#MAGFAB: Angelina Jolie for CR Fashion Book
This is a new season for Angelina Jolie. Fresh off an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival for her role as Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín’s Maria, and in the throes of building a creative collective at her New York studio and fashion brand, Atelier Jolie, the actress, philanthropist and creative is finding new ways to “break the box.”
She looks Gorgeous!
NeNe Leakes is no stranger to television, but could she return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta? The star, who started on the series and went on to shows like Glee, and now she even has her own new Lifetime series called Outrageous Love with NeNe Leakes, left the show in 2020. She has not been back since, but that hasn't stopped fans from asking her to return to the series, especially with a lot of former housewives being added back to the cast for Season 16. But could that mean that Leakes would be willing to return to the series for Season 17 if she was asked back?
Season 16 is already underway with Kenya Moore out of the series and Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams returning to the series. With shake-ups still happening (Moore was removed from the cast after they already started filming due to a fight with a new housewife, Brittany Eady), Leakes' comments made fans wonder if there had already been conversations. While on an Instagram Live, Leakes talked about the potential of her coming back to the show after a fan asked her about it.
But Leakes Has Her Own Show to Worry About
A fan commented that Leakes should go back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Leakes responded with a Season 17 comment. “I live for y’all putting me on season 17. I live for y’all automatically giving me a position,” she said. While it isn't confirmation, it is interesting given the fact that she isn't outright saying no and with Moore out at the show, it would a perfect time for Leakes to return. She had, in the past, filed a lawsuit with NBCUniversal about her time on the show, claiming that she faced racism while filming. People like Andy Cohen have said that the option is there for a return.
Her Lifetime series, Outrageous Love with NeNe Leakes, just premiered in August 2024. The show is described as follows: “The new series showcases wild clips of real people caught up in love as NeNe reacts and gives her personal insight alongside the action." Bringing very real couples and their issues to Leakes' attention, the show was a reaction series and gave Leakes the chance to shine as she commented on what she was seeing. With only one season of the show out, it has yet to be renewed for a second Season.

#HipHopNews: Azealia Banks Calls SZA 'an Ugly Person' Over Perceived Slight Involving RZA
Azealia Banks has unleashed some choice words towards SZA for the perceived slight of working with RZA after asking Azealia to appear on a project.
On Sunday (September 22), the controversial Harlemite made a seemingly unprovoked statement on X (formerly Twitter), calling out what she deemed to be ugly behavior on the TDE songstress’ part.
“Sza is really such an ugly person for having rza on her album after asking me to be on it, Me politely and honestly declining, after news of him trying to pimp me out to Russell Crowe broke,” she tweeted. “That was really a huge slap in the face and truest sign of a bitch who will always be ugly.”
From there, she escalated to attacking SZA’s looks, writing: “Sis can get all the procedures in the world. She’ll always be that insecure fat Muslim girl from New Jersey with the big chin and the gay husband”
Sis can get all the procedures in the world. She'll always be that insecure fat Muslim girl from New Jersey with the big chin and the gay husband
Lmfao bitch ya pussy HARAM FOH
While Azealia Banks didn’t offer much context to her comments, it seems she’s alluding to SZA’s critically acclaimed debut studio album Ctrl.
Ahead of the project’s arrival in 2017, the “Snooze” hitmaker recruited RZA to help her announce the album’s release date and cover art.
Fans had worried that the album, which was a follow-up to 2014’s Z, would never see the light of day after the singer threatened retirement and seemed to get into a dispute with her label Top Dawg Entertainment at the tail end of 2016.
TDE founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith allayed those fears when he included the project in his 2017 rollout plans, and has now dropped a promo video announcing the release date. The clip shows SZA on a loop next to a pile of old desktop computers as New York vet RZA drops a few bars.
“I’m zoning in with my homegirl, SZA — Self Savior, Zig-Zag-Zig Allah. Yeah, I think you can take that far, Mama. Ya know what I mean? Cut loose the drama, no melodrama. Rise to the top, claim ya karma. And it’s my honor to drop this lesson, it’s my honor to give this blessing.”
Since the top of the year, Azealia Banks has made headlines for online rants aimed at everyone from her former landlord to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky to Beyoncé to Ice Spice.
But SZA’s TDE labelmate Doechii for one did not take the social media disrespect lying down.
The back-and-forth was sparked by Banks calling Doechii’s fans “wannabes” after she publicly asked for suggestions for a nickname for her fanbase.
The “Alter Ego” rapper replied: “The first time you came for me I let it slide outta respect for my elders. It’s not my fault you sellin bussy soap and I’m sellin platinum records. Leave me alone PLEASE.”
Doechii later doubled down on her criticism of Azealia Banks in a scathing rant, calling the controversial rapper a “wasted talent.”
Posting on her Instagram Stories on April 11, the Florida rapper said: “I use my platform to make money and inspire people. Everyone around me is inspired by me. I’m positive influence.”
She continued: “You used to be so respected for your talents and your voice. Now you use your platform to gossip about Black artists and sell Mary Kay products. You’re insufferable.”
She then hit out at Banks for referencing her skin color: “It took you 3 business days to come up with that comeback just to resort to colorism… boooo! Does it not get tiring being an attack dog for the very same white gays you allegedly vehemently despise? That’s the only audience that wants to watch 2 talented Black women go at each other’s throats.”
Doechii went further: “Your brain is fried from meds, you’re damn near immobile from the shots. Don’t hurt yourself. You gossip about BLACK artists to stay relevant and it’s sad. You definitely are an issue just not the icons… you’re one post away from the psych ward. STOP IT!
“Your diagnosis is wasted talent. I bowed down, I kissed the ring but bitch I’M ME! Hate to do you like this but you not finna bully me out my lane. I’ve done in two years of signing what you couldn’t do in your entire career. YOU’RE WELCOME.”

Diddy Accused Of Drugging Cassie Collaborator: ‘i Knew Instantly Something Was Wrong’
Diddy has been accused of drugging a Cassie collaborator, who said she “instantly” knew “something was wrong” when it happened.
Songwriter Tiffany Red took to Instagram on Thursday (September 19) to share an experience she had with the disgraced Bad Boy mogul.
“Today, I feel a little safer knowing Sean Combs is behind bars,” Red wrote. “I’m grateful to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and Homeland Security for stepping in and showing Mr. Combs and the music industry, which enabled him that they’re not above the law. This past year has been incredibly stressful and terrifying at times, but I am grateful for the opportunity to free myself from all these dark experiences.
“While co-creating Cassie’s sophomore album, I was degraded by Sean Combs, deceived by him, his team, and the record labels about the music being released, I was exposed to Diddy’s abuse of Cassie and others in her circle, and I unknowingly consumed something laced without my consent at his Hombly Hills home studio while writing for Cassie back in 2017.”
She continued: “I’ll never forget screaming, ‘What’s in this?!’ I knew instantly after smoking the joint that something was wrong. I got away that night by the grace of GOD, but I am haunted by the things I can’t remember about that evening.
“No one should have to endure this kind of trauma to pursue success in the music industry. We all deserve better.”
Diddy’s frantic text messages to Cassie following his brutal assault of her in 2016 were revealed in court following his recent arrest.
The message was made public during the rap mogul’s bail appeal hearing in New York on Wednesday (September 18), which resulted in him being denied bond for a second time.
During the hearing, Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson read out texts that Diddy sent Cassie after the shocking hotel attack, footage of which was released earlier this year.
According to Johnson, the Bad Boy boss wrote to his then-girlfriend: “Call me, the cops are here. I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone.”
“The defendant knew he had done something that could elicit police response,” Johnson said of the text.
Cassie at some point texted Diddy to say she still had “crazy bruising” from the assault, Johnson told Judge Andrew L. Carter.
She also said to him: “When you get fucked up, you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child.”

Usher deletes all of his tweets; many fans connect it to the Diddy debacle
Usher‘s decision to delete all his tweets has left many of his 11 million followers on X shocked and speculating about the reason behind the sudden move. Some believe the mass deletion may be connected to the ongoing scandal surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, which has severely impacted his musical legacy and shaken the pop culture landscape.
Some fans openly wonder why Usher deleted all of his X posts
However, Usher’s 13-million-strong Instagram account remains intact. That seemingly contradictory action has made some wonder what precipitated the move to wipe out the posts on his X, though he did not delete that account.
Usher’s previous pronouncements and movements are coming under intense scrutiny by some fans after he admitted in 2016 that his mind was blown away by many of the things he saw while living in Diddy’s home at age 13. Now, at 45 years old, those Usher recollections and subsequent interviews are going viral again after Diddy was indicted on three felony charges and relegated to the Metropolitan Correctional Facility in Brooklyn, New York.
During that infamous interview with Howard Stern, Usher told Stern that he was permanently changed by what he witnessed.
“I got a chance to see some things. I went there to see the lifestyle, and I saw it,” he said about the Bad Boy boss. “It was pretty wild. It was crazy. They called me Baby Boo. He wasn’t disciplinary; he was letting me be a young man. He was always a family member from afar, so I never felt a disconnection. I will always look at him like a brother.”
Some fans talk about Usher’s friend Justin Bieber, who also spent time with Diddy
Other fans are disturbed anew by the “super creepy” interaction between Diddy and then-teenage sensation Justin Bieber who had just rocketed to international success.
Usher has not commented publicly about why he and/or his team deleted all of his posts. Meanwhile, some fans opined on Bieber, who has admitted to mental health issues, canceled at least one tour and reportedly stopped recording indefinitely.

Janet Jackson’s ‘Rep’: I Was Fired Over Kamala Harris Apology Drama She did not approve and still has not commented on the Controversy
VIA The Daily Beast: Representatives for Janet Jackson say an apology attributed to her Sunday was never authorized.
The man who claims to be the former manager of Janet Jackson says he was fired by the pop star and her brother, Randy, due to disagreements after an article published over the weekend in The Guardian revealed the 58-year-old claimed Vice President Kamala Harris is “not Black.”
“Janet Jackson fired me due to disagreements between me, her, and Randy, after her meeting with the Guardian and her unbalanced statements,” Mo Elmasri told the Daily Beast in an emailed statement.
“That’s all I can say,” he added. When asked for further comment, he said he could not “receive phone calls due to the large number of calls,” while adding, “All support to Kamala Harris.”
It comes after an unexpected twist Sunday when representatives for Jackson confirmed that an “apology” made on behalf of the singer from “manager” Elmasri were not made or authorized by the singer at all.
Jackson created headlines on Saturday after a viral interview with The Guardian, in which the 58-year-old claimed Harris is “not Black.”
“That’s what I heard,” Jackson told The Guardian. “That she’s Indian. Her father’s white. That’s what I was told. I mean, I haven’t watched the news in a few days. I was told that they discovered her father was white.”
Jackson echoed MAGA talking points that have already been debunked as recently as July, when Harris’ 2024 Republican opponent, Donald Trump, questioned her ethnicity.
“I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black,” he said at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago.

.Harris is both the first Black and Asian-American vice-president. Her mother, Shyamala Gopalan, was born in India, while her father, Donald J. Harris, was born in Jamaica.
After an apparent apology was first reported by Buzzfeed, Jackson’s reps confirmed to Variety that it was sent by someone who they say wasn’t authorized to speak on her behalf.
After an apparent apology was first reported by Buzzfeed, Jackson’s reps confirmed to Variety that it was sent by someone who they say wasn’t authorized to speak on her behalf.
The Buzzfeed apology, cited to Elmasri, said: “Janet Jackson would like to clarify her recent comments.”
“She recognizes that her statements regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity were based on misinformation. Janet respects Harris’ dual heritage as both Black and Indian and apologizes for any confusion caused. She values the diversity Harris represents and understands the importance of celebrating that in today’s society. Janet remains committed to promoting unity and understanding.”
Variety reports Jackson is in fact managed by her brother, Randy. The pair are said to be offline as they grieve the death of their older brother, Tito, who died last last week.
Deadline reports that Elmasri is listed as Jackson’s manager on her IMDb page. Elmasri is also listed on another industry site, Celebrity Service, as her manager. The site says his status was last verified Sept. 22.
Elmasri’s personal IMDb page cites himself as an Egyptian filmmaker who “now works as a creative consultant for many global superstars, including Janet Jackson.”
Reps also confirmed to TMZ that Elmasri has no connection to Jackson whatsoever. Jackson herself has yet to weigh in on the furor.
Requests for comment from Randy Jackson from the Daily Beast for clarification were not immediately answered.
Kevin Hart’s Company Demands Comedian’s Ex-Friend’s $12 Million Lawsuit Be Moved Out of Public Eye
Kevin Hart’s company pleaded with a judge to not allow the comedian’s former friend Jonathan T. Jackson’s lawsuit to be fought in public, In Touch has exclusively learned.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Hartbeat LLC, Kevin’s entertainment company, argued that Jonathan’s case needed to be moved out of Los Angeles Superior Court and into arbitration.
The move would mean Kevin, 45, and Jonathan’s back and forth in court would be heard by a private judge. All of the proceedings would be sealed and none of the filings in the case would be released to the public.
Hartbeat said Jonathan entered into an agreement with Kevin and his company in July 2021. Kevin’s company said the deal had a provision that stated all disputes would be heard in arbitration.
A lawyer for the company argued, “Each of [Jonathan’s] claims against Hartbeat (the first, second, third, and fifth) relate to whether [Kevin and his company] breached the contract, whether [Jonathan] was fraudulently induced to enter the contract (which Jackson maintains is valid and enforceable), whether [Hart and his company’s] breach of the contract inflicted emotional distress on [Jonathan], and whether [Jonathan] can even bring a defamation claim, which would have been released as part of [Jonathan’s] obligations under the contract.”
Jonathan has yet to respond. As In Touch previously reported, in his lawsuit filed earlier this year, Jonathan accused Kevin of breach of written contract, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Jonathan said he had a “notable career” in Hollywood before his reputation was “unjustly tarnished due to a series of malicious actions by the defendants, leading to profound emotional distress, financial losses, and professional setbacks.”
In the suit, Jonathan noted Kevin was involved in a highly publicized sex tape scandal in 2017.
Following the scandal, Jonathan said he was blamed for the video being filmed and had false extortion claims filed against him.
“Although Hart did not personally accuse [Jonathan] at this stage, he contributed to the initiation of these false claims,” the lawsuit said.
Jonathan also claimed the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office conducted a raid initiated from an extortion report “falsely reported” by Kevin and his team.
To make matters worse, Jonathan said Kevin then slammed him in a 2019 stand-up special.
The parties agreed to resolve their issues in 2021 with a settlement. Jonathan claimed that Kevin agreed to make a public statement after Jonathan’s criminal case was dismissed.
The alleged deal said Jonathan and Kevin were prohibited from speaking about the Vegas trip, where the sex tape was filmed.
The alleged deal read, “Jackson agrees not to discuss or disclose details of the Trip or any other personal details regarding KH or HartBeat to anyone including but not limited to a public audience/media, print media, social media or the like in any form now known or created in the future.”
However, despite the deal, Jonathan said Kevin did not make the agreed-upon statement after the charges were dismissed.
The suit claimed Kevin “blatantly breached the contract by failing to issue the agreed-upon public statement exonerating [Jonathan], causing significant harm and irreparable damage.”
Jonathan’s lawsuit seeks more than $12 million in damages.

Chingy will not be RIGHT THURR He has cancelled Performing at a Republican LGBT Event
It appears that Chingy, in fact, won’t be “Right Thurr” at the Republican LGBT “Red, White & Rock” event in Nashville on Sunday, September 29.
The St. Louis rapper was one of the performers slated to take the stage at the event with Donald Trump Jr.
However, once the flyer announcing his performance dropped, Chingy received an influx of backlash and criticism.
Initially, Chingy defended his decision to perform at the event writing:
I’m a say this one time. MY JOB IS TO PERFORM AND I GET PAID TO PERFORM, NOT CAURR ABOUT POLITICS. NOW YALL FIND SUMIN ELSE TO DO WITH YURR TIME.
Well, it didn’t take long for Chingy to change his tune because he slid into the comment section of Baller Alert’s Instagram page to share he has backed out of the performance…under duress.
YOU KNO WHAT JUS CAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS MESS. I HAVE DECLINED PERFORMING AND NO IM NOT A TRUMP SUPPORTER NOR SUPPORTER OF ANYONE ELSE BUT CHINGY. THURR YOU HAVE IT.
Sadly, Chingy’s entire career has been negatively impacted by his choices.
I’m sure someone should or could have advised him that this wasn’t going to benefit him outside of the few coins he would have collected for his one-off performance.

DDG Responds To Criticism Over Bringing Son Halo On Livestream: “It’s Called Multitasking”
DDG has had enough of social media critics. On Saturday (Sept. 21), the “Moonwalking in Calabasas” hitmaker responded to people upset that he brought his son Halo onto his livestream.
“This s**t is killing me. Why do they have this child on stream?” wrote one Twitter user, to which DDG swiftly responded in a since-removed tweet, “Because I was on stream working, making this thing called money, but I’m also a present dad watching my son. It’s called multitasking. Now, where’s your dad?”
In a separate post, he challenged the disrespectful stan accounts to show their faces. “Y’all lil’ fan pages gon’ have to drop selfies along [with] the hate. S**t ain’t fair, [for real]. Take pride in yo’ ugliness,” the Michigan native stated.
DDG pushed back against naysayers in the past for their comments about his son, and the criticism has only ramped up since he and girlfriend Halle Bailey showed Halo’s face. In July, the couple shared photos of the baby boy — without pixels covering his face — from their vacation in Italy.
“I have to realize that my son is richer than them, and he has a more successful life. He’s in Italy at 6 months [old],” the YouTuber-turned-rapper said in response to negative remarks.
Interestingly, Bailey also addressed the hate on Saturday. “I’m so tired of people thinking it’s OK to talk about my career and my child. Leave us alone,” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet before urging critics to focus on themselves instead. The songstress added, “God will continue to cover and protect my family.”

Lady GaGa made sure her fans had a nice experience when watching her latest movie. Being on hand to promote "Joker: Folie a Deux", the singer/actress didn't come empty handed when greeting the audience at a recent screening of her film.
On Saturday night, September 22, the 38-year-old made an appearance at the screening of the musical sequel in Los Angeles. An exact location of the event is unknown, but videos of GaGa's appearance at the screening have made their rounds on the Internet.
In the footage, the "American Horror Story: Hotel" star walked into the theater with her team. She was seen walking near the front row and holding bags of popcorn that she distributed to the audience. She did not forget those sitting in the back, throwing some of the popcorn as far as possible.
The "Bad Romance" hitmaker accidentally dropped two bags of popcorn and picked them up. She was all smiles while handing out the popcorn and walked out after distributing all of the snacks she brought with the help of her crew member.
Staying true to her unique style, GaGa, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, showed up in a bizarre outfit that included a black coat with a large puffy collar and sleeves. She appears to put on fishnet stockings underneath the coat while rocking a volumized hairstyle.
In "Joker: Folie a Deux", GaGa stars as Harleen "Lee" Quinzel a.k.a. Harley Quinn, a patient at Arkham State Hospital who meets Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix). Her curiosity eventually turns to obsession, and she forms a deadly romantic relationship with him.
Describing Quinzel, director Todd Phillips noted how this version of the character is manipulative, amoral and "more grounded," with the film deliberately ignoring much of the character's classic mannerisms and style to fit into the world created in "Joker" (2019).
The "Joker" sequel had its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 4. It is scheduled for an international release on October 2 before opening in U.S. theaters on October 4.

In an unexpected twist, the afterlife comedy "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" has outmaneuvered the towering "Transformers One" at the box office, earning an estimated $26 million in its third weekend. The long-awaited sequel, which reunites original cast members Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara and Michael Keaton, has now grossed $226 million domestically and $329 million worldwide.
"Transformers One", the animated prequel to the blockbuster franchise, debuted with a respectable $25 million, slightly below expectations. It features an all-star voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry and Scarlett Johansson, and tells the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron. However, it faced competition from "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" and a lack of significant overperformance in key demographics.
Despite its impressive cast, "Transformers One" performance appears to have been affected by its intended target audience of younger boys, rather than the broader fan base of the "Transformers" brand. Additionally, its co-financing arrangement and strong merchandise potential may have tempered Paramount Animation's expectations for a higher box office opening.
Meanwhile, Lionsgate's Halle Berry-led thriller "Never Let Go" stumbled with a disappointing $4.5 million debut. The survival drama is the latest in a string of low-grossing releases for Lionsgate, raising questions about the post-pandemic box office landscape for mid-budgeted films.
Mubi's body horror satire "The Substance", starring Demi Moore, also opened weakly with $3.1 million. Despite positive critical reception, its polarizing nature may have limited its appeal with audiences.
Overall, the domestic box office remains challenged, with revenues trailing both 2023 and 2019 levels. However, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" has emerged as a bright spot, providing a much-needed boost to an otherwise sluggish September movie slate. Industry analysts are hopeful that October will bring stronger releases to revitalize the market.

‘Matlock’ Creator Explains Big Twist of New Kathy Bates Show
“That’s the thing about older women — no one sees us coming.” That’s Madeline Matlock (Kathy Bates) in the first episode of CBS’s rebooted “Matlock,” inspired, of course, by the iconic lawyer TV show. But this is a fresh take on the character — Bates’ Matlock isn’t a long-lost daughter of the fictional icon. No, she’s just a lawyer who suddenly has a grandson to raise and therefore needs a new job at a fancy law firm to pay the bills.
Orrr at least that’s what viewers spend most of the premiere episode, which aired September 22, thinking. But 10 minutes before the end credits roll, after the moving case of the week has been solved, TV audiences learn that actually, Matlock is a fake last name for Madeline. In reality, she’s undercover at the law firm Jacobson Moore because of her daughter, who died of an opioid overdose. Matty learned that one of three lawyers at the firm hid documents that could have taken opioids off the market 10 years sooner, thereby saving her daughter. So she’s going to figure out who it was that hid the paperwork, she explains via voiceover in the ending seconds, and she’s going to make them pay.
Not exactly your parents’ “Matlock.” I read an article about a law firm that was sanctioned for not turning over discovery in the opioid case, and, you know, you get a $200,000 fine or something like that, and it’s so destructive, what not turning over [evidence] does,” creator Jennie Snyder Urman explained to IndieWire. “And I started thinking, ‘Where is that moral line where you’re obligated to serve your client, of course, but it feels criminal?’ It feels criminal to just pile papers when there’s a public health crisis going on and we need the information to deal with it, and to start moving beyond it.
“So that had been in my head for a while,” she continued, “and I’d been interested in talking about that, and talking about addiction and talking about loss. Then when I was thinking about Matty and how I would want to use the character, I was thinking, ‘What would be big enough to have this woman go back into the law firm, what would also give that sort of deep emotional grounding to the whole enterprise, so that we could go and we could be on her side’ … and we know that there’s something so deep that she’s trying to heal through this.”
This season-long runner will have plenty of twists, but never fear about this turning into a years-long never-ending mystery without a conclusion, Urman promises. “You will know definitively by the end of the episode [in this season finale] who did what, when, and how. So we will solve that, and then that will sort of open up veins of story,” she said.
Rebooting “Matlock” wasn’t the “Jane the Virgin” creator’s original goal. But her production company inquired about the “Matlock” rights, and then she learned Eric Christian Olsen’s production company (Cloud Nine) actually had the rights to the title. He asked her if she would want to write it. “I wasn’t originally looking for a legal show at that moment, I was thinking I was just in a different space. But I always say, ‘Let me think about it.’ I never turn anything down, because you never know where inspiration comes and then [I] took a long, long walk, because that’s how I think of all my ideas and projects. And by the end of it, I just had this take and it felt like something that I had to do suddenly.”
Star aligned when Urman learned this was a story Kathy Bates (!) was interested in telling. “I was in shock that she read the script, she read it so quickly, and that she wanted to meet,” Urman said. “And then, she gave me such a gift when we went to meet, because I was very nervous, of course. And everybody was like, ‘Sell her on it.’ And I came in and she said, ‘I wouldn’t change a word. Let’s talk about the character.’ So we got to just get right into the work of it, and talk and get to know each other. … And we just got to start talking creatively right away, which is both of our passions. … And so I left, and I called everyone, and I said, ‘Well, she said she’s doing it.'”

The unveiling of the “Luther: Never Too Much” trailer comes after the documentary arrives at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in January. In June, the film generated talk again after its screening at the Tribeca Film Festival.
“It was a joy to work on this film,” “Luther: Never Too Much” director Dawn Porter expressed in a statement to People. “Luther was a spectacularly talented performer, composer, and producer. His influence was found in multiple genres, and it was a delight to discover each one. It has been so much fun to see longtime fans remember why they love him, and new fans come to understand his brilliance.”
During his life, Vandross was a musical cornerstone full of classic material. Among his hits were “Here and Now,” “Any Love,” “A House Is Not a Home,” “Give Me The Reason,” “Stop to Love,” “Power of Love/Love Power” and “Dance With My Father,” among many others. In 2005, Vandross passed away after suffering complications of a stroke. He was 54.
Commenting on “Luther: Never Too Much,” Giant Pictures General Manager Nick Savva voiced the studio’s love for the film, labeling it “a huge crowd-pleaser and a must-see, not only for existing fans of Luther Vandross but also for those discovering his incredible talents for the first time.”

Doja Cat Quickly Shuts Down Engagement Rumors After Flashing Massive Rock During iHeart Show
Doja Cat is shutting down the rumors about her alleged engagement to actor Joseph Quinn.
The chatter began on Saturday when the 28-year-old rapper sparked curiosity after flashing a ring on her left hand during her set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Images and video from her “Angora Hills” performance showed her holding out her hand, singing the lyrics, “Rub it in their face, put a rock on her hand.”
Fans immediately wondered if the “Paint the Town Red” artist had gotten engaged to the “Stranger Things” star. However, Doja quickly set the record straight, slamming any notion that she was walking down the aisle any time soon.
“No, I’m not engaged, it’s a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it,” she clarified in a now-deleted tweet.
Doja Cat and Quinn were first seen publicly together in August, holding hands while strolling through London. Their initial public appearance took place on August 17th, and they were spotted again the following day. It’s unknown exactly how long they’ve been an item, but the pair appear pretty happy with one another.
Nevertheless, no wedding bells just yet.

Donald Trump Says He Won’t Run Again If He Loses 2024 Election
Former President Donald Trump has made it clear that if he doesn’t win the 2024 presidential election, he won’t be making another bid for the White House in 2028. During an interview on “Full Measure” with Sharyl Attkisson, Trump was asked if he would consider running again in four years should his current campaign not be successful. His response left no room for doubt.
“No, I think that will be it. I don’t see that at all,” Trump said.
Despite the hypothetical scenario, Trump remained optimistic about his chances in the upcoming election. “I think that hopefully we’re going to be successful,” he said, emphasizing his focus on victory in 2024.
After his 2020 defeat, many speculated that he would remain a dominant figure in Republican politics for years to come.

“No, I think that will be it. I don’t see that at all,” Trump said.
