DID HE or DIDN’T HE? Chris Brown allegedly Kicked a Fan!
Chris Brown is not happy about a report claiming he beat up a fan during one of his concerts. The singer took to Instagram on Saturday to dismiss the rumors and explain his side of the story.
According to Brown, he was performing a show at Gotha nightclub last month during the Cannes Film Festival when he was assaulted by the club’s security. “No fans were hurt by Chris Brown, no fans were beat up by Chris Brown,” he insisted. “Security, I don’t think he probably knew who I was, I don’t care, but he assaulted me. Grabbed his hands around my throat and tried to push me out the spot when we were walking. So we handled the situation accordingly and moved on.”
Brown’s explanation came hours after TMZ posted a video showing the “Liquor” singer stepping on a man’s head as he was lying on the ground. It’s not clear if Brown intentionally stepped on the man’s head or if it was simply an accident. The outlet reported that a fight broke out inside the club, and Brown “exploded in anger,” and “his shoe turned into a weapon.”
The alleged victim, Malek Mokrani, told TMZ that he was hospitalized after the incident for a neck injury and head pain. Mokrani said he plans to file a police report against Brown.
The 27-year-old singer’s altercation at Gotha nightclub isn’t the only incident he’s recently been involved in. Lately that is.
