Minaj teased the collection on her Instagram account earlier in the summer. And according to Fendi, it was a collaboration that made sense.
“Nicki was friends with Karl, she is a friend of Silvia [Venturini Fendi] and of the house,” Fendi’s chairman and chief executive officer Serge Brunschwig told WWD.

#Empire: What will Taraji P. Henson do after Empire?
With Empire in its final season, fans are sad to see the show go but interested in seeing what its breakout star will do next. Henson admits that she will miss her Empire family but is looking forward to what’s to come. Henson has starred in several films that were released this year, including Best of Enemies. Outside of acting, she has a lot to look forward to in her personal life.
Henson became engaged to former NFL star, Kelvin Hayden, in the spring of 2018. The two are currently planning a wedding for 2020 that Henson promises will be star-studded with close friends and family.
She told Entertainment Tonight that their wedding will be in wine country where the two fell in love. “We both went to the wine country and it was our first time together at the same time,” she said. “He had never been, I had never been, and I did feel him fall in love.”
Henson won’t have a bridal party, but celebrity friends like Mary J. Blige and Gabrielle Union are expected to be in attendance. At least Cookie Lyon fans have a real wedding to look forward to!
#NewMusic from Frank Ocean Releasing Single, “DHL”!
Award-winning R&B creative genius Frank Ocean broke his two-year music hiatus since Blonde with a new song titled “DHL.” Frank returned to the popular Beats 1 show for another episode of “Blonded RADIO,” and near the end of the broadcast, he debuted the new single.
As listeners and fans have come to expect, the new song sees Ocean following through with his usual sound, dabbling in multi-layered production from himself as well as some assistance from Boys Noize
The new song follows the tease of other new songs, “Cayendo” and “Dear April,” from the singer earlier that day. Remixes of both songs premiered at Ocean’s new queer night club PrEP+ in New York City earlier this week. During “blonded 008,” Frank also played a snippet of Sango’s flip of the song “Nights” from Blonde.

All three tracks are reportedly apart of Frank’s third studio album, which is rumored to be entitled ‘FO3*.’ The cover art for “DHL” has been rumored to hint at the upcoming arrival of 13 new Ocean songs, although Ocean himself didn’t detail his Blonde follow-up in his revived radio show.
With all the talk arising from the crooner, Frank is known to release music on his own accord so fans around the world might have to wait a bit for more music.
#HipHopNews: Kanye West Considered Quitting Rap Because It’s The ‘Devil’s Music’!
Kanye West almost turned his back on rap. The rapper’s pastor, Adam Tyson, recently spoke with Christian-based media outlet Apologia Studios (via XXL) about Kanye’s religious rebirth and how its affected his music.
“[Kanye] started visiting our church back in mid-May,” said Tyson, who is the senior pastor at Placerita Bible Church in Newhall, Calif.
After showing up to service a few times, he requested to speak with Tyson. “[Kanye] said, ‘About five weeks ago, I got radically saved,'” shared the pastor. “He just started telling me a little about his testimony.”
Kanye told Tyson that he turned to Christianity after feeling the “weight of sin” from fame and the music industry. “The guilt of sin brought him down low,” he said. “He would say the devil basically brought him to a place where he just felt like he was in bondage to his sin. So he said, ‘I got delivered.'”
At one point, he even considered giving up rap altogether. “One time, he told me that he wasn’t going to rap,” Tyson revealed. “I said, ‘Why not?’ He said, ‘Well, that’s the devil’s music.’ I said, ‘Hey, man. Rap is a genre. You can rap for God.’ I think he was already thinking about it a little bit, but I just definitely said, ‘Hey, bro. I think you need to use your talents that God’s given you and use that platform for God.'”
Ye ultimately decided not to abandon his craft, but use it as vehicle to spread his beliefs. He continues to host his gospel-themed Sunday Service performances, which made a recent stop in Jamaica. His religious-themed album Jesus Is King is reportedly now due Oct. 25, while his film of the same name arrives in IMAX theaters the same day.

Lady Gaga Says She's A 'Single Lady' Again, Hinting Split From Dan Horton!
Lady Gaga is back on the market again. After taking a hard fall at her “Enigma” residency show in Las Vegas the night before, Gaga stepped out happily solo at makeup artist and friend Sarah Tanno’s bachelorette party on Friday (October 18). “An about to be married woman and me, a single lady,” the 33-year-old pop star wrote alongside a selfie with the bride-to-be, hinting she and alleged boyfriend, audio engineer Dan Horton, are no longer an item.
Romance rumors about the two first sparked in late-July when diners spotted the Oscar winner kissing Horton during a dinner date in Los Angeles. Gaga’s last relationship was with ex-fiance Christian Carino, with whom she called it quits in February. She was also speculated to be romantically linked to stars like Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Renner.
All the same, Gaga seemed to enjoy herself at the pre-wedding gathering. In another picture showing her flaunting pink locks and a face beat with products from her very own Haus Laboratories makeup line, the “Born This Way” musician admits she’s still aching after Thursday’s stage fall, writing, “I might be in a lot of pain but I couldn’t miss my bestfriends bachelorette dinner. Will Smith Developing ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ Spinoff Series!
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Will Smith’s entertainment company Westbrook Inc. is developing a spinoff of the popular ’90s sitcom series.
Smith launched Westbrook Inc. in July. The cross-platform company, which he runs with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, is “designed to expand the Smith family brand beyond film and TV into new media, technology, and even merchandising.”
There had been rumors of a “Fresh Prince” reboot for years. In 2015, it was reported that Smith was shopping a remake of the classic ’90s sitcom for modern times.
The original “Fresh Prince” ran for six seasons on NBC from 1990-1996. The show was co-created by Quincy Jones and starred Smith alongside Janet Louise Hubert, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, and the late James Avery. As THR points out, Smith still earns “hefty royalties” from the series, which is licensed to air in 193 territories.
During a 2018 interview, Smith reflected on the show’s impact. “I had no idea that ‘Fresh Prince’ would have that kind of impact,” he told TIDAL’s Rap Radar podcast. “When I look back on it, I can see. It was like, ‘Duh.’ The intracultural racism between the rich blacks and poor blacks and the idea of being uprooted and put into the full mainstream white world, I can see where those ideas would make for a rich show.”

#BoxOfficeNews: 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' Tops the Weekend!
This weekend saw the release of two new sequels and Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil topped the chart as expected, albeit with a lighter performance than expected. However, Sony's Zombieland: Double Tap came in on the high side of expectations while WB's Joker continued its strong run and will soon top $250 million domestically. Elsewhere, Neon's Parasite, A24's The Lighthouse and Fox Searchlight's Jojo Rabbit all had strong showings in limited release.
With an estimated $36 million, Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil opened atop the weekend box office, but failed to reach studio or industry expectations. The performance is also nearly half of the $69.4 million opening for the 2014 original. We saw early signs the film might struggle as noted in our weekend preview when looking at IMDb page view data, but it does appear those that did make their way to theaters to see the follow up enjoyed it, giving the film an "A" CinemaScore and it currently holds a 96% audience score on RottenTomatoes. Overall, the film played to a crowd that was 56% female and 54% were aged 25 or older, compared to 60% female for the original, which also played a little younger.
Internationally, Maleficent launched in all major markets, bringing in an estimated $117 million for a $153 million global debut. Leading the way was a $22.4 million opening in China followed by Russia ($10.7m), Mexico ($7.8m), Indonesia ($4.8m), Italy ($4.7m), Korea ($4.6m), Brazil ($4.5m), UK ($4.3m), France ($3.9m), Thailand ($3.7m), Philippines ($3.5m), Germany ($3.4m) and Spain ($3.2m).
In second is yet another strong performance from WB's Joker, dipping -48% in its third weekend in release. The film's three-day estimate comes in at $29.2 million for a domestic cume that now tops $247 million. Internationally, the film added another $77.8 million for an overseas cume that now tops $490 million and a worldwide total that now stands at $737.5 million.
Sony's Zombieland: Double Tap is the weekend's other new wide release and it delivered on the high end of industry expectations, bringing in an estimated $26.7 million for the three-day weekend. Notable in this day and age, it also debuted higher than its predecessor, outperforming the $24.7 million opening for Zombieland. Of course, given that film opened ten years ago it isn't exactly an apples-to-apples comparison. The film received a "B+" CinemaScore from opening day audiences and played to a crowd that was 57% male — which is almost the exact opposite compared to the first film — and 56% of the overall audience was aged 25+.
Internationally, Double Tap debuted in one market last weekend and is now playing in 17 overseas markets where it grossed $5 million this weekend for a cume that currently stands at $5.3 million. The UK led all markets with a $1.7 million performance this weekend followed by Australia with a $1.3 million debut. Looking ahead, the film will open in Russia, Brazil and Mexico next weekend followed by openings in France (Oct 30), Germany (Nov 7), South Korea (Nov 13), Italy (Nov 14) and Japan (Nov 22).
In its second weekend of release, United Artists Releasing's animated comedy The Addams Family grossed an estimated $16.05 million over the weekend, pushing the film's domestic cume to $56.8 million after ten days in release.
Rounding out the top five is Paramount's Gemini Man dipping -59% as it kicks off its sophomore frame with an estimated $8.5 million for a domestic cume that now stands at $36.5 million. Internationally, the film brought in an estimated $33.4 million this weekend, the bulk of which coming from a $21 million opening in China. The film's overseas cume now stands at $82.2 million for a global total reaching $118.7 million.
Netflix Set To Crackdown On Sharing of Passwords!
Netflix is reportedly set to crack down on the sharing of passwords for the streaming service.
According to NME, the company discussed its Q3 2019 earning and announced that it was keeping an eye on password sharing, and looking to crack down on the practice but in a “consumer-friendly way”.
For now, the number of devices that a Netflix account can stream on is limited, but passwords are able to be shared infinitely.
It’s not clear yet how or when the effects of a crackdown might start to appear, but it seems like the streaming service is hell-bent on making some serious change
Wendy Williams Has Power Dinner With Hollywood Television Moguls!
Wendy Williams received a star on the Hollywood walk of fame this week, and to celebrate she dined with a few members of Hollywood's TV royalty, Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein.
If you don't know these gents, you should. Mort and Ira are the co-presidents of Debmar-Mercury, who are leaders in the world of media syndication, production and distribution.
The company syndicates The Wendy Williams show and as you can tell, this group is a match made in heaven.
Marcus and Bernstein are two of the most successful television executives in the game. The duo made headlines in 2006 with their history-making launch of first-run sitcom, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
The group dined at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, and were all smiles as they left the restaurant.
Kevin Hart's Wife & Son Head to Pumpkin Patch Without Kevin!
Kevin Hart's family is getting back into normalcy while the comedian continues to make progress in his rehabilitation.
Eniko Hart and 1-year-old Kenzo were seen Saturday afternoon at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, CA.
The two were having a great time with a group of friends as they walked among the pumpkin patch and checked out the locally grown vegetables.
35-year-old Eniko was seen schlepping around a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins.
Kevin Hart was not with his wife and child, as he has remained out of the public eye since the car wreck that left him with multiple injuries, including fractures to his spine.
After undergoing emergency surgery Hart has been working on recovery and rehabilitation, and only recently began doing light promotional work for the upcoming "Jumanji: The Next Level."
However, advisors close to Hart don't anticipate the comedian fully returning to work until next year.
K. Michelle Calls Black Market Butt Injections ‘The Worst Decision Of My Life’!
K. Michelle is once again being open and honest about her butt augmentation surgery and the negative effects it had on her life. As previously reported K underwent butt reduction surgery to “remove the foreign objects” from her body that were causing her extreme complications. Now she’s dedicated to helping other women remove their butt injections and she’s preparing to launch a TV show to do so.
Before that show begins, however, K’s appearing on Dr. Phil and detailing her decision to go under the knife in the first place. The songstress was a guest on the host’s “Dying To Be Hot” episode and spoke candidly on her decision to go under the (illegal) knife. According to K, she let a “well known” black market injector put silicone in her body in a hotel room.
“It was the worst decision of my entire life,” said K. “I went to a person who was well known in my music circle. He was not a doctor, he does this in a hotel room, he told me it was gel—some type of gel when it was actually free-flowing silicone in your body.”
She also added that she was already curvy but wanted to be more voluptuous. That backfired however when she started to “look like an ant.”
“I just wanted to be real thick, I wanted to be curvy, what was so messed up Dr. Phil is that I was already curvy,” said K. “I was pleased at first but then I started to look like an ant.”
K also told Dr. Phil that her surgical removal has left holes in her body and she’s devastated by the results. She also cautioned a mother of five on getting a Brazilian butt lift to “look like J. Lo.” (1:50)

Rep. Elijah Cummings to lie in state at U.S. Capitol before funeral in Baltimore church!
A formal memorial ceremony for members of Congress, the Cummings family and invited guests will be held Thursday morning, followed by a public viewing, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said. More details will be announced later.
Cummings (D-Md.) died early Thursday, at age 68, from complications from long-standing health problems.
“In the House, Elijah was our North Star,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) said in a statement. “He was a leader of towering character and integrity, whose stirring voice and steadfast values pushed the Congress and country to rise always to a higher purpose.”
Cummings’s funeral will be at New Psalmist Baptist Church, the West Baltimore church where he was a parishioner for decades, said Victor March Sr. of March Funeral Homes, which is handling the arrangements.
A wake and public viewing will be held at 8 a.m. Friday, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral in the 4,000-seat sanctuary.
Marylanders and members of Congress are mourning Cummings as a bastion of calm and wisdom amid the tumult of Washington.
As chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, he took a forceful stance against the Trump administration while forming lasting bonds with Republican members.
Cummings, who was born into a family of sharecroppers and Baptist preachers, integrated a local Baltimore pool at age 11 and rose to be the first African American speaker pro tem of the Maryland House of Delegates. He was elected to Congress in 1996, where he took on powerful interests and was a champion of young people and the elderly.
He worked to soothe his city after the 2015 death of Freddie Gray, a young African American man who was arrested by Baltimore police and suffered a fatal spinal injury in their custody.
“I’ve often said, our children are the living messages we send to a future we will never see,” he said in his booming baritone at Gray’s funeral.
Condolences poured in Thursday from constituents, colleagues and Cummings’s friend, former president Barack Obama, who said he was “heartbroken” over the congressman’s death.
“Steely yet compassionate, principled yet open to new perspectives, Chairman Cummings remained steadfast in his pursuit of truth, justice, and reconciliation,” Obama’s statement read in part. “It’s a tribute to his native Baltimore that one of its own brought such character, tact, and resolve into the halls of power every day.”
As talk turned to who might run for Cummings’s seat, representing parts of Baltimore as well as Baltimore and Howard counties, a long list of names emerged.
Possible candidates include Cummings’s wife, Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, who chairs the state Democratic Party and briefly ran for governor in 2018, as well as an array of state lawmakers and other elected officials from Baltimore City.
James Gunn Responds To Francis Ford Coppola’s Anti-Marvel Remarks!
The debate among filmmakers on whether or not Marvel and other comic book movies are “cinema” continues as James Gunn has chimed in on the matter.
In the wake of Francis Ford Coppola’s criticism of the superhero genre, the Guardians of the Galaxy took to Instagram to give an even-handed response that defended the MCU and said it’s okay for them to feel like that. He didn’t call out The Godfather director but did use the word “despicable”, which is what Coppola called the movies.
“Many of our grandfathers thought all gangster movies were the same, often calling them ‘despicable’,” wrote Gunn. “Some of our great grandfathers thought the same of westerns and believed the films of John Ford, Sam Peckinpah, and Sergio Leone were all exactly the same.”
He continued, “I remember a great uncle to whom I was raving about Star Wars. He responded by saying, ‘I saw that when it was called 2001, and, boy, was it boring!’ Superheroes are simply today’s gangsters/cowboys/outer space adventurers. Some superhero films are awful, some are beautiful. Like westerns and gangster movies (and before that, just MOVIES), not everyone will be able to appreciate them, even some geniuses. And that’s okay. ❤️”
This dramatic anti-Marvel saga began with Scorsese during an interview with Empire magazine for The Irishman when he said that he has tried unsuccessfully to watch Marvel movies. He continued to say “that’s not cinema.” This started a Twitter backlash from fans and even actors from the MCU like Robert Downey Jr. chimed in on the matter. Gunn also responded to Scorsese’s comments saying, “Martin Scorsese is one of my 5 favorite living filmmakers. I was outraged when people picketed The Last Temptation of Christ without having seen the film. I’m saddened that he’s now judging my films in the same way.”
Hopefully, Gunn’s remarks will put a bookend to all of this — but something tells me we haven’t heard the last of this debate.
