Oprah Winfrey and The Boyz COVERS "FORBES" Magazine!
Back in June 26, FORBES Magazine put on the first-ever Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, a gathering of 161 billionaires and near-billionaires who want to solve the world's problems. During a break, the mag snapped up a picture of 12 of the attendees and Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett were among them.
The photo was taken by photographer Michael Prince in the Trustees Room at the New York Public Library. The net worth in the room was $126 billion! The pic covers the 30th annual Forbes 400 issue which ranks America's wealthiest people
The Celebs JOIN Rickey Smiley For The Premiere Of "The Rickey Smiley Show"
Rickey Smiley celebrated with friends and family at a screening of his upcoming sitcom "The Rickey Smiley Show." On the show, Rickey plays a radio personality (named Rickey Smiley) who's a single father and raising his family. We will also get to see other "Rickey" characters like “Bernice Jenkins” (AKA Granny Swims, Ms. Johnson or Mrs. Francis), “Lil’ Daryl,” “Rusty Dale,” and “Beauford.” Others in the cast are J. Anthony Brown, Ray J, Roz Ryan, Noree Victoria, Jay Lewis (Lil' JJ), Ajiona Alexus and Gabriel Burgess.
And for the event, the shows' male castmembers Rickey, Lil JJ, J. Anthony Brown and Ray J each took "Red Carpet Romance" contest winners.
Chilli came out to support Rickey.
He and Ebony Steele (his morning show co-host) represented for the Deltas and Ques and showed "Coleman Love" on the red carpet. Radio personality Egypt Sherrod was there too looking fab.
Rasheeda and Kirk Frost were there with their son.
Memphitz and Toya walked the red carpet with Toya's daughter Reginae.

Director/President of Bobbcat Films, Roger Bobb helped host the party with TVOne.

2013 Stellar Awards Online Voting Open
The second round of online public voting is now open for the 28th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards. Many of our favorite artists have made the ballot including Donald Lawrence, Le’Andria Johnson, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, Jessica Reedy, Anita Wilson and many others. You are only allowed to vote for one artist in each category and only four votes per household are allowed — voting ends October 17th.
There will be a press conference to announce the final nominees in each category on October 29th. The Stellar Awards will be taped January 19, 2013, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

Malaysia Pargo Talks About Past Fight With Laura Govan In "Ebony" Magazine
In season 1 of Vh1's "Basketball Wives L.A.", Malaysia Pargo and Laura Govan got into a heated argument which turned into an all out brawl. The ladies went at it during a lunch with other castmembers and Laura Govan was left with a bloody lip.
After that altercation, the ladies did have a sit down with each other to apologize for the incident and to find out why the fight even happened. No one really had an answer as to why the fight happened and the ladies eventually moved on in a positive direction.
Fast forward to season 2 and Malaysia is now playing peacemaker between Jackie Christie and all the other girls who haven't forgiven Jackie for her gossipy ways. However, "Ebony" magazine did catch up with Malaysia to ask her about her fight with Laura Govan in season 1 and you can find out what she had to say about that fight when you click on the "Read More" button below:
EBONY: We’re living in such a “mean girl” reality TV era, and the “Basketball Wives” franchise sort of ignited the fire. Do you look back and feel you could have done some things differently?
Malaysia Pargo: Honestly, it is reality and the way I reacted toward Laura was the way I felt at that moment. I’m going to keep it real: if someone steps on my toes the way Laura did, I have to defend myself. I had to let her know that, “no baby you’re not going to keep disrespecting me”. The right thing to do was probably to walk away, but that was a situation that I kind of couldn’t walk away from. So I guess if you were to ask me if there was anything I would have done differently, I did try my best to get her to calm down and it just wasn’t working. I couldn’t even walk away from it. She wasn’t having it. She wanted to fight so, I had to give her one.

It’s been busy! I’ve been writing my memoirs, mentoring young girls and I started my foundation called “Golden Gyrl Foundation.” I started working on a mixtape and my new album. I’ve just BEen busy. It’s BEen a whirlwind, but I’ve started to write and explore myself and the thoughts inside of me. Continuously working!
I would LOVE for [a reunion] to happen! I know Tiny…she hit me like a week ago like you know lets talk and do lunch, so I may put that bug in her ear and see how she feels about it. My sister Tameka is always down so that’s her, as far as Kandi, I haven’t spoken to her, but you never know. I mean I don’t know if she would BE willing to do a reunion, I know she busy with her businesses and things. But as far as the group is concerned I would definitely wanna do something. I’m thinking about including the girls on one of my songs for my album. I think it would BE great. I think we owe our fans that as well.
After putting Kandi on blast, saying that she slept her way to the top, I’m not quite sure a reunion would happen. Then again, maybe I’m just petty….

A 125th birthday celebration deserves a dose of star power.
And Jennifer Hudson certainly gave that as she helped the staff at Hearst publishing celebrate its milestone with a performance at Hearst Tower in New York on Tuesday.
Looking stunning in a skin toned thigh length gown Jennifer entertained guests in her inimitable soulful style.
Her figure skimming lace dress highlighted her amazing figure, after she slimmed down and lost 60lbs on Weight Watchers.
The anniversary marked a duel celebration for the publishing giant, also serving as the premier of the documentary Citizen Hearst, which explores the company's 125 year history.
The documentary retraces William Randolph Hearst's conviction that print newspapers could boldly inform public opinion, through to the global impact of the company's multimedia brands and diversified businesses today.
Citizen Hearst features the personal stories and trials and tribulations that have made today's Hearst Corporation.
Featured interviews include Hearst executives and editors, including Frank A. Bennack Jr CEO of Hearst, who has led the company longer than any Hearst executive.
The film is narrated by Academy Award-nominated actor William H.Macy and will have its world premiere next month at the 2012 Hamptons International Film Festival.
Hearst famously inspired the documentary Citizen Kane, although the new movie is bound to be more flattering.

Lil Wayne Raps About Frank Ocean’s Sexuality
Lil Wayne is catching heat for a reference he makes about Frank Ocean’s sexuality in a new song. The rapper drops the rhyme on a remix ATL own Future’s single “Turn On The Lights.”
Wayne raps the line, “Tell her I skate/ I ain’t got no worries/ No Frank Ocean, I’m straight.” Ocean opened up about his sexuality in July when he published a letter on his Tumblr blog. On the blog post he wrote about a relationship he had with another man when he was 19-years-old. He went on to say that he felt like a free man. The revelation was greeted with largely positive responses from the hip-hop community. Rap mogul Russell Simmons wrote that Ocean’s coming out “gives hope and light to so many young people still living in fear.”

Tamar Braxton Inks ANOTHER Solo Deal This time With Interscope Records
Former Do Wop Pop Pop singer, Tamar Braxton, will finally be able to shine as a solo artist after all. She recently inked a solo deal similar to Lady Gaga with Streamline/Interscope Records (most likely her husband, Vince, had his hand in that arrangement).
Her first single was scheduled to be released last week on September 20th (the day her reality show, Tamar & Vince, is set to premiere) but has since been pushed back.
I was ear hustling the other day and I heard that they might want to push it back two weeks… I will definitely be getting to the bottom of that very soon because I can’t wait for everybody to hear this!
We all know Tamar can sang, let’s just hope she gets the right material to compliment her voice.

Is Michael Strahan Hiding an Ugly Secret?
Nicole Murphy, you in danger girl....Michael Strahan is hiding an ugly past. According to his ex-wife’s shocking testimony during a court hearing, the gap-toothed gridiron great cheated on her and beat her repeatedly, breaking her nose and blackening her eyes.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound former New York Giants star once punched her full in the face with his balled fist, Jean Strahan testified, and another time he pummeled her so violently that her kidneys were damaged to the point that she urinated blood!
They were thought to have an ideal marriage until she hit him with a slew of sensational claims in their bitter 2005 divorce battle.
She accused the Super Bowl champ of ditching her and their twin daughters, who are now 7, to spend time with an alleged mistress in Arizona.
She also claimed he secretly videotaped Jean’s sister while she undressed in a guest bedroom at their New Jersey mansion.
According to divorce papers obtained by The ENQUIRER, Jean claimed the vicious beatings occurred only while the couple was dating and stopped after they wed.
The judge hearing the complaint dismissed the claims against Strahan made by his then-wife.
