50 Cent: Domestic Violence Charge Dropped In Exchange For Vandalism Plea
Though he faced some serious charges, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson got out of the courtroom with just misdemeanor vandalism on his record
Charged with domestic violence against ex-girlfriend Daphne Narvaez in June, the "Candy Shop" rapper will still be under the scrutiny of the court for awhile.
According to his attorney Scott Leemon, "The agreement called for Mr. Jackson to plead no contest to a single count of misdemeanor vandalism, which deals with the door of the apartment that was damaged and owned by the landlord. All remaining counts, including, the domestic violence charge will be dismissed. He has agreed to perform community service, attend counseling sessions and will be on unsupervised probation for a period of three years."
This is far from his first brush with Johnny law, nor is it his first time on probation. Back in 2005, 50 was placed on two years' probation from an incident where he jumped into the audience after being hit with a water bottle.

Bling, Bling! Ciara Shows Off Her 15 Carat Engagement Ring
Yesterday I told you about The newly engaged Ciara is beyond thrilled after her boyfriend rapper Future (real name Nayvadius D. Wilburn) popped the question. Over the weekend, which happened to fall on Ciara’s birthday, Future proposed in New York City, giving her a serious rock. The 28-year-old singer’s rep told E!:
The ring, which doubled as a special birthday gift, is a beautiful 15-carat emerald cut diamond designed by Avianne & Co.
Monday evening, CiCi (who is close friends with Kim Kardashian who also received a 15 carat ring) shared an up close and personal view of her engagement ring, writing:
Forever My King. #HappiestGirlInTheWorld.
No further information about their big day has yet been shared. This will be the first marriage for both artists.
Penn State To Shell Out Nearly $60M For Sandusky Crimes
The psychological scars involved in child abuse scandals probably are never truly healed, so the best option our country's legal system has devised is to throw money at the situation.
Convicted child abuser and former assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky, just cost the Penn State Nittany Lions a pretty penny and reminded everyone of the heinous acts that shrouded the university's image these past few years.

Penn State said Monday it is paying $59.7 million to 26 young men over claims of child sexual abuse at the hands of former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.
The school said 23 deals are fully signed and three are agreements in principle, but did not disclose the names of the recipients. The school faces six other claims, and the university says it believes some of those do not have merit while others may produce settlements.
University president Rodney Erickson issued a statement calling the announcement a step forward for victims and the school.
"We cannot undo what has been done, but we can and must do everything possible to learn from this and ensure it never happens again at Penn State," said Erickson, who announced the day Sandusky was convicted in June 2012 of 45 criminal counts that Penn State was determined to compensate his victims.
The settlements have been unfolding since mid-August, when attorneys for the accusers began to disclose them. Penn State followed a policy in which it has not been confirming them, waiting instead to announce deals at once.
Harrisburg lawyer Ben Andreozzi, who helped negotiate several of the settlements, said his clients were satisfied.
The case became bigger than football when the national media got involved but the team organization was still greatly affected. As punishment, the NCAA wiped out all of former head coach Joe Paterno's 111 wins as atonement for the scandal. The program's road to recovery has been a shaky one.
They currently have a record of 4-3 in the 2013 season.
Hip Hop Rumors: What Made Wale Delete His Twitter??
Sources are saying D.C. rapper Wale deleted his twitter account again!
A diss song aimed at Wale recently surfaced from a former friend who’s name is Southeast Slim, who attended Virginia State University with Wale. Slim a.k.a. Sace released a song recently titled “Forever Hitter Quitter” in which he detailed how he used to collaborate with Wale back in school and that Wale has never reached out to those who helped him get to the level of fame he is currently at. He also claims that he produced loads of Wale’s early songs under his Hitter Quitter brand.
I’m not sure if this is the real reason why Wale deleted his Twitter account, and Twitter has seen many fans respond providing theories on why Wale deleted his account.
RED CARPET FABULOSITY: Black Girls Rock!
It was a "Girlfriends" reunion on the pink carpet! Jill Marie Jones, Persia White, Tracee Ellis Ross and Golden Brooks looked their usual fab selves as they reunited to present the Shot Caller Award to the show's creator, Mara Brock Akil. Mara also gave a tearful and heartfelt speech in acceptance.
Golden & Jiil--aka Maya and Toni--posed it up and showed that black girls just get better with age.
Persia, who recently starred on "Vampire Diaries", kept it simple and chic in this flowy grey dress.
And Tracee kept it edgy in all black as she posed it up with her good friend Regina King. Both served as hosts of the show.
Mariah Carey hit the stage rocking a midriff baring top and embellished maxi skirt as she presented the Living Legend award to Patti LaBelle.
When Ms. Patti stopped Mariah from walking off stage and asked her to "hold her award", MiMi told her about her arm being "a little weak." Ms. Patti snapped back and told her to hold that ish anyway. Hilar!

Kris Humphries’ Ex-Girlfriend Writing ‘Juicy’ Tell-All Book…
Looks like Kim Kardashian‘s happy engagement is about to end, with the news that some of her darkest secrets could soon come to light in an explosive new tell-all, revealed by Kris Humphries’ ex-girlfriend, Myla Sinanaj.
According to RadarOnline.com, Sinanaj has begun writing a tell-all book about Kardashian that highlights her relationships with Humphries, fiancee Kanye West and ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush.
Sinanaj first wanted to expose Kardashian’s secrets when she was dating Humphries after he talked badly about the 33-year-old reality star. She claimed that Kardashian is a cheater who would often sneak West in her hotel when she was dating Bush.
“The last year and a half have been so insane and Myla really wants the truth of what happened to be out there,” the source explains. “She’s been wanting to do this for a long time.”
I’m not sure if this book will make it to the top, or end up in the dollar store.
He was DENIED to Kappa Alpha Psi for Being Openly Gay?
Some pretty accusations are being hurled by a Morgan State University student, claiming that he was rejected by a fraternity because of his sexuality. The student’s name is Brian Stewart and at first glance, some would think that he would be a perfect fit for KAPPA ALPHA PSI. As an active member at the historically black college, his resume boasts of experience as a former intern for President Obama’s administration. So what’s the issue here? In an interview with Fox 45, he suggests that he was rejected because he is gay and found a series of messages, indicating this. He explained:
I feel hurt. Hurt in the sense that I’m still not good enough.If you don’t agree with how I life my life…that does not give you the right to cast negativity or derogatory slurs on what I do.
He received his denial letter on October 3 and filed a claim against the university and the fraternity. Morgan State University began investigating last week and issued this statement;
The University is aware of the complaint filed. The university has launched an investigation to find facts.
