RHOA: Did Peter Thomas Low Key Shade Cynthia Bailey?
As previously reported, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas confirmed they have separated after 6 years of marriage and living in different homes. Cynthia recently spoke about their divorce to The Daily Dish, and now Peter has followed up by posting some sort of cryptic IG message that many speculate is a diss toward his ex.

Peter wrote, “NEVER TRUST a Person who constantly WAVERS like hot and cold temperature on a broken thermometer. They will CHANGE on you INSTANTLY just like the Weather. NEVER TRUST them in any matter, because you can *Never Predict* their Behavior from one second to another. They are like a River with Sweet and Bitter water, SWEET at first then BITTER right after. In the blink of an eye they could turn your Joy into Sorrow; because they will ‘Love’ you today…. Then INSTNATLY Hate you tomorrow!”
He also added the caption, “I don’t have to say nothing else, LOL”

It’s highly likely that much of Cynthia’s story line on RHOA next season will revolve around her relationship challenges with Peter.

#EMPIRE: Jussie Smollett Of ‘Empire’ As Langston Hughes: See The Photo
The actor best known as Jamal Lyon is working on his first major role since Empire became a runaway hit, and he’s shared an image of his new onscreen look.
Smollett was tapped to portray legendary Harlem Renaissance writer Langston Hughes in the upcoming Thurgood Marshall biopic, Marshall, directed by Reginald Hudlin.

Had to go butt faced to be #LangstonHughes in #Marshall. Thank you @reghud for the opportunity. It's been a dream pic.twitter.com/cNWVf0mBPs

Jussie Smolllett also retweeted a post showing his resemblance to the writer Hughes.

Chadwick Boseman (42, Captain America: Civil War) will handle the role of Thurgood Marshall in the film, which focuses on the first African-American Supreme Court Justice’s early law career, and one case in particular:

“As the nation teeters on the brink of WWII, a nearly bankrupt NAACP sends Marshall to conservative Connecticut to defend a black chauffeur against his wealthy socialite employer in a sexual assault and attempted murder trial that quickly became tabloid fodder,” is how the film is explained (via Deadline).
“In need of a high profile victory but muzzled by a segregationist court, Marshall is partnered with Samuel Friedman, a young Jewish lawyer who has never tried a case. Marshall and Friedman struggle against a hostile storm of fear and prejudice, driven to discover the truth in the sensationalized trial which helped set the groundwork for the Civil Rights Movement to come.”

The part of Samuel Friedman will be played by actor Josh Gad, known for a variety of roles, including feature films (Frozen, The Angry Birds Movie) and television (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Comedians).
As Jussie Smollett is making the most of his newfound fame by taking on such high-profile film roles, rumors began swirling among some Empire fans worried that he was leaving the show following the recent season 2 finale.

The actor has pinned a video Tweet to let them know that he will indeed be returning the hit show for the third season.

Unreleased Music from Justin Timberlake x Timbaland – Battle of the Sexxxes
Justin Timberlake may be back on the radio all day long with “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING,” but now the folks at RnBxclusive have gone digging and unearthed a previously unreleased, now leaked record called “Battle of the Sexxxes,” produced by Timbaland, which is reportedly from their early sessions in 2004.

The track is certainly a loud, heavy hitting Timbo production, and the melody of the song kinda feels like a Pharrell or N.E.R.D record from the same era. JT calls out to a potential lover to throw away any inhibitions and get wild and nasty together. Interestingly the second verse appears to potentially be a demo for a female artist, wonder who? Britney?

“Explore explicit / Lets express reflexes / Exploit your pleasure / It’s the battle of the sexes,” sings Justin on the chorus.

If the two had actually recorded this together and put it out back then, it could have been massive, ha.

New Hip Hop Music: Nipsey Hussle feat. Snoop Dogg – ‘Question #1’
Snoop Dogg and Nipsey Hussle school fans on street rules on their latest collaboration, “Question #1.”

The track is all about an important question that’s often asked in the ‘hood. “What they call you where you from, ni**a?” Nip raps on the hook. “In my city, that was question number 1, ni**a / Looking at the legend I’ve become, ni**a / I can’t help but feeling like I’m the one.”

Then, Snoop, who just revealed his Coolaid cover art and release date, comes in to explain the repercussions. “Where you live? Where you hang?” he asks. “Say the wrong thing, then bang! Lights out.”

The song, which features an intro from comedian Richie Loco, was produced by Myguymars and Mike & Keys. It follows a series of “Marathon Mondays” releases including “Down as a Great,” “Ocean Views,” “The Field,” and “I Do This.

#ORLANDOHATECRIME: Orlando Shooter DL Patron been going to Gay Clubs on a Regular Basis
The man who killed 49 people at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Omar Mateen, was a regular patron of gay clubs in Florida for years, classmates, friends and club employees told ABC News.

“Sometimes he would be there for a few weeks at a time and maybe on the weekends, and then you wouldn’t see him for a little while, then you'd see him again, and that's the way it kind of went,” said 71-year-old James Van Horn, a frequent visitor to Pulse.
Two people who worked at Pulse said they also recognized Mateen as a customer. One of them, head of security Estella Peterkin, said she had to kick him out multiple times for bad behavior
FBI Director James Comey said Monday, “We are going through the killer's life, as I said, especially his electronics, to understand as much as we can about his path and whether there were anyone else involved either in directing him or in assisting him."

FBI agents are hearing accounts of Omar Mateen’s presence at gay clubs going back years.
A former classmate at a police academy — who requested he not be identified — told ABC News that Mateen hung out with him and others, frequenting Florida gay bars while they were at the Indian River State College training program as far back as 2006.
One night, he said, Mateen asked him if he was gay. “You would be my kind of guy,” the classmate said Mateen told him.

Employees and patrons at Pulse told ABC News that Mateen went to the bar on a regular basis.
Chris Callen, a performer at the club, said Mateen “didn’t seem homophobic to me.”
“He seemed really warm,” Callen said. “I don’t get the terrorist part of it.”
"He would try to meet people and try to bump up against people and put his arm around and maybe try to dance with them or something, because that's what everybody tries to do,” Van Horn said.
Another Florida man, Kevin West, told ABC News’ Houston affiliate, KTRK, that he was contacted by Mateen on a gay dating app.
“When he first contacted me, he was asking ... what clubs are popping and things of that sort and what are good places to go,” West said.
The purported behavior appears severely at odds with how Mateen said he felt about gay people, according to his ex-wife, Sitora Yusifiy, who was married to Mateen briefly in 2009.

“I started noticing in his emotional instability. He would express his anger towards [a] certain culture, homosexuality, because in ... Islamic culture, it is really not tolerated, homosexuality, and I know at the time he was trying to get his life straight and follow his faith. I guess that created some confusion between that, and there was definitely moments that he would express his intolerance to homosexuals,” she said.

The cases in which repressed homosexuality has been linked to extremism have been an interest for counter-terrorism officials in the past. In 2011, an analysis of homegrown extremists by the National Counterterrorism Center and obtained by ABC News included a secret report from the CIA that said that for some young men who converted to Islam and later became radicals, the strict religious structure offered “a hope of banishing their impulses and fantasies that they did not view as acceptable.”

Jerrold Post, a longtime former psychologist with the CIA, told ABC News today that over his career he’s seen the “psycho-dynamic” of individuals “striking out against a forbidden part of one’s self,” but that at this point it’s too early to leap to conclusions about Mateen’s motives.

Mateen was born in New York to Afghan parents in 1986 and has been described by his ex-wife and father as devout in his Muslim faith but not radical. He regularly attended a local mosque, his family said, and twice traveled to Saudi Arabia for pilgrimages to the Islamic holy city of Mecca.

During the assault Sunday, officials said he called 911 and pledged his allegiance to ISIS, the Syria-based Islamist terror group. But terrorism experts said evidence has yet to surface showing any substantive link to the terror group and FBI Director Comey said it does not appear the attack was directed from abroad. The FBI investigated Mateen in 2013 for purported “inflammatory” claims he made about being linked to extremists, but after 10 months of surveillance and two personal interviews, agents determined he was not a threat and closed the case.

“Is this an expression of radical Islam? Or does it have to do with the conflicted feelings about homosexuality?” said Post, now a Professor of Psychology at the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. “That’s an unnecessary separation. One can be, on the one hand, fighting against the perhaps inner attraction of homosexuality, and at the same time honoring the act by saying he was a radical Islamist. It doesn’t have to be one or the other. But at this point, it’s all speculation.”

YEAH RIGHT! Self hatred is AWFUL!

Bobbi Kristina’s Estate Removes Pat & Cissy Houston as Trustees?
After the July 2015 death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, her grandmother Cissy Houston and her aunt Pat were listed as trustees. But now, her estate is asking a judge to remove Pat and Cissy for refusing to pay bills.
According to Bossip, the estate administrator is accusing Pat and Cissy of refusing to pay more than $86k in bills the estate has accumulated. The administrator is also asking the judge to appoint a temporary trustee.

This isn’t the first time BK’s estate has ran into issues with Cissy and Pat. In February of this year, the two were hit with a lawsuit for failing to pay bills once again.

Looks like it’s about time Pat and Cissy kick rocks and leave the estate in the hands of someone who will do right by BK!

Fletcher Cox Signs $103 Million Contract Extension with Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox has signed a 6-year contract extension with the team worth $103 million with a $63 million guarantee. The Eagles announced the news on Monday, after spending the past few months negotiating back and forth with the veteran lineman and his agent. According to ESPN, Cox's contract extension with the Eagles gives him the highest guarantee ever for a non-quarterback in NFL history. Along with his hefty contract, Cox will also get a $26 million signing bonus.

Cox, who was drafted in the first round by the Eagles in 2012, has been with the team for the past four seasons. He has proved to be one of the biggest playmakers for the Eagles, leading the defense last year in tackles for loss or no gain. Cox had previously said that he wanted to stay in Philadelphia for the long term and now, his contract extension will keep him there through the 2022 season.
Broncos linebacker Von Miller, who is currently going through his own contract negotiations with his team, will now be looking to use Cox's contract to his advantage in order to try and get his own value up.
