#RHOA: Todd Chrisley Gets Support From Kandi Burruss!
Todd Chrisley is having a rough month but, he is getting support from a few people who know the pressures of being in the reality show business. On Wednesday, Todd posted a beautiful picture of him and granddaughter, Chloe, with the caption, "Just because she’s so beautiful and because I love her so much."
Chloe, who is currently being raised by Todd and Julie Chrisley is the daughter of his estranged son Kyle, and she is often featured on their TV show, "Chrisley Knows Best."

Todd received a slew of responses about his precious granddaughter including one from "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss, who commented, "She’s gorgeous!"
Kandi wasn't the only celebrity to jump in and comment on Todd's most recent post, actress Holly Robinson-Peete also posted a note to Chrisley, writing "Little Angel."

Both women ended their messages with heart emojis. Obviously, neither of them is addressing the legal issues directly, but Todd can use all the support he can get.
As reported Todd and Julie Chrisley were indicted on 11 felonies related to financial crimes. The couple blames a bitter ex-employee for all their issues. The employee, and accountant, has turned government witness and is cooperating with prosecutors.

Officials believe the celebrity couple falsified documents and lied about how much money they were making from their reality TV show.

#HipHiopNews: Lil Nas X Addresses Nicki Minaj Fan Rumors!πŸ‘€
Before he broke the record for longest-running No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Lil Nas X was a social media sensation.
The “Old Town Road” phenom gained a large six-figure following on Twitter with his viral memes and reportedly ran the popular Nicki Minaj fan account @NasMaraj on Twitter.

During his visit to Ebro on Hot 97 this week, the 20-year-old rapper was asked about his past including whether he was a “big Nicki Minaj fan.” He remained coy, only saying, “Ummm…somewhat,” while making it clear that’s not what made him successful. “But that’s not how…it’s music things.”
New York magazine documented his rise to stardom using social media. “By trafficking in memes, viral threads, engagement bait, and Nicki Minaj stanning, Lil Nas X was able to create a six-digit follower base on Twitter, and it was that platform that served as a springboard for ‘Old Town Road,'” wrote the magazine, who claims that Nas’ team has tried to squash reports that he ran a Nicki Minaj fanpage.

His old @NasMaraj account is suspended now, but some tweets are available through internet archives. While he may distance himself from his past, Nicki Minaj fans haven’t forgotten about one of their own.
Lil Nas is now moving forward. After “Old Town Road” was finally dethroned from the top of the Hot 100 after 19 weeks, he is promoting his new single “Panini,” which he performed at the MTV VMAs.

“I’m not expecting to have every single do this,” he said of “Old Town Road’s” massive success. “It’s just an amazing boost, head start to get where I’m going to be and it’s opened doors for so much other stuff, even outside of music.”

Watch the full interview HERE, where he also speaks about working with Cardi B and breaking barriers.

Texas Mass shooting leaves five people dead, 21 injured in Odessa and Midland! Shoooter Identified as Seth Aaron Ator!
😭πŸ˜ͺ
ODESSA, Tex. — A shooting spree that unfolded Saturday afternoon during a chaotic, high-speed police chase in West Texas was not an act of terrorism, law enforcement authorities said as they continued to piece together what had led a gunman to open fire on motorists and police officers while driving along a 15-mile stretch of highways and shopping centers.

Still, Odessa police officials said at a news conference Sunday afternoon at the University of Texas Permian Basin that they did not have a clear motive for the attack, which left seven dead and 22 others wounded, their bodies sprawled amid more than 15 crime scenes that scores of law enforcement officers continued to process.
The authorities initially refused to identify the gunman Sunday, with Michael Gerke, chief of the Odessa Police Department, telling reporters at the news conference that they would not “give him any notoriety for what he did.”
They later identified him as Seth Aaron Ator, 36, of Odessa.
Chief Gerke said the gunman had used an AR-15-style rifle, but it was not clear Sunday whether it had been acquired legally. The gunman had a criminal record, but did not have any open warrants for his arrest when the police pulled him over Saturday afternoon before the shooting, Chief Gerke said.
“This is a different type of active shooter that we were involved with, because he was mobile, and that creates some very special type of issues,” Chief Gerke said.
The gunman fled from state troopers who had tried to pull him over, and then hijacked a United States Postal Service van, killing its driver before indiscriminately firing while he drove. In cellphone video from witnesses that captured the final moments of the attack, the postal van speeds into view and slams into a police cruiser outside a movie theater in Odessa. A burst of gunfire followed as officers who had been chasing the van rushed out and shot the gunman, who appeared to still be inside the van.

The authorities said Sunday that the seven people killed in the attack ranged in age from 15 to 57, including 29-year-old Mary Granados, whom U.S.P.S. officials said was a letter carrier. In a statement, the department said it was “shocked and saddened” and was working closely with other agencies on the investigation.
Three law enforcement officers were among the wounded, as was a 17-month-old toddler who was recovering Sunday from injuries that included shrapnel in her chest.
The chief suggested that the gunman may have intended to enter the crowded movie theater in Odessa where the chase ended.

“It begs the question, why go to the theater if you’re not planning on entering the theater, and please understand that, on a Saturday afternoon in Odessa, Tex., that is one of the most crowded places to be,” he said.
The attack on Saturday spread panic and fear for hours across West Texas, hundreds of miles from the border city of El Paso, where just 28 days earlier a gunman had killed 22 people at a Walmart in an anti-Hispanic attack.
At 3:13 p.m. Saturday, state troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety tried to pull over a man driving a gold car for failing to signal a left turn, the authorities said. The car was headed west and was near the Midland airport. Before it came to a complete stop, the driver pointed a rifle toward the rear window and fired several shots at the state troopers, injuring one, the Department of Public Safety said in a statement.

The gunman then drove west toward Odessa, shooting a person as he sped away on I-20 and east Loop 338. The shooting continued, and bodies were left in the wake as the gunman continued driving, eventually speeding into the Cinergy movie theater on Highway 191. He shot an Odessa police officer and a Midland police officer before officers returned fire and killed him, the authorities said.
On Sunday morning, the white postal van and the Odessa police vehicle remained in the same spot where the shooting had ended. Agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were among the officers examining the crime scene on Sunday.

Christopher H. Combs, the special agent in charge of the F.B.I.’s San Antonio office, said federal agents were executing a search warrant at a residence in Odessa on Sunday afternoon, but declined to say whether it was the gunman’s home.
Special Agent Combs and Gov. Greg Abbott, both of whom attended the news conference at the university on Sunday, expressed sadness, frustration and a kind of exhaustion over the series of mass shootings in Texas in recent years. Since the shooting rampage that targeted police officers in downtown Dallas in 2016, there have been five mass shootings in Texas in 37 months, all of which Mr. Abbott and his staff have responded to.
“I’m heartbroken by the crying of the people of the State of Texas,” the governor said. “I’m tired of the dying of the people of the State of Texas. Too many Texans are in mourning. Too many Texans have lost their lives. The status quo in Texas is unacceptable and action is needed.”

Mr. Abbott, a Republican who has been a longtime advocate for gun rights, said the state must keep guns out of the hands of criminals like the gunman in Odessa, “while also assuring that we safeguard Second Amendment rights, and we must do it fast.”
More than a dozen people were still being treated at hospitals Saturday and Sunday. The wounded state trooper was in serious but stable condition, and doctors were optimistic he would make a full recovery, officials said. The two Midland and Odessa police officers were in stable condition.

The injured Midland officer, Zack Owens, was shot several times in an arm and hand, but relatives said his most serious injury had resulted from having glass shards in one eye.
Officer Owens’ brother, Jake Owens, is also an officer with the Midland Police Department. Abigail McCullough, the wife of Mr. Owens’ cousin, set up a donation page on GoFundMe, a crowdfunding site, to help pay the medical expenses for Zack Owens. By Sunday, more than $57,000 had been raised.
The 17-month-old girl who was shot was identified by family friends as Anderson Davis. A GoFundMe page for Anderson said the toddler had been wounded by a bullet fragment. The page was created by Haylee Wilkerson, a friend of Anderson’s mother, and had raised more than $145,000 by Sunday.

A note from Anderson’s mother on the page said her daughter was alive, which was “a prayer answered bigger than I’ve ever had to pray.” Her mother wrote that Anderson’s vitals were good and that she had shrapnel in her chest, her front teeth had been knocked out, and she had a hole through her bottom lip and tongue.

Mr. Abbott told reporters that he had received a text from Anderson’s mother, and he read parts of it aloud during the news conference.
“‘Thank God she’s alive and relatively well,’” the governor read. “She goes on to say that, ‘Toddlers are funny, because they can get shot, but still want to run around and play.’” She also told Mr. Abbott that Anderson would be undergoing surgery on Monday to remove the shrapnel from her chest, to fix her lip and mouth, and to allow doctors to get a better look at her tongue.
Ten new laws loosening firearms restrictions took effect on Sunday in Texas, a state where gun rights have long been celebrated and protected. Texas has among the most liberal gun laws in the nation, according to Guns & Ammo magazine.

One of the new laws prevents condominium and rental housing complex owners from prohibiting firearms or ammunition from being stored or carried onto their properties. Another prohibits school districts from enforcing gun safety rules for staff and visitors who keep firearms or ammunition inside their locked vehicles on school grounds, as long as weapons are not “in plain view.”
In a statement that praised the rules last week, the National Rifle Association said the measures were examples of the state legislature and governor “protecting your Second Amendment rights.”

Mr. Abbott on Sunday defended those new laws as having been enacted “for the purpose of making our community safer.”
President Trump praised police and emergency workers in West Texas on Sunday and called the gunman a “very sick person.”
“It’s tragic, but they did an incredible job under the circumstances,” Mr. Trump said after stepping off Marine One on his return to the White House. “Another very sick person. So I just want to thank everybody involved. And always, you say, as bad as it was, it could have been worse. But it was certainly bad. A very, very sad situation.”
The president said a package of legislation was being prepared in response to the recent spate of mass shootings and would be presented to Congress, but he declined to discuss details.

“This really hasn’t changed anything,” Mr. Trump said, adding, “We’re looking at a lot of different bills.”
Regarding proposals to tighten background checks on gun purchases, he said: “I will say that for the most part, sadly, if you look at the last four or five, going back even five or six or seven years — for the most part, as strong as you make your background checks, they would not have stopped any of it. So it’s a big problem. It’s a mental problem.”

Residents in Odessa, a city of 120,000, remained on edge Sunday. Though Odessa and El Paso are separated by nearly 300 miles, the cities share some ties and a Western sensibility.
On Saturday night, at the University of Texas Permian Basin, Stephanie Stonecliffe watched as her children played with rocks. She said her friend had been shopping at the Walmart in El Paso when the gunman there opened fire.

“Eventually I knew it was going to happen closer to home, especially with what’s going on in the world,” said Ms. Stonecliffe, who moved to the area recently from College Station, Tex. “This just tells me the world’s getting a little bit more dangerous.”

Dorian to hit Bahamas as 'devastating' hurricane, then menace Georgia and Carolinas!🌊
JACKSONVILLE, Fla- Hurricane Dorian punched northwest on Saturday to threaten Georgia and the Carolinas, possibly sparing Florida a direct hit, as the Bahamas braced for catastrophic waves and wind from the muscular category 4 storm.
Florida towns told residents to remain vigilant despite forecasts they might dodge a Dorian landfall, as a tropical storm watch was issued for the state's south Atlantic coast.

Communities in northeast Florida, Georgia and South Carolina raised alert levels, with residents filling sandbags as authorities tested infrastructure and hurricane drills. South Carolina on Saturday joined Georgia, North Carolina and Florida in declaring a state of emergency.
Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis begged residents of Abaco and Grand Bahamas to head for the main island to escape the "devastating, dangerous" storm.

"I want you to remember: homes, houses, structures can be replaced. Lives cannot be replaced," Minnis told a news conference, adding that 73,000 people and 21,000 homes were at risk to storm surges of up to 15 feet (4.6 meters).
Dorian could then veer northwest and possibly remain at sea as it moved up the U.S. eastern seaboard late on Monday through Tuesday, the NHC said.
A tropical storm watch was issued for a more than 120-mile stretch (193 km) of Florida coast from Deerfield Beach to around Palm Bay, meaning sustained winds of up to 73 mph (117 kmh)were possible within 48 hours.

"While obviously for us it's a better forecast, we can't assume that there's not going to be hazardous weather," said Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber.
Central Florida towns urged residents to remain alert after past hurricanes like 1992's Andrew slammed the Bahamas and then barreled straight into the peninsula's southeast coast.
Hurricane Dorian is seen from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration NOAA's GOES-East Satellite, over the Atlantic Ocean, August 31, 2019 in this handout image obtained from social media.
"Don't start taking down your shutters, don't start disassembling your emergency plan," said Eric Flowers, a spokesman for the sheriff's office in Indian River County.
On Tybee Island, a Georgia coastal barrier island, authorities put out sand for sandbags to protect against possible flooding in the marshy area.
"Our biggest concern is storm surge because the tides are really high right now," said the manager of a local restaurant, who asked not be named as he was not authorized to speak to media.
Further north, Dorchester County in South Carolina raised its alert level to make sure infrastructure and public safety crews were ready for the hurricane in the area near the historic city of Charleston.

North Carolina Emergency Management (NCEMA) said the storm was forecast to keep moving in the state's direction for the next 48 hours.
“Now is the time to prepare and assemble disaster supplies," said Katie Webster, an NCEMA meteorologist, urging people to prepare a week's supply of food and water.

#RIP We Remember Rhoda! Valerie Harper, TV's lovable Rhoda, dies at 80!πŸ˜₯ πŸŽ•
Valerie Harper, who scored guffaws, stole hearts and busted TV taboos as the brash, self-deprecating Rhoda Morgenstern on back-to-back hit sitcoms in the 1970s, has died.
Longtime family friend Dan Watt confirmed Harper died Friday, adding the family wasn't immediately releasing any further details. She had been battling cancer for years, and her husband said recently he had been advised to put her in hospice care.

Harper was a breakout star on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," then the lead of her own series, "Rhoda." She was 80.
She won three consecutive Emmys (1971-73) as supporting actress on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and another for outstanding lead actress for "Rhoda," which ran from 1974-78. Beyond awards, she was immortalized — and typecast — for playing one of television's most beloved characters, a best friend the equal of Ethel Mertz and Ed Norton in TV's sidekick pantheon.

Fans had long feared the news of her passing. In 2013, she first revealed that she had been diagnosed with brain cancer and had been told by her doctors she had as little as three months to live. Some responded as if a family member were in peril.
But she refused to despair. "I'm not dying until I do," Harper said in an interview on NBC's "Today" show. "I promise I won't." Harper did outlive her famous co-star: Mary Tyler Moore died in January 2017. Ed Asner, Cloris Leachman, Betty White and Gavin MacLeod are among the former cast members who survive her.

MacLeod recalled her as a "talented, gifted actress" in an email to The Associated Press.
"It is indeed a sad day. My life has been so enriched by having the experience of working with Valerie and calling her a friend. ... The thing I remember so much about Val is that she loved her family, she loved the actors that she worked with and she loved the underdog. She was always helping someone," he wrote.

In recent years, Harper's other appearances included "American Dad!" ''The Simpsons" and "Two Broke Girls."
Harper was a chorus dancer on Broadway as a teen before moving into comedy and improv when, in 1970, she auditioned for the part of a Bronx-born Jewish girl who would be a neighbor and pal of Minneapolis news producer Mary Richards on a new sitcom for CBS.
It seemed a long shot for the young, unknown actress. As she recalled, "I'm not Jewish, not from New York, and I have a small shiksa nose." And she had almost no TV experience.

The show that resulted was a groundbreaking hit, with comically relatable Rhoda one big reason.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Cacciotti, and daughter, Cristina Cacciotti.

Ariana Grande Strikes Back After She's Accused of Not Singing Live!
Ariana Grande recently took to Instagram to share a video of herself performing during a concert while on her Sweetener World Tour.
A fan then commented on the post, saying it sounds like she’s using autotune and not signing live.
“It sounds like autotune and probably not live,” they wrote. “I mean you are a great singer and I love your voice and songs but this doesn’t sound live.”

Ariana then commented back slamming the accusations.
“Naw with all due respect, I could do this in your living room for you, fam,” Ariana wrote. “With no sound mixing or help at all. I could do it on Broadway (and did). I can do it on the shower. In the car. It’s my gift / it’s why I’m here. I sing 30+ sons a night. Every word. It’s my thing. Let me shine like damn.”

Paparazzo Sues Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez After Allegedly Being Hit By A Car They Were Riding In!😲
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are heading to court… but it’s not for their wedding. While we wait for the details on the superstar singer and retired All-star baseball player’s wedding nuptials, one person is taking them to court. They are being sued after allegedly being involved in a car accident last year. The two were in an SUV when it reportedly hit a man in an alley!

And now he’s suing. Liyanage Perera said in his lawsuit that he was walking behind a restaurant on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles when a Cadillac SUV allegedly hit him. While he’s suing Lopez and Rodriguez, neither of them were actually behind the wheel at the time of the accident. But he said he blames them because they didn’t tell their security team to be careful when they were leaving the restaurant. He also called them out for allegedly not getting out to see if he was okay. Instead, he said “they quickly fled the scene.”

He expects Lopez and Rodriguez to pay for his hospital bills and damages.
Liyanage also previously filed a police report. But the Sheriff’s Department refused to press charges and said he can’t stand in front of a car and block it. In those cases, drivers are legally allowed to keep moving forward slowly.

In a possible video of the incident, a car with Lopez and Rodriguez on the inside is moving forward and suddenly stops. Then a man is shown in front of the car, as bystanders help him get up, and the car keeps going forward. See that here.
Lopez and Rodriguez have been dating for more than 2 years. He proposed in March. So far, there’s no wedding date just yet.

What are your thoughts on the lawsuit?

#TVNews: ‘This Is Us’ Season 4 The Surprise New Cast; Premiere Episode Set To Be An Extended Special!πŸ“Ί
NBC have announced a slew of brand new cast members for This Is Us Season 4—seen in this new promo trailer for the special extended premiere episode entitled “Strangers”.
Among them are two alums of Netflix series When They See Us: Asante Blackk and Marsha Stephanie Blake. We also see The Sixth Sense director M. Night Shyamalan as a new cast addition, along with Bahara Golestani (Animal Kingdom), Timothy Omundson (Psych: The Movie), Julian Silva (Queen of the South), Auden Thornton (Doubt), Nick Wechsler (Shades of Blue) and Omar Epps (House).

The details of their roles are, as yet, unknown, but it appears that Blake may be playing Blackk’s mother—in the clip we see her kiss his cheek—while Epps may be his father, since we see the pair working together as car mechanics.
Epps’ former House cast mate Jennifer Morrison’s major recurring role was already made official in July, and while its significance remains under wraps, the trailer gives us a few more breadcrumbs. We see her in modern-day military uniform seated at a desk with a framed photo of a father who could be Kevin (Justin Hartley), with a young son. And of course, we already know from the Season 3 finale flash forward that Kevin will have a son.

The trailer opens with Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) in a car. Following her first Emmy nomination for this role in July, Moore told Deadline of the Season 4 beginning: “Myself and Milo, we’re picking up where we left off after that fateful road trip out to California. We just arrived back in Pittsburgh and we’re trying to figure out how we move forward with our relationship and meet each other’s respective families.”

In the trailer, a young Rebecca tells Jack: “It’s actually kind of terrifying how a single cross with one person who you’ve never met can change everything.” It’s not clear to whom this foreboding speech refers, but as the clip flicks through the faces of the new cast members, in classic This Is Us style, Rebecca’s musing is likely to be the thread that draw together a series of different stories and timelines.
We see Griffin Dunne, who has previously played the older version of Nicky, while Ron Cephas Jones is also set to resume the role of William, Randall Pearson (Sterling K. Brown)’s ill-fated father—a turn that won Jones his third Emmy nom this year (he won in 2018).

The clip also provides glimpses of other previous cast members, confirmed by NBC as returning this season. There’s Cosby Show veteran Phylicia Rashad as Carol, Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson)’s mother, Tim Jo as Randall’s campaign manager Jae-won Yoo, Elizabeth Perkins as Janet Malone, the racist mother of Rebecca (Mandy Moore), and Caitlin Thompson will resume her role of Madison, Kate (Chrissy Metz)’s friend.

This Is Us Season 4 will premiere on September 24 on NBC.

Fashion House Dior Accused Of Cultural Appropriation For The Native American ‘Inspired’ Fragrance Campaign!πŸ‘€
Dior is under fire after debuting a snippet of a new fragrance campaign that featured Native Americans and actor Johnny Depp.
According to The Guardian, Dior teased the ad on Twitter on Friday as “an authentic journey deep into the Native American soul in a sacred, founding and secular territory”. The tweet has since been deleted and all references to the campaign on social media.
An extended video promoting the fragrance shows the actor walking amongst the red rocks of south-western Utah as a Native American fancy war dancer Canku One Star, a Rosebud Sioux member. He then performs on a cliff and a young woman, played by Canadian actor of First Nations descent Tanaya Beatty, follows him from a distance.

Since the debut of the video, many have criticized the brand citing the fashion brand for cultural appropriating and racism.
“It is so deeply offensive and racist,” said Crystal Echo Hawk, CEO of the media watchdog group IllumiNative, says in the article. “I don’t know how anyone in 2019 can think a campaign like this can go down well.”
Although the ‘Sauvage’ line of perfumes isn’t new, the brand’s continued use of the name alongside Native American imagery has drawn much criticism for nearly 40 years. The French name of the fragrance line translates to “wild” or “savage” in English.

“Honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh because this drips with irony, every single aspect of it,” said Dallas Goldtooth, an organizer with the Indigenous Environmental Network, an environmental and economic justice group. “But I’m also upset and angry at the same time.”
Goldtooth told the Guardian, “[the video] romanticized Native Americans as relics from the past,” he adds, “It’s deplorable that Dior thought this was appropriate.”
Dior stated in a press release that the film was created in collaboration with Native American consultants and the advocacy group, Americans for Indian Opportunity, with goals of “moving away from clichΓ©s in order to avoid the cultural appropriation and subversion that so often taints images representing Native peoples”.

However, Dior’s attempt to work with Native Americans fell short and missed the mark big time. “It feels like they tried to do it ‘right’ and involved some great people – but it’s still an ad for a notoriously racist company and a product called ‘Savage’,” Adrienne Keene, a scholar and founder of the blog Native Appropriations wrote.

According to the article, Dior did not respond to a request for comment.

LOL! 😨President Trump: Suing Omarosa Newman Over Confidentiality Agreement!
President Trump said he’s filing a lawsuit against former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman.
In a tweet Saturday, the president said he’s currently suing “various people” for confidentiality agreement violations.
He said one of them included Newman, adding although he gave her a break, she went for some cheap money with a book.
The tweet comes after the president said he wouldn’t have to enforce a confidentially agreement against former personal assistant Madeline Westerhout, who stepped down earlier this week.

Newman published a book about her alleged experiences working with the president last year.
