Laurieann Gibson Says Lady Gaga Can't Dance!
Uh Oh? The Monsters will not like this!
Lady Gaga's former choreographer Laurieann Gibson calls the pop star rhythmically challenged but fearless.
Lady Gaga's former choreographer and creative director Laurieann Gibson has admitted that the star was "rhythmically challenged" in the early stages of her music career.
Gibson, who worked with Gaga on the dancing and visuals for videos including 'Telephone', 'Paparazzi', and 'Alejandro', said that even though the singer "wasn't necessarily a dancer", she was "fearless" in her approach to learning how to dance.
"The most incredible thing about that particular artist was that she was fearless," she told Australian show Mornings.
"Creating something before management, before a record deal... to be able to pull out of someone who wasn't necessarily a dancer and maybe had a limited rhythmic ability...
"To me, everybody is a dancer. It was beautiful to work with someone who was rhythmically challenged because it helped me stretch my ability and come up with all those fantastical ideas."
Gibson and Gaga parted ways in 2011, after Gibson said Gaga was "motivated to take the helm. Lady Gaga’s new CD ‘ARTPOP’ will be release on Nov 11
