Kandi Burruss Talk to Jet Magazine about Todd Tucker + Mama Joyce
In the latest issue of JET magazine “RHOA” star Kandi Burruss opens up about how her fiancé helped her become a better businesswoman, her strained relationship with her mother and whether or not she and Todd will actually get married.
Also, Mama Joyce revealed what would need to happen for her to finally accept her daughter’s relationship with her fiancé, television producer Todd Tucker. “I pray that I am wrong. If they are married and it lasts I will be the first to apologize,” she said.

On why her mom disapproves of Todd
"When my mother was younger it was all about getting a man to be a provider. She leans toward a man who is financially more well-off than the dude who is just a good guy." She added, "I've dated guys who are more successful than me, and my mom is like, no matter what he does wrong, you have to work it out."
On how Todd has helped her become a better businesswoman:
"I love that Todd is affectionate and relationship-oriented. But he's also a leader and a planner, and because of his production background he makes me a better businesswoman."
On her work ethic:
"When I speak about anything on camera I want to accomplish it before we finish taping. I am a 'do what I say' person. I want people to know I'm not a [phony]. I hate when people on reality shows mention how they want to do this and that, but you never hear of it again," she added.
On when she and Todd are getting married:
“We are moving forward,” she reveals about her pending nuptials. “I have a date, but I’m not saying.”

Buildings Collapse In Harlem After Massive Explosion
A massive explosion has resulted in the collapse of at least two apartment buildings on the east side of Harlem yesterday. Dozens of NYFD units are on the scene. All Metro-North service is suspended due to possible damage to the elevated tracks and a nearby station.
MTA service on the 4-5-6 subway lines is moving very slowly due to fears of further building collapses from train vibrations. Local television reports that there have been multiple serious injuries. The NYPD bomb squad is on the scene.
8 deaths are now reported and over 69 injured. One of the destroyed buildings was five stories tall and likely had about 30 units. A housing activist just interviewed by CNN says gentrification may be to blame as landlords are slow to do critical repairs because they want longtime tenants out of their buildings.

Christina Milian‘s adorable daughter Violet recently turned 4 years old, and they celebrated the occasion over the weekend, at the Los Angeles Zoo.
Tamar Braxton and her hubby Vincent Herbert, Amber Rose, and Laura Govan all came out with their kids, and Karrueche Tran brought along her niece for the fun.
There was face painting, snow cones, cotton candy and other goodies for everybody to enjoy as they explored the zoo - and the birthday girl and guests were also treated to a big cake decorated with animals, flowers, ladybugs and butterflies.
Christina and Karrueche smiled for the camera with the girls, and the kiddies showed off their face paint in a close-up snap with Karrueche (below). “Rooch love the kids,” she wrote.

Gabourey Sidibe has signed on for a recurring role on Lee Daniels’ Empire. Sidibe joins the all star cast that includes, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. The hip-hop drama will have Sidibe play Becky, the assistant of Howard’s character, Lucious Lyon. The role reunites Sidibe with Daniels who last worked together on Daniels’ Oscar-nominated film, Precious.

Although Rodman’s announced last December that he would visit North Korea with a U.S. team of former NBA players to participate in an exhibition game in the country, the real story came prior to the game when raised eyebrows again he made a statement during a CNN interview implying that Bae’s imprisonment was actually his own fault.
Rodman ultimately fessed up to being drunk at the time of the interview as he apologized for the comment, which struck a nerve with the U.S. Congress, the NBA, and human rights groups.
With a history like that, it’s a safe bet that Rodman won’t be planning any more trips to North Korea
“You know, I don’t want to be a hero. I just wanted to be, just do happy things and do great things in life,” the athlete stated as he vowed to not return to the country. “If you don’t want me to go back there ever again, I won’t go back.”

Bail Set at 1.2M for Mother that Drove Screaming Kids into Florida Ocean
Boy, its hard for a logical person to even fathom where one’s mind would have to be to do what Ebony Wilkerson, 32, did to her own children. The mother of three (now pregnant with a fourth!) appeared in a Volusia County courtroom in Florida
Charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder and child abuse with great harm, Wilkerson is currently in custody with her bail set at $1.2 million.
Prior to placing the full weight of her foot on the accelerator and driving the terrified children into the ocean, this mother had told them to close their eyes and go to sleep, authorities said.
Wilkerson had been stopped two hours prior and questioned for 30-minutes by police, but according to chief Mike Chitwood, she couldn’t be held because she seemed lucid and her children were not in distress.
Authorities said the mother fought off her 9-year-old son who tried to grab the wheel and even tried to fight off rescuers who reached for her screaming children – the youngest of which was 3-years-old.
“The criminal intent was there,” Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson said Friday. “We’re not out for blood, we just want justice,” the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.
Investigators interviewed Wilkerson’s son, and her 10-year-old daughter. “We almost drowned and she did that on purpose,” the girl said. Her brother said their mom was “acting like a lunatic” and “she was going to kill us all dead,” the paper reported.
Wilkerson, a South Carolina resident, had left home with her children last Sunday after reporting to local police that she had been attacked by her husband; and had since been staying with her sister in Florida
Wilkerson’s daughter told investigators that her mom had been talking about Jesus and demons and had been reading the Bible. Wilkerson’s sister, Jessica Harrell, called 911 Tuesday to request that sheriff’s deputies check on her older sister because she was acting crazy.
Authorities have reached out to the children’s father, and expected him in Florida

According to Mashable, When word started spreading of a Daft Punk-Jay Z collaboration track yesterday we didn't bother posting it right away since nothing is ever real and everything turns out to be a viral marketing hoax to promote somebody's new TV show or something. But nope, by now "Computerized" has been vetted and confirmed a real thing, so you can safely listen without feeling like a sucker.
There was another rumor circling yesterday that Kanye West was involved with the production. That rumor turned to be false, and it's a bummer — the one downside of the track is that the production is pretty flat and probably could have been vastly improved with Kanye's help.
Pitchfork notes that the presence of rhyming about his Blackberry probably indicate Jay Z recorded the track before Samsung sponsored his last album "Magna Carta Holy Grail." Pretty crazy that we can use corporate endorsement to carbon-date art these days, eh?

MAYBE? Paula Patton And Robin Thicke May Possibly Reconcile (ALLEGEDLY)
Folks spotted Robin Thicke out and about in NYC without his wedding ring, but that does not mean his marriage to Paula Patton is completely over. Friends of the couple (shown above during happier times) told TMZ that Paula is open to giving Robin another chance.
Sources say Robin and Paula NEVER stopped communicating, however, Paula maintained that she wanted a divorce....at first. Now, Paula's tone has changed and she wants Robin to convince her that they can make the marriage work to her satisfaction.
On an interesting note, friends say Robin's public antics (e.g. singing "Let's Stay Together" in concert) HAVE NOT swayed Paula. She's more impressed by Robin's parenting skills and how he keeps in touch with their son.
At least there's hope.....
"Fast & Furious 7" to Resume Production with the "Goal to Make This One the Best in the Series"
After over three months of mourning, "Fast & Furious 7" will resume production following the death of Paul Walker.
Posting a photo from the set, Vin Diesel wrote on Facebook, "The transition into that Dom state of mind has always been an interesting one… only this time there is added purpose, a collective goal to make this the best one in the series. P.s. The long awaited completion of Seven, begins..."
According to Universal, filming will restart on March 31st after going on hiatus after the star's sudden death in a car crash.
Reports say that Paul's character Brian will be written out of the series using footage shot prior to the accident. "Fast & Furious 7" will hit theaters on April 10, 2015.
