Carrie Fisher To Return As General Leia In Star Wars: Episode IX
Lucasfilm announced that  J.J. Abrams will begin filming Star Wars: Episode IX on August 1st at Pinewood Studios in London. In the announcement, they revealed that two original cast members will be returning for the "final installment of the Skywalker saga," Mark Hamill and the late Carrie Fisher.

They will not use CGI to recreate Fisher's iconic General Leia, instead, they will use unseen footage filmed during Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The role of Leia Organa will once again be played by Carrie Fisher, using previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. “We desperately loved Carrie Fisher,” says Abrams. “Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us. We were never going to recast, or use a CG character. With the support and blessing from her daughter, Billie, we have found a way to honor Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX by using unseen footage we shot together in Episode VII.”

Fisher died in December 2016, and fans started speculating what this would mean for the final film in the latest Star Wars trilogy. Her character, General Leia played a pivotal role in the second film of the trilogy, The Last Jedi and appeared to be set up to be a major part of the final movie. Some fans wondered if they would use CGI to recreate her, though Disney said they had no intention of doing so.

Star Wars: Episode IX is set to hit theaters in December 2019.

Duane Martin Seeks Spousal Support in Divorce from Tisha Campbell-Martin
Duane Martin and his estranged wife Tisha Campbell-Martin are in for a battle over spousal support.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Duane is asking the court to award him support as he and Tisha move to end their 21-year marriage.

This runs counter to Tisha’s original divorce complaint filed in February, where she asked the court to award her spousal support. Both sides are good with joint custody of the couple’s two children: Ezekiel, 8, and Xen, 16.
As part of her complaint, Tisha accused Duane of hiding and misappropriating money. In his response, Duane describes the allegations as “patently false.”

Since splitting, the couple has been accused of hiding $50,000 from the trustee in their bankruptcy, who demanded they both be sanctioned.

Gay Married Couple was told change youir seats for a Heterosexual couple or GET OFF the flight on Alaska Airlines!
The owner of the iconic West Hollywood gay bar The Abbey claims he was discriminated against aboard an Alaska Airlines flight for being gay.

David Cooley wrote a lengthy Facebook post about his experience on a flight from New York to Los Angeles on Sunday. He says that he and his partner were in their seats before the flight when they “were approached by the flight attendant and my companion was asked to move from his premium seat to coach, so a couple could sit together.”

Cooley says he explained to the flight attendant that he and his partner were a couple as well and wanted to sit together but the flight attended persisted.

“He was given a choice to either give up the premium seat and move to coach or get off the plane,” Cooley wrote. “We could not bear the feeling of humiliation for an entire cross-country flight and left the plane.”

Cooley added, “I cannot believe that an airline in this day and age would give a straight couple preferential treatment over a gay couple and go so far as to ask us to leave.”

A rep for Alaska Airlines says, “When boarding flight 1407 from JFK to LAX, a couple was mistakenly assigned the same seats as another couple in Premium Class. We reseated one of the guests from Premium class in the main cabin. We are deeply sorry for the situation, and are investigating the details while communicating directly with the guests involved to try and make this right. Alaska Airlines has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, and our employees value inclusion for our guests and each other.”

Les Moonves Remains At Helm As CBS FOR NOW as it Investigates Sexual Misconduct Allegations
CBS' CEO Leslie Moonves will remain at the helm of the media company as the board of directors launches an investigation into allegations that he sexually assaulted several women over decades.

The decision was made after an hours-long board meeting on Monday, just three days after The New Yorker published a detailed report that included the accounts of six women who claim Moonves thwarted their acting careers after rejecting his verbal or physical advances. Some of the alleged assaults date back to the 1980s through the 2000s.

In a statement issued by CBS the company confirmed it is "in the process of selecting outside counsel to conduct an independent investigation."

"No other action was taken on this matter at today's board meeting," it read.
Moonves has responded to questions about the allegation from The New Yorker's Ronan Farrow, writing: "I recognize that there were times decades ago when I may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances. Those were mistakes, and I regret them immensely. But I always understood and respected—and abided by the principle—that 'no' means 'no,' and I have never misused my position to harm or hinder anyone's career."
Moonves' current wife, television personality Julie Chen, addressed the sexual assault accusations against her husband on The Talk, a daytime talk show on which she is a host.

Looking directly into a camera Chen said, "Some of you may be aware of what's been going on in my life the past few days. I issued the one and only statement I will ever make on this topic on Twitter. And I will stand by this statement today, tomorrow, forever."

Chen's Twitter statement was posted on Friday, shortly after Farrow's story was published. In it, she wrote: "Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement."
CBS shares plunged on news of the company's investigation.
Moonves has headed CBS Corporation since 2016.

On Monday the CBS board decided to postpone the company's 2018 annual stockholder meeting that was scheduled to be held on August 10. A new date has not been announced

Carole Radziwill Allegedly Fired from #RHoNY over Bethenny Frankel's Ultimatum
After Carole Radziwill's shock departure from The Real Housewives of New York City only days after the reunion taping and before the season had even finished airing, rumours emerged claiming she had quit the show due to her feud with former BFF Bethenny but now there's more to the story: Carole was actually fired because of it.

In Housewives land, hardly anyone leaves at their own accord. Most fired cast members release a statement saying "they are going in a different direction" when the next season begins filming and they are no longer apart of it, so it's weird that Carole announced her depature while the show is still airing but it's likely because something went wrong for her behind-the-scenes.
According to Shira's Got The Scoop, celebrity gossip columnist Rob Shuter confirmed that Carole was in fact fired from the show. He shared:

“Carole was fired. Bethenny is great TV, but bad on a personal level.”
Rob has strong connections to the RHONY production and knew tea about the reunion and that Carole wasn't returning before her official statement went public, so he is a somewhat reliable source when it comes to this tea.

Rob also confirmed to Shira's Got The Scoop, that Bethenny did in fact give the producers an ultimatum saying it was either her of Carole for season 11. Obviously they chose Bethenny. The Skinnygirl mogul is the unofficial Queen Bee of New York Housewives and has a strong hold with production. She isn't the one casting the show each season, but she has enough power to threaten to quit if they don't drop someone else. Much like Lisa Vanderpump with Brandi Glanville.

This isn't very hard to believe. All the less dominant players on the show that have crossed Bethenny are no longer there: Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson, Jules Wainstein and now Carole. Bethenny has had a feud with literally every member of the cast in some degree and the only reason why Ramona, Luann, Sonja and Dorinda are still around is because they are vital to the show's success and not as disposable as the other ladies who have been let go. Is Mugshot Mortimer next?

What do you think?

Comedienne LOVE Mo’Nique tells fans to forgive Roseanne
Two famous comediennes are stuck in the “sunken place,” and one of them is asking fans to forgive the other for her public pronouncements.
Embattled entertainer Mo’Nique is admonishing the public to resist the urge to stone Roseanne Barr because of her recent sociopolitical transgressions. The 48-year-old Oscar winning actress (Precious) defended “her sister in comedy” Barr, who lost her record-breaking ABC “Roseanne” reboot after calling former President Barack Obama’s senior advisor Valerie Jarrett an “ape” in a tweet in May.

Mo’Nique said a person’s life and career should not be destroyed for a single mistake.

“We’ve all said and done things baby that we wish we could take back and swallow and say, ‘Oh.’ But when you’re in the public eye, you can’t and it’s out there,” Mo’Nique told KTLA. “But to put the title of ‘racist’ on her…”

“My sister made a mistake and she said something I know she wishes she could take back. But what I would ask is we don’t throw her away.”
As most of pop culture knows by now, Barr likened Jarrett to a primate, saying she looked like the  “Muslim Brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby” as a way to disparage the Obama White House during its terse negotiations with nations in the Middle East. Roseanne, not coincidentally, is a staunch Donald Trump supporter and even based a few episodes of her defunct show on the 45th president’s policies and philosophy.

Barr futilely tried to scrap together an apology to salvage her show, but to no avail. ABC honchos, of course, immediately cancelled “Roseanne” and have scheduled a show about her fictional family, the Conners, for this fall but without Roseanne’s participation.

Roseanne stepped in mess again this past week during an interview for her YouTube page, in which she claims that she thought Jarrett was white.
“I thought the bitch was White!” the disheveled and disgraced comedian roared into the camera. “Goddamnit, I thought the bitch was White. F—!”

Monique said she is showing Barr the same kind of love that Roseanne did for her back when her ’90s’ hit show was on the air:
“I remember when I had the ‘Mo’Nique Show,’ and there were big, major black superstar talent that had white representatives and they told their talent, ‘That show is too black and we really don’t want you to go on there,’“ Mo’Nique said. “But there was a white woman named Roseanne Barr that showed up for me. … And they didn’t hear the conversation when the cameras wasn’t rolling. … That woman was giving me some beautiful words.”

Barr makes forgiveness hard on fans as she keeps fumbling the ball, as she did on Fox News’ “Sean Hannity Show” on Thursday and issued yet another apology but then immediately slammed Jarrett’s appearance.
“I’m so sorry that you thought I was racist and that you thought my tweet was racist, because it wasn’t. It was political,” Barr told Hannity, addressing Jarrett.

She continued: “Plus I’d tell her she’s gotta get a new haircut, I mean seriously, she needs a new haircut.”

AND FINALLY FROM “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
‘THE GOAT CARRIER’
Honestly, I’ve been staring at this for like 20 minutes trying to think of a great caption, but I don’t think there is one out there that would do this picture of a damn goat in a baby carrier any justice. Sometimes a picture might be worth more than 1,000 words.

HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL!
