Kim Zolciak thinks Kenya Moore leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta is for the best.
Zolciak recently spoke with ET’s Brice Sander about her upcoming show, Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, and shared her thoughts on Moore's departure from RHOA and addressed whether she would consider returning to the Bravo show.
"Somebody actually updated me from the Housewives franchise on the situation with Kenya, and you know I've always thought people can, you know, get angry, say stuff, and be mean, but like when your character's so flawed, I feel like Kenya's character is so flawed that I think it's a great decision to have her off the show," Zolciak remarked.
Last month, ET confirmed that the 53-year-old reality TV star will not be returning for season 16 following her suspension by Bravo in early June. Moore was sidelined at the time for alleged drama involving RHOA newcomer Brittany Eady.
In response, a source told ET that she decided to part ways with the franchise, despite previously expressing interest in returning, declaring that she would not be "going anywhere" and receiving support from her longtime castmates and friends.
"Kenya is not returning to RHOA this season. She decided it was best for herself to leave after how she felt the incident was handled and how she was treated," a source shared with ET.
Zolciak went on to discuss the possibility of her own return to RHOA, making it clear that it would take a significant offer for her to consider rejoining the cast. "I think what she did was the lowest of the low of the low, and they don't have enough money to ever bring me back on that show because my sanity and my peace are worth way more," she stated firmly.
However, Zolciak hinted that there might be a slim chance of her return, especially with recent cast changes. "Unless the whole cast, well, now that Kenya's gone, I shouldn't say it like that, but you know, I heard Phaedra [Parks] might be making her way back, and that would be an awesome choice. I might have to consider it with Phaedra because she's so funny and all I do is laugh when I'm around her," she added. Despite this, Zolciak concluded that her return is highly unlikely, saying, "It would just be something I'd have to give some serious thought to, and I'm like 99 percent sure that's a big no."

Evelyn Thomas, the singer who elevated the disco subgenre of hi-NRG, has died at age 70. Thomas’ longtime collaborator, Ian Levine, shared the news on Sunday (July 21) in a lengthy Facebook post. The producer shared a bit about their history together, recalling how he met the star and the woman whom he described as his “protegé.”
Levine revealed that he and another writer had managed to pen one more song for Evelyn Thomas to sing called “Inspirational,” but her “health deteriorated far too fast” for her to sing. As an ode to Thomas, Levin stated that the singer’s daughter, Kimberly, who is an artist named YaYaDiamond, would record the song in her honor. “It is hard for me to accept that my lifelong protege really has left us,” Levine typed. “Her music will outlive us all.”

While videos of frequent Drake collaborator Boi-1da hanging out with the acclaimed rapper and actor initially surfaced, more videos later showed the “6 God” chilling with 50. Drake even posted a picture of him and the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ emcee to his Instagram Story.
This is the first public connection between the two since Drake released “Push Ups,” his first viral diss track in a slowing but ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. Featuring a DJ Whoo Kid drop at the song’s beginning, the Canadian superstar channeled his inner Curtis Jackson for the scathing track.
He even name-dropped the Power Universe creator in the track. “N**gas really got me out here talkin’ like I’m 50, ayy / N**gas really got me out here rappin’ what I’m livin’ / I might take your latest girl and cuff her like I’m Ricky / Can’t believe he jumpin’ in, this nigga turnin’ fifty,” he ribs on the track.
Interestingly enough, this poke at Rick Ross happened before the infamous scuffle at the Miami rapper’s live show in Vancouver on June 30, where Ross’ DJ was bold enough to press play on “Not Like Us” as he walked off the stage. Moviegoers ran toward the tornadoes this weekend, propelling “ Twisters ” to a blockbuster opening. The standalone sequel to the 1996 hit made $80.5 million in ticket sales from 4,151 theaters in North America, according to studio estimates Sunday.
That’s about $30 million more than analysts expected initially, and makes for the biggest opening of a live-action movie yet this summer.
“We had big aspirations for it to begin with, and it certainly exceeded those,” said Jim Orr, who heads distribution for Universal. “We’re seriously over-indexing between coasts which is fun to see as well.”
Its overperformance recalled “ Oppenheimer’s ” debut last year on the same weekend. There are some similiarities: The studio, Universal, and the numbers. But there are also important differences: “Oppenheimer” was 3-hours long, R-rated (“Twisters” is PG-13) and historical, not to mention the collective enthusiasm around its release date companion, “Barbie.”
“ Twisters,” meanwhile, is a franchise. It may not be a direct sequel to “Twister” but it is benefiting from the brand recognition. The original Jan de Bont-directed film starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton was a financial hit at the time and has only become more beloved over the years. This film, directed by Lee Isaac Chung, does not include any of the characters from the original and introduces a new crowd of storm chasers.
The Universal, Warner Bros. and Amblin production cost $155 million to produce and millions more to promote. Part of the push included a country music heavy soundtrack, with a new Luke Combs single “Aint No Love in Oklahoma” which has racked up more than 56 million audio streams. The soundtrack as a whole, featuring the likes of Bailey Zimmerman, Tucker Wetmore, Tanner Adell, Lainey Wilson, Tyler Childers, Thomas Rhett and Miranda Lambert, has over 75 million streams.
Universal also had the No. 2 movie in the country with “Despicable Me 4,” now in its third weekend. It added $23.8 million from North America, where it is still playing in over 4,000 theaters, bringing its domestic total to $259.5 million.
Third place went to another animated juggernaut: Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2,” now in its sixth weekend, and boasting a global total of $1.4 billion. It is quickly closing in on “Frozen 2” to earn the title of the biggest animated movie of all time.
And another force is storming theaters next weekend in “ Deadpool & Wolverine,” which is tracking to open in the $160 million range. That would be enough to unseat “Inside Out 2” for the biggest opening of the year. How it will affect “Twisters” in its second weekend is a big unknown. O’Leary said he believes it’s a plus having compelling movies going head to head.

ActBlue, the Democrat-linked fundraising platform, revealed that by Sunday night, tens of millions had been raised from small donors after Biden tweeted his statement that he was stepping down.
“As of today grassroots supporters have raised $100.00 million through ActBlue following Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign launch,” the ActBlue official X (formerly Twitter) account tweeted. “This has been the biggest fundraising day of the 2024 cycle. Small-dollar donors are fired up and ready to take on this election.”
Sunday it topped $50 million with the New York Times reporting that milestone was crossed, making Sunday the single biggest day for online Democratic contributions since the 2020 election. Additionally, ActBlue crossed the $14 billion milestone, in total donations raised since it was founded in 2004.

Brandon Casey Of Jagged Edge Reveals Hospitalization For Broken Neck, Ribs, And Skull After Car Crash
Brandon Casey of Jagged Edge has revealed that he’s been hospitalized for a series of injuries following a near-fatal car crash.
Casey shared the unsettling news on July 16, via Instagram, that he’s been recovering at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. He not only showed graphic images of his totaled vehicle, but also gave fans a health update and thanked the trauma center’s staff.
“After being in iCU for five days, I kno the legendary Grady Trauma Center is everything it’s said to Be the Best in the country y’all saved my life and I’m forever grateful,” he wrote. “I’m so Thankful to all u ladies who took care of me who have nursed me fed me encouraged me Thankyou from the bottom of my heart the most sincere Thank u I can conjure up.”
In another post he shared how grateful he is to still be alive after surviving the near-fatal accident where he felt he, “probably should be dead.”
“I kno people wanna kno so here it is,” he initially detailed his damages in the post’s caption. “Broken neck 5 broke ribs skull fracture scalp lacerations and a bunch of pain all over my body but ima be good I promise yall God got me it’s like sumthin tryna take me off this planet and God keep tellin em nope not him not yet.”
He then edited the post to read: “I never post these type pictures upon delivering the news that I been hurt cuz the people who really love me don’t play about me. I don’t wanna add to [their] fright of how I may be doin but ima jus post this jus so u kno neither wreck was a fender Bender. I could be probably should be dead. oh except the Big fact that God does protect his Flock.”

The 48-year-old was unfortunately in a prior car accident back in September 2023, where another sports car of his was totaled.

As far as fans’ eyes can tell, Vivica A. Fox has rebounded from a recent blunder of a public outing that left many baffled by her appearance.
As previously reported, the “Two Can Play That Game” actress was barraged by unkind comments when several photos and video clips surfaced of her attending a Las Vegas Aces versus Indiana Fever WNBA game in early July.
Critics were outwardly taken aback by the extra curves she seemed to have acquired on her backside and perceived tweaks to her otherwise flawless face.
Comments such as “Vivica is hilarious…. i wish she knew how beautiful she was and she never needed the knife ever” and “She need to trade that bbl in for a new one” are just a sampling of the remarks picking apart the 59-year-old from head to toe.
But in a new post highlighting Fox’s appearance last week at the NAACP “All In” national convention held in Sin City fans couldn’t spot a single imperfection with this time.
The “First Lady of BMF – The Tonesa Welch Story” film director wore a yellow halter top gown with jewel enhancements, peek-a-boo cleavage, and nearly sheer sides that gave onlookers a glimpse at her slim waist. Her hair was styled in a high, wavy ponytail, and her makeup was a natural glam look.

The brand came under scrutiny recently following the released of their SL72 campaign, which features such stars as Bella Hadid, rapper A$AP Nast and soccer player Jules Koundé.

Now, Adidas is issuing a public apology and they are set to revise the campaign.
“Connections continue to be made to the terrible tragedy that occurred at the Munich Olympics due to our recent SL72 campaign,” the brand shared on its Adidas Originals Instagram story. “These connections are not meant and we apologise for any upset or distress caused to communities around the world.”
“We made an unintentional mistake,” they continued. “We also apologise to our partners, Bella Hadid, A$AP Nast, Jules Koundé, and others, for any negative impact on them and we are revising the campaign.”
The images from the campaign have already been pulled from social media and they previously shared another statement.
“We are conscious that connections have been made to tragic historical events — though these are completely unintentional — and we apologize for any upset or distress caused,” the brand said in a statement shared with USA TODAY Sports. “As a result, we are revising the remainder of the campaign. We believe in sport as a unifying force around the world and will continue our efforts to champion diversity and equality in everything we do.”

Becoming mom and dad to two kids hasn't stopped Rihanna and A$AP Rocky from spending a stylish date night together.
On Saturday, July 20, the pair were photographed leaving the Mercer Hotel in New York City, both sporting sleek, all-black outfits.
Rocky, 35, wore an oversized double-breasted suit with a red tie and dark black sunglasses, while the "Diamonds" musician, 36, stepped out in a long-sleeved button-down top and shredded jeans. She also accessorized her look with dark sunglasses — lined with sparkling diamonds — and lots of diamond jewelry.
Earlier this summer, a source spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about how the couple has been enjoying spending time together at public events, as well as at home with their sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 11 months.
"They have always had a solid friendship, and the romance just enhanced that," a music management source said of the pair, noting that "family comes first" for them.
Another source told PEOPLE in May that the "Love on the Brain" singer "is all about motherhood" and "loves" parenting their children.

A tragic incident unfolded in Humboldt, Tennessee, where a 12-year-old girl has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly suffocating her eight-year-old cousin, Demeria, to death. According to District Attorney General Frederick Agee, the heartbreaking event occurred on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Home security footage obtained by the Humboldt Police Department reportedly shows the preteen using bedding to suffocate her sleeping cousin on the top bunk bed they shared. The video allegedly captures the older girl applying her full body weight to the bedding, covering the younger child’s face, and showing the eight-year-old struggling.
Following the attack, the suspect is seen “cleaning up” and repositioning Demeria’s body, seemingly to make it appear as though she was simply sleeping.
“No words can describe it,” said DA Agee. “It’s unimaginable.”
The tragic discovery was made when Demeria was found unresponsive in her bed at a house on East Mitchell Street. Two days later, a tip led investigators to the surveillance footage that revealed the horrifying details.
A memorial for Demeria has been set up outside her grandmother’s house, featuring balloons in her favorite colors—pink, purple, and pale blue—along with her cherished stuffed animals and bottles of nail polish. Demeria was visiting from Nashville, while her cousin was visiting from South Carolina. Their grandmother told Action News 5 that the two were inseparable.
DA Agee confirmed that the evidence points to first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. “There is video where the 12-year-old goes and gets tissues and papers and tries to clean the eight-year-old’s body and face, and also moves the child to make it appear that she was under the covers,” he explained.
The young suspect is currently being held in Rutherford County, the closest juvenile detention facility to Humboldt. DA Agee plans to ask the judge to transfer her to adult court, considering the severe nature of the crime.
“I consider this to be one of the most disturbing violent acts committed by either an adult or juvenile that my office has prosecuted,” DA Agee stated. He emphasized that under Tennessee law, the juvenile court loses jurisdiction after a juvenile turns 19, meaning the suspect would be free from any further detention, supervision, or court-ordered mental health treatment after that age.
The family and community are grappling with the devastating loss and searching for answers. “We’d ask your viewers to pray for the family and pray for our officers,” DA Agee said. “This is intense. It’s just not something that happens here.”
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court in Trenton on Friday afternoon, where DA Agee will petition for her to be tried as an adult, aiming for a lengthier sentence that includes incarceration or supervision with court-ordered conditions.
