Founder and CEO Beverly Bond's BLACK GIRLS ROCK!™ 2012 special is set to tape at the Loews Paradise Theatre October 13 in New York City this year. Airing on BET on November 4, 2012 @ 8:00 pm/ET, the show features heartfelt performances, tributes and special awards to celebrate the achievements of remarkable women of color.
Actresses Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King are returning to co-host this year’s awards show which will honor Grammy Award-winning music legend Dionne Warwick – Living Legend Award; actress Kerry Washington – Star Power Award; magazine editor, writer and journalist Susan Taylor – Inspiration Award; singer-songwriter Alicia Keys – Rock Star Award; and human rights activists and doctors, Dr. Hawa Abdi and her daughters – Social Humanitarian Award.
And there will be performances by Brandy, India.Arie, Keyshia Cole and Ciara.

Grand Mama Cissy to the rescue! Houston Files Court
Bobbi Kristina’s family is concerned about her well being. The 19-year-old budding actress, who is the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and grandaughter Cissy Houston, has had legal documents filed by her grandmother, requesting that the payment schedule to BK be altered. Her grandmother, Cissy, fears that her grandaughter is under the “undue influence” of unsavory people.
According to Radar Online, court documents were filed in Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta
“is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance and/or seek to benefit from respondent’s resources and celebrity.”
The document continues that the late Whitney’s estate’s
“intent to provide long-term financial security and protection for her child. Compliance with the provisions of the trust would defeat or substantially impair the accomplishment of the purposes of the trust, which were to provide for the proper maintenance and comfort of the respondent, and to prevent the wasting of trust assets, as evidenced by the trust’s spend thrift provision”

Word on the internet curb or shall I say MediaTakeOut.com is that Blu Cantrell has released a new track titled "S.O.S." (Tell Me Where You At) which is a diss track aimed at her ex-boyfriend, Jay Z.
Now for those of you who may not remember, Jay Z and Blu Cantrell were seeing each other for a minute before he jumped ship and got with one of the baddest females in the game, Beyonce. And although Blu's new song may not be aimed at her ex-lover, the hook doesn't do anything to dissolve the rumors as it goes like this below:

NFL legend Warren Sapp finally has some financial news he can celebrate — a federal judge just wiped out a giant chunk of his overwhelming debt … by discharging the football star from his bankruptcy case.
TMZ broke the story — Sapp filed for chapter 7 back in April, claiming he owed more than $6.7 million to creditors, but only had $6.45 million in assets … which included 240 Air Jordans, a lion skin rug and a boxing glove signed by Muhammad Ali.

Eazy-E ‘Party Mansion
The late rapper Eazy-E‘s mansion in Calabasas, California was foreclosed on earlier this year. The home used to be called the ‘Playhouse.’
According to TMZ, learned that his widow, Tomica Wright, has allegedly stopped making payments on the home. Eric “Eazy-E” Wright, passed away on March 26, 1995, from AIDS-related pneumonia. Eazy-E’s home was famous back in the early 90′s for crazy, all-night parties. He also had an open door policy for his entourage and of course women. The 6,700 square-foot mansion reportedly even had a black room with fluorescent pillows and a neon sign that read “Eazy’s Playhouse.”
The home is reported by official records as mortgage payments falling behind in 2011 to owe $168,278.78. The home was sold at a foreclosure auction in May 2012 for $2.2 million.
