started, the legacy that he started with this franchise,” Wright told Variety. “And we just committed every day to working hard, no matter what circumstances we faced — and we faced a lot of circumstances, a lot of difficult situations — but we came together as a team, and we poured everything into this movie, so I’m excited for you to see it.”

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be released in U.S. theaters on Nov. 11.

George Clooney and Gladys Knight are among the 2022 Kennedy Center honorees

The recipients of the 45th Kennedy Center Honors have been announced.

The performing artists recognized for their lifetime contributions to American culture include actor and filmmaker George Clooney; contemporary Christian and pop singer Amy Grant; venerable gospel, soul and R&B star Gladys Knight; Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, conductor and educator Tania León; and four Irish musicians you may know best as the rock band U2.

In a statement, bandmates Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. said they consider America a home away from home.

"In December 1980, we made our first trip across the Atlantic to America," they wrote. "We had big dreams then, fueled in part by the commonly held belief at home that America smiles on Ireland. And it turned out to be true, yet again. But even in the wilder thoughts, we never imagined that 40 years on, we would be invited back to receive one of the nation's greatest honors. It has been a four-decade love affair with the country and its people, its artists, and culture."

Tania León's love affair with U.S. culture began when she arrived as a refugee from Cuba on a "Freedom Flight" in 1967. Now an American citizen, León's contributions to classical music have long been celebrated. This recognition, she said, is particularly meaningful. "Little did I imagine when studying in La Habana that life was going to grace me with such a distinction!" León said in a statement. "My first thoughts went to my ancestors: they believed in my dreams, and what we lacked in material wealth, they made up for in spirit, encouragement, and support."

The Honors are designed to raise money for the Kennedy Center as well as recognize talent and produce an entertaining few hours of television; the annual ceremony is slated for Dec. 4, to be broadcast later on CBS and streamed on Paramount +.

"For nearly a half-century, the Kennedy Center Honors has represented the very best of America's creative culture," said Deborah F. Rutter in a statement announcing the winners. "Now, as the Center completes its yearlong 50th anniversary celebration, I cannot help but think that the Kennedy Center's namesake would surely smile at this celebration that brings us closer to his vision of 'an America which will reward achievement in the arts as we reward achievement in business or statecraft.' "

Ricky Martin Performs for The First Time After Incest Case is Dismissed

Ricky Martin made his first public appearance since winning a big court victory against his nephew.

via: Page Six

“Are you really having a good time,” Martin, 50, asked the crowd before performing with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra, as per TMZ.

“All I want is for you to forget all your issues tonight and just focus on love and light and let’s just have a good time. Are you ready Los Angeles to have a good time?”

The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer then proceeded to give the crowd a show without mention of the controversial court case.

Martin’s 21-year-old nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez — who is the son of Ricky’s half-sister Vanessa Martin — previously alleged that he and the “She Bangs” singer were in a seven-month relationship, and that the artist stalked him after they broke up, leading him to file a restraining order.

This week, however, Sanchez withdrew the claims against his famous uncle, resulting in the case being dismissed.

“The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter,” lawyers Joaquín Monserrate Matienzo, Carmelo Dávila and Harry Massanet Pastrana said in a joint statement.

Martin later addressed the “devastating” case himself, sharing, “Thank God these claims were proven to be false, but I’m going to tell you the truth, it has been so painful and devastating for me, for my family for my friends. I don’t wish this upon anybody.

“I wish him the best and I wish he finds the help so he can start a new life filled with love and truth and joy and he doesn’t hurt anybody else,” Martin added.

Martha Stewart Mourns Deaths of Her Peacocks After They Are Killed by Coyotes

Martha Stewart is devastated by the the loss of her beloved peacocks.

The lifestyle guru, 80, took to social media to share that her "beautiful BlueBoy" and other pet birds were brutally killed by coyotes.

"The coyotes came in broad daylight and devoured him and five others including the magnificent White Boy," she wrote on Instagram on July 23, along with a video of the peacock displaying his dazzling feathers. "Any solutions for getting rid of six large and aggressive coyotes who have expensive tastes when it comes to poultry??"

Taking precautions, Martha shared that she is no longer allowing her peafowl out of their yard and would be enclosing the top of their large yard with wire fencing.

A bonafide animal lover, Martha has had a menagerie of pets over the years. The Martha Knows Best host has had several dogs including Chow Chows named Genghis Kahn, Chin Chin, Paw Paw, Max, Empress Qin, Emperor Han and Zu Zu and French bulldogs Francesca, Sharkey, Bete Noire and Creme Brûlée, according to her website. She's also had many cats over the years, from her first cat, Chiggi—who was adopted from a shelter—to Himalayans Vivaldi and Verdi. She also has cats named Uncle Vanya, Weeny, Teeny and New Kitty.

In addition to her peacocks, Martha has also raised canaries, chinchillas, chickens, cows, geese, miniature donkeys, pigeons and horses.

"Raising animals is serious business, and I try very hard to be a good owner to each and every one," she shared in a 2020 article on her website. "Some respond in friendly ways, some are more aloof, and others don't make a show of knowing me at all. But I think they all understand that I care about their needs and recognize their problems."

She added, "Each of my pets takes a great deal of attention, and some require more training than others. But the rewards far outweigh the effort."

Back in April, Martha publicly mourned the death of her cat, Princess Peony, who was killed by her own dogs.

"Burying the beautiful and unusual Princess Peony," Stewart wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the cat's burial. "The four dogs mistook her for an interloper and killed her defenseless little self. I will miss her very badly."

Snoop Dogg’s Legal Team Not Worried About Woman Who Refiled Her Sexual Assault Lawsuit After Dismissing The Case

Snoop Dogg’s attorneys aren’t worried about the sexual assault lawsuit a woman has refiled, just months after she dismissed the case in February. Days before the 50-year-old was set to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Snoop was caught up in legal drama with the accuser, who used the pseudonym Jane Doe in court documents obtained by Radar Online.

In her initial lawsuit, the woman, who is believed to be a dancer and model, claimed she had attended Snoop’s show in Orange County in 2013, where she was introduced to his friend Bishop Don Juan. He’s said to have offered her a ride home after the concert, which she accepted, but after falling asleep in the car, Jane Doe eventually woke up and realized she had been taken to Bishop’s house instead.

Bishop is alleged to have sexually assaulted the woman after “repeatedly shoving his penis into Plaintiff’s mouth” before taking her to Snoop Dogg’s studio the next day where she said she was defecating on the toilet when the Long Beach native walked in and forced her to perform oral sex on him too. Snoop’s legal team says they are ready to prove “the falsity of these allegations” while a representative added, “It follows Jane Doe’s attorney’s voluntarily dismissing just a few months ago her previous complaint on the alleged matter. He also dismissed an earlier complaint – this is the third try.”

“The complaint refiled today against Snoop Dogg by ‘Jane Doe’ and her attorney is meritless.”

The statement continued, “As before, this refiled complaint is riddled with and predicated upon falsehoods and inaccuracies. Moreover, as Jane Doe and her attorney know or should know, Jane Doe has never been Snoop Dogg’s employee. Snoop Dogg looks forward to proving the falsity of these allegations.”

Meanwhile, attorneys for Jane Doe have since shared some words of their own following the refiling of the lawsuit, telling the Los Angeles Times, “We have obtained new information which we believe adds significant credibility and corroboration to the alleged scheme of Defendants and the alleged acts they took against my client and others.”

Snoop has yet to respond to Jane Doe’s decision to come after him again after dismissing the case earlier this year, but judging by his attorneys, it wouldn’t appear as if the rapper is bothered by the lawsuit.

The World Health Organization Declares Rapidly Spreading Monkeypox Outbreak A Global Health Emergency

The World Health Organization declared the Monkeypox virus a public health emergency of international concern.

So What Exactly Does It Mean? It means that the WHO now views the outbreak as a large threat to global health and because of the international response is needed to prevent the virus from spreading further and potentially escalating into a pandemic.

Now, the U.N. agency declined last month to declare a global emergency in response to monkeypox. However, infections have increased substantially over the past several weeks, which eventually made WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus push the issue to the highest alert.

“We have an outbreak that has spread around the world rapidly, through new modes of transmission, about which we understand too little,” Tedros said. “For all of these reasons, I have decided that the global monkeypox outbreak represents a public health emergency of international concern.”

As we previously reported, one man in California claimed he contacted COVID-19 and the Monkeypox at at the same time! Mitcho Thompson, a cannabis salesman in Sebastopol, says he has been infected with COVID and monkeypox at the same time in the first known case in America. He told NBC News Bay Area that he tested positive for the pandemic virus back in late June after feeling ‘wiped out’. Days later, he noticed red lesions that started to appear across his back, legs, arms, and neck, which he said doctors diagnosed as monkeypox.

What Is Monkeypox?

According to the CDC, “Monkeypox is a rare disease caused by infection with the monkeypox virus. Monkeypox virus is part of the same family of viruses as variola virus, the virus that causes smallpox. Monkeypox symptoms are similar to smallpox symptoms, but milder, and monkeypox is RARELY fatal. Monkeypox is not related to chickenpox.” The CDC added that “The first human case of monkeypox was recorded in 1970. Prior to the 2022 outbreak, monkeypox had been reported in people in several central and western African countries

As NBC News reports, more than 2,300 cases had been confirmed as of Wednesday afternoon, up from 700 on July 8. So far, case have been reported in 43 states and the territory of Puerto Rico. Washington, D.C., leads the nation with about 19 cases per 100,000 residents. That is followed by the states of New York, Illinois and Georgia.

WWE chief Vince McMahon to retire amid probe into misconduct claims

(Reuters) -World Wrestling Entertainment Inc's Vince McMahon said on Friday he would retire as the company's chief executive and chairman, about a month after stepping back from those roles due to an investigation into his alleged misconduct.

McMahon, 76, was being investigated by the board for agreements to pay $12 million over the past 16 years to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity, the Wall Street Journal had previously reported. https://on.wsj.com/3PtSOdb

McMahon last month pledged to support WWE's investigation. He did not address the probe in Friday's statement.

WWE, which produces and distributes weekly wrestling shows "Raw" and "Smackdown", named his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, as the interim head in June.

Vince McMahon has been the powerhouse behind the wrestling entertainment company, transforming it from a regional player in a highly fragmented industry of the 1980s to a global giant, with about $1 billion in revenue in 2021.

He used scripted matches, celebrity wrestlers and glitz to make the brand more acceptable to television audiences and created the concept of pay-per-view matches for bigger events such as "WrestleMania" to build its revenue base.

The company was also dogged by controversies under his stewardship, including charges of steroid use.

"Our global audience can take comfort in knowing WWE will continue to entertain you with the same fervor, dedication, and passion as always," the departing company chief said in a statement.

"As the majority shareholder, I will continue to support WWE in any way I can."

McMahon was the top trending topic on Twitter in the United States, with many WWE fans expressing shock at the sudden announcement.

WWE declined to comment on McMahon's retirement and did not respond to requests for comment about the probe.

The company's shares are up 34% for the year as it benefits from the return of audiences at its live events.

Police Chief Fired After Racist Recording Leaks: ‘I Shot That N****r 119 Times’

A Mississippi police chief was terminated this week after he was allegedly caught on tape using racist slurs, as well as bragging about the number of people he’s shot.

According to the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting, newly leaked audio features the voice of a white man who claims to have killed more than a dozen people in the line of duty, including one Black individual whom he shot over 100 times. The outlet reports the man in the recording was identified as Sam Dobbins, the white police chief of the predominantly Black town of Lexington.

“I have killed 13 men in my career, justified,” the man is heard telling another officer in the recording. “In my line of duty, I have shot and killed 13 different people.”

He proceeded to detail one specific shooting that took place in a field: “I shot that n****r 119 times, OK? I saved 67 kids in a school. I chased this motherfucker across the field. I got him. He was DRT [dead right there] in the field. The vehicle was shot 319 times, but he was hit 119 times by me.”

The man claimed he was quickly cleared by the sheriff’s office after the fatal shooting, and immediately received his gun back.

The recording, which also included the use of homophobic slurs, was captured and provided by Robert Lee Hooker, a former Lexington officer who resigned from the department last month, citing “a toxic work environment.” Hooker reportedly gave the recording to the civil rights organization JULIAN; the group’s paralegal Cardell Wright described Dobbins’ alleged remarks as “appalling, racist, hateful and detrimental to the welfare of the people.”

“This recording proves that the oppressors no longer wear white sheets, but they wear law enforcement uniforms,” he told the outlet.

On Wednesday, the Lexington Board of Alderman voted 3-2 to fire Dobbins. Charles Henderson is now serving as the interim police chief.

When pressed about the number of people he’s killed while on the job, Dobbins told MCIR he wouldn’t discuss the issue. He also denied using racist and homophobic slurs: “I don’t talk like that,” he said.

Rihanna to Take On the Hair Industry, Files Trademark for ‘Fenty Hair’

*Rihanna’s company Roraj Trade, LLC has filed a trademark for Fenty Hair, which will include products such as wigs and hair extensions.

The singer and make-up mogul is eyeing the billion-dollar hair industry by offering “hair bands, barrettes, picks, bows, clips, pins, ribbons, scrunchies, nets, hair extensions, wigs and hair curlers,” E! News reports.

Fenty Hair will join Rihanna’s other lucrative businesses, including Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty. The brands have made Rihanna the youngest self-made female billionaire in the U.S., according to Forbes.

RiRi is also the first billionaire in her native Barbados. She is the only woman under 40 on Forbes’ 2022 list of female billionaires in the U.S.

“The money means that I can take care of my family,” she continued. “The money means that I can facilitate the businesses that I want to. I can create jobs for other people.”

Previously, after being declared a billionaire, Rihanna spoke about achieving the milestone in an interview with New York Times. After news of Fenty Hair hit social media, one fan person tweeted, “Now Fenty Hair is something I can get behind!!!! Rihanna has always had the best hairstyles!.” Many other fans responded to the news by calling for the artist to release new music.

For the past year or so, Rihanna has teased that new music is on the horizon.

“I’m looking at my next project completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before. I think this way suits me better, a lot better,” she told Vogue. “It’s authentic, it’ll be fun for me, and it takes a lot of the pressure off.”

The clip also confirms that the series will return to its home turf, as Season 3 saw Earn (Glover), Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield), and Van (Zazie Beetz) embark on a European tour.

The news arrives several months after FX CEO John Landgraft revealed that Season 4 would be Atlanta’s final season during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in February. At the time, Landgraft also revealed that Season 4 had already been shot.

“The fourth and final season is slated to debut in the same manner this fall,” Landgraf said. “The new season is everything you’ve come to expect from Atlanta, which is to say, expect the unexpected. Sit back and enjoy the trip.”

During the same panel, Glover opened up about the ending of Atlanta.

“Death is natural,” he explained. “When the conditions are right for something, they happen, and when the conditions aren’t right they don’t happen. Things start to get weird… you can’t do too much. The story was always supposed to be what it was and the story, it really was us.”

Mural Commemorating Young Dolph Vandalized Ahead Of Its Completion

A mural commissioned by late rapper Young Dolph’s family and the Ida Mae Foundation has been vandalized ahead of its completion.

The artist, Cameron Hill, said he was hired to paint the mural to honor the rapper for his birthday. Hill wrote that he had been receiving threats and that a “certain group of individuals have been trying to ruin my art career and tarnish my name since last year.”

Hill said that despite receiving intimidating calls and texts from the individuals, he would finish the job.

“One thing for sure I don’t fear no man, and I’m not going to tuck my tail and run,” he wrote. “I stand on what I believe in.”

Surveillance footage from a nearby business showed two people throwing paint on the mural. A paint can was left at the scene.

The mural is located in South Memphis, where the rapper shot the video for “100 Shots.”

Dolph was gunned down outside of Makeda’s Cookies in November of last year. Two people have been charged with his murder.

Alabama Man Says He’s Going To “Put a Bullet” In President Joe Biden

An Alabama man is behind bars after threatening to assassinate President Joe Biden.

John Bazor, a resident of Mobile, phoned the White House on July 10th at 9:37 p.m. and brazenly told the operator that he was coming to kill Biden.

“I am coming to assassinate the president. I can’t wait to see your faces when I put a bullet in him,” Bazor said during the call. The man continued harassing government officials by visiting Mobile’s U.S. Secret Service office and leaving multiple threatening voicemails the weekend before he called the White House. A civilian tenant in the same building as the local Secret Service office reported seeing a man resembling Bazor in the lobby on July 8th, claiming that the agency had ruined his life. He also called the State Department and the CIA.

On Monday, Secret Service agents located Bazor in a motel on Satchel Paige Drive. According to the complaint, he admitted that his phone number was used to make the call to the White House. When asked why he wanted to harm Biden, Bazor initially said he didn’t before admitting that he indeed wanted to assassinate the president.

Bazor’s mother told agents that her son struggled with meth addiction, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. She stated that she’d tried to get him help on numerous occasions. He’d previously threatened to blow up the Towne Place Suites in Mobile and was admitted to Providence Hospital but was released shortly after. Bazor’s mother says she fears her son and sleeps with her keys in her pillowcase so that he doesn’t try stealing her car.

The 37-year-old has not shied away from his hate for Biden. He urged Facebook friends to sign a petition for Biden’s impeachment.

A judge has ordered a psychiatric evaluation to decide if Bazor is competent enough to stand trial. He remains in jail, charged with making threats against the president. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.
