Lady Gaga for Elle US - December 2019!
Lady Gaga's path to healing involves kindness, both toward herself and others. The singer and actress spoke about trauma, perseverance, and her relationship with her fans in a masterful interview by Oprah Winfrey for Elle's December issue. "I recognized very early on that my impact was to help liberate people through kindness," Gaga said. "I mean, I think it's the most powerful thing in the world, particularly in the space of mental illness."

Gaga has spoken candidly about mental health and the effects of her post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of being raped at 19. In her 2017 documentary, Five Foot Two, she also offered a glimpse into her fibromyalgia diagnosis and experience with chronic pain. "I once believed that there was no way back from my trauma. I really did. I was in physical, mental, and emotional pain," she said. Gaga went on to reveal that she used to self-harm as an attempt to "show people that I was in pain instead of telling them and asking for help." "I say that with a lot of humility and strength; I'm very grateful that I don't do it anymore, and I wish to not glamorize it," she added.
"I once believed that there was no way back from my trauma."
Now, Gaga copes with a combination of medication and dialectical behavioral therapy. "Medicine works, but you need medicine with the therapy for it to really work, because there's a part that you have to do yourself," she said. "This is how I survive. But you know what, Oprah? I kept going, and that kid out there or even that adult out there who's been through so much, I want them to know that they can keep going, and they can survive, and they can win their Oscar."

Though A Star Is Born did, indeed, earn Gaga her first Oscar, she described the experience of portraying Ally as a difficult one. "The character of Ally stayed with me for a long time. I had to relive a lot of my career doing that role," she said. "I have been traumatized in a variety of ways by my career over the years from many different things, but I survived and I've kept going. And when I looked at that Oscar, I saw pain."
As for her highly publicized Oscars performance of "Shallow" with Bradley Cooper, whom she described as a "beautiful father," Gaga said, "Quite frankly, I think the press is very silly. I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars . . . And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out — it was orchestrated as a performance."
"Can you be kind and can you survive?"
Looking toward the future, Gaga is less concerned with "shock art" and having to outdo herself. "I used to just go, 'What am I going to do next to get people's attention?'" Her main focus now is on lifting up her fans and helping them feel seen. "I actually said this the other day on social media. I said, 'I didn't do this for fame, I did it for impact.' And that's the truth." She later added, "It's hard in a world the way that we are; we have a very, very grave history. We're in trouble, and we have been before. But I think life asks us amid these challenges, this hatred, this tragedy, this famine, this war, this cruelty: Can you be kind and can you survive?"

#RHOA: Kenya Moore is hopeful for reconciliation with estranged husband Marc Daly!
Kenya Moore is open to working on her relationship with estranged husband Marc Daly.
“There’s always hope,” Moore, 48, said on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Sunday. “We haven’t filed yet.”

In September, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star announced she and Daly were separating after two years of marriage.
“Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage,” the reality star told People. “My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby.”
On Sunday, the exes reunited for their daughter’s first birthday.
“Happy Birthday @thebrooklyndaly your mommy and daddy love you beyond any words,” Moore captioned a photo of the family on Instagram. “You are light of my life, my whole world and my future. God blessed my existence with you and daddy.”
Moore also said on “WWHL” that her split with Daly was “mutual,” noting the pair have had issues that just “haven’t been worked through.”
“We haven’t worked through things that popped up early on in our relationship and they just got exacerbated by everything else,” she said.

On the Season 12 premiere of “RHOA,” Moore complained that Daly was spending a lot of time working in New York instead of being in Atlanta with their family.

#NewMusic from Deborah Cox ‘Easy Way’!
SHES’ BACK! Deborah Cox is one of those talents from the '90s that, though she's had undeniable hits, still feels like she should've been bigger. So, whenever we get to hear new music from her, we're always going to welcome a listen with open ears. Such is the case with the songstress' latest release, "Easy Way."Deborah — who last wowed us in 2017 with "Let The World Be Ours Tonight" — turns to producer Rico Love for the mid-tempo cut all about how love ain't exactly easy.

LISTEN HERE

Though she can think of many easy routes to get out of her current romantic situation (especially during the hard times), she realizes that the easy way out would hurt just as bad as staying. "There's no easy way to stay when it hurts so much / Especially when you think you've had enough," she sings on the chorus. "Ain't no easy way to love." The song's minor key sound and emphasis on the rumbling bass and skittering drums also hint at the confusion she's experiencing.

Still, for all the ways she accurately evokes the emotional turmoil of the situation, something doesn't quite work. Perhaps it's that this song doesn't feel customized for her voice and could have been given to quite a few other singers. She also doesn't offer up the energy that we know she can deliver, instead opting to back off at times we would love to hear her voice soar.

Welcome Back!

#HipHopNews: Wack 100 Reinforces Controversial Nipsey Hussle Comments & Calls The Posthumous Love "Fake"!
Wack 100 stopped by the No Jumper podcast with his client Blueface and addressed his recent inflammatory comments about the late Nipsey Hussle.
The longtime music manager ultimately apologized for appearing to defended Hussle’s alleged killer Eric Holder at the request of Nip’s former manager Eugene “Big U” Henley late last month. However, he reinforced his original sentiments during his conversation with Adam22.

“Every culture is different, and in that jungle the rules change,” he says around the 38-minute mark. “Now, are the rules irrational? Damn right. Are they right? Probably not, but these are the rules of this jungle. It’s been like that 50, 60 years. In this jungle, everybody is not for everything. Everybody is not the shooter, everybody not the fighter, some are the hustlers.”
Wack continues, “Nipsey’s a rapper, Game is a rapper. If something happens in Cedar Block where Game is from, Game is not going to be the go-to guy to retaliate on the block. That’s not what he does … everybody don’t play the same role.
“In this situation, you have a rapper and you have a dude who is a straight, authentic gang member. His whole life are these blocks. In the culture of gangbanging, when you call a muthafucka a bitch, a snitch, a rapist, a pedophile — when you call somebody these things in this jungle, it’s no different than you being a football player and going on the field without your helmet on. You’re going to get hit.”

Nip was shot, of course, because he allegedly called Holder a snitch.
Wack also spoke about the seemingly endless support Nip received in the wake of his March 31 death, explaining it was disingenuous.
“All these radio stations, all these people is all fake,” Wack says. “I can speak on it because I was part of the Nipsey Hussle movement getting him his first multi-million dollar deal … You got a man who died with a million followers and no radio hit and no fucking platinum plaques.

“But because everyone start talking like it’s a goddamn Popeyes chicken sandwich… So where was all these fans?… He didn’t die an A-list artist. Y’all talking about he’s a legend. If he’s a legend, why didn’t y’all treat him like that when he was here?… I feel like Nipsey should have been a bigger artist personally. But where the hell was all you diehard fans when Nipsey needed you to support his product?”

Whitney Houston's best friend, Robyn Crawford, opens up about their LIFE Together as a Couple!
For the first time on camera, Whitney Houston’s best friend and longtime confidante, Robyn Crawford, is speaking out about her romantic relationship with the late legendary performer.
Crawford revealed never-before-heard details of their romantic relationship in an interview with TODAY’s Craig Melvin that aired Thursday morning ahead of an hour-long special of “Dateline,” titled “A Song for Whitney,” that will air Saturday night.

“We were intimate on many levels. And all I can say is that it was very deep, and we were very connected,” she told Craig.
Crawford is doing media appearances ahead of the debut of her new memoir, "A Song For You: My Life with Whitney Houston," on Nov. 12. During her discussion with Craig and in her writing, Crawford pulls back the curtain on Houston’s three-decade career and offers her firsthand accounts of the late singer’s triumphs and tragedies.
Crawford said they first met when Houston was just shy of 17.

"Our friendship was a deep friendship. In the early part of that friendship, it was physical," she told Craig. Crawford said no one else knew about the romantic aspect of their relationship.
“It was ours,” she said, adding their physical intimacy stopped just before Houston's rise to fame in the early 1980s. “And she said, ‘I don't believe we should be physical anymore,’” Crawford said.
“Were you sad? Were you angry? Were you disappointed?” Craig asked.
“I just felt that I wouldn't be losing much," she replied. "I still loved her the same. And she loved me. And that was good enough." Crawford said she remained best friends with Houston and became her closest confidante in the years that followed.

She said she’s telling her story now because she “felt the need to stand up for our friendship.”
“I never envisioned speaking publicly about my life,” Crawford said. “And then I asked myself the question, ‘What would Whitney want?’ Would she understand, you know, the time is now?”
Craig asked Crawford why people should believe her story, saying others will question her account.
“How do I know (you’re) not making all this up?” he pressed.
“I can't even — I can't even get into that,” she replied. “I mean, some people may feel that way. Hopefully they won't.”

The “Dateline” episode will air Saturday, Nov. 9 at 9 p.m. EST. Crawford will also join TODAY for her first live interview on Monday, Nov. 11

Chris Brown Hosts Yard Sale At Tarzana Home!
Brown, 30, posted details about the sale, including his home address, to Instagram and Twitter, encouraging the public to score some of his things for cheap.
A source said that Chris Brown didn’t do this for the money, but did it to give back to the fans.
Crowds lined up outside Brown’s home at 19602 Citrus Ridge Drive hoping to snag some designer gear at deep discount prices.

“I’m into fashion, I’m into clothes,” said fan Brently Barson. “If Chris Brown is having a yard sale, I’m showing up.”
According to the flyer, the sale featured “significantly marked-down, high end designer items,” on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fans were let inside in small groups for 20 minutes to shop, but that didn’t help cut through the long line.
Earlier in the day, there was concern that the garage sale would be shut down because of crowding in the residential neighborhood.

The yard sale was held until 7 p.m. Wednesday, at which point people who were still in line after waiting for hours were told to leave and come back Thursday.
“Me and my best friend came out here at 10:40 to be out here all this time to be told we can’t get in,” said one disappointed fan.

The garage sale is happening again Thursday morning starting at 10 a.m. — Some fans say they aren’t coming back for round two.

Rapper T.I. faces social media backlash for comments about daughter’s virginity!
Rapper and actor T.I. is facing backlash on social media for comments he made on a podcast about his daughter’s virginity.
According to BuzzFeed News, the rapper made the comments during a discussion with Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham on “Ladies Like Us.”

On Thursday morning, the episode was no longer available on Apple podcasts. On Google podcasts, that section of the interview appeared to have been removed from the conversation.
He was asked whether he’s had the “sex talk” with his daughters and talked about how he’s handled it with his 18-year-old daughter, Deyjah Harris.
“Not only have we had the conversation — we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen,” he said. “Yes, I go with her.”
He said the yearly visits started right after her 16th birthday.

“So we’ll go and sit down and the doctor comes and talk, and the doctor’s maintaining a high level of professionalism,” T.I. said. “He’s like, ‘You know, sir, I have to, in order to share information’ — I’m like, ‘Deyjah, they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you would not want me to know? See, Doc? Ain’t no problem.'”
T.I. acknowledged that doctors told him the hymen can be broken in other ways besides sex.
But he said his daughter doesn’t ride a bike, ride a horse, or participate in any athletic activities.
“So I say, ‘Look, Doc, she don’t ride no horses, she don’t ride no bike, she don’t play no sports. Just check the hymen, please, and give me back my results expeditiously.”
“I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact,” T.I. said on the podcast.

He faced a backlash on social media

13-Year-Old Boy Facing 2 Murder Charges Escapes From North Carolina Courthouse!
A 13-year-old boy facing two murder charges triggered a massive manhunt after he escaped authorities in Lumberton, North Carolina Tuesday (Nov. 5) following an appearance in juvenile court.
Police said the young teen, identified only as Jericho W., escaped from the custody of social services around 12 p.m. local time.
The boy was wearing beige prison-issue pants, a white shirt, and no shoes with leg restraints around his ankles, police said.

He’s described as a Native American male, about 5 feet tall and approximately 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Officials with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said he was last seen at the intersection of Highway 72 and Country Club Road in Lumberton.
Jericho and 19-year-old Derrick Deshawn Hunt were charged in October with two counts of first-degree murder with a dangerous weapon for the deaths of two brothers, Frank and Adam Thomas, who were 34 and 33 years old, respectively.
Jericho had been held at the Cumberland Juvenile Detention Center in Fayetteville since October 14th.

Robeson County Police said they were using helicopters and the help of multiple area law enforcement units to locate the teen.
The Department of Public Safety said in a statement that officials have a “high degree of concern for the safety of both the juvenile and the public, due to a prior history of assaultive and unpredictable behavior.”

Anyone with any information on Jericho’s whereabouts has been asked to call the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 671-3170 or (910) 671-3100.

Ray J Allegedly Talking With Trump Administration, Lobbying For Suge Knight's Pardon!
There are rumors circulating that Ray J is trying to get Suge Knight out of prison.
On the heels of news that Ray J will be taking over certain business dealings for Suge Knight, there's a report from the Daily Mail that states the reality star is also lobbying for the former rap CEO's release from prison. In 2018, Suge was sentenced to 28 years after he was convicted of manslaughter. We previously reported on Suge Knight speaking with The Blast from behind bars as he confirmed that his longtime friend Ray J would be taking over Death Row Records while Nick Cannon was in charge of penning his biography.

According to the Daily Mail, Ray J has allegedly been speaking with key members of President Trump's administration in hopes of getting the Commander-in-Chief to pardon Suge. "Ray J is very competitive and always has been. He saw what Kim was able to do with her work in the criminal justice system with the Trump administration and he is determined to show he can do the same," the Daily Mail claims their source revealed. "He's adamant that he can convince Trump to pardon Suge and that people will respect him for doing so."

This reported move mirrors that of Ray's ex Kim Kardashian West who has partnered with the president and his administration to aid in the releases of inmates. However, many of the inmates Kim works with are non-violent offenders, those she believes to be innocent of their crimes altogether, or a select few who Kim has stated are rehabilitated.

Suge's manslaughter charge stemmed from a hit-and-run on the set of Straight Outta Compton where it was debated if the rap mogul purposefully ran over a man named Terry Carter. "Ray J feels as though because he's doing this for Suge, all will be forgiven and the streets will respect him for his effort," the Daily Mail claims their source stated. "If he can get Suge out of prison, he feels folks will respect him as a true mogul who can get things done no matter the political affiliation."

Good Times And All In The Family Are Back And Will Go Live For A Holiday-Themed Special!
On Tuesday, ABC announced that Live in Front of a Studio Audience is returning for a special holiday-inspired line-up. The live event, produced by Jimmy will air Wednesday, Dec. 18, this time featuring episodes of Norman Lear’s classic sitcoms All in the Family and Good Times.

Jimmy Kimmel and Lear are re-teaming to executive produce alongside Brent Miller, Will Ferrell, and Justin Theroux. Kerry Washington, who portrayed Helen Willis in the spring special’s take on The Jeffersons, also joins as an executive producer.
“The holiday season is the perfect time for families to come together and enjoy another Live in Front of a Studio Audience special on ABC,” said Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment, in a statement. “Only Jimmy and Norman can top what they accomplished the first time. From the superstar talent to the unforgettable music and the richly deserved Emmy win, their collective vision has introduced a whole new generation of people to these groundbreaking and timeless stories – and now with Good Times as part of the lineup, this will surely be another can’t-miss television event.”
“Being a part of Norman Lear’s world was a career highlight; and working with great actors on these great shows was so much fun, we couldn’t resist tackling a holiday episode of All in the Family and one of my favorites, Good Times,” said Kimmel in a statement, while Lear added, “I don’t know which is greater – bringing back Good Times or co-hosting with Jimmy Kimmel?”

The original Live in Front of a Studio Audience, which aired on ABC back in May, proved a massive success for the network, scoring in the ratings and earning three Emmy nominations. It ultimately won for Outstanding Variety Special (Live), making Lear the oldest Emmy winner ever. After the success of the first special, ABC ordered an additional two installments and this will mark the first of that order.

Further information, including what two episodes will be featured, is still to be announced. However, the holiday theme significantly lowers the pool of options. There’s also no word yet on whether any of the cast from the spring special, specifically those who brought to life All in the Family, will be returning to reprise their roles.

The case is pending.

Drake & Kylie? What is Really Going on?
People are talking about the potential new couple. Drake and Kylie are the latest potential romance people are buzzing about on social media. It is a coupling no one really saw coming. However, this is one everyone will be watching to see. No one has confirmed this relationship yet, so all people can do right now is speculate. Only the parties involved will reveal and one can imagine the two laughing about the media frenzy they are causing right now.
Rumors about their potential romance restarted after hearing rumors over the weekend of the two around each other during Drake’s birthday party in LA. Neither parties have responded back to the reports. Apparently, they were around each other the entire night and reports say they were never too far from each other. Hmm sounds a little fishy!

However, other reports say the two have been spending a lot of time with each other. It is going to be a lot of sources reported until they come forward. Kris Jenner is known to cause media frenzies about nothing, so if nothing concrete comes out of this no one will be surprised.
The two have a long history as the family has known each other for a long time. Drake had attended Kylie’s sweet 16 and haven’t really been spotted since being together. It is possible they had a lot to talk about.

Either way, the history they do have with each other would not be surprising if they decided to couple up as they run in the same circles. However, as Kylie has said the internet does make everything way more dramatic than it needs to be. All we can do at this point is wait and see if they will even respond to the reports. It is possible they will not, but Drake and Kylie are both known to ignore the media.

Chicago Police Superintendent Expected to Announce Retirement Amid Investigation Into Sleeping Incident!
Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson is reportedly announcing his retirement this week, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Johnson is reportedly considering retirement amid an investigation into an incident in which officers found him sleeping in his vehicle at a stop sign.
The Police Superintendent is believed to be retiring after 31 years of service in Chicago’s Police Department. Johnson is known for overseeing the policing of Chicago, one of the most notorious cities of high crime, since 2016. But, Sources revealed to the publication on Wednesday that he may announce his retirement later this week.

At a City Hall budget meeting Monday, he told reporters he was considering retirement. However, he stated that his decision would not be based on the recent investigation.
“I have given 31 years now to this city, and almost four as superintendent,” Johnson said Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune. “You know, but I recognize also that at some point, it’s time to create another chapter in your life. And I will tell you all this: When my family and I went to London for the Bears game, that’s the first vacation like that that I’ve had since I became superintendent. And I looked at my family, and it made me realize how much of a sacrifice you make for your family when you take on positions like this.”

In regard to the investigation, Mayor Lori Lightfoot told the Chicago Sun-Times that Johnson confessed to her, following the Oct. 17 sleeping incident,  that he had “a couple of drinks with dinner” before driving that night.
”I know what the superintendent told me, which is that he was…changing medication…He’d been out to dinner with some folks. He told me he was driving home,” The Mayor said to the newspaper. “He felt ill and pulled over to the side of the road, which he believed was the prudent thing to do…[Internal Affairs Divison] will sort out the rest.”

Johnson eventually requested an investigation on himself, and now, he may soon step down.

ICE Is Banning 21 Savage From Touring Outside The United States!
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency will not allow 21 Savage to tour across seas until his immigration case is resolved.
Reports from TMZ say the organization is withholding the rapper’s rights to freely fly outside of the U.S. while his immigration case is being handled, which is a process that can take years.
The 27-year-old was arrested on February 21, and after being released, he was banned from performing internationally as well as domestically. It wasn’t until he received a work visa in October that he was allowed to return to work after eight months. Now, the rapper can perform around the country until the case is settled.

Atlanta immigration offices are reportedly packed with assignments, and 21 has yet to be given a court date. Despite the major roadblock, the rapper has pushed forward with doing shows around the nation. Savage recently hit up Complex Con Long Beach for a surprise performance.

Billionaire’s wife claims she can use N-word because she knows Alicia Keys!
The wife of a billionaire hedge funder claims she’s not racist for using the n-word because she’s friends with Alicia Keys.
Lisa Falcone, the wife of beleaguered hedge funder Philip Falcone, told her former personal chef she wasn’t racist after using the n-word — and said he could ask her black friend Alicia Keys to confirm, according to new court papers.

Falcone allegedly dropped the n-bomb after meeting cook Brian Villanueva’s girlfriend, who is black, according to a wage-dispute lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court Wednesday against the socialite and her Harbinger Capital hubby.
Villanueva said his gal pal came in to help him cook for a Hamptons dinner party the Falcones were hosting on July 13, 2019 — attended by Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz — and the next morning Lisa commented on how articulate his partner was.
“Your girlfriend speaks very well. She seems educated. I would describe her as a chocolate-covered marshmallow,” the chef claims Lisa said.
Despite Villanueva appearing visibly offended, she went on to ask “Do you use the word ‘n—-’ at home with your girlfriend?” say the court papers.

“Defendant Lisa Falcone noticed the shocked and offended expression on Plaintiff’s face, however, rather than apologize, she said defensively, ‘I’m Puerto Rican and grew up in Spanish Harlem so I can speak like that,'” the suit reads.
The lawsuit says Villanueva asked his boss to explain the comments, and she responded that neither Keys nor her hubby, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, were as well-spoken.
“I meant she speaks really eloquently. Alicia [Keys] doesn’t speak that way. She didn’t have an education and was just discovered by Clive Davis when she was fifteen years old. Swizz [Beatz] definitely doesn’t speak that way either,” Lisa allegedly told him.
Later that day, Villanueva claims he delivered pizza to the Falcones on the beach, and told them he was quitting due to the racist remarks.

“Rather than accepting Plaintiff’s resignation, Defendant Lisa Falcone asked Plaintiff not to resign and stated ‘talk to my black friends’ (seemingly referring to Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz — both of whom were at the beach with the Falcones at that time), and emphasized ‘they will tell you that I am not racist,'” the documents read.
He’s suing for discrimination and violation of New York labor laws, saying he’s owed $4,230.76 in unpaid wages.
The lawsuit also claims Philip said he would only pay Villanueva if he and his girlfriend signed a confidentiality agreement promising to not repeat Lisa’s utterances. They declined to sign.
Reps for Keys and Beatz did not respond to requests for comment.

Philip declined to comment. Lisa did not return messages.
