#RHoA: What Does Porsha Williams Really Think of Kim Zolciak-Biermann?
She's back! Kim Zolciak-Biermann is slated to make a cameo on The Real Housewives of Atlanta later this season when she pops up at a housewarming party hosted by Shereé Whitfield. And while we already know that things are going to get feisty between her and Kenya Moore, another ATL pal took the Don't Be Tardy mom's invitation in stride.

Porsha Williams was pretty entertained by getting the chance to hang with Kim. "She's a big personality; she really is," Porsha told The Daily Dish. "I ran into one time at upfronts for Bravo, but this was my first time being around her for an extended period of time. I just love her."

And Porsha totally appreciated Kim not holding back one ounce of sass during the party. She added, "She is so funny. She just tells it like it is. She was refreshing. She was very funny and she came at people hard."

Shereé Whitfield Explains How She Was Able to Bury Her Drama with Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Porsha also found some common ground with the RHOA alum. "You know that's always interesting to see because I've had run-ins with some of the girls and some of the girls I'm back cool with, and I know that Kim has also had some situations with some of the girls," she said. "So it's interesting to see some people just be fake and they just be like, 'Hey,' and they don't really even like you. So it's good to see that it happens to her too."

#NEWMUSIC from Mary J. Blige – Love Yourself ft. Kanye West
After a week of promos for her forthcoming album Strength of A Woman (dropped the tracklist and interviews on Hot 97 and The Breakfast Club), Mary J. Blige’s highly-anticipated collab with Kanye West has finally surfaced!

The song features epic horns and the boom-bap of classic hip-hop drums for a certified head-nodder. The song’s concept is that of the cliché-but-true phrase that states in order to love someone else, you must first love and respect yourself.

“You gotta love yoself, if you really wanna be with someone else / You gotta feed yoself, before you feed somebody else / You gotta stay open, don’t be foolish / Cause everybody don’t mean you well,” she sings on the hook.

These lyrics are surely inspired by her current, drama-filled divorce. Strength of A Woman will arrive on April 28th.

#NEWHIPHOPMUSIC: Mack Wilds – ‘Explore’
Return of the Mack. In between starring in “The Breaks” and “Shots Fired,” the multifaceted actor/singer has been crafting his latest album AfterHours and now he unleashes the first single, “Explore.”

Produced by Blak and written by Cam Wallace, the heartfelt R&B slow jam allows Mack to dig deep into a break-up with his smooth crooning. “She don’t want to hurt no more,” he sings. “She said she wanna go explore / They sayin’ love is a battlefield, I’m lost in the war.”
Due April 7, AfterHours is set to feature Wale (“Bonnie & Clyde”), Tink (“Senses”), and Wallace (“Vibes”), plus contributions from DJ Camper, Key Wane, Deputy, The Mekanics, D’Mile, and Kevin Garrett.

Mack announced the project with a short trailer, which hints towards a forthcoming visual. IMDB lists “AfterHours” as an upcoming “television series” featuring Mack along with Julito McCullum, a fellow “Wire” alum. The series only has one episode, titled “Obsession,” which is also the title of a song off AfterHours. Its air date is set for April 10.

Aside from AfterHours, Tristan “Mack” Wilds is staying busy as an actor on the hip-hop-inspired VH1 series, “The Breaks,” which also stars Wood Harris and Method Man. Wilds also appears on FOX’s new crime drama “Shots Fired” along with Sanaa Lathan and Helen Hunt.

#NCAA IT'S SET! Gonzaga And North Carolina To Face Off In NCAA Basketball Final
“It’s a dream to get (to the championship),” North Carolina coach Roy Williams told reporters.

April 1 (Reuters) - Top-seeded teams Gonzaga and North Carolina prevailed in a pair of thrilling finishes on Saturday to advance to the final of the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament.
Gonzaga squandered a 14-point, second-half lead before holding on to edge South Carolina 77-73, while North Carolina grabbed an offensive rebound after missing two free throws in the final seconds to beat Oregon 77-76.

Gonzaga advanced to their first NCAA tournament final, which will be held on Monday, while North Carolina are trying to make amends for losing last year’s championship on a buzz-beater by Villanova.
“It’s a dream to get (to the championship),” North Carolina coach Roy Williams told reporters.

“Now we’ve got to play better but (Gonzaga) has been fantastic all year long. They only lost one game.
North Carolina senior Kennedy Meeks delivered 25 points and 14 rebounds, including the final one that preserved their lead, as the Tar Heels held off an Oregon fightback from seven points down with just over three minutes remaining.
“Oregon did a great job of fighting back, Meeks said. “It’s a great opportunity (to get back to the final). As long as we stick together I think we’ll be fine.”

In the earlier game, Gonzaga was led by point guard Nigel Williams-Goss who finished with 23 points, five rebounds and six assists. South Carolina had a chance to tie the game while trailling 75-72 and taking possession with 12.7 seconds left but they did not get a shot away and following Gonzaga coach Mark Few’s instructions, guard Josh Perkins committed a foul with 3.5 seconds remaining, sending Sindarius Thornwell to the line.
Thornwell made one to bring the score to 75-73 before Gonzaga’s Killian Tillie grabbed the defensive rebound and was fouled. Tillie made two free throws with two seconds remaining to ensure victory.

“Man, just an awesome, awesome basketball game, with just how hard both teams competed,” Gonzaga’s Few said.
“I mean, that run South Carolina made on us, that just shows the heart of a lion that they have. It took everything we had to hold them off and come back.”

Beyonce to be the Voice of Nala in ‘Lion King’ Remake
Sources say Beyonce is director Jon Favreau’s top choice to voice Nala in the upcoming remake.
Insiders stress that the Grammy winner has not made a decision regarding the film yet, as the star is pregnant with twins. But since it’s a voice-acting role, sources say the studio and director will do whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule. The songstress announced her pregnancy in early February and dropped out as a Coachella headliner by month’s end. Lady Gaga will replace the “Single Ladies” singer at the desert music and arts festival next month.

Donald Glover is on board to voice Simba and James Earl Jones is reprising his role as Simba’s father, Mufasa.
Favreau is directing with Jeff Nathanson writing. The film is being fast-tracked, even as Favreau begins development on his sequel to the recent hit “The Jungle Book.”

“Lion King” was originally released in 1994 and is one of the highest-grossing animated films of all time, ultimately hauling $968.5 million worldwide.
The studio’s emphasis on live-action adaptations follows the successes of “Alice in Wonderland” (2010), “Maleficent” (2014), “Cinderella” (2015), and, most recently, “Beauty and the Beast.”

This would mark Beyonce’s first film role since lending her voice to the Fox animated film”Epic.” Her other major movie credits include the 2009 thriller “Obsessed,” 2006 movie musical “Dreamgirls,” and 2002 Mike Myers comedy “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”

MAJOR DRAMA! Drama: Zola Mashariki To Sue Over Firing Speculation; Stephen Hill Fired For HR Complaints
This transition of leadership currently taking place at BET is turning out to be a lot more interesting as new details and developments arise. Days after the news of Stephen Hill stepping down as President of Programming,  it seems that there’s a lot more to this management  shake up, a lot more than what we see on the surface.
In addition to the news of Hill’s departure from BET, Debra Lee also mentioned that Zola Mashariki would be stepping down as well. Apparently this was also news to Mashariki as well. Sources refuted this news, claiming that she was still under contract.

Things are getting messy up at BET. Zola received this news while currently on medical leave undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

via Page Six: “Debra wanted it to be perceived that the transition was a part of Viacom’s restructure, so she included Mashariki in the exit story in an effort to protect Stephen, who was ousted. [Viacom] wanted him out,” a source said.

Hill, president of programming, was employed at BET for 18 years. Mashariki took medical leave earlier this year and was baffled to read she was stepping down from her role as EVP head of original programming. “She was receiving calls and she had no idea what people were talking about because she never accepted any kind of deal nor was she told to leave,” the source said.
A network insider, however, insisted Mashariki was fired before taking medical leave. “She was terminated as a result of her own performance prior to taking medical leave. They then allowed her to keep her contract, so she was able to keep her salary and benefits after being diagnosed. She is definitely terminated,” the insider said.

Mashariki has responded to this story with  memo of her own. She reassures BET staff that as she still under contract, her intentions are for her to return work soon.
“I heard yesterday that Stephen was leaving BET. I’m concerned that there was a reference to me, as Stephen’s departure is a separate issue from my status at the company. Here are the facts: I am on medical leave. My job is protected by the Family Medical Leave Act and related statutes (FMLA) and I have a contract in place. Viacom/BET are aware that I am scheduled to return on April 11 and that my medical leave may need to be extended depending on the progress of my recovery,” she wrote. “Bob Bakish has said our company values should be honesty, empathy and bravery. I agree with this wholeheartedly and our team has embodied this over the 2 years we have worked together. Without question, including me in Stephen’s departure announcement is not in keeping with those values. I am continuing to focus on improving my health. I have faith in the Viacom/BET leadership and know they will fix this. I have a long history in Hollywood and am grateful for the outpouring of support I have received across the entire industry during this difficult time. Our Original Programming team has accomplished a lot in a short time and the filmmakers and community are excited to work with us again. There is so much more to do.”

This is where situation get messy.

Apparently Debra Lee is mortified and embarrassed about how all of this is going down. Sources claim that Lee’s days at BET were “numbered”, as she was gunning for position in former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s camp. However, since she didn’t win, that kind of ruined plans for Lee.
“Debra’s really embarrassed and was like it would make her look bad if they put out a retraction. They even told Zola’s lawyer, ‘What if we offered her a dream exit package to save face because it’s going to be hard to get Debra to put out a new statement. Can we find a middle ground?’”

As for Stephen Hill’s departure, it turns out that it wasn’t on the best of terms. Hill was a HR nightmare it seems. His meddling in Mashariki’s medical files is what led to his firing.

Insiders at BET maintain Mashariki was let go because of performance issues that predated her claims of discrimination and retaliation — as well as her notification to Viacom of her need for medical leave. Viacom is said to have conducted what a comprehensive investigation into Mashariki’s claims and found no evidence to support them.
As for Hill’s dismissal, sources note Viacom was notified that he may have attempted to access Mashariki’s medical files and questioned the validity of her breast cancer diagnosis — and purportedly addressed the matter in a staff meeting. The matter escalated to Bakish, who made the decision to dismiss Hill from his post as president of programming.

This was said of Stephen Hill. “Apparently, Stephen had many HR issues and pending lawsuits — from harassment to creating a hostile work environment to garden variety discrimination and intimidation complaints. Tons of complainants against him.”

BET get it together because this is a horrible look

STILL A DO GOODER! Lebron James Designs Sneakers For Disabled Athletes
NBA superstar King James is paving the way for disabled athletes to pursue their dreams in sports, in the best possible way.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star teamed up with Nike to design a shoe for disabled athletes. The shoes are versatile and can easily be slipped on or off. The Lebron Solider 10 FlyEase is a replica of the signature shoe James wore, but it has no laces and can be secured with Velcro straps and zippers.
“It’s about us empowering every kid and everybody to understand we are all athletes”, James said.
Nike designer Tobie Hatfield, believes the shoe is designed perfectly to eliminate the struggle most kids endure while putting on their shoes. “One of the key learnings we’ve had in crafting accessible footwear is the importance of easy entry and exit of the shoe, not just simplifying its fastening system.”

Via Fox News: James added, “Sports should never be taken away from a kid. It creates fun. It creates laughter. It creates brotherhood or sisterhood. To be able to have shoes that are easy to get on and off gives kids another opportunity to live out their dreams.”

James was able to present his new stylish shoes to kids as he hosted the, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation. Whether your a King James fan or not, you can’t deny his hustle on and off the court.
