Cam Newton Covers GQ – Talks His Versace Pants, Football & Race In America
Cam Newton poses in Gucci, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and many other designer threads, as he rocks a cover shoot for GQ‘s September issue.
During his interview with the publication, the Carolina Panthers star quarterback talks his zebra print Versace pants that made headlines earlier this year, whether he would allow his son, Chosen, to play football and race in America.
On if he would allow his son to play football being that a lot of parents aren’t allowing their kids to play the sport anymore, he says: “Of course. Why wouldn’t they let them play football?”
“But they don’t talk about the joy it brings! Super Bowl Sunday trumps every TV rating known to man,” says Cam.
When asked if he felt football fans are racist toward him, he responded:
“It’s not racism. Everybody’s entitled to their own opinion.”
So if it’s not that, what is it, do you think? – GQ.
“I’ll let you be the judge,” replies Cam. “I don’t look at it like that. I look at it like some people have certain beliefs, and I have my own belief, and we can agree to disagree on certain things. But this is what makes sports so amazing, that we can start a discussion around a table, in the newspaper, in the magazines, that will get people’s attention. And that’s what sports does.”
Then, when asked about the comment – “I’m an African-American quarterback that may scare a lot of people because they haven’t seen nothing that they can compare me to.” – that he made right before the Super Bowl in January, Cam stated:
“I don’t want this to be about race, because it’s not. It’s not. Like, we’re beyond that. As a nation… Yeah. I mean, you bring it to people’s attention. But after that, that’s it.”
After rockin’ the Versace pants on Super Bowl Sunday, they sold out almost immediately, and Cam was even told they made more. “I heard that’s unheard of,” he says proudly.

R.H.o.A: Kenya Moore's Ex Matt Jordan Accuses #RHOA Star of 'Manipulating' Him For TV After Canceled Flight Reservations
Matt Jordan unleashed on Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty, Kenya Moore, yesterday — the personal trainer’s hot pursuit towards renewed romance, stopped dead in it’s tracks.
A flight to North Carolina turned into high drama on social media Saturday, after a slammed to a halt airport dash.

Kenya and RHOA player, Todd Tucker, hosted the grand opening of Bar One, in Charlotte last night — the black tie event celebrating Peter Thomas’ latest club venture. The soon to be ex-husband of Cynthia Bailey invited the Bravolebs to promote the club, and evidently Kenya was bringing Matt as her plus-one.
It appears that Kenya abruptly canceled Matt’s flight, possibly due to his tardy airport arrival. A grounded Matt launched into a rant, blasting his credit card carrying lover, while defending himself in the face of past social media criticism. Matt posted a since deleted video, where he shared his tale of left-behind woe.
Matt’s since deleted IG video post captioned, “Wasted gas driving down here running through the terminal only to find out my ticket was cancelled last minute by yours truly and then when I break something or yell or act in an aggressive manner yall wonder why! I get upset and yall say why am I bashing her online?? #mattjordan #funnystyle.
Matt then posted a screenshot of a $20 deposit, sent by Kenya to reimburse him for his “wasted gas,” expended to arrive late for his flight. “Thanks kenya for the gas money I really appreciate you you’re such a nice person. What about reimbursement for all the other times that you f***** me over. And then sit back and act like I’m some kind of sick crazy person.”
Later Saturday evening, Matt posted a photo of a skyline, perhaps hinting that he had finally made it to Charlotte. He continued to spout off against Kenya, scolding her for selling out his heart for hot reality TV. “Make no mistakes, it was never about the money just a constant inconvenience that comes from a woman I supposed to have my back!! I wasted a year-and-a-half Running towards a woman that I thought loved me only to find out it was only to make scenes for television. kenya You can try to take the moral High Ground and play passive aggressive for the audience.I get myself in trouble because I’m so passionate and I get so upset when I am mistreated by somebody that was supposed to love and protect me as I have done from day one. The truth will come out it will be evident to everyone. If anyone needed to be protected it was me from you, I’ve been drug for the last year-and-a-half by your manipulation… so yes I’m pissed off.”
Matt kept up the tirade, responding to comments from his followers in a now deleted IG post, “Y’all can pretend like I’m crazy but what would make a man go from defending a women and calling her my queen. To this……?? Every single one of my buttons have been pushed every bit of my patience has been tested!!”

Kenya finally had enough, and fired back her defense, via her own  Instagram page. Kenya hinted that Matt was approaching a dangerous personal boundary. “I get paid well to share my life on TV. But when I care about someone, I protect them even when I may need protection from them. I’m not going to fight on social media. That’s what kids do Love me or hate me, I don’t care if I’m 100 and single I’ll never settle for any man just to say I have one. Ladies: A man can make you a wife, or woman now for that matter, but a man can never validate you.”
Kenya’s careful words point back to Memorial Day weekend, where a heated argument went down between the couple, triggering their initial split. Kenya implied that verbal abuse occurred during the Mexico getaway, and nodded to some sort of physical altercation. Matt denied the allegations.

What do you think of the latest chapter of the Matt and Kenya saga? Reality drama, or the final straw?

Anthony Hamilton Releases “Love is An Angry Thing” Video, Announces Fall Tour
Anthony Hamilton knows a thing or two about the blues. His What I’m Feelin’ album, released earlier this year, is currently making its round on music platforms across the country, and now the soul singer has opted to give the song, “Love is An Angry Thing,” a set of visuals to match.

Directors Everyday LaVan and Roman Montgomery keep the music video fairly simple, showing off Hamilton in his token fedora and an array of jackets and sharp outfits. But make no mistake – it’s deliberate that Hamilton is all alone in “Love is An Angry Thing’s” music video. Whether he’s struggling to find the words to write at home on his couch or trapped in a literal prison of the heart, Hamilton has been hurt by love and just needs to vent about it. “You knocked the wind out of me,” he croons, “And I was good to you!”
In addition to the new video, Hamilton has announced a four week fall tour to promote his latest album, bringing along Lalah Hathaway and Eric Benet as special guests. The tour will make stops in D.C., Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, and more throughout the month of October. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 19th.

DJ Khaled & Nas Shoot ‘Nas Album Done’ Video in Bahamas
DJ Khaled and Nas are up to something. The duo escaped to the Bahamas this week to shoot a video for their Major Key banger, “Nas Album Done.” In between taking in poolside views in paradise, Khaled reflected on the momentous occasion.

“I prayed for times like this,” he wrote on Instagram. “I remember having @nas illmatic poster hung up in my garage with my two turntables and drum machine!! Look at me I’m with @nas Major ๐Ÿ”‘
Khaled also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the visual on Instagram, calling it a “video/film.”

Earlier this month, Esco spoke with Complex about his collab with the Snapchat King. “Khaled hit me up and said that he wanted to do this and we had planned some studio days to sit down and we cleared some studio days just to go over records,” he said. “He knew exactly what he wanted. He had a couple of ideas, but the one we put out, that was the one he really wanted.”

So far, Khaled has unleashed only one video — the Jay Z and Future collab “I Got the Keys” — off Major Key.

NFL denies formally offering Adele the Super Bowl halftime show
The last time the NFL denied a claim made by someone not connected to the league, Donald Trump quickly backed down regarding his claim that the league sent a letter expressing concern about the scheduling of two of the three presidential debates. This time around, it’s unlikely that the person whose version of events the league is disputing will cry “Uncle.”
Adele recently told an audience at one of her shows that the league offered her the Super Bowl halftime gig, and that she declined. The NFL and Pepsi, which undoubtedly pays many millions for the privilege of attaching its name to the event, issued a joint statement denying the claim.

Sort of………“The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele,” the league and the soda giant said, via Billboard.com. “We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time.”

The key words in the carefully-crafted release are these: “Formal offer.” This means that an informal offer was made and rejected, eliminating the need for a formal letter or other communication aimed at reducing the terms to writing with an expectation of a formal acceptance by Adele.

OOOP! Ed Hartwell’s Aunt Calls Keshia Knight-Pulliam a Lying, Sneaky, Over Aged Baby Mama
Ed Hartwell’s aunt has taken to social media blasting his future baby mama, Keshia Knight-Pulliam. As you know, for the past few weeks, Ed and Keshia have been involved in a nasty feud after news hit that they were divorcing after less than a year of marriage. Ed’s haunt, posted and later deleted,
"Nothing happened to your sneaky ass. All of a sudden you cook up this story of Ed doing and saying horrible things to you and trying to cause a miscarriage. Why the f*ck were you on TV doing interviews and all this extra stuff if that was the case and not one mention of it. Even the day you all slit you said he left the house and called you, not one mention of a foul word or argument between the two of you. I hope they don’t fall for your foolishness. Sound like you didn’t get the sympathy you were dying for from that interview and had to cook up a bs story. Just move on with your life. This relationship was doomed from the jump. Best of luck finding the next man, you should have done right by T, it’s no one’s fault but your own you sat around and waited till 37 to have a failed marriage and become nothing but an old baby mama."

We hear that Ed’s Aunt is responding to reports that the 37-year-old actress has taken legal action, claiming that she fears for her safety and the safety of their unborn child. According to a new report, she claims that the former NFL’er is violent and abusive. She’s accused him of engaging in ‘cruel treatment’ which may affect her pregnancy. Keshia alleges that he has been demeaning toward her and even yells and screams at her. She also says that she feels unsafe because they both own firearms. In short, she wants a judge to order a mental evaluation of him and wants him to stay away from her.
As previously reported, on New Year’s Eve 2015, Keshia became engaged to Ed.They were married in Pulliam’s Atlanta home on January 1, 2016. On July 17, 2016, she announced that she was expecting her first child, a girl, with husband Ed. He filed for divorce on July 25, 2016. Keshia has yet to respond to Ed’s Aunt.
