Kansas City Chiefs take Super Bowl win, first in 50 years!
The Kansas City Chiefs last won a Super Bowl in 1970 and the San Francisco 49ers last won in 1995.
The 49ers are also looking to join the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers as the only franchises with six Super Bowl titles.

The comeback Chiefs did it again and are Super Bowl champions.
Patrick Mahomes threw for a pair of touchdowns in the game’s final 6:13, helping the Kansas City Chiefs erase a 10-point deficit and beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl 54.
The go-ahead score: A 5-yard touchdown pass to Damien Williams with 2:44 left. Williams is a former Miami Dolphins running back and returned to his former field — Hard Rock Stadium — to enjoy the most significant night of his career.
Williams finished off the title march with a touchdown run with 1:12 left, a 38-yarder around the left end to seal the outcome.
It’s the first Super Bowl crown for Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who’ll no longer wear the distinction of being the winningest coach in NFL history without a championship.
The Chiefs had a comeback flair throughout the playoffs, getting down 24-0 to Houston in the divisional round and then rallying from deficits of 10-0 and 17-7 to beat Tennessee in the AFC championship game.
They did it one more time, on football’s biggest stage, and are Super Bowl champions for the second time. The Chiefs lost the first Super Bowl, then won Super Bowl 4 — some 50 years ago.
San Francisco was in the Super Bowl for the seventh time and fell just short of winning what would have been a record-tying sixth championship. Only New England and Pittsburgh have six titles, and the 49ers were about six minutes away from joining their club.

And then they collapsed, giving up three touchdowns in a span of about five minutes. Mahomes finished 26 of 42 passing for 286 yards, his last pass intentionally going incomplete on the final play — a heave downfield to erase the final 5 seconds of Kansas City's 50-year wait.

#RHOA: Kenya Moore Says She’s 'Optimistic' About Saving Her Marriage to Marc!
Kenya Moore has big plans for her 49th year."So, if I had a vision board, I would say, successful marriage, lots of love… [my daughter] Brooklyn, healthy, happy, thriving," the Real Housewives of Atlanta says in a recent interview. "I would say expanding businesses and fun."

It's that "successful marriage" hope that stands out from Kenya’s list, as she is currently separated from her husband of more than two years, Marc Daly. The pair announced they were going their separate ways in September, just days after appearing together on The Tamron Hall Show, looking like the picture of a happy family, alongside their daughter, Brooklyn. Now, Kenya reveals that the decision to take time apart was not her choice.
"We had a fight and, instead of giving that time to breathe and figure things out after that, you know, a decision was made," she confesses. "Independent of me."

Kenya did not share what exactly she and Marc fought about, so it's unclear just how big of a blowup it was. The news of their split came as a blow to Kenya's fans, who have watched the star chase love and happiness for as long as she's shared her life on reality TV. She finally had her fairy tale, only for it to take a not-so-happy turn.
"I really appreciate the people that are following my journey, and the viewers and the fans, they have all been rooting for me, and it broke my heart and it broke their heart when that announcement was made," she adds. "[Housewives] hadn't started [airing], they didn't know about the struggles we were having."

Kenya married Marc between season nine and 10 of RHOA, and kept him largely off-camera. Then, she walked away from the show for a season -- the year she gave birth to Brooklyn, a blessing that she says completely changed her marriage, for better or worse.
"Once the baby came, things just, you know -- the stress of life made our relationship deteriorate, and we couldn’t find our way back to it," she admits. "But all in all, I still think that a rash decision was made."

"Where I am right now, and how I have been coping with it is, just being the strong person that I know to be," she continues. "I sort of compartmentalize things in my life, and I don’t let anything destroy me. I have the most amazing daughter anyone can ask for. Every day is a joy to me. Yes, my marriage is falling apart, but look at this beautiful daughter that I have! Her smile, energy, love that she gives me? I cannot be happier."
Kenya and Marc's marital struggles will play out in the second half of The Real Housewives of Atlanta's current season, something Kenya says will be difficult to watch back. For now, she's focusing on where things stand with Marc today.
"We are still apart, but we are better friends now than we have been in a very long time," Kenya shares. "We're co-parenting great. We are going to be going to counseling soon. So, I'm optimistic."

Kenya and Marc currently live in different cities. Marc, a restauranteur, is in New York City, while Kenya resides in Atlanta. Before the separation, they split their time between the two cities. Should they reconcile, Kenya says they'll have to pick just one city to live in together as a family, and it won’t be New York.
"I would like to stay in this marriage because I still have love for my husband, but it has to change -- a lot of things will have to change," she flags. "Communication, number one. It has to always be respectful communication, even when you're upset, when you're hurt and when you're angry. Whatever the emotions you might be feeling at the time, you have to always keep in mind that you are a partnership, and you cannot take some things back. Once they're said or done, they cannot be taken back."

Kenya says communication has been the estranged couple’s "biggest issue" from the start; they’ve never been able to have a "healthy fight," something she wants to work on immediately.

"Ithink, being vulnerable, throwing away ego and pride is very important, because you can't really get to the bones of how someone really feels unless they're able to just put everything out on the table, and be really raw and vulnerable," she notes. "And I think the last part of it is just loving, knowing that you both are in this partnership and you both want to make it work and have a beautiful family. I mean, we have that and I would hate to lose it."
Kenya realizes that having a child has "softened" her, helping her to reprioritize her life, which includes fighting for her marriage.

"[Being a mom] makes you look at you differently, and I just have a different appreciation for life and all things that I’m living for," she shares. "That is my legacy, how I raise this child, how we raise Brooklyn."
Part of that legacy could be more children. The Kenya Moore Hair Care creator confesses that more babies are also on her vision board.
"I see Brooklyn, and she is the life of the party," she gushes. "We are on the plane and she is walking down the aisle, 'Hi, hi , hi...' Like, it's all about her, she's just hosting everyone on the plane. So that's interesting to see her be so outgoing and special, and she loves people and she loves other little kids, and I would like to see her with a playmate growing up. I think she will be a great big sister to someone and... I don’t know, fingers crossed."

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns with new episodes next Sunday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

#Empire: Fox Releases Premiere Date for Empire's Final Season 6 Episodes!
It's almost the end of the road for Empire. On Thursday, Fox revealed that the premiere date for the final 10 episodes of the groundbreaking hip hop drama will be Tuesday, March at 9/8c. Along with that announcement, the network also unveiled a sneak peek of what's to come in the remaining half of this final stretch.

If we're going by the preview, which features an unknown person aiming a gun at Lucious (Terrence Howard) as he's protecting Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), the Lyons are in for one hell of a last act.
There are still plenty of questions that need to be answered as Empire wraps up the Lyon family's tumultuous story, like whether or not Cookie and Lucious are really poised to die. Their deaths were teased at the beginning of the season through cryptic flash-forwards in which Lucious is shot and Cookie's car explodes. We still don't know who might behind their potential demise, or if they're even dead dead, but it looks like these final episodes will start to pull the curtain back on this overarching mystery.

Many were also wondering whether or not Jussie Smollett's Jamal Lyon will return before Empire bows after Jamal was written out of Season 6 amid the actor's legal woes. Fox entertainment chief Michael Thorn confirmed at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour that Smollett would not return for the series finale, telling Deadline, "He is not coming back." Thorn did add that the finale would likely mention Jamal in some form.

See how it all turns out for the Lyon family when Empire returns Tuesday, March 3 at 9/8c on Fox

Mase Calls Out Diddy For ‘Enslaving’ Him With ‘Horrendous’ Contracts!
Just days after Sean “Diddy” Combs slammed the Grammys for disrespecting black music, Mase took to Instagram to put his former label boss on blast for his “horrendous” business practices. In a lengthy Instagram post, Mase called out Puff for “robbing and tarnishing” him by taking his publishing in return for “peanuts” and not selling it back to him.
Mase posted a photo of Meek Mill who called out “different race men” for signing young black artists to “slave contracts” before taking Diddy to task for being a hypocrite and “enslaving” his own artists with unfair deals.

“@diddy I heard your #Grammy speech about how u are now for the artist and about how the artist must take back control. So I will be the first to take that initiative,” he began. “Also, before we ask of other ethnicities to do us right we should do us as black people better. Especially the creators.”
He claims that Diddy still owns his publishing from 24 years ago, for which he paid him $20,000. “I heard u loud and clear when u said that u are now for the artist and to that my response is if u want to see change you can make a change today by starting with yourself. Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Badboy label. For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t after u know someone is robbing you & tarnishing your name when u don’t want to comply w/ his horrendous business model.”
Despite his grievances, he said he was “forced” to perform with Diddy throughout the years. “However, people would always ask what’s up w/ Mase? So I would be forced to still perform to not look crazy when I was getting peanuts and the robbery would continue. So many great moments and people lives in music were lost. But again, I rode with u in the face of death without flinching & u still wouldn’t do right. I never said anything because I wanted to wait until I was financially great so I can ensured that I was addressing this from a pure place and not out of spite.”

Mase says he offered Diddy $2 million to buy back his publishing, but Diddy refused unless he was willing to match a higher offer. “To add insult, u keep screaming black excellence and love but I know love isn’t free. So I offered u 2m in cash just a few days ago to sell me back my publishing(as his biggest artist alive) that always show u respect for u giving me an opportunity at 19 yrs old. Your response was if I can match what the EUROPEAN GUY OFFER him that would be the only way I can get it back. Or else I can wait until I’m 50 years old and it will revert back to me from when I was 19 years old. You bought it for about 20k & I offered you 2m in cash.”

He added, “This is not black excellence at all. When our own race is enslaving us. If it’s about us owning, it can’t be about us owning each other. No More Hiding Behind ‘Love’. U CHANGED? GIVE THE ARTIST BACK THEIR $$$. So they can take care of their families.”

The post comes just days after Mase, along with Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, and Lil’ Kim, performed as part of a tribute to Diddy at The Recording Academy and Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills last weekend. Diddy thanked Mase, along with the rest of the Bad Boy roster, during his acceptance speech. He also put the Grammys on blast for not respecting hip-hop and black music. “Truth be told, hip-hop has never been respected by the Grammys. Black music has never been respected by the Grammys to the point that it should,” he said.

Mase is not the first Bad Boy signee to speak out against Diddy’s business practices. Aubrey O’Day also claimed that Danity Kane was never fairly compensated. “It wasn’t even money because we never make any,” she told MTV News in 2015. “We have two platinum albums [and] grossed over a million dollars on Christina Aguilera’s Back To Basics Tour…We came off that tour $15,000 in debt and grossed millions.”

Niece of The Late Legendary Queen Of Soul, Aretha Franklin, Steps Down As Representative For Singer’s Estate!
Sabrina Owens, the niece of Aretha Franklin, has decided to step down from her position as representative of Franklin’s estate.

Franklin passed in 2018 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. In 2019, the singer’s family discovered three different handwritten wills, which has since divided the family.
In a letter filed in a court in the Metro Detroit area Thursday, Owens said, “My primary goal was to honor my aunt by handling her business professionally, fairly, and within the law. In spite of my best efforts, my role with the estate has become more contentious with the heirs.  Given my aunt’s love of family and desire for privacy, this is not what she would have wanted for us, nor is it what I want.”

The family originally thought Franklin died without a will until they came across the docs in her home nine months later, with one being found under a couch cushion in the living room.
According to one of the wills, Franklin wanted her son Kecalf Franklin to serve as an executor or representative for her estate, ABC News reports.
But, Owens explained that from the moment Franklin became ill in 2010, to her passing in 2018, she was by her side, and as a result, Franklin personally requested that her to handle all “personal and business matters.”

Beginning in February 2018, Owens started to, “quietly started drafting the blueprint for her homegoing service, based on what I believed my aunt would have wanted.”
Franklin went on to pass six short months later on Aug. 16, aged 76.
Owens hard work for the “Queen of Soul” paid off as, “The result was a weeklong celebration of her life, in services and events in August 2018,” Owens recollected.
Afterwards, Owens said Franklin’s four boys requested that she take the position as representative of the estate.
“She trusted me and was always confident I would exercise good judgment and try to make the best decisions on her behalf,” Owens remembered. “She often said that I was ‘worth my weight in gold.’”

Owens recounted agreeing to take on the role under the following circumstances: “no fractured relationship develop within the family” and “we did not end up in court disputes over disagreements with the estate,” however, according to Owens, both guidelines have been severed.
“I hope that my departure will allow the business of the estate to continue, calm the rift in my family and allow me to return to my personal life,” Owens wrote. “I love my cousins, hold no animosity towards them, and wish them the best.”

According to ABC News, the estate reported $17 million worth of assets at the end of August, with $10.5 million being accounted for as “master recordings” and “publishing rights.”
A mediator has reportedly been working privately with the family.

A court hearing that was scheduled prior to Owens leaving her position is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.

DeAndre Arnold, Texas Teen Told To Cut Dreadlocks Or Miss Graduation, Gets Invite To Oscars From ‘Hair Love’ Team!
Texas teenager DeAndre Arnold, who has received a wide range of support after he was told he couldn’t walk at graduation unless he cut his dreadlocks, is now heading to the Oscars as a special guest of the team behind the animated short film “Hair Love.”

Director Matthew A. Cherry and producers Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union surprised Arnold with the invite through video messages from each of them.
“Hair Love” follows a black father who is styling his young daughter’s hair for the first time. It’s nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.
“We’ve all been so inspired by your story and this is the very least we can do to thank you for standing up for yourself and for your right to wear your natural hair at school,” Cherry told Arnold in a video.
Arnold, a senior at Barbers Hill High School in Mont Belvieu (about 32 miles east of Houston), has grabbed national headlines for his refusal to shorten his dreadlocks due to the district’s dress code policy. He has been told by district officials that he would not be able to walk at graduation unless he complied with the policy.

The district’s policy allows dreadlocks and long hair for male students, but it cannot go below the eyebrows or ear lobes and has to be above the top of a t-shirt collar. Arnold’s dreadlocks go below his shoulder.
Supporters of Arnold claim the policy is discriminatory and that it shouldn’t dictate whether or not he should be able to walk at graduation.
District officials continue to stand by their policy, and Arnold remains away from the school.
Arnold’s story has reached many throughout the nation, including celebrities like Alicia Keys and professional athletes like Houston Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Earlier this week, the 18-year-old appeared on “The Ellen Show,” where Keys and Ellen DeGeneres surprised him with a $20,000 scholarship.
Now, Arnold is heading to the Oscars with his mother, Sandy.

“We love the way that you carry yourself and we wanted to do something special for you,” Wade said in his message.
Arnold said he’s appreciative of all the support he’s received and for the invitation.
“It’s hard to take in,” Arnold told CBS This Morning. “I’ve got excitement and then it’s just like, ‘Is this really happening? Am I in a dream?’ … it blows my mind that people that have so much voice, they’re on my side and they’re with me. I love that. I appreciate that. I really do.”

Cherry said a “full wardrobe and glam” will be provided for Arnold and his mother for a night at the Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Terry Crews Apologizes to Gabrielle Union for 'Invalidating' Her Allegations Against AGT!
Terry Crews has apologized to Gabrielle Union. Taking to Twitter Friday, the America’s Got Talent host sent out a series of tweets directed to Union after he seemingly invalidated racism and sexism accusations she made against AGT.
“I told @KevinHart4real a while ago, he needed 2 ‘acknowledge the pain of other people,’” he started. “Right now I have to do the same thing. I want to apologize for the comments I made. I realize there are a lot of Black women hurt and let down by what I said and also by what I didn’t say.”
I told @KevinHart4real a while ago, he needed 2 “acknowledge the pain of other people.” Right now I have to do the same thing. I want to apologize for the comments I made. I realize there are a lot of Black women hurt and let down by what I said and also by what I didn’t say.
“I hear you, I respect you and understand you,” the 51-year-old actor added. “I am sorry and I am here to support you. I spoke from my own personal point of view without first taking into consideration someone else’s experience.”

Crews then said that “disrespectful comments” directed at him and his family led him to “react angrily instead of responding thoughtfully.”
I hear you, I respect you and understand you. I am sorry and I am here to support you.  I spoke from my own personal point of view without first taking into consideration someone else’s experience.
“This certainly caused more harm, and it is my hope that I can amend any pain I have caused to those who were hurt by my words,” he wrote.

Crews referred to a set of tweets he sent on Jan. 27 seemingly directed at Union, 47. He wrote: “I’m a hog. You’re a chicken. Just ‘cuz you gave me eggs — don’t mean I owe you bacon.”
“There is only one woman one [sic] earth I have to please,” he wrote in a second tweet. “Her name is Rebecca. Not my mother, my sister, my daughters or co-workers. I will let their husbands/ boyfriends/ partners take care of them. Rebecca gives me WINGS.”
Crews’ reps referred PEOPLE to Friday’s tweets in response to Crews’ comments on Jan. 27.

In Friday’s Twitter thread, Crews then directly mentions Union, writing, “I want you to know it was never my intention to invalidate your experience— but that is what I did. I apologize. You have been through a lot in this business, and with that I empathize with the struggle toward fairness and equality in the workplace.”
“You are a role model to the entire black community and In my desire to be professionally neutral as your co-worker, I should have at the very least understood you just needed my support,” he ended the note, signing his name.

The series of tweets comes days after the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor received backlash for comments he made on 3rd Hour of Today, stating he never experienced the racial insensitivity and toxic culture that Union claimed existed on set.
“First of all, I can’t speak for sexism because I’m not a woman, but I can speak on behalf of any racism comments,” he said on the show. “That was never my experience … in fact, it was the most diverse place I have ever been in my 20 years of entertainment.”

A Variety report claimed that while she was on the show, Union had expressed concerns over a joke made by guest judge Jay Leno that was later edited out. The report added that Union and fellow former AGT judge Julianne Hough said they received “excessive notes” on their physical appearance, according to various Variety sources.
The Crews-Union drama escalated after Union clapped back at Crews’ claim that only one unnamed source had brought up allegations against AGT. There were several sources in Variety’s reporting.

“Truth telling, wanting change & having MULTIPLE witnesses who bravely came forward to let EVERYONE know I didn’t lie or exaggerate, really exposes those who enthusiastically will throw you under the bus, forgetting quickly who stepped up 4 THEIR truth,” she wrote on Jan. 24.

The tweet alludes to Union’s support for Crews after he alleged that a “high-level Hollywood” executive had groped him at a party.

Taylor Swift responds to Nikki Glaser’s apology for calling singer ‘too skinny’!
Taylor Swift has accepted the apology stand-up comic Nikki Glaser offered Friday after the funny lady was featured in her new Netflix documentary “Miss Americana” body shaming the pop superstar.

“Wow. I appreciate this so much,” Swift said in regards to Glaser’s lengthy Instagram apology. “One of the major themes of the doc is that we have the ability to change our opinions over time, to grow, to learn about ourselves. I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve struggled with some of the same things I’ve struggled with. Sending a massive hug.”

Within her note to Swift, Glaser admitted to “projecting” her insecurities onto the songwriter when she quipped that Swift was “too skinny” and only hangs out with models.
“This quote should be used as an example of ‘projection’ in PSYCH101 textbooks,” she confessed. “If you’re familiar with my ‘work’ at all, you know I talk openly about battling some kind of eating disorder for the past 17 years. I was probably ‘feeling fat’ that day and was jealous. Also, I’ve had people say the same s–t about me being too skinny before and know how terrible it feels to hear that when you’re struggling.”

Offset Gets Into A Fight After Cardi B Is Splashed With Drink At A Club!
Offset was not here for Cardi B getting splashed with Champagne while at a Miami Strip club early Friday morning (January 31).
In footage obtained by TMZ, the Migos rapper is shown going berserk after his wife was showered with bubbly. Eyewitnesses told the outlet, Offset and Cardi were standing on stage when the champagne started flying. Cardi reportedly got wet and wasn't thrilled about it, but Offset was "enraged and immediately began looking for the guy."
As shown in the video, when Offset finds the champagne thrower, he throws a punch! (And not the drinking kind). People at the club told TMZ, the punch landed, and Offset continued to fight the guy until he was pulled off by security. He and Cardi reportedly took off immediately after that.

Check out the video below or click HERE.

Offset's strip club brawl comes just one day after he was detained in Los Angeles following a case of mistaken identity. The "Wild Wild West" rapper was taken into police custody on Wednesday (January 29) after a report of a person with a gun at an L.A. shopping center. He was released from jail a few hours later and cops told TMZ they had the wrong guy. Two men in Offset's entourage, however, were booked on firearms charges.

Pose Actor Billy Porter Wearing A Dress On Sesame Street is Getting HEAT from Some Viewers!
“Sesame Street” has taken major steps during its 50+ seasons on the air. But its latest has caused quite a mixed review from viewers and fans.
In preparation for its 51st season, the Instagram page for the series shared a snapshot of “Pose’s” Billy Porter rocking a lavish black gown. They added the caption,
“@theebillyporter bringing those fierce vibes to Sesame Street for #Season51 #sesamestreet #billyporter #thebillyporter #tonyawards #broadway #grammys #goldenglobes #cookiemonster #oscarthegrouch #elmo“
Still, the post (shared on our Instagram account) was met with some criticism from those who said they felt the young audience shouldn’t be exposed to the controversial content.

The episode was taped Thursday (Jan. 30). Billy Porter hasn’t responded to the criticism, but he expressed his excitement over his appearance on Twitter and wrote,
“Y’all, talk about iconic… I was tickled to meet @elmo and the gang at @sesamestreet!”

What do you think about Sesame Street’s post?
