#MAGFAB: Cynthia Erivo for Vogue UK - August 2022

Cynthia Erivo is speaking up for LGBTQ+ rights. The Oscar-nominated actress, 35, opened up about her sexuality and the pressures of being in the community during her interview for British Vogue's August 2022 Pride issue, which features Erivo and 11 LGBTQ+ creatives as its cover stars.

In the issue, Erivo admits it took a long time for her to share that she is bisexual. "[LGBTQ+ people] still feel the need to be constantly justifying why we deserve to be treated as equal beings, when really the only difference is that we love differently and we express ourselves differently," she said.

The star of the upcoming Wicked movie continued, "Rather than being chastised for that, we should be commended for being brave. That's the most important thing: giving people the space to show up fully as who they are."

The Harriet star also gave advice to those wanting to help the community, but not knowing how to: "Find their queer family and sit and chat with them."

Erivo took to Instagram on Saturday to celebrate the cover. "Nerves and fear have gotten in the way of sharing all of who I am, and today with #pride and with wonderful people beside me I'm sharing a little more," she wrote in the caption.

"Thank you @edward_enninful for giving me the space and loving on me," she said, thanking the British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful. "Thank you @giselle_makeup and @earlsimms2 and @caprihakeem for making me feel beautiful."

The Grammy-winner finished by saying it was, "a dream come true to grace the cover of @britishvogue with incredible people."

Before speaking with the fashion magazine about being bisexual, Erivo previously talked about being queer in an interview with the Evening Standard in 2021.

"It's not necessarily autobiographical," she said, referring to her music video for "The Good," which portrays a same-sex relationship. "But I am queer".

"I have never felt like I necessarily needed to come out," Erivo explained, "just because no one ever really asked."

She continued, "People make assumptions. No one's ever really assumed that I'm straight! I don't think anyone thinks of me as a person that has relationships that aren't platonic! So I've never needed to even really discuss anything about my sexuality at all."

The August issue of British Vogue is available on newsstands and via digital download from Tuesday 19th July.

#MusicNews: P!nk Turns Haterade Into ‘Irrelevant’ Song

P!nk is turning hate into art. The singer known for not holding her tongue revealed on Tuesday night (July 12) that she is in the process of transforming some recent criticism she’s gotten on Twitter into a new song.

“Woke up. Got heated. Wrote song. Coming soon,” she tweeted alongside what appeared to be the handwritten lyrics to a new track called “Irrelevant.”

“I think it might rain today/ Ash on the ground/ Took all the heat we could take/ AND THEN BURNED IT DOWN,” read a few lines of the in-process tune. It appears that the singer is reacting to some blowback she got in June when she posted a sharp response to the conservative-majority Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade case that protected a woman’s choice to have an abortion.

After a number of commenters essentially told P!nk to shut up and sing, after a two week break the singer returned to Twitter and posted a 16-second video this week that read, “irrelevant #shutupandsing #challengeaccepted,” while staring directly into the lens at close range. “You can call me irrelevant, insignificant, you can try to make me small,” she crooned a cappella while squinting into the camera, holding her fingers close together, smiling and adding a string of playful da-da-da-da-das.

Though the point seemed to be about playfully taking down her critics, P!nk’s fans were so into it that a number pleaded in comments for her to record and release the snippet as a song. She seemingly listened, though at press time it was not known when the song will be released.

#HipHopNews: T-Pain Thinks Tupac Shakur Would’ve Gotten ‘Ate The F*!K Up’

T-Pain thinks if Tupac Shakur were still alive, he would've gotten washed lyrically by today's rappers.

On Monday (July 11), T-Pain joined DJ Akademiks for a live video on Twitch and dropped a controversial opinion. During a conversation about how old-school rappers would fare in the age of social media, the "I'm Sprung" rap-crooner said if Tupac Shakur were still around to pop off the way he did in the 1990s, his legacy would be a lot different than it is currently. In fact, Pain is of the belief that by 2022 standards, the iconic West Coast MC's bars couldn't hold a candle to what rhymers are offering these days.

"I feel like, and I'm not gon’ lie to you, this gon’ be some bullshit," said T-Pain. "’Pac would've got killed sooner and he would've got his ass ate the fuck up lyrically."

When Pain was taken to task for his bold statement on the live stream, the Florida native doubled down on his opinion.

Pain continued: "Lyricism-wise, ’Pac would've got ridiculously murdered. ’Pac was a crazy lyricist in our time because ain't nobody else have no platform. If the platforms are what they are now, ’Pac would've got ate the fuck up ... What we look at as ’Pac's greatest lyrics right now is peanuts to what we hear today."

With that, however, T-Pain did somewhat clarify his thoughts when he mentioned that he considers the late "Dear Mama" spitter to be a better poet than an MC.

"’Pac is a full fuckin' poet. ’Pac was one, if not the, one of the greatest lyricists at the time. But if we would've had social media back then and everybody would've had their opinion, there would've been way the fuck more disrespectful niggas at the time. Niggas would've been dying to be more disrespectful than ’Pac."

Ironically, T-Pain's comments come almost a year to the date of his comments calling out new rappers for all sounding the same.

Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's first wife, dies at 73

Ivana Trump, the first wife of former President Donald Trump and the mother of his three eldest children, has died, her family said on Thursday. She was 73.

“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” Donald Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, his social media platform. “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump,” her children said in a statement. “Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.”

According to ABC News’ New York affiliate, police responded to her residence on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she was found dead at the bottom of a set of stairs.

ABC reported that her death is not considered suspicious, and police are investigating whether she may have fallen. An initial report from ABC said police believed she died of natural causes.

Ivana Trump, nΓ©e Zelnickova, was born on Feb. 20, 1949, in Czechoslovakia, and became a competitive skier.

In 1971 she married Alfred Winklmayr, an Austrian ski instructor and friend, so she could obtain Austrian citizenship — and leave the communist Czechoslovakia, according to her lawyer at the time. They divorced in 1973.

She then moved to Canada, working as a ski instructor and model.

She met Donald Trump during a modeling trip to New York City in 1976. They were married the following year.

The Trumps’ relationship was often fodder for the tabloids. They divorced in 1992, following his affair with actress Marla Maples.

Donald Trump married Maples in 1993. She gave birth to his fourth child, Tiffany, the same year. They divorced in 1999.

In 2005, Trump married Melania Knauss, a Slovenian model and mother of their son, Barron, who was born the year after their wedding.

After her divorce from Donald, Ivana Trump launched several business ventures, including a line of clothing and beauty products, penned a long-running advice column called "Ask Ivana" and published several books, including her 2017 autobiography, “Raising Trump.”

She had two other short-lived marriages, one to Italian entrepreneur Riccardo Mazzucchelli (1995-97), the other to Italian actor and model Rossano Rubicondi (2008-09).

Her wedding to Rubicondi was hosted by Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Ivanka Trump was her maid of honor.

During her ex-husband's 2016 presidential campaign, their relationship again came under scrutiny.

In a deposition from their divorce case that was revealed in the 1993 book “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump” and resurfaced during his White House bid, Ivana accused Donald of rape. He denied the allegation.

Around the time the book was published, Ivana released a statement saying she had “felt violated” but did not want the word “rape” to "be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.”

Daniel Kaluuya Won’t Reprise Role As W’Kabi In ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

Daniel Kaluuya won’t reprise his Black Panther role in Disney and Marvel’s anticipated sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Deadline can confirm. The Oscar winner exited the project due to conflicts with scheduling on Jordan Peele’s horror Nope.

In the original 2018 Black Panther film directed by Ryan Coogler, Kaluuya played W’Kabi—the confidant and best friend of the late Chadwick Boseman’s Wakanda heir T’Challa, who spearheaded security for the Border Tribe.

While plot details for the sequel haven’t been disclosed, Wakanda Forever has been discussed as a film that will continue to explore the world of Wakanda, in the absence of Boseman’s character, while paying tribute to the actor. Cast members coming back for the sequel in the aftermath of Boseman’s 2020 passing include Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett and Winston Duke. Among those joining the ensemble this time around is Judas and the Black Messiah‘s Dominique Thorne.

Production on the new film wrapped back in March. It’s slated for release on November 11.

Peele’s latest film Nope, in which his Get Out star Kaluuya is joined by Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun and more, is slated for release on July 22.

Rotten Tomatoes’ Jacqueline Coley was first to break the news of Kaluuya’s departure via Twitter.

Wanda Sykes on If She'll Ever Host the Oscars Again After Will Smith Incident: 'Oh, Hell No'

Wanda Sykes is addressing whether she'd ever host the Academy Awards again.

Sykes, 58, appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan Tuesday, where she told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that she's not interested in hosting the annual awards show in the future.

"Oh, hell no," Sykes said in response to Seacrest's question, prompting laughs from the show's hosts and its audience.

"I shouldn't say it like that," Sykes added. "You know what, it was an amazing honor and I think it's something that you want to do. You do it once... I don't know if I would want to do it again. It's a huge job, and it took a lot of people to clean me up."

Sykes co-hosted the 94th Academy Awards, held on March 27, alongside comedian Amy Schumer and actress Regina Hall. The show quickly grew most notable for Will Smith's outburst during the live ceremony; Smith, 53, took to the Dolby Theatre stage in Los Angeles and slapped comedian Chris Rock after he took issue with a joke Rock, 57, made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, potentially being in a G.I. Jane sequel, in reference to her shaved head.

On Tuesday, Sykes told Ripa, 51, and 47-year-old Seacrest that she was "shocked" when Smith took the stage and slapped Rock.

"It was just like, what is happening? It was just shock," Sykes said. "Couldn't believe it. Shocked. And then it was like… 'okay, so everybody's going to just sit here?'"

Sykes has been critical of Smith in the months since the incident. In May, Sykes told an audience in Orlando, Florida, during a comedy tour stop that she is "still traumatized" over the event.

"I can't talk about it. I get emotional," Sykes said during the performance.

"I couldn't believe he was still sitting there, like an assh---," the star continued, referring to how Smith remained at the ceremony. "Shouldn't you be sitting there with a lawyer or LAPD, motherf-----?"

Added Sykes: "I hope he gets his s--- together. Until then, f--- him."

In April, the Academy banned Smith from attending the Academy Awards for the next 10 years, though Smith is not barred from being nominated or even winning an Oscar during that time period.

As Dave Karger, Turner Classic Movies host and entertainment expert, explained to PEOPLE at the time, "Will Smith's punishment is not as severe as a lifetime ban from the Oscar ceremony but it's still a steep price for him to pay. He is still eligible to be nominated for an Academy Award, as is anyone who works on a project he stars in."

"But," added Karger, "I highly doubt he will hear his name called as a nominee in the near future."

Rock, for his part, has only referenced the incident sparingly since it happened. During a standup set in May at London's Royal Albert Hall, the comedian briefly joked about the lasting effects of Smith's strike.

"I'm okay, if anybody was wondering," Rock said, according to U.K. outlet The Telegraph. "Got most of my hearing back."

"Don't expect me to talk about the bulls---," he also said, The Telegraph reports. "I'll talk about it at some point … on Netflix."

"Your tickets were expensive, but not that expensive," Rock reportedly joked.

Smith resigned from the Academy before it handed down his 10-year ban. He also publicly apologized to Rock, saying that he "reacted emotionally" because the "joke about Jada's medical condition was too much for me to bear."

Smith also has been working on himself, as a source told PEOPLE in April that he traveled to India for spiritual purposes, to practice yoga and meditation.

Nick Cannon ‘Would Not Endorse' Sherri Shepherd Out of Loyalty to Wendy Williams

Debmar-Mercury asked Nick Cannon to support the launch of ‘Sherri,’ but he refused out of support for Wendy Williams, according to a source.

“Nick Cannon would not endorse her out of allegiance to Wendy,” the source says. “He wasn’t cool with how they handled him and how they abruptly canceled his show and hustled everyone out of there and took their computers and s–t.”

Debmar-Mercury canceled “Nick Cannon” after just six months on the air, and the former Mr. Mariah Carey said on his show that the brief opportunity was a “blessing and dream come true.”

Our insider says that Cannon, 41, was “indebted and grateful to Wendy” for giving him a shot on her show, which ultimately led to his “big endeavor,” so the loyalty to her was “undeniable.”

“[Debmar-Mercury] was definitely relying on Wendy’s numbers to propel Nick’s numbers, and they placed a bet with Fox once [the network] got rid of ‘The Real,’” the source adds. “They assured Fox they would get their numbers, and they failed miserably.”

However, a production source tells us, “It’s not true, and Nick was always a pleasure and business professional.”

Reps for Cannon, Debmar-Mercury, Shepherd and Williams didn’t immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.

The end of “The Wendy Williams Show” and road to the debut of Shepherd’s new talk show, “Sherri,” this fall has been nothing but bumpy, with both Williams, 57, and her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, blasting the send-off of her famed show.

“There was nothing I liked about the [the final episode of] ‘Wendy Williams Show,’” Williams told The Post over Zoom this week. “[Debmar-Mercury] didn’t ask me [to appear during the finale], so I didn’t. I sat in my apartment and I watched it. And [I was] like, ‘Eek!’”

Hunter, 50, piled on to the criticism in a recent statement to “Entertainment Tonight,”saying it was a “travesty” on the production company’s part not to have Williams involved.

“It is the first time in the history of talk shows for this to be done, especially for a show that has been on for more than 10 years,” he shared. “There is absolutely no reason why a bigger celebration that involved Wendy couldn’t happen.”

Khloe Kardashian and Ex Tristan Thompson Expecting Baby No. 2 Via Surrogate

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are officially expanding their family.

The Kardashians star, 38, and Chicago Bulls player, 31, are expecting their second baby together via surrogate, multiple sources confirm to E! News. The two are already parents to 4-year-old daughter True Thompson.

"We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November," a rep for Khloe told E! News. "Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."

However, this doesn't mean the duo are back together, a source close to the Good American mogul told E!. In fact, six months after Tristan's paternity scandal, "they have not spoken outside of co-parenting matters," the insider added. "The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December." (The NBA star welcomed Theo with Maralee Nichols last year. He is also dad to Prince, 5, with ex Jordan Craig.)

Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, Pregnant, Baby Bump, 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend Party

Since welcoming their daughter in 2018, Khloe has been candid about her desire to give True a sibling. In fact, during a 2020 episode of Keeping With the Kardashians, Khloe was seen contemplating expanding their family after Tristan suggested they try for baby no. 2, despite their separation at the time. "I might get some embryos and get a sibling," she told Tristan, adding, "I might need to borrow some sperm or get some from you, but we'll figure that out later."

Although the pair have experienced their fair share of up and downs throughout the years, Khloe and Tristan have remained close friends and co-parents, with Khloe remaining committed to keeping the peace for the sake of True.

In fact, during a 2020 appearance on E! News' Daily Pop, Khloe detailed how she and Tristan came to ace the co-parenting game.

"We're doing a great job and I'm really grateful that we're able to," she shared at the time. "I come from a family that... just because people aren't together doesn't mean you have to be rude or they're out of your life."

She continued, "You know, when you can't rely on so many other people's help, it's so great that you have like, essentially he's your partner, he's True's dad. And I need his help more now."

Fast-forward to the following year, when a source told E! about the pair's plans to welcome another baby together. "Khloe knows the value of siblings and growing up in a house full of kids and she wants that for True," the insider told E! News in 2021. "It's something they have been working on for a while."

Brandy Denies Housekeeper’s Claims Of Ageist Discrimination, Refuses To Settle Out Of Court

Back in March, Brandy Norwood was sued by her longtime housekeeper, Maria Elizabeth Castaneda, over wrongful termination and for violating California state labor laws. The singer’s former hire alleged that her dismissal was rooted in ageist discrimination and that she wasn’t provided with the required meal breaks.

Castaneda also claimed that the “Almost Doesn’t Count” singer didn’t pay her for her final two days of work and is seeking over $250,000 in damages and lost wages.

Court documents suggest that Castaneda was not Brandy’s employee, but rather an independent contractor who performed housekeeping duties while the 60-year-old claims to have worked for the Queens star since 2002 making $125 per day.

Brandy’s legal team shared in court that the 43-year-old denies all claims and damages and refuses to settle the matter out of court. Castaneda first filed a complaint with California Fair Employment and Housing before filing the civil lawsuit. The trial is anticipated to take five days in court, but an official date has not yet been set.

Brandy faced a separate lawsuit back in January 2022 when she and her stylist, Ashley Sean Thomas, were sued by designer Elle B. Mambetov for allegedly not returning a borrowed ring she was supposed to wear to the American Music Awards. Brandy’s team refuted the claim by stating “[she] never saw the ring and has no knowledge of it ever being in her presence. It was never a part of her look for the event.”

There is no available update regarding that lawsuit.

Anthony Anderson Calls Emmys Racist For ‘Black-ish’ Snub In Comedic ‘Kimmel’ Monologue

Kenya Barris’ critically acclaimed Black-ish ended in April 2022 after eight years on-air. One of the show’s stars Anthony Anderson expected the Academy to nominate the sitcom for a multitude of nominations for the 2022 Emmy Awards—but that wasn’t the case as the Academy shut the show out, earning only two nominations for Contemporary Costumes and Contemporary Hairstyling.

The actor and comedian served as guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday (July 12) and used the opportunity and platform to air his grievances. Addressing the Academy head-on in a half-joking, half-serious tone, Anderson began his monologue praising Jimmy Kimmel Live for its Outstanding Variety Talk Series nomination. Afterward, the guest host criticized the Academy for snubbing Black-ish.

“I don’t want to bring the mood down, but I do have a bone to pick with the Academy,” said Anderson. “You know who did not get nominated for an Emmy this morning? America’s sweetheart — me. And neither did my show, Black-ish, or my co-star, Tracee Ellis Ross. Can you believe that sh*t, momma?”

To which his mom, sitting in the front row, responded, “Hell nah.” Anderson then jokingly questioned the motives behind the Academy’s decision to shut the critically acclaimed sitcom out.

“Look, I’m not saying the voters were stupid for not nominating me, Black-ish, or Tracee. I’m saying they’re racist.”

After finding solace in history, Anderson ended his criticisms of the Emmy snub by joking about Kangaroo Jack, a movie that featured the comedian and was critically panned upon release.

“You know who else never won an Emmy? Nelson Mandela. I think,” the comedian continued sarcastically. “At least I’ll always have my Oscar for Kangaroo Jack. They can never take that away from me!”

Throughout Black-ish‘s time on air, the sitcom earned twenty-six Emmy nominations. The show’s only Emmy win arrived in 2020 for Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling. Nevertheless, Black-ish managed to snag six nominations in 2021, including a nom for Anthony Anderson as a lead comedy actor, Tracee Ellis Ross as a lead comedy actress, and the show which was nominated for Best Comedy Series.

Anderson and Black-ish were not alone in being shut out by this year’s Emmy nominations. The Academy also forgot others like Yellowstone (Paramount Network), Reservation Dogs (FX), WeCrashed (Apple TV), and Just Like That (HBO Max), as they weren’t nominated at all.

On a brighter note, a slew of Black talent in Hollywood received their first Emmy nomination. Quinta Brunson, Sanaa Lathan, and Sheryl Lee Ralph could potentially take home an award. Brunson has made history as the first Black woman to receive three comedy Emmy nominations.

27-year-old man arrested for raping 10-year-old Ohio girl who was denied an abortion

As previously reported, earlier this month, a 10-year-old rape victim from Ohio was denied an abortion. Because the Supreme Court recently ruled in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade, the child and her family traveled to Indiana to have the procedure done. Twenty-seven-year-old Gershon Fuentes has been arrested in connection to the girl’s rape, according to local news outlet The Columbus Dispatch.

Yesterday (July 12), Fuentes was taken into custody and charged with rape, a first-degree felony in Ohio. Authorities say the man confessed to raping the 10-year-old on at least two occasions. The child’s case received nationwide attention. Earlier this month, while discussing the situation on CNN, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said, “I think we also need to be addressing those sick individuals that do this to our children.” This morning (July 13), Det. Jeffrey Huhn spoke at Fuentes’ arraignment. Huhn testified that on June 22, the girl’s mother alerted Franklin County Children Services about the situation. They then contacted Columbus police.

The detective also shared that the child had the abortion on June 30. According to testimony, DNA from the clinic in Indianapolis is being tested to determine was Fuentes is the father. Saliva samples were collected just before his arrest. Reports add that the accused is believed to be in the United States illegally. In court today, Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Cynthia Ebner set a $2 million bond for Fuentes. Officials deemed the accused rapist a flight risk. They also wanted to ensure the safety of the child. Fuentes is currently held at the Franklin County jail.

Today, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost released a statement following Fuentes’ arrest. “We rejoice anytime a child rapist is taken off the streets,” he said. The attorney general previously stated, “I know the cops and prosecutors in this state.” He added, “They wouldn’t leave him (the suspect) loose on the streets.”

Mario criticizes the U.S. government's response to Uvalde shooting

Mario criticized the United States government and law enforcement for the response to the Uvalde school shooting. A surveillance video shows officers crowding a hallway for over an hour before fatally shooting the gunman. “77 minutes! America cares nothing about you and yours! #StayDangerous. Protect yours at all cost,” the R&B singer wrote on his Instagram story with a screenshot of the unearthed footage. He continued in the next slide, “All of these cowards should be held accountable! Fucking useless! How do your wives sleep next to you at night?”

But that wasn’t all Mario had to say regarding the Uvalde school shooting: “All the money spent on gear, training, etc. for what if you can’t protect children! We (US) can go to fucking Syria to bomb some fucking Isis leader but can’t kill [an] armed homeland terrorist who is literally KILLING CHILDREN!?”

The shocking video was published by the Austin-American Statesman newspaper and came as a surprise to many of the victims’ families, who planned to view it with the Texas House Committee for the first time before it was released publicly. The publication lightly edited the video to conceal a child’s identity and remove the sound of the children screaming.

“We get blindsided by a leak,” Angel Garza, the mother of a 10-year-old Uvalde shooting victim, told CNN. “Who do you think you are to release footage like that of our children who can’t even speak for themselves, but you want to go ahead and air their final moments to the entire world? What makes you think that’s OK?” On Wednesday morning, Uvalde County Commissioner Ronald Garza also appeared on CNN’s “New Day” and said, “They just didn’t act. They just didn’t move. I just don’t know what was going through those policemen’s minds that tragic day, but … there was just no action on their part.”

Andy Cohen Backtracks Initial Reaction to 'RHOSLC' Star Jen Shah Pleading Guilty to Fraud

Andy Cohen is changing is tune when it comes to Jen Shah. Earlier this week, the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star plead guilty in her fraud case, admitting that she knowingly mislead victims in the telemarketing scheme.

The 54-year-old Watch What Happens Live host then reacted to Jen pleading guilty, saying at the time, “I don’t know how to feel about this.”

However, on Wednesday (July 13) on the new episode of his Radio Andy SiriusXM show, Andy backtracked his original reaction, and now he’s furious.

“I’m upset and I’m especially upset for her victims,” Andy said. “I’m upset that she lied for so long and claimed to me that she was an example of someone being wrongly accused.”

If you remember sitting there at that reunion and she was so dogmatic about it, that I felt, ‘OK. You know, let this woman have her day in court.’ I’m extremely upset about what she did,” Andy continued. “I’m also upset because, frankly, you get to know someone and you get to like them, you know, when you get to have a personal relationship and you work with someone, you get to like them, you wanna cheer them on and you hate to think that they’re capable of this behavior.”

Zendaya Says She’s Feeling ‘Overwhelmed’ After Making History With Multiple ‘Euphoria’ Emmy Nominations

Zendaya has reacted to the news that she’s broken several records after scooping up multiple Emmy nominations on Tuesday. The 25-year-old received her second Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series nomination for “Euphoria,” subsequently making history by becoming the youngest two-time nominee in this category.

Zendaya, who is also an executive producer on the HBO series, was further nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, which she — once again — broke the record for being the youngest ever female producer nominee. The “Malcolm & Marie” star expressed her happiness in a statement to Vanity Fair, saying, “I’m overwhelmed. It’s absolutely insane.”

“The show obviously means so much to me and so much to everyone who makes it. People put their absolute heart and soul into this, and I am so lucky to share this with all of them. I’ve already talked to so many people on FaceTime, and I have a lot more texts to send out. But I am so proud of our team and the work we do together. I’m very, very proud.”

“Euphoria” received a total of 16 nominations, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for Sydney Sweeney and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for Martha Kelly. Not to mention, Zendaya also received a nod in the category Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for her songs “Elliot’s Song” and “I’m Tired” featuring Labrinth.

Speaking of her creative decision to collaborate with the British singer-songwriter, she told the publication “The intention was just to work with Lab in a deeper sense, and he always creates such a warm environment to collaborate.”

“Whenever we made things on set, it was just about the goal of enhancing the emotional journey of these characters and how to tell the story through another medium—so yeah, I had no idea I would be a part of this today. It’s very cool.”

Earlier this year, HBO announced it had renewed “Euphoria” for a third series, though it remains unclear when production will commence for the next season, given Zendaya’s hectic schedule with multiple movie projects in the pipeline. It’s believed that the cast of “Euphoria” won’t shoot for season three until early next year.

Zendaya previously slammed claims that the show was glorifying drug use, and that her character did not have enough screen time, to which she told Entertainment Weekly, “It was important for certain characters who we didn’t really get to see much of last season having more time to get to know them and explore their characters.

“But it’s kind of also Rue as an unreliable narrator, in the sense that she’s just trying to skate by without people noticing that she’s doing what she’s doing, and trying not to get caught.”

DaBaby’s Former Artist KayyKilo Claims He ‘Belittled Her’ & Put Her In Dangerous Situations

Yikes! DaBaby’s former artist KayyKilo is spilling all the beans of life under his label. Jumping on her IG live, she recalled being constantly “belitted” and put her in dangerous situations, like when his other artist Stunna 4 Vegas allegedly pulled a gun on her.

For those who are unaware, DaBaby owns his own record label called Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment. Under the label, Baby signed KayyKillo and dubbed her the “First Lady” of the label.

However, Kayy is now claiming that things weren’t all they were cracked up to be.

Speaking on her recent departure from the label, Kayy took to her Instagram and went live to address multuple situations that ultimately led her to question her invovlement with DaBaby and his label.

During her IG live, Kayy claims that DaBaby would always belittle her, even before her first ever Rolling Loud concert set.

Kayy said, “My first Rolling Loud, maybe an hour or two before I went on stage, I was told that I was an ‘ain’t sh*t artist’. I was told that ‘I don’t work hard enough’. I was told that ‘I wasn’t good enough.'”

Kayy reveals how it all emotionally affected her. She tried to fight back her tears, but to no avail as it all truly hurt her and put a stain on her relationship with DaBaby.

She claims that despite everything, she never spoke down on him in public, even after she was put in multiple dangerous situations.

After claiming that DaBaby would constantly belittle her, Kayy went on to claim that at the same Rolling Loud event where DaBaby allegedly belittled her, she and Baby’s other artist Stunna 4 Vegas got into it, along with his girlfriend.

Thing apparently escalated so much that it all led up to him allegedly pulling a gun on her in front of Kayy’s daughter.

Speaking on both situations, Kayy said, “That sh*t broke my soul to be told that I was lazy, complacent, and I didn’t do sh*t as an artist on my first Rolling Loud. That sh*t f****d me up. I still didn’t get on the internet. I never got on the internet. When a gun was pulled on me. I didn’t get on the internet. Nobody ever asked me was I okay. It’s hella sh*t I have went through. Police have pulled Draco’s to my face when I’m with y’all. I done got in shootouts with y’all. I never got on the internet.”

Lauren London Opens Up About Life Following Nipsey Hussle’s Death

Lauren London is opening up with some valuable lessons and her perspective on life since the tragic death of her long-time partner Nipsey Hussle. It’s been a long three years, but the actress has found laughter, work, the joy of showers, and getting her nails done.

Speaking with Angie Martinez and being the first guest on the new podcast In Real Life, London gets candid about death describing her emotions at the rapper’s funeral and talks how much her outlook on life has changed.

When discussing death etiquette and the funeral, the actress said, “I just don’t think that we know how to die or accept death, and then we don’t know how to usher people in that transition either.”

She then says sitting in “the front row at the funeral is different,” referring to her late partner’s funeral. London admits it changed her perspective on life.

Regarding limited time on Earth, London wants to be “peaceful, and give peace to others.” Her goals have changed drastically since the death, and she talked about how she doesn’t want to miss her mark.

She adds, “I do think that a lot of my work now might not be in front of the camera, might be behind the camera and encouraging someone else in front of the camera.” She wants to tap into her creative work behind the scenes.

When London had to tell her children about Nipsey passing away, the knowledge she gained from a seminar on death prepared her for the moment. She broke down that using certain words and telling them to embrace their emotions is very important. As for words, she used “transitioned” and encouraged them to write letters and speak openly to their dad.

When discussing her recent work, she has a new film with Kenya Barris, Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, and Nia Long.

London also wants to move from Los Angeles. “It’s too heavy for me right now.” With the murals all over the town of Nipsey and the young children, she doesn’t want to move just yet, but she is ready to move to the dessert and disconnect. When Angie asked her if she could really move from Los Angeles, she answered, “Absolutely.”

“Sometimes I do want to disappear, but I don’t think that’s my calling,” she said.

Finally, she touches on her relationship with the late rapper. Nipsey never wanted her to get lost in his legacy, though she feels she has to because of their 5-year-old son.

“I just try to maintain that what would he do…I’m always thinking like, ‘what would Hussle do in this situation?'”

Angie Martinez’s new podcast has a list of guests, including Mary J. Blige and Joe Budden.

“My song of life is California Love and so I love all that Hip-Hop stuff,” says LaBelle. I’m a balladeer. I love singing ballads and R&B songs, but some of that Hip-Hop stuff just gets in my soul and I had to put that in the show.”

The “New Attitude” legend ended her performance with her all-time fan favorite song, “Lady Marmalade.” She was joined on stage by the effervescent, Debbie Allen, who broke into a dance number that reminded everyone of why she is a legend in her own right. 50 Cent to Star In and Produce Horror Film ‘Skill House’

*50 Cent will star in and executive produce the horror film “Skill House” from Ryan Kavanaugh’s Proxima Media.

The actor/hip-hop star joins an ensemble cast that includes TikTok star Bryce Hall, UFC veteran Paige VanZant, Leah Pipes (Sorority Row), McCarrie McCausland (Army Wives), Ivan Leung (The Tender Bar), Neal McDonough (Yellowstone), John DeLuca (Spree), Caitlin Carmichael (Midnight in the Switchgrass), Dani Oliveros (Roar), Emily Mei (The Download) and Jacob Skidmore (Trinkets), per Deadline.

Bloody-Disgusting reports that the project, written and directed by Josh Stolberg (Spiral: From the Book of Saw), is said to be “a dark satire of social media and influencer culture, exploring how far people will go for online fame.”

“When a young kid from Maryland, like Bryce, with nothing but a cell phone and a ring light, can attract tens of millions of followers on Tik-Tok and Instagram, it evens the playing field for everyone,” Stolberg said in a statement, reported by The Wrap. “But there’s a dark side to this new entertainment landscape, and I’m excited to flip that rock over.”

Kavanaugh tells the site, “This film intends to break the boundary between the short-form social media phenomenon and long-form content. Bryce is one of the most recognized and polarizing influencers with over 50 million followers and will certainly be a crossover star. The film digs deep into the human psyche and the new generation’s thirst for stardom, asking how far they would go? It will be bloody, it will be dark, and it will certainly be talked about.”

Per the Deadline report, additional producers on the project include Alex Baskin and Lifeboat Productions’ Amy Kim and Jaime Burke. Daniel Herther is exec producing alongside Jason Barhydt and Bobby Sarnevesht,

“This film is bursting with mavericks of entertainment, many of them spanning multiple genres and platforms,” said Kavanaugh. “From a global rap and hip-hop music icon to a businessman, actor, writer, and producer – if anyone knows a thing or two about breaking the boundaries, it’s 50 Cent. I’m honored to work alongside him as we watch Bryce do the same with his career.”

“Skill House,” is slated for a 2023 release.

Jackson will next be seen in “The Expendables 4” and the action pic “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.”

Louisiana State Judge Blocks Enforcement Of Total Abortion Ban

The fight for abortion rights in Louisiana has scored a victory, with a state judge blocking another attempt to enforce a near-total abortion ban.

On Tuesday, Judge Donald Johnson halted the enforcement of a statewide law that would prohibit nearly all abortions. Johnson blocked the ban as lawyers representing Hope Medical Group for Women, and other abortion-rights activists pursued a lawsuit challenging the trigger law that went into effect once the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

Kathaleen Pittman, director of the Hope Medical Group, says that the clinic located in Shreveport will resume counseling and abortions. Their two other clinics are located in Baton Rouge and New Orleans and will continue operations.

The complaint originated in New Orleans on June 27th, where a judge granted a temporary injunction blocking enforcement of the ban just three days after the Supreme Court reversed national rights to abortion. Then on Friday, Judge Ethel Julien, also of New Orleans, sent the case to Baton Rouge to be heard at the state level. She concluded that she lacked the jurisdiction to continue the suspension of enforcement because the case was no longer in her court.

State Attorney General Jeff Landry is not pleased with the ruling but vows to continue fighting for enforcement of the abortion ban.

“The rule of law must be followed, and I will not rest until it is. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little bit longer for that to happen,” he wrote on Twitter.

Judge Johnson has scheduled a hearing for next Monday. Joanna Wright, a lawyer for the clinic, is planning on asking for a preliminary injunction during that hearing.
