#FASHIONFILES: NYFW: Oprah for LaPointe Spring 2025 Collection
LaPointe, the New York City based fashion brand is thrilled to announce the unveiling of its Spring 2025 Collection featuring Oprah Winfrey. The collection's full name is LaPointe Spring 25: The Muse.
As a brand founded by women, anchored around empowerment and making your statement, Creative Director Sally LaPointe could think of no better Muse for Spring 2025, or any season for that matter, than Oprah Winfrey to personify the ethos LaPointe stands for.
The Spring 2025 LaPointe lookbook was photographed by Ruven Afanador and features Winfrey wearing looks in Jade, Oat, White and Black with pops of color in Hot Pink, Deep Pink and Yellow Glow. The collection redefines the uncomplicated styling the brand has become known for.
"I view Oprah as my North Star," said LaPointe. "We have been dressing her periodically for a few years now, so I have gotten to understand her style and what she gravitates towards, which aligns perfectly with the LaPointe ethos I want to project. She epitomizes who the LaPointe woman is in every way: a strong, courageous individual who dresses for herself and no one else. I view her as someone who wants to look put together but not overdone and doesn't sacrifice comfort in order to show up as her most confident self. In the short time we spent together, she instilled in me this notion of "Never giving up and being true to yourself" that stuck, and I hope will resonate with our audience around this collection."
Oprah Winfrey said: "The main reason I said yes was because of how warm and open Sally was when I first met her. She is a woman in power, empowering other women through her work, her artistry and her clothes - and I wanted to support that."
The collection will be available for online pre-orders as of today via LAPOINTE | Luxury Monochrome |

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Prevails Over Ex Simon Guobadia in Prenup Battle
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams has won a legal battle in her ongoing divorce proceedings with ex Simon Guobadia.
A Fulton County, Georgia, court ruled on Thursday, September 12, that Williams, 43, and Guobadia’s prenuptial agreement is “empirically fair” after Guobadia, 60, tried to contest its enforceability.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the main purpose of the prenup, which Williams and Guobadia signed prior to their 2022 wedding, was “to avoid contested and expensive litigation, including the costly and potentially intrusive discovery process” in the event of a divorce. Williams’ legal team cited the prenup when arguing against Guobadia subpoenaing Williams and her employer, True Entertainment, LLC, for materials dating back three years.
Williams' lawyers argued that because the prenup “has not been deemed unenforceable,” the court “should not allow any discovery” of materials “whatsoever,” or “limit discovery” to requests that are “immediately relevant” to determining the enforceability of the prenup. The court agreed with Williams’ argument, denying Guobadia’s Emergency Motion to Compel Mandatory and Additional Discovery.

The court agreed with Williams’ argument, denying Guobadia’s Emergency Motion to Compel Mandatory and Additional Discovery.
Guobadia previously claimed that when he signed the prenup, he was under the impression that Williams intended to be a homemaker and stay-at-home mom during their marriage. He argued that Williams’ “desire to return to reality television” or other employment “constitutes a non-disclosure of material fact and misrepresentation” which renders the prenup unenforceable.
The court disagreed with Guobadia on Thursday, noting that Williams’ future employment plans are “not mentioned whatsoever” in the exes’ prenup,” and that Williams has “been a reality TV celebrity for years,” which was “well known” to Guobadia when he signed the agreement.
The documents also note that Williams and Guobadia negotiated the agreement for over one year, beginning in November 2021, and ruled that there is “no evidence to support” that “fraud, duress, mistake, misrepresentation or nondisclosure of material facts” took place during negotiations. Us Weekly has reached out to Williams and Guobadia for comment.
Williams filed for divorce in February after 15 months of marriage. One week before filing the legal documents, Bravo announced that Williams would return for season 16 of RHOA after a two-year break. She previously appeared on seasons 5 through 13.
“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” Williams said in a statement to Deadline at the time. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and showing the world my new world!”
Bravo's Andy Cohen subsequently shared that Williams’ split did not play a part in her returning to the reality series.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia’s Split: What We Know
“None of us knew any of this was on the horizon, and this was really meant to be Porsha’s happily-ever-after kind of victory lap season,” Cohen, 56, said during a February episode of his Sirius XM radio show, Andy Cohen Live. “I was so surprised and taken aback, and listen, we wanted Porsha on the show for Porsha.”

#HipHopNews: Rick Ross Addresses Possible Drake Reconciliation
Rick Ross‘ war with Drake has drawn many opinions over the last few months, and now, Rozay himself is clearing the air with his own words. The rapper recently sat down with Yung Miami on Caresha Please and addressed how he feels about everything that went down and also whether or not a reconciliation could occur in the future.
“He mentioned my name, and that’s a no-no. Don’t do that,” Ross said when the City Girl asked if the beef between them was real or about business. “Especially when it ain’t about no real s**t. If that’s how we gon’ play? That’s cool.”
He continued, “I enjoy that I can wake up every day and say BBL Drizzy or some more s**t while I’m smoking a joint, listening to the waterfalls and all that sh*t, looking at the birds fly off. That sh*t easy for me, but is everybody built for this? It most definitely could be a real thing.”
Yung Miami then asked if a reconciliation was possible in one day, as Drake and Ross have a well-documented working relationship that many fans enjoyed.
“I don’t know, it depend on how I feel… Me being boss, everybody don’t understand the opportunities they have,” Ross said. “Some n**gas take sh*t for granted. I don’t know what it is. Everybody that’s been loyal to me or been down with me, you know that’s something that I extend for the longevity of time.”
Although he didn’t explicitly declare that burying the hatchet was impossible, he said it wouldn’t be easy. “I just think when you not really from the streets, and really understand the way certain things work sometimes, you could take sh*t for granted,” the Port Of Miami rapper went on. “Then, two months later sh*t be looking crazy for you when you really could have just… This sh*t just really be a phone call. A lot of this sh*t be a misunderstanding. But when you jump out there, I don’t know homie.”
Back in March, Ross made his feelings for the 6 God clear when he shared a video of himself driving around listening to Kendrick Lamar’s infamous “Like That” verse. A few weeks later, Drake fired back with “Push Ups” targeted at K. Dot, Ross, The Weeknd, Metro, and more. The Miami rapper countered him hours later with “Champagne Moments.”
Things continued to build steam when Drake and Ross continued to exchange petty shots on Instagram about each other’s houses, financial status, and more. The Richer Than I Ever Been rapper also got jumped in Vancouver after playing Lamar’s “Not Like Us” at a show.

American ballet dancer Michaela DePrince who appeared on “Dancing With the Stars” and Beyoncé's “Lemonade” has died at 29
"Her legacy will continue to inspire generations of dancers, but her absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply," said Misty Copeland.
Michaela DePrince, a barrier-breaking ballerina who appeared on Dancing With the Stars and in Beyoncé's Lemonade film, has died at age 29.
The dancer's official Instagram page announced the news on Friday, and the DePrince family confirmed her death in a statement on a spokesperson's Facebook page. A cause of death was not revealed.
"With pain in our hearts, we share the loss of star ballerina Michaela Mabinty DePrince, whose artistry touched countless hearts and whose spirit inspired many, leaving an indelible mark on the world of ballet, and beyond," a statement on DePrince's Instagram signed by "Team MDP "reads.
Born Mabinty Bangura in Kenema, Sierra Leone, in 1995, DePrince grew up in an orphanage, where she was cruelly mistreated and mocked for her vitiligo. "They thought of me as a devil's child. They told me every day how I wasn't going to get adopted because nobody would want a devil's child," she told the BBC in 2012. However, she and another girl named Mabinty, who now goes by Mia, were adopted by Elaine and Charles DePrince in New Jersey in 1999.
After fixating on an image of a ballerina in a magazine, DePrince enrolled in ballet school in Philadelphia and performed at the Youth America Grand Prix. She was one of six primary subjects in the 2011 documentary First Position, trained at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of Ballet in New York, and appeared in an episode of Dancing With the Stars the same year. She went on to join the Dutch National Ballet's junior company and later became second soloist for the Boston Ballet.
DePrince is perhaps most recognized outside the ballet community for her appearance in the "Freedom" section of Beyoncé's Lemonade film, inspired by her 2016 album of the same name. "The director gave me music to listen to, and about three minutes later, he had me dance to it," she told Entertainment Tonight in 2016. "I improvised, choreographing the dance on the spot. I needed three takes. When I saw the final Lemonade video, it was fun to see my name on the credits for choreography." She also starred in the 2021 ballet film Coppelia.
DePrince chronicled her journey in her 2016 memoir, Taking Flight: From War Orphan to Star Ballerina, which Madonna circled as a directorial project in 2018. The dancer also wrote a children's book titled Ballerina Dreams.
"Her life was one defined by grace, purpose, and strength," reads the statement from Team MDP. "Her unwavering commitment to her art, her humanitarian efforts, and her courage in overcoming unimaginable challenges will forever inspire us. She stood as a beacon of hope for many, showing that no matter the obstacles, beauty and greatness can rise from the darkest of places."
DePrince's sister Mia also paid tribute to the late dancer. "I am truly in a state of shock and deep sadness. My beautiful sister is no longer here," she wrote. "From the very beginning of our story back in Africa, sleeping on a shared mat in the orphanage, Michaela (Mabinty) and I used to make up our own musical theater plays and act them out. We created our own ballets. She would choreograph, and I was the composer and conductor. When we got adopted, our parents quickly poured into our dreams and arose the beautiful, gracefully strong ballerina that so many of you knew her as today."
She continued, "She was an inspiration. Whether she was leaping across the stage or getting on a plane and flying to third-world countries to provide orphans and children with dance classes, she was determined to conquer all her dreams in the arts and dance. Michaela (Mabinty) has left her footprints in the sand and on so many stages across the world. She will be truly missed."
Fellow ballerina Misty Copeland also posted a tribute to DePrince. "Michaela had so much more to give, not just to ballet, but to the world," Copeland wrote. "Her legacy will continue to inspire generations of dancers, but her absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply. The ballet world, and all those whose lives she touched, will miss her profoundly. She was a bright light, and her impact will never be forgotten."

“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider told the publication. “This is something she wants to do.”

Jane's Addiction Axes Next Show After Perry Farrell Punched Dave Navarro On Stage, Apologizes For Scuffle
It was a night fans won't soon forget - Jane's Addiction's performance in Boston was cut short when an onstage altercation erupted between singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro. As tensions simmered and eventually boiled over, the band was forced to issue a public apology to their fans and cancel subsequent shows.
The incident occurred during Jane's Addiction's set at the MGM Music Hall when a visibly upset Perry Farrell threw a punch at Dave Navarro, abruptly ending the concert. Footage of the altercation shows that the band was in the middle of playing "Ocean Size," their 11th song of the night, when Farrell's frustrations with the sound levels reached a boiling point.
"We want to extend a heartfelt apology for the events that unfolded last night," the band stated in an Instagram story following the incident. "As a result, we will be cancelling tomorrow night's show in Bridgeport."
Fans who had purchased tickets for the Bridgeport concert were provided with refund details, but the future of the tour, set to continue through October 16, remains uncertain.
Etty Lou Farrell, Perry's wife, shared her perspective on the incident via Instagram, explaining that her husband had been battling discomfort from tinnitus and a sore throat exacerbated by the high volume levels on stage. This, she claimed, led to his aggressive outburst toward Navarro, who tried to maintain his composure, looking baffled and allegedly saying, "What the f**k?"
However, Etty Lou was critical of bassist Eric Avery's actions during the scuffle, which spilled backstage, accusing him of taking "cheap shots" at Perry while he was being restrained by the crew. "He put Perry in a headlock and punched him in the stomach three times," she alleged.
The chaotic night ended with Perry breaking down and crying backstage. "Perry was a crazed beast for the next half an hour - he finally did not calm down," his wife claimed.
Jane's Addiction has long been known for its internal friction, dating back to their split at the height of their popularity in 1991. With members often divided into factions, the latest altercation seems to underscore ongoing tensions within the band. Despite previous reunions, their relationships remain fraught, as evidenced by this recent incident.
The band's tour, which marked the first time their original lineup had performed together in years, was scheduled to conclude in Los Angeles on October 16. Whether they will continue as planned remains to be seen, as fans await further updates.

Pharrell Williams has confirmed that he and his longtime collaborator Chad Hugo are not currently on speaking terms. The pair, who formed The Neptunes in 1992 and N.E.R.D. in 1994, have been embroiled in a legal battle over the trademark rights to The Neptunes name.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Williams acknowledged that the lawsuit has strained their relationship. "I always wish him the absolute best," Williams said of Hugo. When asked directly if they were on speaking terms, he replied, "No."
Hugo filed the lawsuit in April 2023, alleging that Williams was "fraudulently" seeking sole control over the trademarks without consulting him. Hugo's attorneys claimed that Williams had disregarded an agreement between them to split ownership and royalties equally.
Despite their legal differences, Williams expressed gratitude for their past collaboration. "I love him, and I always wish him the absolute best, and I'm very grateful for our time together," he said.
The lawsuit has overshadowed the release of Williams' upcoming LEGO-animated biographical documentary, "Piece by Piece." Hugo appears in the film as a voice character, reflecting on their partnership. Williams praised the film's director for shaping the narrative, despite his initial reservations about including his private life.
The split between Williams and Hugo marks a significant shift in the music industry, where their creative force has been instrumental in crafting numerous hit songs for artists such as Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Nelly and Justin Timberlake. Their work has earned them numerous accolades, including three Grammy Awards.
The lawsuit remains ongoing, with a representative for Williams expressing surprise and a willingness to share ownership of the trademark. The outcome of the legal battle will likely determine the future of The Neptunes brand and the relationship between Williams and Hugo.

Dave Bautista Breaks Silence on 75-Pound Weight Loss Following Concern From Fans
Dave Bautista is opening up about the recent weight loss that left fans a bit concerned for the former pro wrestler.
After the Guardians of the Galaxy actor looked nearly unrecognizable in red carpet photos from earlier this month, fans were shocked—and a little worried—to see how much he had slimmed down.
But this week, Bautista directly addressed his recent weight loss, revealing that he has shed about 75 pounds.
Speaking in an interview with Chris Van Vliet published on YouTube on Tuesday, Sept. 10, the retired WWE superstar said he went from around 315 pounds to about 240, after getting "uncomfortably big" for a movie role.
"I put the weight on really fast," he recalled of the 2023 film Knock at the Cabin. "I packed it on with French fries and pancakes."
"Looking back at it, I probably overdid it. I was probably a little too big," he candidly stated. "I put on an uncomfortable amount of weight and it took me forever to shed it off."
But now, the My Spy actor is weighing in at around 240, after he realized, "the more I trimmed down, the better I felt." He also said his weight loss has helped him look better on camera, especially when standing next to other, smaller actors.
However, when it comes to the concern from his fanbase, Bautista wanted people to know he is "not starving or anything," and is very much still a "large human being."
"I'll probably lose a few more pounds," he said while admitting he's been working quite hard to keep the weight off.
"I mean, I am training hard," he said, noting that he has been restricting his calories and practicing intermittent fasting.
And it appears that his fans have nothing to worry about!

Lil Wayne Speaks Out, Says Super Bowl Halftime Snub ‘Broke Him’: ‘It Hurt A Whole Lot’
A somber Lil Wayne took to social media early Friday morning to share that he is “broken” over not having the opportunity to perform the Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans.
The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., admitted that he believed in his heart that he would be performing and it “hurt a whole lot.”
I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a let down. And for just automatically mentally putting myself in that position like somebody told me that my position. So I blame myself for that.
But, I thought that was nothing better than that spot on that stage and that platform in my city. So, it hurt. It hurt a whole lot.
Wayne added, “It broke me and I’m just trying to put myself back together.”
He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who stood 10 toes down on his behalf those who lifted him up when he felt like he “wasn’t s**t.”

Fearless Fund launches new initiative after ending grant program: “This is definitely a win for us”
Fearless Fund co-founder Arian Simone says the Atlanta-based venture capital firm has not been deterred from helping marginalized business owners after ending its legal battle with conservative organization American Alliance for Equal Rights (AAER).
The group, founded by Edward Blum, filed a lawsuit in August 2023, arguing that the grant program, designed to specifically help Black women-owned ventures, violated Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866.
Fearless Fund was founded with the mission of giving Black, Asian, and Latina entrepreneurs access to capital that they are systemically shut out of. Women of color business owners are largely underrepresented, making up less than one percent of the recipients of venture capital funding.
The fund secured an early victory with an October 2023 injunction allowing them to disburse a final $20,000 grant. AAER appealed the ruling, and in June, a panel of judges ruled to suspend the program, noting that if the case progressed to the Supreme Court, Fearless Fund would likely lose.
On Wednesday (Sept. 11), the firm, which was an early investor in the uber successful Slutty Vegan franchise, agreed to end its Strivers program as part of a settlement reached with the conservative group. On Friday (Sept. 13), Simone appeared on “CBS Mornings,” where she expressed that the firm had not suffered a defeating blow in the legal battle.
“This is definitely a win for us. It was actually my idea,” the businesswoman said. “In the big scheme of things, we deploy millions of dollars. The one grant program that was in this case had already been at its conclusion when we got sued. There was only one $20,000 grant left to award. All the money from that program had already been deployed,” she added.
Simone further noted, “If we have to forgo that one grant to stay in business, to deploy millions, that is definitely a win.” Since its inception in 2019, Fearless Fund has poured more than $26 million into ventures looking to scale. Some of their corporate partners have included Bank of America and JPMoran Chase & Co.
The VC firm continued to make investments and deploy grants to deserving businesswomen amid legal proceedings, most recently at their Fearless Moguls event during Labor Day weekend.
As for the decision to not pursue a ruling from the nation’s highest court, Simone said, “I think the writing is already on the wall with their current rulings, [if] a Supreme Court ruling that were to take place not in our favor, this would’ve [not only] shut us down out of business but every single minority-based funding program for women as a whole sex, and people of color as a whole. The consequence of that is too big.”
The philanthropist told the hosts that it was “unfortunate that anybody would view this as something wrong or illegal. Clearly, the U.S. Federal District [Court] thought it was just fine, which is why they granted us the right to continue for that one grant left.”
Simone also reiterated that the fund is unwavering in its mission to provide capital to its targeted entrepreneurs, announcing that Fearless Fund launched a new program. “Now we have a debt loan program. Any entrepreneur that is pretty much in business for a year, [have] $50,000 [in annual revenue], [are] under resourced, of course, and has a credit score of 600 can apply for the program — this is for men and women.”
The loans range in value from $5,000 to $250,000 with flexible terms from 1-5 years and interest rates that start as low as 8.49 percent. For more information and to apply, click here. As for the future, Arian said that lawmakers are an integral part of making long-lasting changes.
“Attorneys and judges are only doing one thing: They are ruling and judging according to how they interpret the law,” she explained. “We need the lawmakers and the legislators to put laws in place that protect the right to fund marginalized communities, so everyone can achieve the American dream.”

Macy Gray’s health scare: The risks of Ozempic and weight loss drugs
The music world was shaken Sept. 14 by the revelation that Macy Gray suffered a health scare in August, which was linked to the side effects of the popular weight loss drug, Ozempic. The singer, known for her soulful voice and hits like “I Try,” experienced a serious incident Aug. 2, while filming an episode of “The Surreal Life.” This event has sparked conversations about the risks associated with weight loss medications, particularly among the African American community.
The incident
During the filming in Colombia, Gray suddenly lost her breath, prompting producers to rush her to the hospital. In a heartfelt confessional, she expressed her distress, stating, “This sucks because I’m here all the way in Colombia, and I really just want to give it my all, but I just feel awful, and I just want it to go away.” She further revealed that she struggled to walk without losing her breath, highlighting the severity of her condition.
Understanding Ozempic
Ozempic, a medication primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, has gained notoriety for its weight loss effects. However, it comes with a range of potential side effects, including digestive issues like constipation and fatigue. Gray’s experience was compounded by her fellow cast member, Chet Hanks, who noted that she hadn’t been eating properly. Another cast member, Ally Brooke, pointed out that these symptoms are common among users of the drug.
Common side effects
According to Dr. Florence Comite, founder of the Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Health, the side effects of Ozempic can include:
Constipation
Fatigue
Pancreatitis
These issues can lead to serious health complications, which is what Gray seemed to be experiencing. After her hospital visit, she candidly shared her reasons for starting Ozempic, admitting, “I’ve gained a lot of weight over the past couple of years, and this is right about the time when everybody starts talking about this Ozempic.” Her openness about her struggles with weight and self-image resonates with many, especially within the African American community where body image and health are often intertwined.
The weight-loss drug craze
The trend of using weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy has swept through Hollywood, with numerous celebrities openly discussing their experiences. Oprah Winfrey, a prominent figure in the conversation about weight loss and body positivity, has also shared her perspective on using weight loss medication. She described it as a “medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier,” emphasizing the importance of transparency and self-acceptance.
Breaking the stigma
Gray’s health scare serves as a critical reminder of the potential dangers associated with weight loss drugs. While the allure of quick weight loss can be tempting, it is essential to approach such medications with caution and awareness of their side effects. The stigma surrounding weight loss and body image can lead individuals to make hasty decisions about their health.
As conversations about body positivity and health continue to evolve, it is crucial for individuals, especially within the African American community, to prioritize their well-being over societal pressures. Gray’s experience highlights the need for open discussions about the risks of weight loss drugs and the importance of seeking medical advice before starting any new treatment.
Michael Che Reveals 1 of Colin Jost's 'SNL' Jokes Made Him 'Furious,' Says He Threatened to Quit
One of Colin Jost‘s jokes during Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live had Michael Che feeling some type of way.
The comedian costars have shared Weekend Update duties for years now, and they’ve told their share of jokes in the seats.
During a recent podcast appearance, they were asked if they ever disliked each other’s jokes. Michael revealed that one of Colin‘s quips made him so “furious” that he threatened to leave the set.
While on the Fly on the Wall podcast, Michael recalled one of Colin‘s jokes that turned the phrase “jalapeno business” into a pun that was meant to sound like “all up in your business.”
“I was pretty furious about that one,” he recalled, via EW.
He continued, saying, “I remember in run-through when you did it, because I never heard it before. I don’t remember what the setup was, but the punchline was ‘jalapeño business.’ And I was like, ‘If you tell that joke on air, I’m leaving. I’m quitting the show.’ And he did it on air and it destroyed. And I was so frustrated. I was so frustrated. I was like, ‘I don’t even know what we do anymore.’”
Colin said that he had considered removing the joke from the set. But he decided he was “definitely, definitely” keeping it in after he saw how his costar responded.
What was the joke? It’s from all the way back in May 2015 and went like this: “Ohio police arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend for eating all of their salsa. Though you’d be angry too if your boyfriend was jalapeño business.”
Colin‘s wife Scarlett Johansson recently addressed the duo’s now-iconic joke swaps at the end of every season. She said that she was “terrified” of them

Steve-O Cancels Breast Implant Surgery After Asking Transgender Person: ‘Maybe It’s Not All Fun and Games’
The former 'Jackass' star realized that not everything should be handled as a joke after his surgeons backed out of the procedure.
Steve-O has revealed he pulled the plug on a joke where he would get breast implants for a hidden camera sketch for his upcoming tour after meeting a transgender person right before surgery.
In an interview with Consequence, the Jackass alum explained what happened to the joke where he would trick random men on the street as a segment for his live tour, "The Super Dummy Tour." Steve-O was scheduled to get breast implants, but the anesthesiologist removed themselves from the operation after finding out why the reality star was having the surgery.
"I got within 10 hours of being in surgery for that," Steve-O said. "The surgery was supposed to happen at eight in the morning. And 10:00 PM the night before, I got a call that the anesthesiologist backed out of it, because he found out that it was me doing it as a stunt. And that kind of set off a chain reaction where the doctor didn't want to be associated with it anymore, and they were having trouble finding another surgery center to to make it happen."
Steve-O was trying to figure out a way to pull off the joke until he met a transgender person working at a grocery store. He asked the person their thoughts on the joke and the person reportedly told him it was distasteful and not a good idea.
"The part where I deliberately went out to trick people into thinking that I was a woman and then fooling them, and then kind of celebrating the idea of hate towards [trans people] -- that was a [bad] thing," said Steve-O before explaining what the person told him about their experiences being transgender.
"[The clerk] described how they weren't allowed to use the bathroom at their place of work, that there were like maybe 28 states in the country that would arrest them for having an ID that said female on it," Steve-O added. "That there were politicians making concerted efforts to lock them up in internment camps. It was really pretty heartbreaking, the level of oppression that was described."
He continued, "Framed like that, I thought about it in a way that I hadn't before, where you know, wow, maybe it's not all fun and games. Especially the pranks."

While visiting the Asian country with her 13-year-old twins Morocco and Monroe and her crew, the singer wore a long black dress, shades, and black platform heels to make the trek. While it's doubtful that Carey's visit lasted all 13,171 miles of the monument, the sight of her heels came as a shock to bystanders and fans. But the five-time Grammy Award winner confidently made the climb, tightly holding onto two men from the group, as seen in the video below.

Bomb Threats Target Medical Facilities in Springfield Amid Rising Tensions Over Migrant Rumors
On Saturday, Springfield, Ohio, faced a new wave of bomb threats targeting three medical facilities—Springfield Regional Medical Center, Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital, and Kettering Health Springfield—along with a fourth unspecified site.
Authorities have swept and cleared the locations, with some already reopening, according to police. The Springfield Police Division has increased staffing in response to these threats, which are linked to unverified claims about the Haitian migrant community. On Friday, two elementary schools were evacuated, and a middle school was closed due to an emailed threat. Officials released students to their parents, and it remains unclear if Friday’s threat came from the same source as Thursday’s.
On Thursday, bomb threats were emailed to various agencies and media outlets in Springfield. Explosive-detecting K-9s assisted police in clearing affected sites, including elementary schools, City Hall, and driver’s license bureaus. The county court facilities were also inspected as a precaution. The FBI is collaborating with local police to trace the threat’s origin.
Springfield Mayor Rob Rue expressed concern over the fear generated by these threats, attributing them to false online rumors about Haitian migrants allegedly abducting pets. These rumors have been amplified by political figures, including former President Donald Trump. A spokesperson for Springfield confirmed that there are no credible reports of harm or illegal activities involving immigrants.
The Haitian Bridge Alliance criticized these claims as inflammatory and harmful. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has pledged additional resources to Springfield. Mayor Rue urged national figures to consider the impact of their words on communities like Springfield, emphasizing that they are causing more harm than good.

At every stop, the energy will be electric! You’ll score free ice cream, fun giveaways, and the chance to make your voting plan before November 5. And don’t forget the “special guests,” including elected officials and activists, who’ll be making surprise appearances throughout the tour!
MoveOn’s executive director, Rahna Epting, couldn’t contain her enthusiasm either, saying, “Scoop the Vote Ice Cream Truck Tour will meet voters where they are and help mobilize our communities to defeat Trump once and for all this fall!” The race is razor-close, but joy and excitement are on our side!
Cohen and Greenfield are giving away limited-edition pints of “Kamala’s Coconut Jubilee,” a luscious blend of coconut ice cream, caramel ripple, and confetti stars, inspired by Harris’s now-iconic viral coconut tree meme! You can even enter the raffle online for a chance to win.
And there’s more! Other mouthwatering election-themed flavors will be up for grabs at the truck, like “Unburdened by What has Vanilla Bean,” “Inauguration Celebration Birthday Cake,” “Fight for Our Rights Sorbet,” and “MoveOn Mobilizer Milk Chocolate.”
Ben & Jerry’s has a history of whipping up politically inspired flavors, and this one’s no exception. From “Change is Brewing” in support of public-safety reform to Bernie Sanders-inspired ice cream for his presidential bids, this is one sweet way to celebrate democracy.
AND FINALLY FROM “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL!!!
