#RHoA: Nene Leakes tells us Is a Crop Top OK for ladies Over 40?
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta favorite and current Broadway star Nene Leakes has popped up as a voice for body positivity with the latest post on her website The Fab Gab. The article asks the question: “Is a crop top okay over 40?” The answer is a resounding yes — as long as you want to wear it. Unfortunately, her fans aren’t quite as enthusiastic.
The article addresses the debate around women of a certain age showing off some skin. “Some might say it’s OK. Some might say it’s not OK. Some might say it’s OK as long as you don’t show your belly button. We say, if you’ve got the body, flaunt that midriff like there’s no tomorrow,” writes Molly Anderson. Anderson takes the argument a step further, reminding readers that — let me get corny for a moment — the only necessary accessory is confidence.
#EMPIRE: 'Empire' Recap: What Happens in Vegas Might Not Stay in Vegas
On Empire, Lucious had fallen ill and was bedridden. Although Andre had hoped to get the board to vote on his Las Vegas deal without his dear old dad there, Lucious brought the meeting to his bedroom. Andre was certainly surprised to see the entire board there but, fortunately, he was able to hand out some proposal packets and the board was very excited about this Las Vegas idea.
However, Lucious was pretty mad at his son for his insubordination and he fired Andre on the spot. It turned out, Lucious didn’t know that he needed a second from the board to fire someone and no one volunteered. With the Las Vegas deal now in full swing, Lucious eventually made it out of his bedridden state and went to celebrate Angelo’s political win. Unfortunately, that’s when someone from his sordid past stopped by. Giuliana interrupted his piano playing to ask, “Why don’t you play the song you wrote for me, Lucious?”
With Giuliana being at the center of Andre’s Las Vegas deal, the revealed history she had with Lucious suggested that whatever happened in Vegas, might be revealed next week.
#NewMusicVideo: Sammie – Better
The R&B singer has returned with the second video off his stellar I’m Him EP, which he released last fall.
In the sleek visuals, Sammie pitches his campaign to a new love interest, whom he promises will be treated better by a better man, like himself.
“Let me ask ya / When is the last time you smiled? / When is the last time you got dressed up nice? / When is the last time he sexed you? / When is the last time you didn’t have to repeat yourself twice?,” he sings over the slinky production.
Wearing a blazer in one shot and an army shirt in another, Sammie kicks game to his sexy co-star. Later, he sits shirtless on bed in front of her, while continuing to his pledge to give her everything.

#HIPHOPNEWS: Nas Confirms New Album for 2017
It’s been five years since Nas dropped Life Is Good, but fans won’t have to wait much longer for his next project.
In an interview with Billboard, the New York legend confirmed that his yet-to-be-named 11th album is due this year “for sure.”
Last year, Nasty Nas teased his forthcoming LP on “Nas Album Done,” a song off DJ Khaled’s Major Key. However, he says that title wasn’t entirely accurate. “It’s not done ’til it hits the streets,” he explained.
But prior to releasing the follow-up to Life Is Good, the Mass Appeal boss says fans should expect a surprise or two. “We might do a single but we might do something different,” he said.
Nas revealed that he’s adding the album’s finishing touches at the new WeWork-built Mass Appeal headquarters in New York City, where he recently built a new studio space.
Aside from working on his own material, Nas also recently collaborated with Mass Appeal’s Fashawn in the new lab. It’s unclear whether that collaboration was for his next project or Fashawn’s follow-up to 2015’s The Ecology.
In the meantime, Nas is holding fans over with new music. “Angel Dust,” a track from the second season of Netflix’s The Get Down, can be heard here.
Beyond music, Nas is also working on the pilot for his BET series, “Street Dreams.” Plus, he’s signed on to play Raymond “Sunset” Green in Monster, which also features Jennifer Hudson and A$AP Rocky, according to IMDB. Esco is also the film’s executive producer.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Are coming OUT OF THE CLOSET and making it Official!
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are done keeping quiet. Discreetly dating since 2013, the stars are finally ready to "go public" with their romance, a source close to the duo reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
Though they've been exclusive for years, explains the source, Holmes, 38, "used to be super worried about public attention." So much so, that Foxx, 49 (he lives in L.A.), and Holmes (she splits her time between L.A. and NYC with daughter Suri, 10) have dodged paparazzi with elaborately planned meetings. Among them: a jaunt to Miami for New Year's 2017 and a private Mexico getaway for Holmes' birthday in December.
"To make it impossible to get photo evidence that they are together, they traveled in cars with tinted windows and took secret back elevators," shares a second insider. "They had it down to a science."
It proved to be exhausting. Now says the first source, "Katie is tired of playing the hiding game."
On Sunday, April 2, the day before the Oscar-winning entertainer flew to Budapest to film Robin Hood, he and the actress (she was previously married to Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012) dined out in the open at an NYC restaurant.
There's more to come. Notes the pair's pal, "They're going to go out to dinner more and are talking about a trip to Europe."
Charlie Murphy did not tell his ‘Power’ Cast & Crew about his illness!
This news is still devastating to the fans, family and friends. Charlie’s smile and jokes took away some of life burdens. The man was a genius and hell of talented. He will be truly be missed. Thank you Charlie for sharing your gift to the world. RIP…
Please keep Charlie’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
Yesterday according to Charlie’s manager, he died from leukemia Wednesday morning in a NYC hospital. He’d been going undergoing chemotherapy.
According to reports., Charlie Murphy kept his battle with leukemia so private, most people who worked with him on “Power” had no idea he was sick.
Production sources on the show — which stars 50 Cent — tell us they had no idea Charlie was dealing with cancer. We’re told he never told anybody on set and put in the work like everybody else.
Charlie played a prison guard named Marshal Williams on the show.
Family sources tell us Charlie only disclosed his cancer battle to very close friends and family members. We’re told he said he didn’t want his illness to define him.
And, we’re told, even the family members who knew he was struggling were shocked when he died … they didn’t know the situation was that desperate.
Stevie Wonder Plans For Jamaica Wedding
Third time’s a charm for Stevie Wonder, who is planning to tie the knot for the third, and hopefully last, time.
The 67-year-old music icon is currently planning to wed 42-year-old Tomeeka Bracy, his girlfriend and mother of his two youngest children. Sources say the ceremony will be a star-studded event in Jamaica.
The wedding is reportedly scheduled for June 17. Stevie’s seven older children (from previous relationships) will take on the roles of bridesmaids and groom’s men.
Stevie and Tomeeka began dating after he split from his wife, Kai Millard Morris, in 2012. They share two sons. Prior to that, Stevie was briefly married to singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972.
Tomeeka gave birth to her and Stevie’s second child in 2014, despite his divorce from Kai Millard Morris not being finalized until 2015. Regardless, sources say THIS wedding will be one for the books.
“The guest list is pretty spectacular, and there will be a couple of surprise performances on the night,” the source says. “There will be a huge party afterward as well, and the whole day will be about love, laughter, and family.”
There will also be special guest performances. Stevie will also take the stage to perform at the wedding, but has not revealed which song he will be singing.
Survivor's Jeff Varner Apologizes For Outing Zeke Smith in the 'Worst Decision of His Life' and Zeke SPEAKS OUT!
Jeff Varner has broken his silence following a controversial episode of Survivor in which he outed fellow contestant Zeke Smith as transgender during a tribal council.
He took to Instagram to apologize to Zeke in a written statement.
“Yep. I did that. And I offer my deepest, most heart-felt apologies to Zeke Smith, his friends and life allies, his family and to all those who my mistake hurt and offended,” Jeff wrote. “I recklessly revealed something I mistakenly believed everyone already knew. I was wrong and make no excuses for it. I own responsibility in what is the worst decision of my life.”
“Let me be clear, outing someone is assault,” he continued. “It robs a strong, courageous person of their power and protection and opens them up to discrimination and danger. It can leave scars that haunt for a lifetime. I am profoundly sorry. Zeke is a wonderful man and I will forever be amazed and inspired by his forgiveness and compassion. I thank God for that and the gift of being an example as to why you should never do what I did.” In the meantime Zeke Reacts to Emotional 'Survivor' Episode Where He's Outed as Transgender
Zeke Smith took to Instagram after the latest episode of Survivor: Game Changers to discuss being outed as transgender by a fellow contestant.
The contestant on the show – who lives in Brooklyn, New York and works as an asset manager – took to his Instagram account to speak about the experience.
“I cannot adequately express how touched and honored I am for the overwhelming love and support I’ve received tonight. It’s been a long nine months awaiting this night. I couldn’t have made it through the journey without Nick Adams, Director of @glaad ‘s Transgender Media Program. He’s been a guide, mentor, and friend over these tumultuous months. I love you, Nick!” Zeke wrote.

‘A Peek Inside’
It’s kind of like how supermarkets package their meat in saran wrap so you can see what you’re buying. Not saying I’d buy this even if it were a manager’s special with reduced pricing, I”m just saying it’s like that.
