Here are some excerpts from the interview!
“If you say no, I’ll find someone who will say yes. I’m just that person. If I believe in it, I give my damn best and make it happen.”
“Everything that I am today or am doing in America, I learnt in India. I’m just showing a perspective of it.”

“For me home is wherever I’m happy, as long as I have the people I love around me. I have homes in Mumbai and New York, which are very vertical cities. LA is more horizontal,” she says, tempted with the idea of a pool and backyard. The ocean and weather remind her of Mumbai, too. “Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list.”

#RHOA: NeNe Leakes was Asked About Kenya’s Big Return To ‘RHOA’: She threw shade and said ‘Who Is That?’
NeNe Leakes gives side eye like no other! The ‘RHOA’ veteran threw major shade at Kenya Moore when she was asked about the new mother’s return on ‘Wendy Williams’, Sept. 17! And, let’s just say they haven’t hashed out their differences…
Well, NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore are still at odds. NeNe, 51, seemed to confirm that one while chatting with close friend, Wendy Williams on her talk show, September 17. “Who’s that now?”, NeNe said sarcastically, when asked about Kenya’s return to the show’s upcoming season 12, premiering later this year.

Wendy went on to explain that “Kenya’s back and she’s stirring the pot,” adding, “It seems like she’s coming after a NeNe-sized check to be the NeNe of ‘Atlanta Housewives.'” Fans of the show will know that NeNe is one of the highest paid Housewives in the franchise, as she’s been with the show since its 2008 inception.
Before she replied, NeNe rolled her eyes and put on her signature shade-face, which had the studio audience oohing and ahh-ing. “Good luck with that,” she said, reassuring everyone that she doesn’t “have to fight for anything, honey.”

While NeNe and Kenya, 48, have had their fair share of ups and downs, their latest drama occurred when Kenya returned to the RHOA as a guest during the show’s season 11 finale. Kenya, who was already at odds with NeNe at the time, showed up to Cynthia Bailey‘s wine cooler party last season, which resulted in a rift between NeNe and Cynthia, because NeNe claimed she wasn’t aware Kenya would be at the party. Cynthia didn’t think twice about inviting Kenya, seeing as they have no issues. But, NeNe, who called Kenya a “monster” at the party, thought different.
Kenya confirmed her return to the RHOA cast as a full-time housewife earlier this summer with a photo of what appeared to be her official “peach” promo on Instagram. Bravo also confirmed the news on Instagram, July 10, writing, “She’s back!”

Kenya initially joined the show in season five and left after season 10 following messy contract negotiations. She later confirmed that she took time away from the show to focus on her family, following reports that she was fired. Kenya and husband Marc Daly welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Brooklyn Doris on November 4, 2018.

#Empire: Taraji P. Henson on saying goodbye to Cookie: 'She gave me a second life in this industry'
“Lot of drama coming your way, just like Empire is known to do,” Taraji P. Henson tells EW of Empire’s sixth and final season. Ain’t that the truth.

After five seasons of betrayals, deaths, and even a ghost wife, the drama went to new levels earlier this year when what started as an alleged homophobic and racial attack on star Jussie Smollett took more twists and turns than an Empire story line. Smollett was eventually arrested for filing a false police report (the charges have since been dismissed), leading to his removal from season 5’s final two episodes and co-creator Lee Daniels definitively saying the 37-year-old actor won’t return. His character Jamal’s absence will be explained by him moving to London with his new husband.
“We miss him immensely,” Henson says of her TV son, whom she’d “absolutely” love to see back. “As a mother in real life, as a mother in television, I lost one of my babies — and that hurts.”

But with the Smollett situation seemingly behind them, the Empire cast and creative team are now focused on crafting a “big and dynamic” conclusion. “This is the end of a great legacy” says Henson, who is annoyed by any suggestion that the series was canceled. “Everybody is putting their best foot forward to bring it down with a bang.”
And with Cookie refusing to go on the run with Lucious (Terrence Howard) in the season 5 finale, Henson says it’s finally time for her character to “save herself and love herself,” which means breaking away from Empire and “making her own way.”

“Everything has been about doing something for her family, for her husband, for her sons — when has Cookie ever done anything for her?” Henson says. So, following up on Cookie’s growing social media popularity, she’s the newest host on a The View-type show called The Tea Talk. “You can imagine the claws that are tossed back and forth,” Henson says with a laugh. But the Cookie and Lucious relationship is no laughing matter, with Henson saying of the troubled couple: “The love is not lost, but the romance is.”

While the Lyons’ future might still be unknown, Henson is sure of one thing (other than the “baaaaad shopping habit” that the character gave her). “Cookie has meant so much to me,” she says. “She gave me a second life in this industry and made me a pop star in my 40s. Cookie was a movement. Long after I’m gone, people will be talking about Cookie.”

Empire returns Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

#NewMusicVideo from Raphael Saadiq – So Ready
Legendary singer Raphael Saadiq gives us yet another visual from his recently released album with the new video for “So Ready”. The song was released as part of the lead up to his new album “Jimmy Lee”, and it stays true to his vintage soul sound.

This is the follow up visual to “Something Keeps Calling” which he put out a couple of weeks back.
Both of the songs were included on his recently released return album “Jimmy Lee” which came out in August. This is Saadiq’s fifth solo album and first since 2011.

The singer is also set to head out on his “Jimmy Lee” tour in support of the album.

#NewHipHipVideo from T.I. And Teyana Taylor ‘You (Be There)’
A year after the release of his Dime Trap album, T.I. debuts the cinematic video for “You (Be There)” featuring Teyana Taylor.

After directing videos for Monica, Lil Durk, ScHoolboy Q, Teyana “Spike Tee” Taylor steps behind and in front of the camera in the nearly 13-minute clip, which doubles as a visual for her T.I. collaboration “You” and the London Jae-assisted “Be There,” two tracks off Dime Trap.

The rapper and R&B singer play a couple of armed vigilantes who are out to fight evil and save their community from sexual predators including a pastor who preys on children. They take matters into their own hands, bursting into the church and shooting the preacher in the head in front of his congregation. They then free a group of women who are being held against their will and gun down a corrupt cop.

Next up, Tip will appear alongside Cardi B and Chance the Rapper on Netflix’s new hip-hop competition series “Rhythm + Flow.” The 10 hour-long episodes will roll out over the course of three weeks starting Oct. 9.

#RIP:Legendary journalist Cokie Roberts dies at age 75!
Veteran journalist, political commentator and best-selling author Cokie Roberts has died, ABC News is reporting.
The 75-year-old died from complications of breast cancer on Tuesday, her family said in a statement.
She worked in television, public radio and publishing for more than 40 years. Roberts began her tenure at ABC as a contributor for "This Week with David Brinkley" and later became ABC's chief congressional analyst.
Roberts, who authored eight books, served as a longtime political correspondent for ABC News and NPR.

Her books often focused on the role of American women.
"I've written a lot of books about the role of women in American history because it's been underreported," she said during an interview about her 2015 book "Capital Dames: The Civil War and the Women of Washington, 1848-1868."
"You know, it's half of the human population, and history books tend to be about battles and charters and dates instead of the actual story," she said. "The women tell the story a whole lot better than the men do."
The broadcasting trailblazer won three Emmys over the course of her career.

ABC News president James Goldston said she will be dearly missed in a statement.
"Cokie's kindness, generosity, sharp intellect and thoughtful take on the big issues of the day made ABC a better place and all of us better journalists," he said.
Roberts began her career in the 1960s at WNEW and KNBC-TV. She joined CBS News in 1974 and then NPR in 1978, for which she covered Capitol Hill and reported on the Panama Canal Treaty. She also served as a correspondent for "The MacNeil-Lehrer Newshour" and as a contributing senior news analyst for PBS.
"Cokie was one of NPR's 'founding mothers,' since 1978 her signature voice and commentary have accompanied public radio listeners, provided context for news and been a familiar presence in their homes," NPR president and CEO Jarl Mohn said in a statement.

Roberts' death was immediately felt throughout the journalism community, particularly by those who worked with her.
ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir tweeted, "You made us all better. Your brilliant mind, your sharp wit - and above all, your kind heart."
NPR's Steve Inskeep said "She was an insightful voice on the air, and a leader behind the scenes, at both @NPR and @abcnews.
Mother Jones' editor-in-chief Clara Jeffery said Roberts "broke down barriers for women journalists and had a remarkable life."

Her family issued the following statement:
"Her loving family announces the passing of journalist and author Cokie Roberts, due to complications from breast cancer, on September 17.
Born Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne Boggs on December 27, 1943, Cokie was – first and foremost – a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend.

Cokie’s career as a journalist at National Public Radio and ABC News took her to the heights of her profession, and her success as an author on history and family put her on the best seller list.
But her values put family and relationships above all else.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, journalist, author and professor Steven V. Roberts, her children Lee Roberts and Rebecca Roberts, her grandchildren Regan, Hale and Cecilia Roberts and Claiborne, Jack and Roland Hartman, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is also survived by friendships and by causes that she put her time, resources and energy into that are too numerous to count.
We would like to thank the staff at the National Institutes of Health for their dedication, expertise, work and incredible care for Cokie during her illness.

We will miss Cokie beyond measure, both for her contributions and for her love and kindness.

We are hopeful that Cokie now goes to join her parents, former Members of Congress Hale and Lindy Boggs, her siblings Barbara, Tom and William, who predecease her, and her God."

Whitney Houston Hologram Tour Dates Announced, First Peek Revealed
Whitney Houston is – sort of – going on tour! The late singer will be the star of a hologram concert tour called, “An Evening With Whitney.” According to longtime manager and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, the show will be an interactive experience that will allow many fans to see her live for the first time.

In a statement, Pat said: “Whitney is not with us, but her music will live with us forever. We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram. They also know that engaging her fans with an authentic Whitney experience would resonate worldwide because of the iconic status that she created over three decades. Her fans deserve nothing less because she gave nothing less than her best.”

BASE Hologram – the company behind the tour – recently released the first peek of one of the Whitney holograms used in the show. The version shows the singer in what she looked like in the late 1980’s, with short curly hair, gold leather jacket, and distressed jeans.
“An Evening With Whitney” launches at the top of the year in Mexico, while North American dates are scheduled for the fall of 2020. Beloved choreographer to the stars, Fatima Robinson, is setting the tour’s dancers in motion while Whitney Houston’s brother, Gary, will play in the live band. BASE Hologram Chairman and CEO Brian Becker said this about the tour:
“While ‘An Evening With Whitney’ will include all of her iconic hits, it’s not a throw-back show. This isn’t a journey through time, but more of a celebration of her best work. The main goal in these types of shows is to preserve the legacy of one-of-a-kind musicians and using their actual master recordings, give fans the chance to see them perform — many for the first time.”

Alex Trebek will undergo another round of chemotherapy!
“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek revealed that he is undergoing a second round of chemotherapy in an interview with “Good Morning America” on Tuesday.
The game show icon told “GMA” that he “lost about 12 pounds in a week” and that his numbers “were much higher than they were” when he was first diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. As a result, the doctors told him that he had to undergo a second round of chemo.

This marks a disappointing setback for the game show icon, who made his triumphant return to Season 35 of “Jeopardy!” last Monday, a mere six months after his diagnosis. Trebek, 79, had called the recovery “mind-boggling” in an interview with People magazine, adding that “some of the tumors have shrunk more than 50 percent.”
Trebek was recovering so fast, in fact, that doctors were ready to stop chemo and start him on a less aggressive immunotherapy, per the “GMA” interview.

“I was doing so well,” Trebek told “GMA.” “And my numbers went down to the equivalent of a normal human being who does not have pancreatic cancer. So, we were all very optimistic.”
Unfortunately, “miraculous recoveries” from pancreatic cancer are rare, with only 5 to 10 percent of patients making it five years past diagnosis of the disease, which kills 45,750 people every year.

Trebek described cancer as “mysterious in more ways than one,” saying that it caused him equal parts excruciating pain and fatigue. He also said the disease took a toll on his mental health since the diagnosis, as he sometimes felt a “surge of sadness” and depression.
The “Jeopardy!” Twitter account retweeted the interview earlier today, prompting an outpouring of support for Trebek.

“This was sad! I’ve seen my father do the same thing, work while taking chemo,” said one. “I pray that Alex Trebek enjoys his days.”
However, the game show legend says that one thing they won’t be saying about him is that “he was taken from us too soon,” adding that he’s had “one hell of a good life.”
Trebek also says he has no plans to stop hosting “Jeopardy!”

“As long as I can walk out and greet the audience and the contestants and run the game, I’m happy.”

Beyonce Shares Rare Glimpse Of Twins During 'Making The Gift' Documentary
Beyonce shared an intimate look at her family in her new "Making The Gift" documentary.
The pop superstar's latest offering aired on ABC Monday revealing a behind-the-scenes take at the making of her recent album "The Lion King: The Gift".

And her adorable two-year-old twins Sir and Rumi Carter, alongside their seven-year-old sister Blue Ivy, stole the spotlight as they were featured in several clips from the family's visit to Africa.
During the hour-long special, the "Formation" singer asked daughter Rumi what sounds different animals make and the baby girl answered with glee. Another sweet moment featured son Sir sitting on Beyonce's lap alongside Rumi during a flight.

Blue Ivy drew loving looks from her father Jay-Z as she showcased her vocal talents by singing a rendition of Beyonce's "Brown Skin Girl".
"When I see fathers singing 'Brown Skin Girl' to their daughters, to know that my daughter can have the same opportunities and feel confident and feel like she doesn't have to take her braids down and she can comb her afro out and she can glisten in her brown skin... That is why I make music,' the songstress noted.
And she further detailed her experience as a parent of three. "When you're a mother, there's a love that you experience with your kids that's deeper than anything you can imagine. The love is beyond Earth and beyond time and space, and it's a connection that will be constant."
As Beyonce and Jay-Z are known to keep their family life private, the brief but beautiful footage of the three children was a special treat for the Beyhive.
The remainder of the documentary was devoted to the creative team behind the album as they brought their vision to life.
"'The Gift' has been so much more than a celebration of the film 'The Lion King'," Beyonce explained. "To be able to work on a film that is so massive, so iconic, and

Sean Spicer makes his 'Dancing with the Stars' debut in a Neon Green number to EMBARRASSMENT!
Spicer performed a routine in a ruffled neon green shirt to the song "Spice Up Your Life" by the Spice Girls.

Sean Spicer, the former press secretary to President Donald Trump, made his first appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday night.
Spicer appeared with dance partner Lindsay Arnold, wearing a ruffled neon green shirt and doing the salsa to the Spice Girls' "Spice Up Your Life." The routine began with Spicer slapping bongos before being joined on stage by Arnold.

At one point, as Spicer ran down the steps of the "Dancing With The Stars" stage, he waves his arms back and forth wildly, creating an instantly gif-able moment for the internet to seize on.
Spicer and Arnold scored a 12 out of 30 points for their dance routine, the second-lowest score of the night, and the performance was lambasted online.
However, Spicer, who served as press secretary from the beginning of the Trump administration until July of 2017 and was criticized for his treatment of the press, seemed to know he looked silly in a tweet sent out before the performance aired.
In response to a tweet reminding readers that Spicer would be making his "Dancing With The Stars" debut, he wrote: "Trust me, I certainly haven’t forgotten and once you see the outfit I have to wear tonight you won’t forget for quite some time — even after lots of therapy Treat this like looking at an eclipse with a dot poked in a piece of paper."
After the performance, Spicer responded to a tweet from former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, encouraging the show's audience to vote for him.

"Thank you @GovMikeHuckabee Clearly the judges aren’t going to be with me. Let’s send a message to #Hollywood that those of us who stand for #Christ won’t be discounted. May God bless you," Spicer wrote.

Rob Schneider Gets Dragged on Twitter After Defending 'SNL' Outcast, Shane Gillis
Rob Schneider stood up to defend embattled stand-up comic, Shane Gillis, after he was ousted from "Saturday Night Live" over racial slurs ... and people were not happy.
The "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" star took to Twitter on Tuesday to offer support to Gillis after it was announced he would not be joining the new cast of "SNL."

"As a former SNL cast member I am sorry that you had the misfortune of being a cast member during this era of cultural unforgiveness [sic] where comedic misfires are subject to the intolerable inquisition of those who never risked bombing on stage themselves."
As we reported, NBC and Lorne Michaels decided it was not the best decision to let Gillis join the show after an old YouTube video surfaced, where the comic made derogatory slurs against the Asian community.
Fans were not so quick to praise Schneider for speaking up, and let the star have it over social media.
"He said a lot of racist things. Like a lot. So go f--k yourself Deuce Bigalow," one person tweeted in response.

Another wrote, "A whole lot of comedians are finding out they’re not actually funny and they can’t cope."
Others took aim at Schneider's use of his word, "misfire," with comments like, "Racism isn't a misfire. There is no risk in developing "jokes" that denigrate others in this way. He bombed because he was cruel."
Some fans took shots at the star for his constant cameos in Adam Sandler's movies.

"Look guys, Adam Sandler’s shadow has an opinion," one person wrote, while another commented, "Being a drunk racist isn’t comedy and it’s sad you’re both too stupid to know that. I wish Adam Sandler likes you less then we probably wouldn’t have to hear from your dumb ass anymore."
For his part, Gillis initially gave a half-hearted apology, before releasing a statement that he understood the decision by NBC to part ways.

"I’m a comedian who was funny enough to get SNL. That can’t be taken away. Of course I wanted an opportunity to prove myself at SNL, but I understand it would be too much of a distraction,” he wrote. “I respect the decision they made. I’m honestly grateful for the opportunity. I was always a mad tv guy anyway."

NY Giants benched Eli Manning; Now QB Daniel Jones will start going forward!
The New York Giants announced Tuesday that rookie quarterback Daniel Jones will start at quarterback.
The move sends two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning to a backup and mentor role behind the No. 6 overall pick.

"Eli and I spoke this morning," coach Pat Shurmur said Tuesday in a statement. "I told him that we are making a change and going with Daniel as the starter. I also talked to Daniel. Eli was obviously disappointed, as you would expect, but he said he would be what he has always been, a good teammate, and continue to prepare to help this team win games. Daniel understands the challenge at hand, and he will be ready to play on Sunday."

The news came a day after Shurmur opened the door Monday for a possible quarterback change. It didn't take long for Big Blue to make the franchise-altering move.

With the Giants sitting at 0-2 to start the season, it was inevitable the rookie would take the reins. The Jones-era will now begin earlier than many expected, beginning with Sunday's tilt versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jones impressed during preseason action, completing 85.3 percent of his 34 passes for 416 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a 12.2 yards-per-attempt average. Fumbles were an issue for the rookie in the preseason (three, losing two), and in his brief appearance in Week 1. Jones displayed accuracy to all levels of the field during the preseason, an ability to manage the pocket, mobility, and the mental acumen to succeed in the pressure of New York.

Turning to the rookie in Week 3, the Giants hope the first-round quarterback can help lift a listless offense. With a receiver corps missing several key players, Manning's passing attack looked limp through two weeks of the season. In Sunday's home loss to the Buffalo Bills, Manning completed just one of his first seven passes, and finished the game with 250 yards on TD toss and two interceptions.
Beyond bursts from Saquon Barkley, Big Blue's offense has been stuck in the mud. Turning to Jones early could provide a needed spark. At the very least, the rookie should be able to make more happen with his feet, which is something the Giants' offense needs at this stage.

"Ultimately, this is a move that I felt was best for this team at this time," Shurmur said. "I have said it since I got here, I am very fond of Eli. His work ethic, his preparation, his football intelligence. All those attributes are as good as I have ever seen in a player. And Eli worked as hard as you could ask of anybody to get ready for this season. This move is more about Daniel moving forward than about Eli."
It's the second time the Giants have moved Manning to the bench in the past three years. Back in 2017, then-coach Ben McAdoo attempted to move on from an ineffective Manning in the middle of the season, naming Geno Smith the starter, ending Manning's consecutive starts streak. The move lasted just one week before Eli was back under center.

This year's change should be more permanent.

Cardi B Reveals Plans For New Album, Baby, & Tour
Fresh off the $33 million debut of Hustlers at the box office, the rapper-turned-actress went on Instagram Live to give her fans an update on her big plans for 2020, which includes new music, a tour, and even a baby.

The Grammy-winning rapper plans to take the next couple months to work on the follow-up to her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy. “I’ve been in album mode lately,” said Cardi. “I feel like I already got two songs that I definitely want to put on my album.”
After she wraps her sophomore album, she will return to the road on her own headlining tour. “I’m already working on a tour deal. I feel like I have proven myself enough that I sell enough tickets,” she said. “Yeah, Cardi sell shit. You’re lucky I’m not a drug dealer. I take over ni**as’ blocks ’cause Cardi be selling.”
In addition to her busy work schedule, she and Offset want to expand their family. “After my tour, I want to have another kid,” said Kulture’s mother. “And I’m really planning to do all of that in less than a year.”

But first, Cardi will appear alongside Chance the Rapper and T.I. in Netflix’s hip-hop competition series “Rhythm + Flow.” The 10 hour-long episodes will roll out over the course of three weeks starting Oct. 9.

‘The Chi’: Luke James, Lala Anthony, & Lil Rel Howery Join Season 3
“The Chi” may have booted Jason Mitchell, but they’ve scooped Luke James, Lala Anthony and Lil Rel Howery for the third season of the hit Showtime series from Lena Waithe.

Showrunner Ayanna Floyd Davis is also out the door. She will be replaced by “Snowfall” writer Justin Hillian.
You may recall Ayanna blew up Lena’s spot claiming she new about Jason Mitchell’s misconduct since season one and did nothing about it.
When I took the helm in season two, it was Lena who informed me of the issues between Jason Mitchell and Tiffany Boone from season one, and that Tiffany was thinking of leaving the show because of it.

As a result of this information, I discussed Tiffany’s claims with the studio’s HR department and set up HR presentations for the writers, cast and crew. Ultimately, everyone was well aware of Jason’s behavior and his multiple HR cases, including Lena, the creator and an executive producer of the show, who is very involved at the studio and network level.
Welp, there is a new tribe and hopefully a new vibe for “The Chi.”

Pittsburgh Pirates Pitcher Felipe Vazquez Arrested, Charged With Solicitation Of A Child
What in the Pied Piper mess is going on?! Felipe Vazquez, pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates has been arrested and charged with solicitation of a child.

He did not show his face in the videos, but officials were able to match up his distinctive tattoos.
The victim’s mother discovered the texts and videos and responded to Felipe informing him that she is a minor.
It’s unclear if he knew the girl’s age beforehand.
Agents obtained a search warrant and seized several electronic devices from Felipe’s apartment on Tuesday.
Vazquez was arrested and charged with one count of computer pornography – solicitation of a child and one count of providing obscene material to minors.

He’s currently being held at the Allegheny County Jail and is expected to be extradited to Florida.
In a statement, Pittsburgh Pirates team president Frank Coonelly said, “We take this matter, and these charges in particular, extremely seriously.”
