#RHOA: Kenya Moore’s Glowing Pool Looks “Perfect” at Night
Kenya Moore doesn’t have to travel far for a spot of night swimming. As Moore Manor aficionados know, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member finished adding a glamorous pool to her legendary house back in 2021.

Since then, the haircare mogul has shared the occasional post from her private pool, and once revealed that she likes to start her day with a little dip. (More on that later.) But as Kenya’s most recent poolside dispatch proved, her swimming spot looks extra glamorous at night.

In a July 19 Instagram Story, the Atlanta mom shared a glimpse of her pool glowing under the moonlight. “Perfect night for a swim,” she captioned her post. We see no lie.

In the snapshot, the pool and its adjacent hot tub looked impossibly inviting. To boot, the audio featured the mesmerizing sound of water gently lapping in the pool.

Kenya’s picture also shared a glimpse of the illuminated cabanas on her pool deck, which have seating nooks decked with pillows, cushions, and hanging light fixtures. What a night for a Moore Manor swim!

Granted, it took a while to arrive at this idyllic scene. Putting in a pool requires lots of work, and during the installation process, Kenya updated her followers frequently. In fact, she was thrilled to announce one August day in 2020: “Woohoo shotcrete day!”

Kenya and her pool have come a long way since then, baby. Check out the current state of the Moore Manor pool in the snap below.

Some time after the famous “shotcrete day,” RHOA viewers got an update on the pool.

In a Season 13 episode of RHOA, viewers got to hear an update on the project. In the episode, Kenya invited some of the ladies over for cocktails. And as Cynthia Bailey arrived, Kenya took her aside to point out the new pool, which was filled with water. Though late-fall leaves were still on the ground, the former beauty queen was already planning for warmer weather.
Pointing toward the pool area, Kenya told Cynthia: “We’ll have the cabanas; Brooklyn’s little play area will be at the very top.”

By August 2021, the pool was complete. In an Instagram video from that month, Kenya stood happily in her pool and said, “I just wanted to tell you guys to start your day off doing something that you really love to do.”

“I love to swim,” Kenya continued. “I just feel so blessed being able to have a pool, but when I didn’t I would swim at apartment complexes or at friends’ homes.”

#HipHopNews: Sexyy Red Faces Criticism Over Rolling Loud Miami 2023 Entrance

After wrapping up day two on Saturday (July 22), headlines from Rolling Loud Miami continue to surface online, but not for the reasons you might expect. Amid a lineup that featured rap stars like Playboi Carti and Travis Scott, an unexpected name emerged in the online chatter: Sexyy Red.

However, the buzz wasn’t solely about the rapper’s performance of “Pound Town,” bringing out frequent collaborator Sukihana, or her rhinestone-encrusted bra. Her audacious entrance, leading two leashed men to the stage as though they were pets, sparked a firestorm. Many concertgoers labeled the scene “iconic,” while others had mixed reactions.

“J Balvin pulled a similar stunt and faced backlash. Why is she exempt?” asked one social media user in the comments on Rolling Loud’s Instagram. They challenged the apparent double standard among men and women in hip hop. Another commenter drew attention to racial undertones by remarking, “There’s something disturbing about Black men in chains.”

Contrastingly, not all reactions were negative. Supporters defended the performance as performance art. “It’s a show, not reality. Those guys willingly participated and should take pride in their performance,” one defender opined. Another commenter brought kink culture into the conversation by pushing back against the judgment. They added, “Ever heard of a Dominatrix?”

It’s worth noting that this isn’t Red’s first brush with controversy over her live performances or actions. Earlier this year, she and Sukihana were part of NLE Choppa‘s music video for “Slut Me Out (Remix),” in which the rapper walked them like dogs.

The video garnered significant backlash from fans who viewed the act as degrading to women. Speaking on “The Breakfast Club,” Choppa defended his actions. He told Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy, “I’ve watched people degrade women in real life, and I feel like, with me having fun [as a] 20-year-old male… with the girls that wanted me to do it, I feel like what is the conversation really about?”

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Barbenheimer’ tops $235 million in domestic debut, eyes second-highest box office weekend ever
“Barbenheimer” exploded over the weekend, generating an estimated $235.5 million in ticket sales and reinvigorating the domestic box office.

“Barbie” tallied around $155 million during its first three days in theaters, the highest opening of 2023. Its counterpart “Oppenheimer” snared an estimated $80.5 million during its debut. Final numbers for the pair’s debuts will be revealed Monday.

“I don’t think anyone could have reasonably predicted this kind of confluence between ‘Oppenheimer’ and ‘Barbie,’” said Shawn Robbins, chief analyst at BoxOffice.com. “If you’re going to a theater right now, the communal experience is reminiscent of major Marvel and Star Wars films, but without those franchises remotely involved.”

“It was a truly historic weekend and continues the positive box office momentum of 2023,” said Michael O’Leary, president and CEO of the National Association of Theatre Owners. “More importantly, it proves once again that America loves going to the movies to see great films.”

Both films hold a rating of more than 90% “Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes and inspired moviegoers to dress head-to-toe in pink or don suits and hats during their screenings.
“People recognized that something special was happening and they wanted to be a part of it,” O’Leary said. “Our partners in the creative community and at the studios gave audiences two uniquely different, smart and original stories that were meant for the big screen and movie lovers responded by gathering friends and family and heading to their local movie houses across the nation.”

With additional ticket sales from Paramount’s newest “Mission Impossible” film, Sony’s “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” and Angel Studios’ “The Sound of Freedom,” the weekend box office is expected to reach $302 million, the highest of any weekend in 2023, according to data from Comscore.

“The unprecedented performance of these two films, and the boost it gave to the overall movie marketplace, solidified the movie theater as a cultural hub and epicenter of social interaction,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at Comscore.

“Barbenheimer” weekend is currently set to be the fourth-highest weekend haul of all-time, just below the three-day stretch when Disney’s
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” arrived in theaters in December 2015 and helped boost the overall weekend haul to $313 million. The second-highest is $314 million from April 2018′s opening weekend of “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Some box office analysts project that Monday’s official weekend numbers could be quite a bit higher than Sunday’s estimates, and push “Barbenheimer” weekend up the charts. However, they won’t come close to the highest-grossing weekend ever, which occurred in April 2019 when “Avengers: Endgame” hit theaters, drumming up $357 million on its own, and leading to a $402 million overall weekend tally.

The success of “Barbenheimer” comes at a time when the domestic box office has faced some hurdles. A slew of adult-aimed blockbusters have underperformed, leading many in the industry to question if consumer tastes have shifted away from Hollywood.

Warner Bros.′ “The Flash” has fizzled, Pixar’s “Elemental” failed to lure in family audiences and even the return of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones wasn’t enough to pack cinemas.

However, the combination of bombs and blonde bombshells seems to have inspired plenty of moviegoers to leave their couches for the cinema.

“It’s a historic result that showcases the enthusiasm audiences have for a variety of fresh content,” Robbins said. “These films have exquisitely tapped into the cultural zeitgeist. They’ve reignited the summer box office flame, and they’ve proven that studios can be a little more aggressive with counter-programming strategies in the future.”

Elon Musk Says Twitter Will Soon Change Its Logo to ‘X’

Elon Musk said Sunday (July 23) that he plans to change the logo of Twitter to an “X” from the famous blue bird, marking what would be the latest big change since he bought the social media platform for $44 billion last year.

In a series of posts on his Twitter account starting just after 12 a.m. ET, Twitter’s owner said that he’s looking to make the change worldwide as soon as Monday.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” Musk wrote on his account.

The change isn’t surprising given Musk’s long history with the name “X,” says Allen Adamson, co-founder of marketing consultancy Metaforce. The billionaire Tesla CEO tweeted last October that “buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app.

Musk’s rocket company, Space Exploration Technologies Corp., is commonly known as SpaceX. And in 1999, Musk founded a startup called X.com, an online financial services company now known as PayPal.
“Not sure what subtle clues gave it way, but I like the letter X,” Musk tweeted Sunday.
But the change on Twitter was met with sharp criticism on the social media platform.

The change will be very confusing to a huge chunk of the Twitter’s audience, which has been already souring on the social platform given a slew of other major changes Musk has made, Adamson said.

“They won’t get it,” he said. “It’s a fitting end to a phenomenal unwinding of an iconic brand and business.”

Earlier this month, Musk put new curfews on his digital town square, a move that met with sharp criticism that it could drive away more advertisers and undermine its cultural influence as a trendsetter.

The higher tweet-viewing threshold is part of an $8-per-month subscription service that Musk rolled out earlier this year in an attempt to boost Twitter revenue. Revenue has dropped sharply since Musk took over the company and laid off roughly three-fourths of the workforce to slash costs and avoid bankruptcy.

In May, Musk hired longtime NBC Universal executive Linda Yaccarino as Twitter’s CEO.
Luring advertisers is essential for Musk and Twitter after many fled in the early months after his takeover of the social media platform, fearing damage to their brands in the enveloping chaos. Advertisers have cut back on spending partly because of changes Musk has made that has allowed for more hateful content to flourish and that has offended a wider part of the platform’s audience.

Musk said in late April that advertisers had returned, but provided no specifics.k’s move to change Twitter’s logo to an “X” also comes as Twitter faces new competition from Meta’s new app, Threads, launched earlier this month. It has been seen as an alternative for those who have been upset with Twitter.

Threads is being billed as a text-based version of Meta’s photo-sharing app Instagram that the company has said offers “a new, separate space for real-time updates and public conversations.”

In the first five days of its launch, 100 million people had signed up for Threads, according to a post on Threads by Instagram head Adam Mosseri.

Kim Kardashian Plays Scary Mother In First Teaser For 'American Horror Story: Delicate'
Hulu has debuted the first look at FX's "American Horror Story: Delicate". The new teaser for the upcoming new season of the hit horror anthology offers a look at Kim Kardashian as well as "AHS" veteran Emma Roberts and model Cara Delevingne.

Set to an eerie version of "Rock-A-Bye Baby", the 30-second teaser sees Kim ditching her usual glamorous look. Rocking long white locks, the reality TV star is unrecognizable as she sports a ghostly white mug while wearing a pair of unique glasses. In another scene, Kim is seen in a black gown as she cradles a baby.

The haunting teaser also offers a glimpse at Emma and Cara's characters. All of them rock long white locks and creepy white faces. The first-look video additionally features a group of dancers dressed in matching white wigs as they writhe on screen.

"American Horror Story: Delicate" is partly based on Danielle Valentine's thriller novel "Delicate Condition". The 12th season of the FX show follows fictionalized actress Anna Alcott, a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy gushed over Kim as he weighed in on her casting. "Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the 'AHS' family," he told The Hollywood Reporter in April.

"Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done," he added.

Kim herself talked about her involvement on the series when speaking to Variety at the Met Gala in May. "I think it's really fun to step of your comfort zone and try something new and grow, and I'm so excited for the experience," she said.

The cast also includes Michaela Jae Rodriguez as well as Zachary Quinto, who makes a cameo. "I did a cameo on this season of 'American Horror Story' and I got to meet her. She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don't think she needs my advice," Zachary raved over Kim's acting at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of his new film "He Went That Way".

"She seemed really in her element, and I was really impressed by her spirit and her openness," the "Star Trek" actor added. "I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she's gonna do a wonderful job."

'Goonica' Trends After Monica Jumps Off Stage to Confront Man Hitting Woman

Monica is reminding the music world why her fans gave her the nickname "Goonica," as the R&B singer recently showcased her alter ego while calling out an unruly fan during a show.
The incident took place over the weekend at the Riverfront Music Festival in Detroit, when Monica stopped her performance to check a male concertgoer who allegedly assaulted a woman in the crowd.

“No, don’t you hit her like that," Monica said to the agressor. "Listen, listen, listen, if y’all don’t get that n-word up out of here. We [not] even supposed to play like that. You ain’t no n-word like that. Is you out [of] your fucking mind?”

In another clip, which is posted in the tweet below, Monica is seen taking matters into her own hands, as she jumped into the crowd to confront the man.
"You don’t hit no f*cking lady like that,” she can be heard saying.

For those who aren't privy to Monica's nickname, the singer explained the origin of "Goonica" during an Instagram Live session last year.

"Believe it or not, it started as an insult," she explained. "It was like ‘Goonica’ or ‘Glockica.’ It was supposed to be an insult, but I was never insulted. I don’t play about my family, my business, my integrity, the people I love […] Goonica really derived from me—you remember ‘kick down your door and smack your chick/just to show you Monica not having it."

FAMU suspends all football activities after the release of an unauthorized locker room rap video
Florida A&M University suspended all football-related activities after a rap music video featuring some of the team's players was recorded without permission in a football locker room.
Head football coach Willie R. Simmons said in a statement Friday night: “The video contained graphic language that is not consistent with Florida A&M’s core values, principles, and beliefs.

“Although I am a proud proponent of free speech and support all forms of musical expressions, this football team (as ambassadors of Florida A&M University) has a responsibility to protect the University's image,” he said.

An internal investigation is being conducted to determine who allowed the use of the athletic facility.
Simmons told The Associated Press that he would meet with the players visible in the video over the weekend and that a team meeting was scheduled for Monday.

The players in the video were not immediately identified.
Rapper Real Boston Richey, whose name is Jalen Foster, released the video, “Send a Blitz,” on Friday. As of Sunday morning, it had accumulated over 311,000 views on YouTube.

Foster, a native of Tallahassee, where Florida A&M is located, wrote on Instagram that the video was recorded in 24 hours. Clips show the inside of a locker room with the FAMU logo on the seating and people donning university apparel.

The licensed apparel in the video “potentially violates university branding and licensing agreements,” Simmons said.

“It is a privilege to wear the Orange and Green and as a football program our young men have failed to live up to the standard set before us," he said. “They will all learn from this mishap and we will continue to work hard every day to become the best version of ourselves and continue to make Rattler Nation proud.”

Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley to be honored with new monuments on the 82nd anniversary of his birth

The brutal lynching of Emmett Till and his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley’s, activism will be recognized with three new monuments with the signing of a new proclamation next week. President Joe Biden will sign the decree establishing the national monuments in honor of the mother and son on Tuesday (July 25), which also marks what would have been Till’s 82nd birthday.

A White House official told The Chicago Defender that “The designation reflects the Biden-Harris Administration’s work to advance civil rights and commitment to protecting places that help tell a more complete story of our nation’s history.”

The monuments will be located in three different locations of significance across Illinois and Mississippi: the site of his memorial at Roberts Temple Church of God in Christ in Chicago’s Southside neighborhood of Bronzeville; Graball Landing, Mississippi, where Till’s body was removed from the Tallahatchie River; and Tallahatchie County Second District Courthouse in Sumner, Mississippi, where his suspected killers, Roy Bryant and John Milan, were acquitted by an all-white jury in September 1955.

Till was abducted from his uncle’s home, brutalized, and lynched when he was 14 years old. He was accused of making a pass at Carolyn Bryant Donham, a white woman, at a convenience store. In an unpublished memoir, Donham claimed that she begged her then-husband, Bryant, and his half-brother not to harm the teen. She died this past April from cancer at the age of 88.

Two years ago, Congress passed the Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2021. The nationally revered award will be on display at the National Museum of African American History near Till’s casket.

Till-Mobley’s advocacy for her son has long been credited with galvanizing the civil rights movement and attracting widespread coverage of the heinous consequences of segregation and racism in America. At her request, the teen’s disfigured face was photographed by JET magazine as he lay in his casket. It has since been recognized as the most well-known lynching.

Sixty-five years after his murder, Congress showed overwhelming support with a 410-4 vote to pass the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act. The bill was signed by President Biden in March 2022, making the gruesome act of lynching a federal crime.

Carlee Russell's boyfriend says she shouldn't be bullied over her disappearance
As the memes, jokes, and public ridicule surrounding Carlee Russell and her tale of an alleged abduction grow louder, there is at least one person still showing her compassion: Thomar Simmons. The University of Alabama alum was the nursing student’s boyfriend, though the current state of their relationship is unknown as he recently removed all traces of her from his social media.

Russell has been a media spectacle since she mysteriously vanished from the side of the interstate in Hoover, Alabama, on July 13. The 25-year-old reportedly spotted a lone toddler wandering alongside the dangerous roadway. She resurfaced two days later at her parents’ house with a bizarre tale of being kidnapped and held hostage by two individuals.

Several questions about the validity of her story have cropped up since her safe return home. As details about her alleged experience were revealed by the police, so did the suspicions that her kidnapping was a hoax. Authorities have publicly stated that they have been unable to confirm reports of a toddler near the interstate and aspects of Russell’s story. As a result, she has been pummeled online with criticism and claims that she is setting back efforts to bring missing Black women home. Simmons, however, believes the public has taken things too far.

“The only thing I can say is I want everyone to stop bullying her,” he told The New York Post in a statement on July 22. “I know what it seems like she did. Just stop bullying on social media. Think about her mental health. She doesn’t deserve that. She doesn’t. Nobody deserves to be cyberbullied,” he continued.

Simmons previously advocated for people to be respectful of Russell’s healing after she reunited with her family. He, like many others in Hoover, joined in on the massive two-day search for her. “I was straight tunnel vision, even when I would get on social media on my downtime [and] see some of the false allegations [and] assumptions about me having something to do with her abduction would have me discouraged at times,” he wrote in a since-deleted post celebrating her return. At this time, the investigation into her disappearance remains ongoing.

Angela Bassett's Absence In 'Mission Impossible 7' Explained By Director

While Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One was a smash hit at the box office and among fans, there was one character missing from the movie.
It was first reported that Angela Bassett would return in the role of Erika Sloane in 2020, however, the COVID-19 pandemic nixed her involvement.

Now, director Christopher McQuarrie opened up about Angela‘s absence, and whether she could return in future movies in the franchise.

“I can’t tease anything about Mission: Impossible 7 except that COVID took me out, or kept me out, how about that [laughs],” Angela told Collider, but added that she hopes to have something “to tease when [Mission: Impossible 8] that comes along.”

In a recent chat with Variety, Christopher addressed her absence, and echoed what Angela said about her involvement in the next installment.

“It was interesting. She was going to be the head of the CIA, she would’ve been in that room with all the other heads of the intelligence community that you meet,” he shared.

He then added that they’re “not done with Angela Bassett – Angela is too fabulous, you could never ever let Angela get away, so there’s always a plan in the future…”

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is out in theaters now.

TS Madison And Jess Hilarious Have Heated Debate Over Trans TikToker Claiming Biological Women ‘Don’t Own Periods Nor Womanhood’
Comedian and actor Jess Hilarious and transgender TV personality, actress and LGBTQIA+ activist TS Madison have a heated debate after Jess initially reacted to a trans TikToker claiming biological women “don’t own periods, nor womanhood.”

Things all began with a a resurfaced, old video of a trans TikToker named Blessing Rose. In the clip Blessing said, “…when the transphobia just comes out, the audacity, and just the arrogance for cis women to believe that they own periods. That they own womanhood. You don’t. You don’t own periods. You don’t own womanhood. You experience both, and both are different for every person. But, as a cis woman, it doesn’t belong to you, so you can’ t gate-keep it.”

Jess Hilarious took to her Instagram and reacted with a video stitched to the trans TikToker’s clip. She asked, “Who the f**k is gonna stand up for US? Who the f**k stands up for US? And US, I mean women, real women, biological women, women who born with all the parts that you guys wish that you were. When does the delusion stop? What is the difference between you and someone who has been diagnosed to be mentally insane? The only difference is you don’t have a straitjacket on.”

Jess continued to speak to the trans TikToker and others who were on the same page about women “not owning periods,” and said, “Stop talking out your f**king a**. Wake up! How are you projecting your anger on real women, because we are the gate-keepers. We are the gate-keepers for periods. We’re the only ones that f**king bleed, honey. We’re the only ones that can give birth. We make y’all people. We make y’all. Y’all come from US. You can’t be US, you will never. You’re chasing something you’ll never ever get You’ll never be that.”

Subliminally responding to Jess, TS Madison tweeted, “There are sooooo many ‘REAL’ women that get mistaken for being ‘transgender’ women and that’s where a lot of the anger comes from…. I do hope they take a good look at how transphobia affects ALL women…”

Via a comment under her own post, TS later confirmed that her tweet was indeed directed at Jess. A user wrote, “Man, cause Jess Hilarious has truly blew me today.” TS replied, “And she gets mistaken for one a lot. So I just be disappointed in her tone sometimes.”

Another user wrote, “I respectfully disagree. She wasn’t speaking about being mistaken for a man, but that man saying that women don’t own their periods.. ?? That honestly just crazy, because we most certainly do.” TS replied, “I’m speaking of her always have a ‘tone’ towards transgender women, and she’s admitted to being mistaken for one on many occasions.”

A third user commented, “Oh God. Here we go attacking real women today. I promise you, real women have more important things to worry about.” TS replied, “I haven’t attacked ONE ‘real’ woman with this post….”

Jess caught all the hoopla, and even replied back with various GIFs. One read, “No uterus, no opinion.” Another read, “I’m every woman!” And she posted two more of biological women giving birth.

Jess Hilarious then posted a direct warning to TS Madison on her Instagram Story. Over a photo of TS, she wrote, “You da last one that needs to be f**kin playin wit me. Keep that phony sh*t over there. I swear …n***as in any form switch up like a mf.”

Responding back to Jess’ warning shot, TS posted a receipt of Jess revealing she, as a biological woman, once had a male celebrity DM her, believing she was a man, and offer to fly her out to anally penetrate them.

TS captioned the post, “Let me make one thing clear……I have stood up for and fought tooth and nail for BLACK WOMEN …. I have put a lot of BLACK WOMEN On used my platform to uplift black women as well as let it be known that I AM NOT A FEMALE but i am a black Trans women”

TS continued, “So I’m addressing this as such let me put a @ on @jesshilarious_official I have never disrespected you nor came at u publicly when you said side ways sh*t i didn’t like, I inboxed you…. Your mouth don’t put no fear in my heart cause you not the only b*tch that can put a read on the floor! So if it’s up then it’s up! But as a grown individual i don’t wanna go that route cause that’s not gone solve nun! BUT WE CAN, I’m alll day wit it!!”

TS concluded, “Now, I posted what I said because of what came out of YOUR own experiences! Every time Trans women and ‘Real” women unite on some good sh*t you nor the blogs ever posting or talkin bout it. The moment one individual offends you, y’all automatically group us all in the mix! I clearly know that only FEMALES have periods and uteruses and have never stood on the side of the majority! But what you not gone do is make it seem like you gone press down on me and call me phony!“

New ‘Rick and Morty’ Voice Actors Replacing Justin Roiland Will Be ‘Sound Alikes,’ Says Executive Producer

Years ago, “Rick and Morty” co-creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon could fill every seat at their San Diego Comic-Con panels with eager fans hungry for any tiny detail about the animated series with a cult-like following. While this year’s panel in the Hilton Bayfront’s Indigo Ballroom was once again packed, there was an air of uncertainty regarding the series’ future as the panelists were hesitant to give many (if any) details on what’s next for their space odyssey.

In January of 2023, Adult Swim terminated their relationship with Roiland, who also voiced the titular characters, after he was charged with domestic violence. “Adult Swim has ended its association with Justin Roiland,” the network said in a statement. Hulu also dropped him from “Solar Opposites,” which he co-created, and “Koala Man.” The charges against Roiland were dismissed in March.

At the time, Roiland released a lengthy statement online saying he was “thankful” for the charges being dropped, but added, “I’m still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process.” He also implied that he was ready to return to work, writing, “Now that the legal case has ended, I’m determined to move forward and focus both on my creative projects and restoring my good name.”

In June, Hulu revealed that Dan Stevens would take over Roiland’s lead voice role as Korvo in “Solar Opposites.” A trailer for Season 4 pokes fun at the recasting, including a quip that Korvo was hit with a “voice fixing ray.” As for “Rick and Morty,” the recasting is still in progress.

“We are closing in on the end of our process of the recast, but I do want to say it’s gonna be great,” Executive Producer Steven Levy said. “I am thoroughly impressed with everything that’s going on, including all the work on season 7. Truly, that’s the thing I don’t want to be overshadowed. The show is as good as it’s ever been.”

Shortly after the discussion about what to expect from Season 7, a new cold open with rough animation sketches was screened for the crowd — with no Rick or Morty.

When the floor was opened up for audience questions, one fan asked if the new actors would mimic the original sound of the characters, or change the voices entirely.

“It’s sound-alikes,” Levy said. “The characters are the same characters. No change.” That answer was met with thunderous applause from the audience.

As for when fans can expect the seventh season to debut, Levy once again played coy: “Pretty dang soon.”

Babies R Us Opens Its First Flagship Store After Its Corporate Parent, Toys R Us, Faced Bankruptcy In 2018
Babies R Us has recently launched its first flagship store since its corporate parent, Toys R Us, filed for bankruptcy in 2018.
This week, Babies R Us returned to the U.S. by opening a new store at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey. The company’s latest flagship aims to reintroduce the brand to consumers and attract shoppers through its physical presence. The store boasts exciting features, including a build-your-own nursery section, a stroller test track, and a dedicated registry space.

Babies R Us is not only offering a digital presence for online shipping but also creating a unique and exceptional one-stop shop experience. According to CEO Yehuda Shmidman, this combination of online convenience and in-store offerings is unparalleled.

Additionally, the store provides a welcoming experience for expecting parents, offering them the opportunity to try out a variety of products, such as strollers and car seats. The stroller test track is specially designed with real-life terrain, including grass and sidewalk steps. It allows shoppers to experience pushing a stroller in different conditions and environments. Adjacent to the test track, customers can test car seats by securely installing them inside a simulated car seat environment.

Despite the potential economic challenges ahead, the Babies R Us brand remains confident in its customer base.
“When you look at the data over time, there are two areas in particular that are recession proof,” Shmidman said. “They are babies and pets. People are not slowing down because they are always taking care of their kids.”
