#RHOA: Is Sheree Whitfield in talks to rejoin ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’?

Sheree Whitfield is reportedly in talks to rejoin the cast for season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta after exiting the show during season 10.

Whitfield was a full-time housewife during seasons 1 through 4, and returned for season 8 as a “friend of the show.” She was bumped up to full-time status for seasons 9 and 10 before permanently departing in 2018.

Sources close to production tell TMZ that Whitfield has been in talks with RHOA producers about returning to the show as a regular housewife for several weeks. According to the report, she refuses to commit unless producers are on board with making her a full-time housewife. Production on season 14 is underway and the casting process is said to be chaotic.

Sources tell the outlet that the producers have “no idea who they want to round out the cast and why.”

According to the report, Whitfield is likely coming back as a ‘starter housewife’ but if she does return full-time, she will replace Cynthia Bailey, who is likely not coming back for another season.

Earlier this year, Whitfield reunited with her boyfriend, Tyrone Gilliams, who was released from prison early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As previously reproved by theGRIO, Gilliams was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2013 for wire fraud. He and Whitfield dated before his indictment. The couple reconnected in 2016, and Whitfield frequently visited him in a Kentucky prison.

He was convicted, along with his attorney, of stealing more than $5 million from their investors. He had previously portrayed himself as a commodities trader and hip-hop promoter, as well as an up-and-coming philanthropist. He tried to boost his image with a splashy charity event that featured several celebrities, including Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Federal prosecutors said Gilliams and Everette Scott misappropriated their investors’ money for personal gain and spent it on luxury cars, jewelry and travel. Scott was sentenced to 30 months in prison for his role in the scheme.

In 2018, Whitfield told Page Six that dating Gilliams was “very unconventional and something new for me.” She said the two communicated through love letters.

Meanwhile, Marlo Hampton is also rumored to be joining the new season of RHOA as a full-time cast member. As far as the other series regulars, Porsha Williams is reportedly currently filming her spinoff show focused on her relationship with Simon Guobadia.

No word yet if Kandi Burruss or Kenya Moore have signed on for another season, but B. Scott reports that the producers are “aggressively interviewing” new female influencers to replace the OGs.

“They’re specifically looking for ladies with husbands and/or significant others,” the outlet reports.

NeNe Leakes is allegedly still on the outs with her former co-stars following her 2020 exit from the long-running franchise that made her a household name.

Kim Kardashian Files Trademark For ‘SKKN’ Amid KKW Beauty Rebrand!

It looks like Kim Kardashian’s rebrand for KKW Beauty is moving right along.

As previously reported, the reality star announced earlier this month that KKW will go on hiatus starting Aug. 1 and will later relaunch  “under a completely new brand with new formulas.”

She said in a statement,To our loyal customers, [i]t all started with a contour kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body and many incredible collections over the past four years.”

“On August 1st at midnight we will be shutting down the KKWBeauty.com site so that we can come back to you under a completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look.”

She continued, “I’m excited to continue to develop and expand my product range and for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned. In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories from one single website.”

Now, she might be gearing up to unveil the new name.

Her company filed to trademark the name SKKN just days after her announcement, according to TMZ. She reportedly wants to use SKKN to sell beauty products ranging from skin and hair to makeup and nails. She also filed the trademark to protect the name internationally, not just in the U.S.

Her team reportedly created social media accounts @SKKN back in December 2020.

Florida Man Becomes First Capitol Rioter To Receive Jail Time!

A Florida thug who stormed the Capitol during the deadly January riot has just received eight months in prison.

Paul Hodgkins of Tampa pleaded guilty to obstruction of an official proceeding. During the Capitol riots, the 38-year-old was photographed spending about fifteen minutes inside of the Senate chamber. The Trump supporter was seen taking photos and holding up a Trump flag.

Patrick Leduc, the attorney representing Hodgkins, called his client’s role in the riot “minimal” and requested no time behind bars.

Hodgkins, who has no previous criminal record, argued that he should not receive jail time because he had no intentions of going into the Capitol building despite making the trip from Florida to Washington. He claims that he simply got caught up in the march. He even stated that he apologized to Capitol police officers for the commotion and rendered aid to an injured rioter. However, District Judge Randolph Moss disagreed with the man’s pleas, stating that Hodgkins “actively and intentionally participated in an event that threatened not only the security of the Capitol but democracy itself.”

The crane operator acknowledged his participation in the madness as a “foolish decision” that he takes “full responsibility for.”

As part of his sentence, Hodgkins was ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution for damage to the building.

Prince Harry Working On 'Intimate And Heartfelt Memoir'!

Prince Harry is writing what his publisher is calling an “intimate and heartfelt memoir.”

Random House expects to release the book, currently untitled, late in 2022.

“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become," the Duke of Sussex, 36, said in a statement Monday. "I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Financial terms were not disclosed. Prince Harry will donate proceeds to charity, according to Random House.

“Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him,” Random House announced.

“Covering his lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day, including his dedication to service, the military duty that twice took him to the frontlines of Afghanistan, and the joy he has found in being a husband and father, Prince Harry will offer an honest and captivating personal portrait, one that shows readers that behind everything they think they know lies an inspiring, courageous, and uplifting human story.”

Monday's announcement comes f our months after Harry and his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, made worldwide news during their interview with Oprah Winfrey near the couple's home in Montecito, California. Meghan spoke of feeling lonely and nearly suicidal before they left England last year and Harry acknowledged tension with his father, Prince Charles, over his decision to step back from his royal duties and his marriage to the biracial American actor.

“There is a lot to work through there,” Harry said about his relationship with his father, who was divorced from Diana, Princess of Wales, at the time of her fatal car accident in 1997. “I feel really let down. He’s been through something similar. He knows what pain feels like. And Archie (Harry and Meghan's son) is his grandson. I will always love him, but there is a lot of hurt that has happened.”

Harry told Winfrey that he felt trapped by royal life and that his family cut off him financially and took away his security. He also acknowledged his relations were strained with his brother, Prince William.

“I was trapped, but I didn’t know I was trapped,” Harry said, before adding, “My father and my brother, they are trapped.”

Last month, Meghan published the picture book “The Bench” through Random House Books for Young Readers.

Idris Elba Calls for Social Media Platforms to Verify All Users to Curb Racism!

*Idris Elba is calling on social media platforms to give all users that coveted blue check in an effort to curb racists and bullies.

“People in the public eye get verified on social media,” he wrote in a statement shared by The Shade Room, “the process of verification requires them to prove their IDENTITY, so everyone knows WHO is speaking.” He then wrote in all caps, “SOCIAL MEDIA COMPANIES SHOULD MAKE THIS MANDATORY FOR ALL USERS.”

The British hunk compared private accounts on social media to “boarding a plane and not having to show I.D.”

“If cowards are being supported by a veil of privacy and secrecy, then social media is not a safe place. It’s an aeroplane that allows travelers to wear balaclavas.”

Elba’s comments come amid the controversy over the racial abuse of England footballers Bukayo Saka, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford after the Euros final.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is meeting social-media executives to discuss how the companies are tackling racism and bullying.

The UK government published the Draft Online Safety Bill in May, “which attempts to tackle illegal and otherwise harmful content online by placing a duty of care on online platforms to protect their users from such content,” per the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Dame Melanie Dawes, Ofcom chief executive, told the Oxford Media Convention: “The need for regulation has come into even sharper focus over the past week, as some of our incredible England football team were subjected to racist abuse on the major social media platforms.”

“There is no place in our society for racism, whether it happens online or offline and by their own admission the platforms failed to do enough to remove these appalling comments at a critical national moment.  They simply must do far better than this in the future.”

However, as reported by MSN, Ofcom won’t regulate individual tweets or posts on Facebook.

“Instead, it will be about holding platforms to account for assessing the risks to their users, and putting in place sensible, concrete measures to address them,” Dame Melanie said.

“We’ll be examining and enforcing against their systems and processes, rather than the content.”

Elba said if racist “cowards” want to spew hate online, they should “say it with [their] name” and not with their username.

Black tech entrepreneurs get $1 million boost from Pharrell Williams!

Entrepreneur Justin Turk knew his start-up was special, but a $1 million prize from Grammy award-winning singer and producer Pharrell Williams came as a shock.

On Tuesday, Williams announced the winners of his Black Ambition prize competition -- and Turk and his business partner, Andre Davis, are in the national spotlight.

Williams' non-profit was founded in December to help Black and Latino business owners close the wealth gap through entrepreneurship.

Turk and Davis, co-founders of Livegistics, took home the top prize of $1 million. The Detroit-based entrepreneurs run a cloud-based material management software company, which eliminates paperwork in heavy civil construction and demolition. The company also provides data and metrics that construction experts can use for efficiency.

Livegistics is also helping the environment through the elimination of tons of paper each year and helps local communities accelerate the elimination of blight in urban cities and neighborhoods.

"We knew we had something special, but you don't go in thinking you will walk away with $1 million. But when it happens you are like, 'Wow, we just won $1 million,'" Turk said.

But the 40-year-old said he never knew joy and pain could co-exist simultaneously.

Success can be bittersweet

On the day he learned his tech start-up won the grand prize, his father-in-law died before he could share the news.

"All in 24 hours, it was the greatest and worst moments tied together forever. There we were with the our biggest business success to date along with the worst day of our lives all in 24 hours," Turk said. "It is weird. Sometimes I feel guilty for being so happy about what's going on, but I know he would have been excited."

Turk, who co-founded the business three years ago with Davis, said that hours after he learned about winning he watched a team of health care professionals try to revive his wife's father, whom he admired. He was a veteran who loved architecture. And they shared the same passion for construction.

Instead of hosting a celebration party for friends and family, Turk said he will bury his father-in-law in a private ceremony Saturday.

"He would have been enamored with what's going on. If he would have been able to see all of this, it would have just blown him away," Turk said. "He would walk around the city of Detroit and look at buildings on his own. This would have just made his decade."

More like brothers

Turk's and Davis' friendship goes back decades. The two met in elementary school when they were 5 years old, Davis said. Then, they were college roommates at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Davis, the chief financial officer, said it was never a goal to become business partners but it made sense.

"He's been in just about every special moment in my life," Davis said. "Not only are we solving the single most significant reason construction companies go out of business (cash flow), we're doing so in a manner that creates less work and makes the lives of our customers easier to manage."

Davis, 41, said he worked at Financial One as an outsourced CFO to clients in the Metro Detroit area. He started and operated his own accounting and financial services practice for 10 years, managing to keep one foot in the non-profit sector to give back. He wants to encourage other Black and minority entrepreneurs looking to start their businesses to take the leap of faith.

"A thought today, backed by effort today, is one step closer to your dream tomorrow. Justin is brilliant. His background is the foundation for what I forsee as a unicorn in the making," Davis said. "A third generation business owner, minority-owned, who understands all facets of large construction projects at an expert level...who also has a degree in computer science to speak tech geek language! You don't find a Justin Turk walking around every day."

Together, the hybrid team beat out nearly 1,700 applicants to win the grand prize. Williams, who announced the initiative in December, congratulated the team on Twitter Tuesday, saying, "We are so inspired by you and can't wait to see how you change the world."

Turk and Davis said this win is bigger than them. It's about opening the door for the next person.

"Winning this competition is bigger than just the prize money," Turk said. "When we first entered the tech start-up world as two Black entrepreneurs, we had no idea how to navigate in this space."

Turk said they are not only being taught how to navigate, "but also to dominate in an industry that just recently decided to grant access to people of color."

The win will break open doors. And Turk has an another goal.

"We don't just want an invite, we want to create the guest list," he said.

Flip Or Flop’s Tarek El Moussa ‘Called Ex Christina Haack A Crazy, Washed-Up Loser’ In Angry Rant On Set Of Their Show!

TAREK El Moussa went on a wild rant against his ex-wife Christina where he claimed he "made" her and that his new wife is "hotter" and "richer."

The Flip or Flop star slammed his ex after learning she "smoked toad venom" following her divorce to lessen her stress.

Tarek, 39, went on a savage tirade against Christina, 38, while on set recently, TMZ has revealed.

After the blonde alerted her ex that it was time to film, he reportedly "didn't like the way she signaled to him that she and the crew were ready to begin shooting."

The reality star then exploded on the mother of his children, as he compared her to his new fiancΓ©e, Heather Rae Young, who he claimed is much "hotter" and "richer" than her.

Tarek added that he "made" Christina famous, and referred to her as a "washed-up loser."

The TV personality even said that he "enjoys watching her fail" and finished his rant by screaming: "Look at me, look at me, look at me. It’s called winning.

"The world knows you're crazy!"

DIFFICULT SPLIT

A source told the outlet that this wasn't the first time Tarek went off on the real estate investor, and the incident prior was so bad that they "stopped filming together the rest of the day."

The ex-couple were forced to shoot their scenes separately due to aggressive altercations, the insider claimed.

The source also revealed that Tarek's anger stems from Christina's decision to "smoke toad venom" after her divorce and that he's concerned for the safety of their two kids.

The hosts share a daughter Taylor, 10, and son Braydon, five, and Christina also has a one-year-old son with her most recent ex-husband, Ant Anstead.

The insider closed by saying that both Christina and Tarek are show executives, and "there's going to be tension from time to time, this was one of those incidents."

Nick Cannon introduces baby no. 7, son Zen Scott!

Nick Cannon is one proud papa. On Monday, “The Masked Singer” host, 40, shared a photo of his newborn son Zen Scott to his Instagram Stories, captioning the pic of the snoozing infant, born on June 23, “Introducing Zen Scott Cannon ‘aka Z Chillin.'”

He also shared sweet scenes of his growing brood enjoying some “kite-flying time.”

“Flying kites with my kids is the most euphoric and joyful experiences of life!!” the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” actor wrote alongside an adorable close-up of his baby girl. He also included a photo of himself and his mom, Beth Gardner, as they both relaxed on a swing set.

“Momma about to turn 80 and she still out here playing on swings,” he wrote in another post. “True happiness!!” he added, with three heart emoji.

Cannon has been in the news lately for his rapidly growing family.

His oldest — daughter Monroe and son Moroccan — are fraternal twins from his marriage to Mariah Carey. He also has two children, son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell.

June was a busy month for the “America’s Got Talent” alum, who welcomed three children by two different women. DJ Abby De La Rosa gave birth to twin sons, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, while model Alyssa Scott gave birth to the aforementioned Zen.

Last week Cannon claimed that his rapidly growing clutch of progeny was no accident.

“I’m having these kids on purpose. I didn’t have no accident,” he proclaimed on his Power 106 radio show.

When the series returns later this year, fans will see 12 more Queens face challenges that are designed to fully test their Drag expertise over the course of 10 episodes.

3 Arrested in Georgia for Assaulting 12-Year-Old Boy, Shaving 'Gay' into His Scalp!

Three people were arrested in Atlanta after assaulting a 12-year-old boy and shaving the word "gay" into his scalp.

Jordan Jarrode Richards-Nwankwo, 18, Lorkeyla Jamia Spencer, 19, and Brittney Monique Mills, 35, were charged with cruelty to children, with Richards-Nwankwo facing an additional battery charge.

"We’re very pleased with these arrests, but we are pleased with feedback that we got from members of the community assisting in this and how quickly they were able to jump on it," said Sgt. John Chafee, Atlanta Police Department.

An investigation was launched in June after Atlanta police were alerted about a post "depicting maltreatment of a juvenile." The child was soon located and placed into protective custody with the Georgia Division of Family & Children Services.

"The behavior in this social media post was difficult to watch and is absolutely unacceptable. We are appreciative of the number of people who flagged this case with us and for those who provided information on the location where it took place. Our investigators worked hard to identify those involved and to gather the evidence needed to place each behind bars, and we are thankful for their work," the Atlanta Police Department wrote in a statement.

In the video that prompted the investigation, people can be heard yelling at the boy while being assaulted. The police report states one person said, "You still doing gay s---. You think I cut this in your head for no reason?"

"Investigators were made aware of a video posted on social media that depicted a young male abused and it appeared that he was being abused because of his sexual orientation," said Chafee.

"This was a difficult video to watch. When you see someone, you know, I have a child, and when you see a young person being abused like this, I mean this is just so unnecessary. It was difficult to watch. And I think with a lot of the investigators it was the same way," Chafee continued.

"There is a lot of work that goes into the back... into the background of these cases because we don't want to just, 'Okay, I this is the person and I am going to go ahead and charge them.' We got to present evidence in court otherwise our charges mean nothing," said Chafee. "This one came together with the way it should. People saw something wrong, they brought it to our attention, and our investigators jumped on it and acted quickly," he concluded.

Former Walmart Worker Wins $125 Million in Lawsuit After Being Fired by the Company

A former Walmart employee with Down’s Syndrome has just been awarded $125 million after the company fired her.

Whew, Walmart just had to hand over a multi-million dollar bag because it broke the American Disabilities Act, which bans anyone and any company from discriminating against anyone with a disability.

Marlo Spaeth has worked at Walmart for about 16 years. A “very hard worker” is what her managers have called her. But, in 2015, her Walmart job – located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin – fired her after they abruptly changed her work shift schedule to one that was a conflict for her. Back in 2014, the store implemented a new scheduling system that analyzes the amount of customer traffic so that there can be enough staffing during specific busy hours.

Spaeth’s noon to 4 p.m. shift was changed to 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., The New York Times reports. Concerned with the sudden change, Spaeth and her family reportedly told the grocery store giant that after the 2014 rota change that “[Spaeth’s] afraid she’s going to miss the bus. She’s afraid she’s going to miss dinner. It’s upsetting to her.”

The managers at that location refused to give Spaeth her original shift despite Spaeth’s family’s request. After that, management gave Spaeth two warnings for being absent and for tardiness. Eight months later, Walmart ended her contract and refused to bring her back on as a worker, Yahoo! News reports.

But, God doesn’t like ugly, and Walmart soon found that out in the form of a lawsuit filed by Spaeth’s family. “The jury here recognised, and apparently was quite offended, that Ms Spaeth lost her job because of needless — and unlawful — inflexibility on the part of Walmart,” said Gregory Gochanour, the lawyer who represented Spaeth.

By the end of it all: Walmart was ordered to pay Spaeth $125 million, which Walmart called “unreasonable,” and claimed the amount would be changed to $300,000 because there’s allegedly a federal law that limits compensatory and punitive damages. “We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and we routinely accommodate thousands of associates every year,” said Walmart in a statement reported by The Times.
