Eddie Murphy For WSJ. Magazine November Innovator’s Issue!
Eddie Murphy is WSJ. Magazine’s ENTERTAINMENT INNOVATOR 2019!
As a comedian and an African-American, Murphy pushed boundaries, opened doors and made millions. Next year will mark Murphy’s 40th year as an entertainer, and it’s shaping up to be a big one.
In the coming months, he will finish filming “Coming 2 America,” host Saturday Night Live, prepare for a reboot of “Beverly Hills Cop” and, most notably, stage a return to stand-up comedy, an arena he stepped away from more than 30 years ago.

Eddie Murphy on giving up movies to do stand-up: Once I get back onstage, I kind of feel like that’s what I was born to do more than anything. When I get back on the stage, I can’t imagine wanting to do movies again.
What I like to do more than anything is just be home with my family, chilling. It’s really easy to feel like you’re working when you make a movie. You’ve got to get up at five, six in the morning. I started making movies when I was 20 years old, when I made 48 Hrs. That’s f—ing 38 years. You’ve been on a movie set, you see how this shit is. It’s not a fun process. Once I get back onstage again, I want to do whatever, be funny—I can do that whenever I want to. You know? But making movies? Being an old dude in the movies? That’s not it. Let them watch me get old, get all old looking. Like, “You see Eddie’s new movie? He looks terrible.”

On stand-up comedy in the “woke” age: Before there was the #MeToo movement, all this stuff that’s going on, the woke stuff, whatever y’all are calling it. People would talk shit, get bent out of shape. I had to apologize for stuff. And that was, you know, 30 years ago. Now everybody gets treated the same way. But it’s not like I’m looking at it like, “Oh, now I don’t know if I can do stand-up because it’s changed.” It’s like, it changed for everyone else. That’s the way it always was for me. The difference is now I’m sitting and seeing how shit is. So when I put my stuff together, I ain’t stepping on nobody’s toes, giving nobody reasons to picket me and all that shit.
On social media: I’m going to be 60 in two years. I’ve got 10 kids. I’m trying to spend quality time with the family. I couldn’t give a f— what’s going on, on social media. Asking people to follow me and all that shit. Who’s trolling who. Who tweeted. People posting selfies and all that. We were here before all this shit happened. We are going to die out, then it’s just going to be like it was the normal thing. But even though I don’t use social media, I’m up on the comedians. I got Netflix and all that shit. I just don’t tweet.

On his comeback: I’ve been wanting to get back on the stage for years, waiting for the right moment. For at least 10 years I’ve been thinking about doing stand-up. And now it’s like, OK, this is perfect. This Rudy Ray Moore movie, it’s funny, it will get shit stirred up. Go on SNL, get shit stirred up a little more. That’s the perfect environment.

On the evolution of comedy as an art form: The art form tells more of a story than it ever has. You’ve got a genius like Dave Chappelle. You’ve got so many types of comedians. When I started doing comedy, comics were opening acts. That was the best you could hope for. Now you’ve got comics who have never had TV shows, never been in a movie, making $25 million a year. And starring at the Garden three nights. Being a stand-up comic used to be this fringe thing, and now it’s like, you know, singing, dancing and all the other shit.

I’m the first one. I’m the first of the rock star comics, doing arena tours, with leather suits. Raw is still the biggest stand-up concert ever, in over 30 years. Still.
On the high expectations people have for his comedy, given his legendary status: Everybody’s got this expectation. I don’t even know what’s going to come out. I know I’m still the same dude. I’m still the same person. I’m older, and I’ve changed the way people change when you get older. But whatever mechanism made me funny, how I come up with jokes—I’ll be at the house and funny shit still comes out of my mouth. I’m curious to see what happens when I put it all together and get onstage. I hope to live up to everybody’s expectations. Whatever it is, it’s going to be me.

#RHOA: Is Kandi Burruss The Highest-Paid ‘Real Housewife Of Atlanta’?
We all know Kandi Burruss is all about that paper! And when it comes to one of the most popular “Real Housewives” franchises, Burruss is bringing in the most dough if you ask her co-star Kenya Moore.
Moore set the record straight during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show Tuesday (Nov. 5). When asked if she was after her arch nemesis Nene Leakes’s paycheck, Moore said she has her own money. She also shut down Wendy Williams’s statement that Leakes is the top-billed star of the show.
“That’s not true. Kandi makes the most money, okay? So if I was coming for anybody’s purse and bag, it would be Kandi’s.”

She added, “Kandi is the real HBIC of that show.”
See it at the 26:00 mark.
Other than NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss is the longest-running cast member of the show as she joined in the second season. But considering Leakes break during season 8, she and Burruss are pretty much neck and neck when it comes to time on the show.
Do you think Kandi should make the most money on the show?

#Empire: Taraji P Henson on Flash-Forward’s Big ‘Bang,’ Lucious’ ‘Slap in the Face’ Reveal to Cookie!
After years of breaking up and making up and heartache and grand gestures of love, it looks like tonight’s “Empire” might have actually featured the final nail in the coffin of Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) relationship.=
The hour, titled “Stronger Than My Rival,” started off with a bang, literally, when another flash-forward into the nine-months-from-now future showed a car explode with Cookie inside of it, just after she read a note that made her fly off the handle.

“If I was a fan, I would be very worried about everybody,” Henson told TheWrap, when we asked if that scene meant Cookie is going to die. “‘Cause it’s the series finale this season and we’re going out with a bang, I mean, we have nothing to lose, right?… And I’d be very worried about who that note is from.”

After that cryptic start, we hit rewind and went back to the present-day timeline in which Cookie and Lucious are at each other’s throats, trying to coexist in the Lyon family mansion. Things get progressively heated throughout the episode, as Cookie is hosting a fundraiser for the Cookie Lyon Community Center and Lucious has to go and screw it up for her by bringing protestors to keep Tiana (Serayah McNeill) from performing, due to her comments about abortion. That’s when Cookie takes the stage and reveals that Empire was founded with the $400,000 in drug money she made for Lucious — and landed her 17 years in prison.
Her comments send Lucious into a rage when they get home. He debunks the “myth” that she bankrolled Empire by saying that her money was gone within months of her going to prison and that he stole $1 million from Philly Street to fund his first album.

“Well, it’s a slap in the face because, whether you use the $400,000 to actually purchase an album or get an LLC for Empire, it doesn’t matter, you used it, it helped you,” Henson said. “Some kind of way, that $400,000 got you to the next month, honey. And it’s a slap in the face, again, of this man being selfish and not giving her her credit for what she has done and how she has helped. And again, he tries to hurt her.”

“My thing is, I don’t think Cookie ever tries to hurt him. Hers is in retaliation or to defend herself, or to fight for herself,” she added.”He’s vindictive, he’s the one that’s always doing something. And they’re gonna deal with that, too. There’s this one scene coming up in a future episode where she asks him, ‘Why do you need for me to hurt all the time?'”
As for Lucious’ claim that he’s going to sue Cookie for violating her NDA by revealing Empire’s drug money past, Henson said she thinks it’s as empty as the rest of Lucious threats: “That’s just a threat. He makes threats all the time. That’s what he does.”

The episode ends with Cookie leaving the Lyon mansion and throwing her key down before she goes. Henson said Cookie really is gone for good, as it’s “the only way she can get her peace” — even though she still thinks Lucious loves Cookie.
“Well, that’s why he’s acting out, he’s doing it for attention and he’s doing it to try to make her stay or break her and it’s not happening,” Henson said. “Lucious is having these tantrums and it’s not working anymore because she’s in therapy and she’s doing the right thing for herself. So his old antics aren’t working. And if you’re doing that, that means you still care, because otherwise you would move on, you wouldn’t be doing that. Isn’t he supposed to be with Yana anyway? Why isn’t he with Yana?”

Good question. “Empire” airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Fox.

#NewMusic from Alicia Keys – Show Me Love (featuring Miguel & 21 Savage) (Remix)!
Just last month Alicia Keys returned with her impactful new single “Show Me Love” featuring Miguel. She now unleashes an official remix for the song featuring rapper 21 Savage.
The collaboration literally went from a phone call to the remix when Alicia’s husband, GRAMMY Award winning producer Swizz Beatz, reached out to 21 Savage to catch up. When 21 Savage mentioned he was a fan of Alicia’s and knew all of her songs, Swizz suggested synergy would be natural with a “Show Me Love” remix.

LISTEN HERE
The original version of “Show Me Love” is the first release from Alicia Keys’ seventh studio album set for a 2020 release in the coming months.
For the visuals, Keys partnered with Director Cara Stricker to make a triptych of one-shot scenes featuring Miguel, Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana and her husband Marco Perego Saldana.

#HipHopNews: Lord Jamar Accuses Eminem Of Wearing Blackface Mask!
Lord Jamar's ongoing issues with Eminem continue. On Tuesday (Nov. 5), the Brand Nubian rapper posted vintage photos of the Shady Records CEO, who is wearing what fans say is a Will Smith mask. While the mask bears no resemblance to traditional images of Blackface, that didn't stop Jamar from making his claim that Em was wearing a mask depicting the racist makeup.

"Hey @eminem please put this in context for me...I’m trying to understand why you’d be clowning in a BLACKFACE MASK backstage at the MTV AWARDS? You should come on the YANADAMEEN GODCAST so we can discuss this among other things. #weneedanswers," Lord Jamar wrote in his caption.
The photo appears to be from Eminem's remote appearance at the 2000 MTV Europe Music Awards. Since the rapper was on tour in the U.S. at the time, Em couldn't physically make it to the awards show to pick up his trophies. Instead, he pre-recorded acceptance speeches in case he won.

After he accepted the award for Best Album, Eminem appeared in a second video while wearing a Will Smith mask and apologized for missing out on the show. Fans told Lord Jamar about the context of Em rocking the Will Smith mask in the comments of the rapper's Instagram post. Still, Jamar questioned Em's motives.
"If it is a WILL SMITH MASK, what gives this WHITEBOY the right to wear it? Especially in EUROPE where he knew he could get away with it, also if it’s NO PROBLEM then why have these pics been hidden up until now?" Jamar responded in his comment section.

Lord Jamar and Eminem have been openly engaged in a beef since the Detroit rapper dissed Jamar on his song "Fall" off his Kamikaze album. Before that, in a 2014 interview with DJ Vlad, Jamar said he didn't like Em's music because he couldn't relate to it.

#POLITICS: Andy Beshear overcomes Trump effect to beat Matt Bevin to become next KY governor and in Virginia Democrats Take Control Of Virginia State Legislature!
LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — After a hard-fought race marked by angry rhetoric about teachers and the intervention of national politics, Kentucky voters finally got the chance to make their decision at the ballot box.

In the end, Attorney General Andy Beshear was able to emerge victorious in a gubernatorial race being watched as much for what it says about next year's national elections as it does about the direction of the Commonwealth.
Both men were with supporters in Louisville on Tuesday night watching as the results came in.
The Democrats -- Beshear and his running mate, Jacqueline Coleman -- placed much of their focus on Kentucky's educators and their anger over moves by the Bevin administration to make changes to their pensions.

"I believe the more Kentuckians that come out, the better our chances are, because people are hungry for a governor that listens more than he talks and solves more problems than he creates," Beshear said earlier Tuesday.
Bevin, a Republican who has polled consistently as among the least popular governors in the nation, highlighted his anti-abortion rights agenda and close ties with President Donald Trump. He switched his lieutenant governor running mate this time out to Ralph Alvardo.
John Hicks and Ann Cormican ran a long-shot race on the Libertarian Party ticket.
On Tuesday after casting his ballot, Bevin said he was feeling good and confident.
“I thought we’d win by 6 to 10 [percentage points]. I still feel very confident in that," he said. "I’d like it to be more like 10 to 12. We’ll see.”
While Bevin basked in the attention and personal visits from Trump and Pence, Beshear worked to shore up votes and keep voters looking at local issues, including his support for expanded gambling in the state.
Beshear campaigned with his father, former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear, and Democratic House Floor Leader Rocky Adkins, a popular eastern Kentucky Democrat who he beat in the primary.
Kentucky Democratic Party chair Ben Self released the following statement on the Beshear/Coleman victory, "Congratulations to Governor-elect Andy Beshear and Lieutenant Governor-elect Jacqueline Coleman on their hard-fought victory. Tonight voters sent a clear message: they’re ready to turn the page on four years of failed, divisive Republican governance and want to move forward with leadership that will deliver real solutions for all Kentuckians. Tonight’s results should serve as a wake-up call to members of the General Assembly and Senator McConnell heading into 2020. Kentuckians want leaders who fight for public education, good paying jobs and access to affordable healthcare."

The President of Kentucky Government Retirees, Jim Carroll, released the following statement, "Kentucky Government Retirees congratulates Gov.-elect Andy Beshear and Lt. Gov.-elect Jacqueline Coleman in their election victory. In his capacity as attorney general, the governor elect defended Kentucky Retirement Systems stakeholders against a “sewer bill” that was overturned by the Kentucky Supreme Court. We are confident that Gov. Beshear will serve as a strong advocate for pension sustainability and stakeholder contract rights."

Gov. Matt Bevin has refused to concede the race.

AND IN VIRGINIA, Democrats Take Control Of Virginia State Legislature
Democrats took over both chambers of the Virginia legislature on Tuesday, ensuring the party unified control of the state’s government for the first time in over one-quarter of a century.

As pundits and polls predicted, Democrats picked up enough seats to obtain a majority in both the Virginia House of Delegates and the state Senate, both of which Republicans narrowly control.
Since Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, who was not on the ballot this year, is also a Democrat, the party now has what’s known as a trifecta in the state, clearing the way for passage of a number of progressive priorities that Republicans had stalled.
Democrats plan to move swiftly to pass tougher gun safety regulations, protections against discrimination for LGBTQ residents, and an increase in the minimum wage. The legislature is also likely to pursue action on climate change and ratify the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution ― a key step on the way to the adoption of a national legal standard enshrining gender equity.

Although President Donald Trump, whose approval rating is just 37% in Virginia, was not on the ballot, dissatisfaction with his presidency has fueled opposition to the state’s Republicans, according to Quentin Kidd, director of Christopher Newport University’s center for public policy.
“We all could see the tidal wave coming five months ago and this is the result of it. The anti-Trump energy has never receded in Virginia,” he said. “You can give Donald Trump a lot of credit for Democrats basically owning the commonwealth of Virginia right now.”

Virginia House Democratic Leader Eileen Filler-Corn, seen near the state Capitol in December, is likely to become House speaker under the new Democratic majority. Democrats’ consolidation of power in Virginia marks the culmination of a transition that has been underway for decades, spurred first by growth in the highly educated suburbs in northern Virginia and accelerated in other suburban areas by Trump’s election in 2016.
When Virginia voted for Barack Obama in 2008, it was the first time it had backed a Democratic presidential nominee since 1964. The Old Dominion is now reliably Democratic in presidential elections, and Democrats make up a majority of its U.S. House seats.
Control of the General Assembly, as the state’s legislature is known, has particularly far-reaching implications, however.
Democrats will now dictate the terms of the redistricting process in the state in 2021 after the U.S. census in 2020. Unified Republican control of state government after the 2010 census allowed it to engage in partisan gerrymandering of both the congressional and state legislative districts. (A federal court ruling in January that forced the redrawing of state House district boundaries benefited Democrats by shifting several Republican incumbents into areas with more Democratic voters.)

In addition to opening the door to passage of some broad-consensus Democratic policies, the new Democratic legislative majority in Virginia is of a qualitatively more progressive ― and diverse ― character than previous iterations of the state party. For example, no fewer than 87 of the Democrats on the ballot on Tuesday pledged not to accept campaign contributions from the state’s infamously powerful electric utility monopolies, Dominion Energy and Appalachian Power.
The night’s Democratic winners included the legislature’s first Muslim woman, state Sen.-elect Ghazala Hashmi. Del. Danica Roem, the state’s first openly transgender lawmaker, was reelected, as was Del. Lee Carter, a dues-paying member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
Some Republicans sought to capitalize on this progressive turn by, among other things, tying candidates to the “extreme socialist” agenda of left-wing members of Congress.

They also sought to taint some Democrats with the air of scandal surrounding the state’s top two Democratic officials, Northam and Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax. The party was rocked by the revelations in February that Northam had worn blackface as a young man and that Fairfax stands accused of sexual assault, which he denies.
But thanks to the national political climate and an infusion of cash from major liberal groups, those attacks were not enough to maintain Republicans’ last political foothold in the state.

“The implications nationally there are pretty gloomy for Republicans,” Kidd said. “Democrats did really well in suburban areas that used to be battlegrounds. Those areas look a lot like a lot of suburbs in the rest of the country.”

Keanu Reeves Steps out with His Age-Appropriate Girlfriend!
First of all, a 55-year-old Hollywood actor dating an "age-appropriate" woman who is still nearly a decade younger than him shouldn't be news. Second of all, I would die for Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, the award-winning 46-year-old visual artist Alexandra Grant.
Reeves and Grant made their couple's red carpet debut last night at LACMA's Art + Film Gala, although they're longtime collaborators and even released a book together in 2016. The duo were photographed holding hands and looking into each other's eyes, and the internet is losing its mind for a number of reasons: first and foremost it's just nice to see Reeves looking happy in a photo, as opposed to meme-level sad.

So, let's talk about it. Grant has visibly gray hair, as do all women older than 35 without the use of hair dye. The fact she still visually reads as older than Keanu is way too heavy and depressing an issue to digress into here; suffice to say if you're a dude you probably don't get quite how much of a relief it is to see a woman boldly looking her literal age while holding hands with one of Hollywood's most established leading men. It's not just an uncommon sight — it's completely unheard of. People on Twitter are out here comparing Grant to HELEN MIRREN, who is similarly gorgeous but also 74 years old AKA almost 30 years her senior. God.

Are we reaching some kind of turning point, here? The well-established phenomenon of Hollywood men dating far younger women has gone mostly unquestioned up until recently. 44-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio's penchant for models under the age of 23 has been widely criticized of late, and we all rolled our eyes when 65-year-old Dennis Quaid announced his engagement to 26-year-old Laura Savoie earlier this month.
It's hard to be optimistic on that front, but serious congrats to Keanu for snagging a hot art world girlfriend, and resisting the siren's call of Raya's Gen-Z users.

A New Book Claims Aaron Hernandez Bragged to His Prison Boyfriend About Killing Four People!
Former NFL Star Aaron Hernandez allegedly revealed this to his alleged prison lover while he was serving time for killing one man, and was linked to a separate double homicide.

The shocking accusation that Hernandez killed a fourth person is made in investigative journalist Dylan Howard’s new book Aaron Hernandez’s Killing Fields. For the book, Howard interviewed Kyle Kennedy, who has been reported as Hernandez’s cellmate and “prison boyfriend” since Hernandez’s 2017 jail cell suicide.
Kennedy told Howard that Hernandez bragged about his alleged fourth murder.
“[Aaron] always used to tell me he had four murders. He would just always, all the time joke around saying ‘I got four bodies.'”
Howard goes on to claim Hernandez’s supposed fourth body is the unsolved murder of Jordan Miller, who was gunned down in his home one week before Odin Lloyd, the semi-professional football player who Hernandez was convicted of killing.

Miller and Lloyd ran in the same circle of friends and actually shared similar physical characteristics. Detective Bo Dietl hypothesizes Hernandez and his crew shot Miller mistaking him for Lloyd.
“It sounds like Hernandez gets a tip from one of his goonies that Odin Lloyd is at this location. [Then] Jordan Miller is shot inside his home, from [a] drive-by shooting through the window … It’s very possible that Odin Lloyd could have been in that apartment, and if they look similar, which I believe they do. They shot the wrong guy that time.”
Dietl adds that Hernandez—a New England Patriots tight end—may have paid off Miller’s family for their silence after realizing the error.

“I don’t care if he pulled the trigger or not, if Aaron Hernandez was involved with the conspiracy to murder Odin Lloyd and Jordan Miller, it’s the same as pulling the trigger,” Dietl said.
The detective also urges the Boston Police Department to re-examine the ballistics from the Miller and Lloyd shootings.
Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder in 2015, and was indicted on a double homicide in 2014. He was acquitted of the double homicide in 2017 and committed suicide just days later by hanging himself in his cell.

He was survived by fiancΓ©e Shayanna Jenkins and their now 7-year-old daughter Avielle.

Eminem Says He Sides With Chris Brown While Rapping About Rihanna Assault!
Newly leaked audio from what appears to be an old Eminem song allegedly features a line from the Detroit rapper siding with Chris Brown after he assaulted Rihanna in 2009, Insider reports.
According to the outlet, a Reddit user posted a seven-second snippet, titled "(SNIPPET) Eminem - Things Get Worse (Rihanna Diss)," of what appears to be an unreleased version of a song that would become B.o.B.'s 2011 track "Things Get Worse." On the leaked snippet, Em reportedly raps, "Of course I side with Chris Brown, I'd beat down a b*tch too."
According to Insider, the audio appears to have been illegally obtained and neither Eminem, Rihanna, or Chris have commented on the lyric, which is making its rounds on Twitter.

The edited track — sans the Chris Brown and Rihanna line — was released months after Chris was charged with felony assault after abusing his then-girlfriend Rihanna hours before the 2009 Grammys. He was later ordered to serve five years of probation, community service, and domestic violence counseling.
In the years since, Rihanna and Eminem have worked together numerous times, collaborating on "The Monster" in 2010, "Numb" in 2012, and "Love the Way You Lie" in 2013.

While the leaked audio did not make it on the 47-year-old rapper's 2009 album Relapse, on the version that did get released, Eminem infamously raps about murdering Dakota Fanning and putting Natasha Bedingfield "in a washer." He additionally disses Angelina Jolie, Carmen Electra, Jessica Simpson, and his mom on the track.

LeBron James Is Building Transitional Homes For The Families Of His iPromise Students!
Nearly a year after opening the iPromise school for at-risk students in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, LeBron is making headlines once again. This time, he announced that in addition to the school, he will be offering temporary, transitional housing to the families of the school’s students.
In a statement about the news, LeBron said, “Initially, our work was focused on helping these kids earn an education. But we’ve found that it is impossible to help them learn if they are struggling to survive — if they are hungry if they have no heat in the freezing winter if they live in fear for their safety.” James is restoring a historic apartment building in Akron, Ohio, and turning it into a place where families in need can call home.

Renovations will begin immediately on the “iPromise Village,” which was formerly known as The Westmont Apartment Building. The 22 unit, nationally registered historic building, was originally built between 1927 and 1930. The Tudor revival architectural style building is expected to be available for full use by next July when the school year begins.
The LeBron James Family  Foundation partnered with Graduate Hotels to complete the renovation. In a statement, Graduate Hotels founder and CEO, Ben Wipren, said, “The I Promise Village by Graduate Hotels will be a monumental next step for us and LeBron and his Foundation’s commitment to the future of the students and their families.” He continued, “It’s humbling to see the change they are affecting on a daily basis, and we’re honored to be a part of the journey.”

LeBron’s philanthropic efforts are addressing a problem long identified by educators and school personnel in at-risk communities. The failure of policymakers and government to address the holistic needs of a community, simultaneously, in order to promote a student’s ability to thrive and obtain a quality education. LeBron is bringing common-sense solutions to systemic problems in real-time. Hopefully, his efforts will inspire his peers and others to do the same.

Richard Gere, 70, & His 36-Year-Old Wife Are Expecting Again!
Actor Richard Gere is reportedly going to be a dad again! Hola! magazine reports Gere, 70, is expecting his second child with wife Alejandra Silva, 36. According to the outlet, Alejandra is three months along.
The pregnancy news comes just nine months after they welcomed son Alexander.
The couple hasn’t publicly commented on the pregnancy yet, but it’s no surprise — last year, they took a month before they confirmed they were expecting by posting a photo of Silva showing her growing bump to the Dalai Lama with Gere by her side. She captioned the photo, “A very special moment just a few minutes ago... Getting blessings for our precious to come.. we couldn’t say it before telling HH Dalai Lama.”

Richard and Alejandra secretly tied the knot in April last year. In February, Richard gushed to Hello magazine, “I'm the happiest man in the universe. How could I not be? I'm married to a beautiful woman who is smart, sensitive, committed to helping people, who's fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, who's a great cook — and who makes the best salads in the world!"
Alejandra had similar things to say about Richard, sharing, “He is the most humble, sensitive, affectionate, attentive, funny, generous man that I've ever met. What can I say? I'm so in love! How would you feel if each morning you were asked: 'What would make you happy today?' Not a day goes by that he doesn't mention how important I am to him. I feel very lucky."

Richard and Alejandra have been together since 2014. A few years ago, she told Hola!, "Our karma was attracted the moment we saw each other. I’m not ignoring our age difference and what it means to be with a Hollywood star, but when there’s such a strong karmic energy, the problems disappear.”

Buffalo Wild Wings Staff Fired After Asking Black Family To Move To Satisfy Racist Customer!
A Black family and their friends joined together to celebrate a birthday at Buffalo Wild Wings in Naperville. However, the event went south when the group was asked to move due to the color of their skin.
According to The Chicago Tribune, Justin Vahl and Marcus Riley said they visited the restaurant to celebrate a child’s birthday at about 8:30 p.m. on October 26.
Vahl explained he was the first to arrive, initially telling the host he needed a table for 15. After realizing he needed a few more chairs, he walked over to the staff setting up their arrangements and informed them he’d require more seats.
Upon his return to the waiting area, the host, a young Black man himself, asked Vahl, “What race are you?” To which Vahl responded, questioning why it mattered in the first place.

According to Vahl, the host then explained that one of the restaurant’s regular customers  “doesn’t want black people sitting near him.”
Vahl then told the host to seat the party at the table regardless, saying, “I’m not going to let a customer dictate where we sit.”
Vahl revealed that a manager then approached the group shortly after having a conversation with the regular, and proceeded to tell them they needed to move because another party of 18 had reserved the tables. However, it’s reported the restaurant does not take reservations.

After multiple managers tried to get the group to move, Vahl said the adults decided it was time to leave, declaring they would not spend any money at the location.
Vahl’s wife Mary then took the incident to Facebook, which garnered a widespread response and backlash. In turn, Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson, Claire Kudlata, said in an email that Buffalo Wild Wings has zero-tolerance for discrimination.
“We take this alleged incident very seriously and are conducting a thorough internal investigation,” Kudlata wrote. “We’re in direct communication with the guest to understand their account of what happened and to offer our deepest apologies for any unacceptable behavior.”

Since then, multiple employees at the location have been fired, according to the Washington Post; meanwhile, several others quit.

Sharon Osbourne: John Legend and Kelly Clarkson’s New Version of ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ Is ‘Ridiculous’!
Not so into change. John Legend. and Kelly Clarkson have rerecorded “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” taking out the controversial lines and replacing them with more appropriate ones. However, not everyone approves.
The classic holiday hit was written by Frank Loesser in 1944 and has been performed by tons of singers over the decades, including Dean Martin, Idina Menzel, Michael BublΓ©, Lady Gaga. and Tony Bennett. The new lines were written by Legend, 40, and Natasha Rothwell.
In the original song, many listeners have claimed lyrics reference date rape. Some of the controversial lyrics include: “I ought to say no, no, no, sir / “Mind if I move in closer?” and “Say, what’s in this drink? / No cabs to be had out there.”
In the reimagined version, Clarkson, 37, sings, “I’ve got to go away,” and Legend responds, “I can call you a ride.”

Later, the lyrics are, “What will my friends think? / I think they should rejoice,” and “If I have one more drink? / “It’s your body, and your choice.”
While the lyrics are more family-friendly, some aren’t into it. During The Talk on Monday, November 4, host Sharon Osbourne. revealed she is not impressed.
“To change an innocent lyric, to what is it, ‘Your mind and your body?’ What the hell are you on? That’s ridiculous,” the TV personality, 67, said. “I have to tell you, I love John Legend. I love John Legend’s wife, his family. He’s an amazing artist that I really respect. Why do you do this? That’s not right.”
She wasn’t the only one who didn’t like the new verse. Martin’s daughter, Deana Martin, revealed on Good Morning Britain that she didn’t approve.

“You do not change the lyrics to the song,” the singer, 71, shared on Monday. “He’s made it more sexual with those words that he has just said. … He’s stealing the thunder from Frank Loesser’s song and from my dad. He should write his own song if he doesn’t like this one, but don’t change the lyrics. It’s a classic, perfect song.”
