Elton John and Lana Del Rey for Rolling Stone - November 2019!
Elton John and Lana Del Rey have discussed the highs and lows of their illustrious careers in a special edition of Rolling Stone magazine.
The two stars sat down together for the “Musicians on Musicians” issue, which sees music stars interviewing each other about significant milestones in their career.
For Elton, it meant a chance to ask Lana about her doomed 2012 performance on Saturday Night Live – which saw her branded “the worst guest of all time”.

“You came through that awful thing in that Saturday Night Live [in 2012]. Which was so distressing for someone like me to see someone so crucified. I’ve watched it, and it wasn’t that bad,” Elton said.
Thanking him for the support, Lana agreed: “It wasn’t terrible!”

“It wasn’t terrible at all”, Elton responded. “I don’t know what the agenda was there, but where was the #MeToo movement there? […] That’s the first time I ever talked to you. I rang you up and said, ‘Listen, I just want to offer my help. I know you’re sober and everything, but just don’t take any notice of these people.’
“Most people, that would have flattened them forever. It was an outrageous assault.”
Elton, meanwhile, was full of praise for Billie Eilish and Kacey Musgraves: “I mean, the girls are leading the way. They’re writing about their life. That’s what moves me. There are very few male singers that move me.”
He added: “Sam Fender is my top pick for the guys.” Things also took an emotional turn as Elton discussed his plans to retire in order to spend more time with his family.
“I’ve been travelling since I was 16. My life has been so unstructured,” he said. “If we hadn’t had children, David and I would have been two very wealthy gay guys going around the world, but to what purpose? The purpose now is to make sure that our boys have the best education, the best chance of doing things, and, most of all, they’re filled with love.
“And that they have fun. Because, boy oh boy, do they give us a lot of fun.”
This interview comes after Elton risked reigniting his feud with Madonna after branding her “ungracious and nasty” for criticising Lady Gaga in the past.

The criticism featured in his new memoir Me, which also sees him recalling the time he hijacked a Rolling Stones show while high on cocaine and the moment when he mistook Bob Dylan for his gardener – describing him as “scruffy”.

#RHOA: Kenya Moore Means Business on Her New Magazine Cover!
In April, Kenya Moore graced the cover of Sheen Magazine along with baby girl Brooklyn Daly. Fast forward a few months later, and Kenya is back with yet another fabulous cover shot.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom scored the latest cover of Upscale Magazine, and she nailed the perfect photo. Donning a custom white blazer dress by Linda Stokes, Kenya looks like a total boss babe in her cover shot with her long, black strands flowing in the wind. And can we get into her power pose for a second? With her hands on her hips, her head held high, and an enchanting smize, Kenya channeled her inner supermodel to the fullest extent.
"So excited for my latest cover! Thank you @upscalemagazine for this beautiful cover and honest story," Kenya wrote on Instagram.

She added, "It’s not easy to remain strong through difficult times but here I am “still standing."

#Empire: Lamar Odom Says He Left Taraji P. Henson for Khloe Kardashian: I Was 'an Immature Punk'!
Lamar Odom is opening up about the end of his relationship with Taraji P. Henson. In a preview of the NBA star's appearance on the TV One docuseries, Uncensored, he talks about dating the 49-year-old Empire star in 2009. In Odom's book, Darkness to Light: A Memoir, he wrote that the two dated in private and that they once had a double date with Henson's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button co-star, Brad Pitt, and Pitt's then-wife, Angelina Jolie.
"I wish I would have done things different with her," Odom, 39, says of Henson in the new clip. "She was a little older than me, but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship as a grown-up that I had with a Black woman."

Odom goes on to describe just how infatuated with Henson he was. "I used to carry her picture on the road with me," he recalls. "Don’t nobody know that, except for the dudes that played with me, but, she gave me inspiration. A Black woman working like that, that’s just as good with her craft as I am in my craft.”
However, he says their relationship ended when he fell for Khloe Kardashian. Odom and Kardashian married in September 2009 after a 1-month, whirlwind romance, and their divorce was finalized in December 2016.
"Things ended with Taraji because of me being an immature punk, I didn't know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian," Odom says.

Uncensored airs Sunday, Oct. 27 at 9/8c on TV One. Meanwhile, in a preview of Sunday's new Keeping Up With the Kardashians, things get tense between Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner, over Odom's tell-all.
"Lamar is writing a book," Kardashian says in the clip. "In the book, I found out that Mom's lying to me."
Though the nature of the allegations isn't discussed, Jenner does tell cameras that she's doing "damage control." However, Kardashian shows no signs of backing down while having a conversation with Scott Disick about the drama.
"She literally thinks you're gonna, like, come for her," Disick says, to which Kardashian replies, "Guess what? I am."

ET spoke with Odom about his tell-all in May, and he said he would always love Kardashian in a heartfelt message to her.
"I love you and thank you for being there for me when I couldn't walk or talk," he said, referring to her support in October 2015 after he was hospitalized for a near-fatal drug overdose. "You know, when you marry someone after knowing them 30 days, I don't think that love will go away. You know what I'm saying? A piece of paper that says we're not together no more, that love will never go away."

ET recently spoke with Odom after he was eliminated from this season's Dancing With the Stars, and he described his relationship with his ex-wife today.

#NewMusic from JoJo ‘Sabotage’ Ft. Chika!
After pulling on our emotions with her thought-provoking single, “Joanna,” R&B songstress JoJo switches gear with the soul, hip-hop infused new track “Sabotage,” featuring a guest verse by fellow Warner Records artist Chika.

On the track, JoJo reminds us that we’re all human and sometimes we ‘Sabotage’ ourselves by letting our emotions get the best of us.

“A lot of people self-sabotage… I tend to do it in romantic relationships. And I think most of it roots to fear – fear of being inadequate, fear of getting hurt, fear of rejection, fear of not measuring up…,” states JoJo. “This song is about asking a lot of questions, dealing with shame and embarrassment, and really just owning up to certain patterns.”
“Sabotage” continues JoJo’s movement of sharing new music since signing with Warner Records earlier this year through a joint venture with her own Clover Music. Her new album is expected in 2020.

LISTEN HERE

Together with producers Doc McKinney [The Weeknd, Santigold] and Lido [Halsey, Chance The Rapper], JoJo has honed together an upcoming body of work centered around her new-found confidence – both musically and emotionally. There’s a lightness, a joy, a sense of satisfaction: JoJo doesn’t want to avoid the past, but it’s time to open the next chapter.

#HipHopNews: Dave East And Nas Team Up On ‘Godfather 4’!
As he gears up to release his debut album Survival next month, Dave East drops “Godfather 4,” a collaboration with Nas.
The introspective track finds the Harlem rapper and his mentor flowing over a soulful instrumental, produced by DJ Green Lantern, with contributions from New Orleans brass band the Soul Rebels and jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold.

God’s Son pays homage to MCs who rhyme “intelligent” over “orchestral tracks” before singling out Dave as a worthy successor. “No offense, but I was over with finding young spitters with names I remember Dave,” he raps as his protΓ©gΓ©’s name echoes on the track.
East takes the baton from there. “Yo big bro, I’m from the ice pick era, light-skin terror / Thought I could sell this dope till my life get better,” he raps.

“Godfather 4” follows the Jacquees-assisted “Alone” from East’s upcoming debut Survival, which arrives on Nov. 8.

Following the album’s release, he will kick off his “Survival Tour” on Nov. 22 in Atlanta before traveling overseas to the U.K., Europe, and Dubai.

John Conyers, longest-serving black member of Congress in history, Dies at 90!
John Conyers Jr., a Korean War veteran who was the longest serving African American member of Congress in U.S. history, died Sunday at age 90, Detroit police have confirmed.
Arnold Reed, a lawyer for Mr. Conyers, was shaken by the news.

“Well, the only thing I can do is confirm his passing," Reed said Sunday. "It has gotten us all out of sorts here. And I really have to just sit down, for a moment.”
During his 53 years in the U.S. House, Mr. Conyers built a reputation as a champion for civil and human rights.
The Detroit Democrat was a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus in 1969, which promotes the legislative concerns of black and minority communities.
His legacy was clouded by allegations that he sexually harassed or mistreated several female staffers — complaints that prompted his resignation in December 2017.

Mr. Conyers denied the claims of misconduct and said at the time of his resignation he hoped his departure would be viewed "in the larger perspective of my record of service."
Mr. Conyers was the third-longest-serving House member in U.S. history and the first African American to hold the title of dean, or member with the longest continuous service — a mantle he took on in 2015 after the retirement of Michigan's John Dingell Jr.
"He's touched so many lives across the country around the world when you talk about human rights and civil rights," said Jonathan Kinloch, Democratic Party chairman of the 13th Congressional District, who was in middle school when he first started following Mr. Conyers' career.

"He was a giant then, he's a giant now, and he will remain a giant into history."
Former U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Detroit, also hailed his fight for civil rights and liberties.
"John Conyers fought with vigor and empathy for people who were left out and left behind," Levin said Sunday on Twitter. "My deepest sympathy to the Conyers family who are so much a part of the fabric of Detroit."
First elected in 1964, Mr. Conyers introduced the first bill to create a federal holiday honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — an effort that languished for years until President Ronald Reagan signed it into law in 1983. Mr. Conyers first offered the bill four days after King was assassinated in Memphis in 1968.

"His impact on our state, whether by spearheading reforms in criminal justice and voting rights in Congress or through his lifetime of civil rights activism, will not be forgotten," Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said in a Sunday statement.
For years, Mr. Conyers held a powerful position as the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, to which he was appointed as a freshman lawmaker in 1965.
He sat on the panel in 1974 when it investigated President Richard Nixon and later voted to submit articles of impeachment to the full House (he supported all three articles).

Mr. Conyers went on to chair the Judiciary Committee from 2007-11 and was chairman or ranking Democrat on the powerful House Oversight Committee from 1989 to 2004.
A lawyer by training, Mr. Conyers was considered one of the more liberal members of Congress.
He pushed for a single-payer or government-dominated health care system and long urged a study of reparations for slavery.

His bill, which he introduced in every Congress starting in 1989, would have set up a commission to examine the institution of slavery in the nation and its colonies, and recommend appropriate remedies.
“I’m not giving up," he said in 2017. "Slavery is a blemish on this nation’s history, and until it is formally addressed, our country’s story will remain marked by this blight."

Reparations received renewed interest among 2020 Democratic presidential candidates, several of whom pledged to sign the bill if they were elected president.
Mr. Conyers also fought to rein in the federal government's surveillance powers, sought to end racial profiling and to reform mandatory minimum prison sentences to reduce high rates of incarceration for blacks and the poor.
During his legislative career, Mr. Conyers helped spearhead landmark reforms including extensions of the Voting Rights Act, as well as passage of the Violence Against Women Act of 1994 and the Hate Crimes Act of 2009.

Mr. Conyers' successes included pushing for the the Jazz Preservation Act of 1987, the Motor Voter Bill of 1993, and the Help America Vote Act of 2002.

#BoxOfficeNews: 'Joker' Narrowly Holds Off 'Maleficent' For the number one Top Spot!
It's a narrow race at the top of the box office, but based on estimates WB's Joker was able to return to the weekend #1 spot after a brief respite last weekend as Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil falls to second in its sophomore frame Meanwhile it was an equally tight race for third as well as fifth with the new releases of Countdown and Black and Blue competing for that last spot in the top five.

Returning to the top of the weekend box office is WB's Joker, which dipped just -35% as it entered its fourth week in release with an estimated $18.9 million three-day. The film's domestic cume now tops $277.5 million, which is enough to make it the seventh largest R-rated release domestically of all-time. Internationally the film added another $47.8 million this weekend, pushing the film's overseas total to $571.5 million for a global tally totaling nearly $850 million. This makes it the fifth largest DC Comics adaptation globally of all-time, topping Wonder Woman ($821.8m) and just behind Batman v Superman ($873.6m).

Internationally, the film played in 19 markets this weekend and brought in an estimated $10.5 million for an overseas total that currently stands at $11.2 million for a worldwide cume totaling $84 million.

Internationally, the film brought in $9 million this weekend as it is now playing in 40 markets for an overseas cume now totaling $16.6 million and a global cume that stands at $63.6 million.

Rounding out the top five is STXfilms's horror thriller Countdown with an estimated $9 million debut. The performance for the $6.5 million production is on par with expectations while earning a "C+" from opening day audiences. The opening weekend crowd was evenly split 50% male and female with 78% coming in under the age of 35. Internationally, the film debuted in 16 markets with an estimated $1.7 million, led by a $480k launch in the UK.

DJ Gets Shut Down For Playing Pusha-T At Drake’s Birthday Party!
Drake wasn’t about to let his Pusha-T beef ruin his birthday. The 6 God turned up while celebrating his 33rd birthday with a star-studded party in Hollywood on Wednesday. At one point during the mobster-themed festivities, the DJ unexplainably decided to play Pusha-T’s verse on “I Don’t Like,” a shocking choice given their long-running rivalry.

But his crew wasn’t having it. Just seconds after the song started blaring from the speakers, someone in Drake’s team shut it down. In the video clip, which made its way to social media, his right-hand man OVO Mark can be seen waving his hands at the DJ, who promptly cuts the track.
Despite the mishap, it was a celebratory night for Champagne Papi, who was joined by friends including Adele, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Future, A$AP Rocky, Kylie Jenner, and more.

Taking to Instagram, he reflected on the big day. “Today I woke up and looked at my phone and realized how much positive energy and how many unbreakable bonds I have in my life from incredible people,” he said. “All the messages and posts just reminded me that I am covered in a blanket of love and support and I should never second guess that. Thank you for a truly uplifting day. Love you all forever.”

Teresa & Joe Giudice Reveal If They're Going to Stay Together After His Release from ICE!
Teresa and Joe Giudice are together again for the first time since he was released from ICE custody. At least via video chat.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen – Teresa in studio in New York City and Joe via video from Italy – for their first interview since he went to prison back in March 2016.
Several months ago Joe was released from prison and went into ICE’s custody as he awaits the decision in his deportation case. He was released from ICE and was sent to Italy as he waits for the court’s final decision.

During their interview, Joe admitted that he doesn’t think Teresa remained faithful while he was away after there were reports that she was “hooking up” with a younger man.
Teresa maintained that she and the mystery man were just friends before questioning Joe‘s fidelity telling him, “You were photographed with women also.”

“That’s why it made it okay for you?” responded Joe sarcastically.
Later in the interview, Andy asked Teresa if she would move to Italy if Joe was officially deported.
“The kids don’t want to go there,” Teresa insisted. “It’s like, they’ve been through enough.”
Joe supported Teresa, adding, “I would not want anyone to move here with me. Come on, that’s crazy. My kids are grounded there. I’m not going to pick them up and move them here. I can go someplace close, and we can go back and forth to the United States a few times. We can make things work.”

In the end, the status of Teresa and Joe‘s marriage still remains unknown.
“If we stay together, we stay together, if we don’t, we don’t,” Joe said. “It’s a conversation, we’ll see. … As long as she’s happy, that’s all that really matters. I’m not going to tell her what to do. If she doesn’t feel like she wants to be with me anymore, then that’s the thing to do.”
Joe and Teresa then said that there is still love between them.

“Of course, she’s my wife. I’ve been with her a long time. No matter what happens, I’ll always love her,” Joe said.
“I do love him as a person,” Teresa said. “I’ll start crying. I do care about him, I love him.”
Teresa then said that she would have no choice but to divorce Joe if he has to stay in Italy.
“I want to wake up with someone every single day,” Teresa said, explaining that her girls understood it. “I think they get it. I don’t think they want to see it happen, obviously, but I think they understand. Because the way I explained it to them, how are we going to live apart? I don’t think he would be faithful. I think he would have someone there and have me here. I just don’t want to live that life.”

But for right now, the Giudices are not making any decisions about their marriage.
“I’m waiting until I get there to see if I feel differently,” Teresa said of her and her daughters’ visit to Italy in a few weeks.. “I just feel like when you live apart. … He says the same thing, when he sees me, he may not want this either. We’ll know when we see each other.”
Teresa and Joe have been married for 20 years and are parents to daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10.

The new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres on Wednesday, November 6th at 8pm ET on Bravo.

Prince slams Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran in new unearthed notes!
Prince hit out at the music industry for “trying to ram Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran down our throats” in a series of unearthed notes and letters from the late star.
The notes were found among photographs and handwritten lyrics inside the star’s Minnesota home following his death in 2016, aged 57.

According to The Guardian’s Weekend magazine, Prince’s estate has been examining the massive archive in an effort to generate income, and the publication has printed excerpts from the collection.
In one note, the star hit out at the state of the music industry, and wrote of the media conglomerates who control contemporary radio: “We need to tell them that they keep trying to ram Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran down our throats and we don’t like it no matter how many times they play it.”

The collection has been curated into a book, The Beautiful Ones, by Dan Piepenbring — a Prince devotee who the Purple Rain star had tapped to work on his memoir before his tragic passing.
The pair worked together for three months before Prince’s death and, speaking of finding the artifacts following his passing, Dan said: “The sheer quantity of paper was surprising… In one room you’d find something from 1979, and within arm’s reach there’d be something from 2002.
