Toya Wright strikes a fierce pose in a black and white pantsuit, as she covers KONTROL magazine’s “For the Love of Summer’ issue.
As the owner of Garb Boutique in New Orleans and Garb Shoetique in Atlanta, Toya dishes on why she won’t be expanding the stores beyond the two locations, and also discusses her relationship status with her estranged husband, Memphitz, who she stars alongside on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

On why she won’t be taking her boutiques to other cities:
It’s not really an urban boutique. We have trendy things like the latest fashion. We sell accessories, we sell shoes, I would say the latest fashion trends. I thought about expanding the location to different cities before, but I mean everybody [has] a boutique now. I still have love for being a boutique owner, and I’m always going to have my New Orleans location and Atlanta location. But, I don’t think I want to take it to different cities anymore. I’d rather just keep it online because we have a nice online presence. My New Orleans boutique is kind of like a tourist stop, so I’ll just keep it there. Boutiques are on every corner now. So, I don’t think that would be a smart business move.
On her relationship status with Memphitz:
No Memphitz and I are not together…we’re still friends and cool, but we are both moving on with our lives…people don’t realize it, but we filmed the show [Marriage Boot Camp] before we went on Untying The Knot so we weren’t dealing with our issues after separating everything…I definitely learned a lot from being there and it made me realize I can get through anything…we—well I—went into it open-minded and was willing to give it a try, thinking maybe it could help us out.

New Music: Chrisette Michele – ‘Equal’ (Ft. Rick Ross)
After teaming with Rick Ross on “Aston Martin Music,” Chrisette Michele gets some assistance from the MMG Bawse on her new song, “Equal.”
Following an opening apology from Rozay, Chrisette tells him she knows he doesn’t mean it when he acts a mess, and understands its his ego. The R&B songstress also lets him know: “I’m equal, I’m half of you. That ego, don’t look good on you.”

Meanwhile, Renzel picks back up with a full verse, on which he references their 2010 collaboration. “I’ve been in love with you for six years (facts),” he sings. “Since “Aston Martin Music”.. Drizzy came behind you on that smooth s**t. So iconic with the wordplay. It’s ironic I’m in first place.
“Equal” will find its place on Chrisette’s forthcoming fifth studio album, Milestone, expected this summer.
Troy Ave Drops ‘Free Troy Ave’ Mixtape
As he awaits trial, Troy Ave breaks his silence from behind bars on his new mixtape, Free Troy Ave. Throughout the 12 tracks, which include the previously-released single “Chuck Norris (Hoes & Gangstas),” the Brooklyn rapper addresses last month’s deadly shooting, which occurred at T.I.’s concert at Irving Plaza.
Ave, who is being charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, proclaims his innocence on the intro. “I’m innocent,” he says. “It ain’t the end of Troy Ave, not at all. This is just the beginning.”
Three, including Ave, were injured in the shooting, while his bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, was killed. On “Banga (RIP)” and “Intermission,” he pays homage to his late friend. “I lost my best friend and the sad part about it is I ain’t realize he was my best friend until I lost him,” explains an emotional Ave. “And that shit hurts worse than these bullets when I got shot.”

Tracee Ellis Ross & Anthony Anderson To Return As Hosts Of BET Awards
Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson, who join forces on ABC’s black-ish, will be uniting once again, to host the 2016 BET Awards on June 26th – making them the first two-time hosts.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the duo is following up their debut year (last year) with a second go round. “I’m excited and thrilled to return as co-host of the 2016 BET Awards with my talented, beautiful, and funny co-host Tracee Ellis Ross,” Anthony said. “You will not be disappointed, so put on your seat belts and lock yourself in because you’re in for a ride!”
Tracee, who admitted to EW that she hasn’t always been a fan of Anthony’s says that magic starts to happen, given the relationship between the two of them: “I feel like we’re an old comedy duo, like somehow we’re great apart but we’re great together too.”
Both are nominated for two of the night’s major awards. Tracee is up for Best Actress while Anthony is up for Best Actor – both for their roles in black-ish.
In addition to Tracee and Anthony’s chemistry, viewers can look forward to a star-studded lineup and various tributes to Prince.

Jurnee posted a super cute pic of the couple holding her tiny bump and making the big announcement to fans.
She said, "He+Me+Baby= Three. So in love with this beautiful blessing God has given us. #WeArePregnant!!"
The pregnant couple is going to have tons of help and well wishes. Jurnee comes from a huge family, and her "Empire" star brother Jussie Smollet has already taken on his uncle duties.

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton has declared ‘Prince Day’ to mark birthday.

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton has declared Tuesday to be “Prince Day” in Minnesota to mark what would have been his 58th birthday.
Prince died April 21 from an accidental overdose of the narcotic painkiller fentanyl. The governor’s proclamation, issued Monday, is meant to celebrate his contributions to music and the entertainment industry, and his quiet philanthropy.
The proclamation urges Minnesotans to wear purple Tuesday in honor of Prince’s legacy.

If you missed the news, Dodger cut ties with Evelyn’s man Carl Crawford over the weekend.
According to ESPN reports, Carl Crawford was designated for assignment by the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday with approximately $35 million remaining on a contract that runs through 2017.
Evelyn says on social media her and Carl are fine about the news after a fan asked her on social media.
