#RHOA: Simon Guobadia Opens Up About the Moment He "Found Love" in Porsha Williams!

Porsha Williams and her fiancé, Simon Guobadia, have been sharing so many sweet messages to one another on social media after announcing their engagement in May. In Simon's latest touching tribute to his future bride, we're learning a little bit more about how this love story began.

Simon took to Instagram on June 30 to open up about the cosmic nature of him and Porsha meeting each other. "The moon and the sun must have been in alignment when we met and decided fairly quickly, I might add that we wanted to be together. I call that moving with 'intention and purpose,'" he gushed in the post, which featured a collection of photos from Porsha's 40th birthday party last month. "One Follower commented recently on one of my [posts] and crystallized this point by saying and I quote, 'Love really is a beautiful thing. I’d rather have it and be hated for it, than be lonely and miserable with people who can’t find it.'"

The Real Housewives of Atlanta fiancé went on to share that he immediately knew he had found someone special in Porsha. "I found love in you and I claimed it INSTANTLY. My love for you Porsha has not diminished one bit, in fact, it has grown exponentially. I make a public declaration of my feelings because I want many others like us to follow their hearts and be 'purposeful and intentional' [every day] because God made no promise that at any time certain, love and happiness would show up and make a grand entrance into our lives and declare its arrival," Simon concluded his post. "I want us to live our lives like [every day] is our last. I challenge anyone with a [heartbeat] to lead with love for a change. You might find someone you are equally yoked with if you travel this road. God bless."

"Love you baby," Porsha wrote in response to Simon's lovely message in the comments section.

If you follow the RHOA couple on social media, you know that all of their posts about each other are always this heart-melting, including Simon's birthday wishes for Porsha after she turned the big 4-0 on June 22. "Happy Birthday my love. God is always on time, and has his purpose for our lives. You are my twin in every significant aspect of life. Your laugh is contagious and your tears touch the depths of my soul. We are one of a kind," Simon wrote in the post, which featured photos and videos of him and Porsha. "As long as we continue to love, understand and respect each other, there is nothing on planet earth that can come between us and the love we have for each other. Now, let’s love live and travel."

Porsha commemorated her big birthday in a private celebration with Simon, along with Shamea Morton, Drew Sidora, and other friends, in Atlanta on June 22.

Simon's eldest son, Quentin, even flew in to surprise Porsha for her birthday.

After showering Simon with love for his 57th birthday earlier this spring, he returned the favor by helping to organize a "P Island"-themed party for Porsha's 40th on June 25, according to PEOPLE. "He did a wonderful job and paid so much attention to detail," Porsha told the publication earlier this week, adding, "It was an amazing night and one I will always remember. Truly special!"

In addition to ringing in her 40th with Simon and many familiar faces to Bravo fans, Porsha has also been marking her big birthday with several stunning looks, including a chic black bikini.

As for how she felt about turning 40, Porsha showed her gratitude and her ever-present "Kind heart, fierce mind, Brave spirit" on Instagram.

#MusicNews: Mya As Ego Mýa Lan$ky For “Worth It”!

Singer Mya gives us another side of her artistry as she introduces her alter ego Mýa Lan$ky with the new song “Worth It”. Over the years we’ve grown accustomed to Mya’s standout vocal performances, but this time around she shows off her rapping skills as well.

Mya issued the following statement on her new persona and the new single:

“My independent journey has placed me on a path to becoming a better version of myself, redefining success and happiness that does not always coincide with the world’s definition. So when people hear “Worth It,” I want them to feel strength and courage to leave any situation that does not enhance their lives. I want them to feel and adopt the fight & faith of a warrior which has assisted me in pushing through every challenge, and that spiritual component that’s kept me centered & grounded in such a chaotic world, in hopes for them to be inspired enough to apply it to their own lives by constantly pushing, learning, growing, and searching for their own voices and paths of resonance, to ultimately take risks and bet on themselves, so they too can reach their highest selves and ultimately experience peace of mind and a quality life. When they see me, I want them to see what committing to yourself looks like with the clarity that you can get better with time when you pour love into every aspect of yourself. It’s when we get better that we can help others. That’s true wealth and it is indeed worth it.”

He adds that it won’t just be a cameo either, with the possibility of her having a recurring role.

Zendaya And Tom Holland Confirm Relationship With Makeout Session

Zendaya and Tom Holland are making it official. After years of a rumored romance, the Cherry actor, 25, and “Euphoria” star, 24, seemingly confirmed their offscreen relationship with a steamy makeout session on Thursday (July 1). Page Six obtained photos of the couple showing PDA while driving through L.A.’s Silver Lake neighborhood in Holland’s Audi.

Holland could be seen holding Zendaya’s face as he leaned in for a kiss, while making funny faces and laughing in another photo. They were also spotted hanging out at the house of Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, the same day.

The two were rumored to be in a relationship as far back as July 2017 when they starred together in Spider-Man: Homecoming–in which Holland played Peter Parker and Zendaya portrayed his classmate MJ.

“They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man,” an insider told PEOPLE. “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.

In August of that year, Zendaya denied the dating rumors. “He’s literally one of my best friends,” she told Variety. “This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”

Zendaya and Holland will share the screen once again in the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which hits theaters Dec. 17.

ESPN's Rachel Nichols apologizes on 'The Jump' for comments about Maria Taylor!

ESPN NBA sideline reporter and “The Jump” host Rachel Nichols issued a brief apology for comments she made about diversity and her colleague Maria Taylor to kick off “The Jump” on Monday afternoon.

A bombshell report from The New York Times on Sunday detailed the alleged heavy internal strife at the network over comments Nichols made in 2020 while Nichols and Taylor were both being considered to host coverage for the NBA Finals.

“The first thing they teach you in journalism school is don’t be the story, and I don’t plan to break that rule today or distract from a fantastic Finals,” Nichols said Monday. “But I also don’t want to let this moment pass without saying how much I respect, how much I value our colleagues here at ESPN, how deeply, deeply sorry I am for disappointing those I hurt, particularly Maria Taylor, and how grateful I am to be part of this outstanding team.”

Nichols then turned it over to her co-hosts on “The Jump.”

“Well, Rachel, I want to say thank you,” Kendrick Perkins said. “Thank you for accepting responsibility for your actions. As someone that has known you for a long time, being around you, you have treated me with the utmost respect and you always made me feel comfortable in your presence. I know your heart, great person, great individual.

“I also know Maria Taylor. Great person as well, very, very talented, hardworking, and I feel like she also deserves every opportunity that is presented her way.

“My only hope is that we have a commitment overall to support each other through this process and continue to support each other through our journey.”

Richard Jefferson went next.

“I fully support Maria Taylor,” Jefferson said. “I worked with her since I joined ESPN … and I’ve known Rachel for 20 years. Rachel and our entire group here have had some very difficult conversations over this time period, and those conversations don’t end here. We will continue to have uncomfortable conversations. No one is excused, she is not excused, I am not excused, Perk — this doesn’t just go away. But we have to learn and understand and become better for each other, and really through our actions more than anything, and that is our responsibility.”

NYT report details Rachel Nichols’ comments about Maria Taylor

A report from The New York Times on Sunday detailed the internal strife at ESPN over comments Nichols made about Taylor last year.

Per The Times, Nichols was told by ESPN that Taylor, who is Black, was going to host the network’s coverage of the NBA Finals instead of her. Nichols was speaking with a longtime adviser of LeBron James, Adam Mendelsohn, on a call that was accidentally recorded and then later leaked.

During that call, Nichols can be heard saying that she thinks Taylor was only being promoted because of ESPN’s bad record on diversity.

“I wish Maria Taylor all the success in the world — she covers football, she covers basketball,” Nichols said in July 2020, via the New York Times. “If you need to give her more things to do because you are feeling pressure about your crappy longtime record on diversity — which, by the way, I know personally from the female side of it — like, go for it. Just find it somewhere else. You are not going to find it from me or taking my thing away.”

That recording was accessible to numerous ESPN employees, one of whom eventually leaked it. That employee is the only one to have been disciplined over the incident so far, something that remains an “active source of pain” among other employees.

Nichols said initially that she was “shaken” that a “fellow employee” would record and share her private conversation. Nichols told the New York Times that she was just “unloading to a friend about ESPN’s process, not about Maria."

“My own intentions in that conversation, and the opinion of those in charge at ESPN, are not the sum of what matters here — if Maria felt the conversation was upsetting, then it was, and I was the cause of that for her.”

Nichols said she reached out to Taylor multiple times to apologize, but Taylor “has chosen not to respond.” Nichols’ comments also upset plenty of her coworkers on “The Jump” and among those involved in NBA coverage, including Jalen Rose, Adrian Wojnarowski and Jay Williams.

After those comments were leaked, Taylor initially declined to host “NBA Countdown” during the Finals before changing her mind on the condition that Nichols not be on the show. ESPN agreed, but then ignored that and included prerecorded segments with Nichols that looked live.

More segments continued to be prerecorded, and ESPN threatened to prerecord every segment — which resulted in a blowup on a preshow call between commentators, including Taylor.

From The New York Times:

Taylor, whom executives had asked numerous times to change her interactions with Nichols, said that the only people punished by ESPN’s actions were women of color: [producer Kayla] Johnson, herself and the three sideline reporters — Lisa Salters, Cassidy Hubbarth and [Malika] Andrews — who received lesser assignments so that Nichols could have the lead sideline reporter role and now were not being allowed to appear on the show live.

Despite being one of the top reporters at the network, Taylor’s contract is set to expire this month during the Finals, and “few substantive steps have been taken toward a new deal,” per the report.

Britney Spears’ Dad Allegedly Called Her ‘Fat,’ A ‘Whore’ Amid Conservatorship!

Britney Spears’ dad called her “fat,” a “whore” and a “terrible mother” soon after her conservatorship began — and had so much control he would bellow, “I am Britney Spears!” according to a close family friend.

Jamie Spears shocked those around the family when he masterminded his daughter’s life after she was taken to a psychiatric ward for mental health evaluations in 2008, The New Yorker reported Saturday.

“Jamie said, ‘Baby’ … and I thought he was going to say, ‘We love you, but you need help,” longtime family friend Jacqueline Butcher told the mag.

“But what he said was, ‘You’re fat. Daddy’s gonna get you on a diet and a trainer, and you’re gonna get back in shape,’” Butcher claimed, saying the comments left her feeling sick.

Jamie, now 68, was trying to mastermind his daughter’s return to showbiz with her guest slot on the TV hit “How I Met Your Mother,” Butcher recalled, saying he would point to a TV and tell his daughter that the news would soon be saying, “She’s back.”

Jacqueline Butcher says that Jamie Spears would wear down Britney Spears with verbal abuse.

But instead of encouraging his daughter, he would instead wear her down with abuse, Butcher alleged.

“He would get all in her face — spittle was flying — telling her she was a whore and a terrible mother,” Butcher told the New Yorker in an investigation by Jia Tolentino and Ronan Farrow.

Jamie would tell his daughter that she could only see her children if she followed his orders — and her mother, Lynne Spears, “was just, like, ‘Obey Daddy and they’ll let you out,'” Butcher recalled.

Lynne, now 66, had divorced Jamie in 2002 partly at her daughter’s urging after “years and years of verbal abuse, abandonment, erratic behavior,” she recalled in a 2008 memoir, “Through the Storm.”

Britney’s mom only agreed to the conservatorship because she thought it would last months, not 13 years and counting — and was happy for her ex to be in control because it would make her daughter resent him, and not her, Butcher told the mag.

But when Lynne first tried to tell Jamie how she hoped the arrangement would work, her ex started shouting about his control over their daughter’s life, including limiting Lynne’s access, Butcher said.

Butcher recalled him bellowing, “I am Britney Spears!” — a refrain she would repeatedly hear him saying during the early years of the conservatorship, she said.

Lynne refused to discuss the situation at length — telling the New Yorker that she might have to hang up abruptly the phone if other family members walked in, the mag said.

“I got mixed feelings about everything,” Britney’s mom said. “I don’t know what to think. … It’s a lot of pain, a lot of worry. I’m good. I’m good at deflecting,” she added.

Butcher, meanwhile, said that she felt taken advantage of in inadvertently playing a key role in the conservatorship first getting set.

She had been there close to Britney during the “freaking circus” of her being taken into care for the psych hold, and then detailed much of what she saw to Jamie’s lawyers. She said she feels exploited by how that was then used in legal documents to get the conservatorship.

“I didn’t know how a conservatorship worked,” she told the New Yorker. “It was supposed to be temporary.”

She expected to have to give testimony in a lengthy court hearing — but instead said it was pre-arranged and “the whole process was maybe ten minutes.”

“A conservatorship was granted without ever talking to her,” she said of Britney. “She never had a chance.”

The star repeatedly attempted to get her own lawyers to fight it — but was unable to use them because she was ruled mentally unfit to retain one, the article detailed.

“Britney could have been found holding an ax and a severed head, saying ‘I did it,’ and she still would’ve had the right to an attorney” in a legal case, Jonathan Martinis, the senior director for law at a center for disability rights at Syracuse University, told the New Yorker.

“So, under guardianship, you don’t have the same rights as an ax murderer,” he said.

The judge who approved the conservatorship, Reva Goetz — who has since retired — denied the account, telling the New Yorker there were lengthy discussions about the star’s health and that she had opportunities for input.

A rep for Jamie declined to answer specific questions but characterized his behavior as that of a loving father saving his daughter from possible ruin, the mag said.

The rep denied Britney’s recent claims, however, that her father was behind her having an IUD to prevent her from having more children.

Jamie also recently filed court papers insisting he was no longer directly in control of his daughter, claiming that he has been “cut from communicating” with her for at least two years.

Actor Stephen Dorff says he's 'embarrassed' for Scarlett Johansson for appearing in 'garbage' 'Black Widow'!

Stephen Dorff told The Independent he did not want to be in movies like "Black Widow."

He says the film looked like "a bad video game." "Black Widow" is the first Marvel film with Scarlett Johansson as the main lead.

Stephen Dorff told The Independent that he's "embarrassed" for Scarlet Johansson for starring in the new Marvel film, "Black Widow."

Johansson is reprising her role as the titular character for Marvel's next blockbuster, which comes to theaters later this week. This is the first movie to be focused mainly on Johansson's character after she appeared in seven films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Dorff is known for his roles in "True Detective" and "Blade." He stars as a controversial MMA fighter in his latest movie, "Embattled," and told The Independent in an interview that he would "still hunt out the good s--- because I don't want to be in 'Black Widow.'

"It looks like garbage to me," he continued. "It looks like a bad video game. I'm embarrassed for those people. I'm embarrassed for Scarlett!

"I'm sure she got paid five, seven million bucks, but I'm embarrassed for her. I don't want to be in those movies. I really don't. I'll find that kid director that's gonna be the next Kubrick and I'll act for him instead."

"Black Widow" is the first movie of the MCU's phase four. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Dorff is not the only person to criticize the superhero-film genre. The renowned director Martin Scorsese has previously branded Marvel films as "theme parks" rather than cinema. He told Empire: "Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn't the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being."

Dorff also criticized the film industry as a whole.

"This year's Oscars were the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen," he told The Independent.

"My business is becoming a big game show. You have actors that don't have a clue what they're doing. You have filmmakers that don't have a clue what they're doing."

Jeff Bezos Steps Down as Amazon’s CEO After 27 Years!

This Monday, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos will hand over his chief executive title to Andy Jassy. He’s ending a more than two-decade run leading the company.

As we previously reported, back in February, the company announced that Bezos would transition from CEO to executive chair, saying he wanted to spend more time on his other ventures, including the Washington Post, space company Blue Origin and philanthropy. However, it was said that he would still be heavily involved in the company.

Mr. Jassy will have some big shoes to fill as Bezos’ exit as CEO comes at a critical time for Amazon. The pandemic created massive demand for its services, leading to jumps in profits and in hiring.

Back in June, the billionaire announced that he is launching himself into space next month. He said he will fly to space on the first crewed flight of the New Shepard, a rocket made by his aerospace company Blue Origin. As it was noted, the flight is scheduled for July 20, just a couple of weeks after Bezos plans to resign as Amazon’s CEO. The date will also mark the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Get Married During Intimate Ceremony!

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, have tied the knot more than eight months after their engagement in October 2020.

The couple officially got hitched on Saturday, less than a month after the No Doubt singer sparked wedding rumors by wearing a diamond band on her left hand.

The ceremony took place at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch, where sources previously said he built a chapel with the intention of marrying Stefani there.

Stefani, 51, and Shelton, 45, began dating in 2015 after meeting as coaches on NBC’s “The Voice.”

At the time, the rocker and country superstar were both newly divorced.

In July 2015, Shelton filed for divorce from Miranda Lambert, his second wife, after four years of marriage. Then, just weeks later, Stefani and Gavin Rossdale shocked fans by calling it quits after 13 years of marriage and three children.

Since getting together, the musicians have collaborated on a few lovestruck songs, including “Nobody But You,” “Happy Anywhere” and “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.”

The couple announced their engagement in October 2020.

Shelton quietly proposed to the “Rich Girl” singer with a huge, six- to nine-carat round solitaire diamond set on what appeared to be a platinum band.

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the pair would soon be hearing wedding bells after they applied for a marriage license in Oklahoma.

Congratulations to the happy couple.

Amanda Kloots Mourns Late Husband Nick Cordero on One-Year Anniversary of Death!

It's been a year since Amanda Kloots' husband, Nick Cordero, passed away due to complications from COVID-19. On Monday, Kloots marked the one-year anniversary of her husband's death by reflecting on the life that they shared together, per Entertainment Tonight. Kloots and Cordero are parents to their 2-year-old son Elvis.

Kloots posted a montage on Instagram to showcase some of the happier moments that she shared with her late husband. The Talk co-host wrote that the day, understandably, is a difficult one for her and her family. She noted that the first song in the montage is "A Few Stars Apart" by Lucas Nelson. In particular, she highlighted the verse in which Nelson sings, "And it's hard not to hold you / But I'm still on the ground / I miss the light you gave me / I miss your lovin' sound / Never a night will go by / Forgettin' the stars in the sky."

"Today hurts, there is no other way around it. One year ago you left us and became our angel in heaven," Kloots captioned the love-filled video. "You were surrounded by so much love and Led Zeppelin playing on Spotify-no doubt that was your doing, not mine. What happened was unthinkable, losing you was my biggest fear. I used to tell you all the time, 'Don’t you dare go anywhere. If I lost you, I don’t know what I’d do.'" She continued to express just how much she misses Cordero. The talk show host also noted that she knows that even though he's gone, he's looking over her and their son.

"There hasn’t been a day this year where you weren’t missed, thought about and talked about," Kloots continued. "Thank you for being our guardian angel, for sending me signs, for being my DJ in heaven. I know you’re just 2” away. We only had a few short years together but they were filled with so much love, laughter, adventure, dreams, change and growth. It was my 'Nick era' and I’ll have it forever." Cordero died on July 5, 2020 after a lengthy battle with COVID-19. He was 41. At the time, Kloots shared the news on Instagram, writing, in part, alongside a photo of Cordero, "God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth."

LeBron James halts prep basketball game to confront PA announcer over Bronny call!

LeBron James went full basketball dad on Saturday in an arena with his name on it.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar was in the stands for a prep basketball game between his son Bronny's Strive for Greatness and Wildcat Select. The game was part of a three-day event called "The Battle: Summer Showcase" featuring high-level midwest teams and prospects.

The game was played at James' Akron, Ohio alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary high school at the LeBron James Arena — on the same court where James made his name as a transcendent basketball prospect.

So when the game's public address announcer didn't paint Bronny in the brightest light on a call, James didn't hesitate to halt the game and give said announcer an earful.

LeBron walks onto court to confront PA announcer

The incident happened in the final minutes of Wildcat Select's 73-69 overtime victory. With Wildcat Select leading 67-62, James stood up from his seat near the baseline to yell at the PA announcer who was sitting at midcourt. After an exchange of words, James walked past a barrier and onto the court to confront the announcer face-to-face. Gameplay halted for a moment as James had his say before returning to his seat.

The action was all recorded on a video stream. Per the stream announcers, James was upset that the PA announcer said that Bronny got a foul call because he was playing in a gym with his dad's name on it:

Was James right to approach announcer?

A PA announcer's job, of course, isn't to give commentary on gameplay. It's to call the action and hype up the crowd. James was right to be upset if the announcer did indeed suggest that the refs were giving Bronny favorable treatment — especially considering that the refs heard the call and could potentially be influenced.

Was James right to stop the game and confront the announcer? That one's up for debate.

But there's no debating that James is passionate about his son and his son's game.

Tyson Food Inc. Recalls Ready-To-Eat Chicken Products After Possible Listeria Contamination!

Tyson Foods Inc. has recalled nearly 8.5 million pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products because they could be contaminated with Listeria.

On Saturday, the USDA Food and Safety Inspection Service announced a recall on millions of ready-to-go cooked chicken products because of possible Listeria contamination. “The frozen, fully cooked chicken products were produced between December 26, 2020, and April 13, 2021,” the agency said in a statement.

“The bear establishment number ‘EST. P-7089’ on the product bag or inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped nationwide to retailers and institutions, including hospitals, nursing facilities, restaurants, schools, and Department of Defense locations,” the statement said.

This news comes after two people became ill with listeriosis; they ended up working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to find out how they were contaminated. It led back to the Tyson ready-to-go meat, CNN reports.

“Listeriosis can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions sometimes preceded by diarrhea or other gastrointestinal symptoms,” the FSIS statement said. The agency stated that anyone with the products should immediately throw them away or return them to the store they purchased them from.

Edward Cagney Matthews Pelted With Objects By Protestors After Encounter With Black Neighbor brings Neighborhood to his Front Door!

A New Jersey man was arrested after his aggressive encounter with his Black neighbor went viral. A clip of the aggressive confrontation showed the man shouting out his address in the video leading up to the massive protests in front of his door.

Edward Cagney Matthews was arrested Monday evening, hours after protestors arrived at his front door in response to the disturbing viral video where he used racist language towards his neighbor, a Black man named Brandon. In the video, Matthews calls him the n-word multiple times, “monkey”, and telling him “This isn’t Africa” after asking him he was familiar with America’s laws. Moments later, a security guard tries to de-escalate the situation and Matthews tells him to “put the n—” in their place. Additionally, he screams his address out loud and says “let them come see me.”

Over the weekend, the video caused protestors to demonstrate in front of Matthews’s property and he was contained in his home as police guarded the front door. During his arrest, protestors threw water bottles and other items towards him as a response to his behavior towards Brandon.

Matthews will be charged with harassment and bias intimidation
