#RHOA: Falynn Celebrates Divorce from Porsha’s FiancΓ© Simon Guobadia!

Falynn, who appeared on season 13 of RHOA, is officially divorced from her husband, Simon Guobadia, who is currently engaged to Porsha Williams.

Falynn Guobadia, who appeared as a friend of Porsha Williams in The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is officially divorced from her husband, Simon Guobadia. Viewers met Falynn for the first time during the latest season of the Bravo reality series. Porsha Williams and Tanya Sam headed over to Falynn's for a fun pool party since they were unable to go out and socialize due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Little did they know that shortly after this get-together, Falynn would become a much more important figure.

The day after the final episode of the season 13 reunion aired for RHOA, Porsha announced that she was engaged to Simon Guobadia. Viewers were very confused since Falynn, who has moved on from Simon, was introduced to the audience as Porsha's friend. However, Porsha has since denied they were ever friends, explaining they only hung out together because Falynn was potentially joining the show as a "friend of."

On Monday, the reality star announced she is finally divorced from her husband of two years. "I’m officially divorced! It’s a party! It’s a partyyy!" Falynn shared to her Instagram Stories along with a champagne bottle emoji. Unfortunately for Falynn, the former couple will have their prenuptial agreement enforced, according to a final judgment, which was ordered by the courts last week (via Page Six). While details of the prenup are currently unclear, neither Falynn nor Simon will receive alimony in the divorce. In addition, the pair also agreed to a confidentiality clause, meaning neither of them will be allowed to discuss the details of their former marriage. However, Falynn didn't leave the divorce completely empty-handed.

The 31-year-old got to keep her wedding ring, her 2017 Jeep, and her 2020 Bentley. She also got her maiden name restored, therefore she will be legally known as Faline Eady. Falynn and Simone met over five years ago and tied the knot on June 14, 2019. Less than two years later, Simon filed for divorce on February 19, 2021. The reasoning behind the split is still unknown, even though Simon did accuse her of cheating on him a few months ago. Simon was accused of infidelity as well and even offered $50,000 in cash to anyone who has proof of his cheating. Nonetheless, Porsha did reveal she and Simon were engaged less than three months after Simon filed for divorce from Falynn. The couple plans on having three wedding ceremonies.

Now that the divorce is official, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta friend can finally move on from the drama Simon had caused. Even if Falynn and Simon were already on the brink of divorce before Porsha, the way he went about it was completely unwarranted. Hopefully, this will be the last time Falynn will have anything to do with Simon or Porsha.

#MusicNews: Adele In Talks To Land Las Vegas Residency!

Adele could be set to make a return to the stage with a Las Vegas residency next year.

The ‘Hello’ hitmaker is reportedly poised to join the likes of music legends including Sir Elton John, Mariah Carey, and Lady Gaga by taking part in her very own Las Vegas residency, which would see her perform a string of shows on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Sources told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column Adele is eyeing a slot at the strip’s newest venue, Resorts World, where she could make as much as £100,000 a night.

The venue has already hosted performers including Celine Dion, Katy Perry and Carrie Underwood and it has been claimed that Adele could follow in their footsteps, as soon as January next year.

Adele’s last concert was in June 2017, when she took to the stage in front of 97,500 fans at Wembley Stadium, and if she lands her residency, she will be playing to 5,000 people every night.

Meanwhile, the residency rumours come amid talk about a new album, which would be her first since she released ‘25’ in 2015.

#HipHopNews: Wu-Tang Clan Album Owned By Martin Shkreli Sold By U.S. Government!

The United States has sold the only existing copy of the Wu-Tang Clan album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.

The unreleased album, which was seized from convicted pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli, was sold Tuesday to an anonymous buyer for an undisclosed amount, according to a press release from the acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

Proceeds from the sale will go toward a $7.4 million forfeiture judgment that Shkreli was required to pay as a result of his securities fraud conviction in 2018.

“Shkreli has been held accountable and paid the price for lying and stealing from investors to enrich himself,” said Jacquelyn M. Kasulis, the Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. “With today’s sale of this one-of-a-kind album, his payment of the forfeiture is now complete.”

Shkreli, known as “Pharma Bro,” purchased the 31-track album—which featured all the surviving members of Wu-Tang—at auction in 2015 for a reported $2 million. The “unique work of art” came in a hand-carved nickel-silver box with a 174-page leather-bound book containing lyrics and a certificate of authenticity. Shkreli live-streamed a portion of the album in 2016 to celebrate Donald Trump’s presidential election win.

“There’s a lot of things rich dudes buy just … to show off,” Shkreli told “The Breakfast Club” in 2016. “The point is I wanted to show respect for art. Music means more to me than anything.”

After learning that Shkreli had purchased the album, RZA told Bloomberg Businessweek that the group decided to give “a significant portion of the proceeds to charity.”

Simone Biles Out Of Olympic All-Around Competition!

TOKYO — Simone Biles will not compete in Thursday’s all-around competition, where she was expected to defend the gold medal she won at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro games.

On Tuesday, the decorated 24-year-old American took herself out of Tuesday’s team competition after a single rotation, citing an inability to focus due to mental health issues.

USA Gymnastics announced on Wednesday afternoon here that she will sit out the all-around as well.

“After further medical evaluation, Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition at the Tokyo Olympic Games, in order to focus on her mental health,” the statement read.

Biles, who had qualified first overall on Sunday, will be replaced by Jade Carey, who came in ninth overall. Sunisa Lee, who qualified third, will join Carey.

It is not determined if Biles will return for any of the four individual finals that she qualified for — vault, balance beam, uneven bars or floor.

“Simone will continue to be evaluated daily to determine whether or not to participate in next week’s event finals,” USAG said.

Tuesday, after leaving the team event, Biles stated she was “still struggling with some things” and was having trouble dealing with outside expectations and opinions. She thought she had her mental health under control, but arriving at the Olympics altered things.

“I felt pretty comfortable coming into the Olympic Games and then I don’t know what happened,” Biles said. “Just going through each of the days and the training it just felt a little bit tougher.”

The issue prevented Biles from being able to focus mentally on the complex aspects of her routine. On Tuesday she attempted a vault only to lose track of where she was in the air and needed remarkable physical control to avoid injury.

Vault is usually her strongest event, but she scored fourth-lowest in the competition. She removed herself soon, explaining she didn't want to further damage the American team’s score. They went on to win silver.

She didn’t promise a return or rule out outright retirement, only saying she would take things “one day at a time” and “see what happens.”

Democratic Activist Ed Buck Guilty In ‘Party And Play’ Drug Deaths!

Ed Buck, a prominent Democratic activist was convicted Tuesday of injecting men with methamphetamine in exchange for sex, causing two deaths.

A federal jury convicted Buck of two counts of meth distribution resulting in death as well as three other charges following deliberations that lasted for more than four hours following a two-week trial. The 66-year-old will face a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison at his sentencing, which has not yet been scheduled.

The verdict was handed down four years to the day after 26-year-old Gemmel Moore was found dead of a drug overdose in Buck’s West Hollywood apartment. An investigation revealed that Buck had purchased a plane ticket for Moore, who was black, to fly from Texas to Los Angeles to “party and play” with the older white man.

“The party is the drugs, the play is the sex,” Assistant US Attorney Chelsea Norell told jurors in her opening statement. “If they didn’t party, he wasn’t interested.”

Moore’s family and activists had pushed for Buck’s arrest, charging that his wealth, political connections and his race precluded him from facing consequences. Despite the clamor, Buck was left free to pursue his fetish for another two years after Moore’s death.

“Today is bittersweet,” LaTisha Nixon, Moore’s mother, said after the verdict. “We got victory today.”

In January 2019, 55-year-old Timothy Dean died from a meth overdose, again in Buck’s apartment. Before Buck was arrested that September, a third companion of his ODed twice in one week in the apartment and only survived thanks to timely medical intervention.

That man, Dane Brown, told investigators he had been living in a hotel on Skid Row when he met Buck on Adam4Adam, a gay dating and escort site, and moved in with him for part of summer 2019.

Political donor Ed Buck used drugs and engaged in ‘sex play,’ prosecutors said

Brown said Buck injected him with meth nearly daily for five weeks, according to court documents. After his second overdose, Brown said Buck refused to call an ambulance and Brown was forced to call 911 at a nearby gas station.

“I didn’t think I was going to believed,” Brown said after the verdict. “Walking out of that house, I didn’t know what was going to happen next.”

“This man did some terrible things to human beings,” Joann Campbell, one of Dean’s sisters, told the Associated Press.

Prosecutors said Buck exploited desperate men who were homeless or struggling with drug addiction — many of them black — to satisfy his sexual proclivities.

Buck’s defense team was led by onetime O.J. Simpson prosecutor Christopher Darden, who claimed that Buck “did nothing to cause the death of any person.” Darden alleged that neither Moore nor Dean died from methamphetamine overdoses and went to Buck’s apartment of their own volition. Darden also described Buck’s partners as “manipulative people” who took advantage of his generosity to get money and drugs and who had “every reason to exaggerate their experiences.”

Christopher Darden, who was a prosecutor in LA for the OJ Simpson case, was on Ed Buck’s defense team.

Buck was also convicted of four counts of meth distribution, one count of keeping a drug den and two more counts of enticement to cross state lines for prostitution.

“Ed Buck will never harm anyone else,” said Joyce Jackson, another of Dean’s sisters, “and I thank God for that

Kids TV Show Arthur is Ending at PBS After 25 Seasons!

It’s the end of an era for kids’ television: The perennial PBS favorite Arthur will end with its upcoming 25th season, set to debut next year, an executive producer confirms.

“In the winter of 2022, the 25th and final season of Arthur will debut,” EP Carol Greenwald tells IGN via email. “Arthur will continue to be available on PBS KIDS for years to come. Producer GBH and PBS KIDS are continuing to work together on additional Arthur content, sharing the lessons of Arthur and his friends in new ways.”

First airing back in 1996, Arthur centers on bespectacled aardvark Arthur Read (voiced by a number of young actors over the years) and his family and friends in the fictional town of Elwood City. The series tackled a number of important issues over the years and has won four Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Children’s Animated Program along with a Peabody Award. (In 2019, the show featured a gay wedding between Mr. Ratburn and Patrick that led to a boycott from an Alabama public TV station.) With more than 240 episodes having aired to date, Arthur is now the longest-running children’s animated series in the history of American TV.

Arthur isn’t the first long-running PBS kids’ show to announce it is ending this year: Back in January, the network revealed that Caillou was ending after a run of more than 20 years.

Dua Lipa Condemns DaBaby’s Homophobic Rant!

There could be no more “popstars, Dua Lipa with DaBaby,” very soon. The rapper’s recent homophobic rant at Rolling Loud has Lipa rethinking their lucrative collaboration on the “Levitating” remix - and fans dreaming up artists to replace him on the hit track.

Lipa, the songstress behind such smash hits as "Don't Start Now" and "New Rules," took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to address comments her former collaborator, DaBaby, made about the LGBTQ community at the Rolling Loud music festival Sunday night.

"I'm surprised and horrified at DaBaby's comments. I really don't recognize this as the person I worked with." she wrote. "I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I 100% stand with the the LGBTQ community. We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS."

Lipa's statement arrives amid considerable backlash against DaBaby, nee Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, for the shocking remarks he made during his Rolling Loud set at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

"If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that'll make you die in two, three weeks, then put your cellphone light up." Kirk said, adding, "Ladies, if your p--- smell like water, put a cellphone light up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d--- in the parking lot, put your cellphone light up. Keep it real."

The rapper later attempted (keyword: "attempted") to explain his statements in a nearly five minute Instagram Stories video Monday.

"I’m gonna address this weak-ass internet s--- one time, and then I’mma get back to giving my love to my fans, ’cause what me and my fans do at the live show, it don’t concern you n--- on the internet or you bitter b--- on the internet," he began.

“I said, ‘If you don’t got AIDS, put a cellphone lighter up,'” DaBaby told his 19.1 million followers. “I said, ‘If you ain’t suck d--- in the parking lot, put your cellphone lights up.'”

“All the lights went up – gay or straight – you wanna know why?” he continued. “Because even my gay fans don’t got f---ing AIDS, stupid ass n---. They don’t got AIDS. My gay fans, they take care of themselves. They ain’t no nasty gay n---, see what I’m saying? They ain’t no junkies on the street.”

He said his crowds put their phones in the air because, “my gay fans, they ain’t going for that. They got class, n---. They ain’t sucking no d--- in no parking lot, n---. You gotta get a room, a good one, five-star hotel, or wait ’til they go to the crib. … If they a fan of me, they going for some big dog s---. We ain’t just going for nothing. Even my gay fans got standards!”

Lipa's fans are not buying any of this.

Prior to the pop star's statements Tuesday, multiple Twitter campaigns had already begun to recruit another artist to replace DaBaby's verse on "Levitating," one of the most popular songs of the past year. Although an alternate remix of the infectious, disco-inspired track already exists with Madonna and Missy Elliot (in addition to Lipa's solo album version), fans are proposing that she team up with the likes of Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Nas X.

Nathaniel Rowland gets life for killing University of SC student Samantha Josephson who mistook his car for Uber!

A South Carolina man was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday for abducting and killing a college student who mistakenly entered his car thinking it was her Uber.

The sentencing of Nathaniel Rowland, 27, came the same day jurors found him guilty of the March 2019 murder of Samantha Josephson, a 21-year-old University of South Carolina senior.

Josephson, a New Jersey native, hopped into Rowland’s car after a night out in Columbia’s Five Points entertainment district, assuming he would take her back to her apartment, prosecutors said.

But she was later found dead about 65 miles away with 120 stab wounds.

“Her dreams were my dreams, and her death was my death. I close my eyes, and I feel what she endured at his hands,” the victim’s mother, Marci Josephson, said at Tuesday’s sentencing.

During the week-long trial, experts called by the prosecution linked Josephson’s blood to the inside of Rowland’s car and to the knife allegedly used in the murder.

The victim’s blood was also found on Rowland’s bandana and a sock, experts testified, as well as on cleaning supplies in the garbage behind his ex-girlfriend’s house.

The judge who sentenced Rowland said Tuesday: “She obviously put up an amazing fight against you and left a sufficient trail for the jury to see what you did.”

Rowland maintained his innocence before being sentenced. His attorneys pointed out that scientists weren’t absolutely certain Rowland’s DNA was on the knife.

They also noted that none of Rowland’s DNA was found on her body — and he didn’t have any visible signs of being in a fight, despite the victim appearing to have put up a struggle.

Capitol Police Officers Testifies on Capitol Hill Abusing Black Officers & Hurling N-Word!

The uncensored broadcast followed hearings before the House Select Committee, where Officer Dunn described what he experienced during that day, and what fellow black officers had to deal with.

“More and more insurrectionists were pouring into the area by the Speaker’s Lobby near the rotunda. And some wearing MAGA hats and shirts that said Trump 2020. I told them to just leave the Capitol, and in response they yelled “No man, this is our house. President Trump invited us here. We are here to stop the steal. Joe Biden is not the president. Nobody voted for Joe Biden!”

“I’m a law enforcement officer, and I do my best to keep politics out of my job, but in this circumstance I responded “Well I voted for Joe Biden. Does my vote not count? Am I nobody?”

“That prompted a torrent of racial epithets. One woman in a pink MAGA shirt yelled “You hear that guys? This n***er voted for Joe Biden!”

“Then the crowd, perhaps around 20 people, joined in the screaming “Boo! Fucking n***er!” No one had ever ever called me a n***er while wearing the uniform of capital police officer.”

Dunn also shared what other officers told him about that horrific day,

“In the days following the attempted insurrection, other Black officers shared with me their own stories of racial abuse on January 6th. One officer told me he had never in his entire 40 years of life been called a n***er to his face. And that streak ended on January 6th,” he continued.

“Yet another Black officer later told me he had been confronted by insurrectionists in the Capitol who told him “Put your gun down and we’ll show you what kind of n***er you really are.”

Per reports, Officer Harry Dunn has suffered PTSD and other issues stemming from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot

‘Tamron Hall Show’ to replace ‘Windy City Live’ on ABC-7!

Tamron Hall’s syndicated daytime talk show is on the move. Launched in 2019, “Tamron Hall” can currently be found on WCIU-Channel 26. As of the first week in September, the show will begin airing weekdays on WLS-Channel 7 at 1 p.m., replacing the recently canceled “Windy City Live.”

Hall is a familiar face to Chicago TV audiences, logging 10 years at Fox 32 where she was first a reporter than an anchor from 1997 to 2007, before jumping to MSNBC and the “Today” show at NBC, where she was the first Black woman to host the weekday show.

Sensing her talents weren’t appreciated, she walked away from NBC and two years later launched her own talk show (produced by Walt Disney Television). Last year she won a daytime Emmy (her show was nominated this year as well) working with showrunner and executive producer Candi Carter, who is an alumnus of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

“My love for Chicago is deep and real,” Hall said in a statement announcing her show’s move to WLS. “It’s a second home for me and as we know there is no place like Sweet Home Chicago. Moving to the iconic ABC 7 is like winning life’s lottery.”

Starting Monday, Sept. 6, “Tamron Hall” will replace a longtime WLS staple, “Windy City Live,” which ends its 10-year run Sept. 3.

Hosted by Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini, the show was created to fill the programming slot previously occupied by Oprah Winfrey’s Chicago-based talk show. Media columnist Robert Feder reported on “WCL’s” cancellation last week, publishing an email to the station’s staff from WLS general manager John Idler, who noted:

“As we continue to navigate through our industry’s challenging times, we have had to make a tough business decision to sunset the daily airing of Windy City LIVE (WCL). Multiple factors were considered, but ultimately this was the best decision for ABC 7. The last M-F show will air Friday, September 3.”

Warner and Chiaverini are staying on with Channel 7 and will host a weekly show about upcoming events called “Windy City Weekends.”

Vanessa Williams is ‘legendary’ as she shows off toned abs in bikini!

Vanessa Williams has the internet in a frenzy. On Tuesday, the 58-year-old actress, singer and former Miss America shared a stunning photo showing off her toned abs in a white bikini as she served face on the beach.

"Are we doing bikini shots in our early 50s? Ok," she captioned the post.

Celebrity friends and fans were in awe of Williams's seemingly ageless photo.

"YAAAAASSSSSSS!!" Jay Manuel wrote.

"OH OKAY THEN," Micheal Urie, her former Ugly Betty co-star, added.

"YES MAAAAAAAMMMMMM," Janet Mock said.

"How can you be so gorgeous!!! Like I don’t understand you are the most gorgeous person ever," a fan wondered.

"Legendary!!" Someone continued.

Williams has been open over the years about how she maintains her amazing physique. In a 2014 interview with ABC News, she advised people eat "as clean as you possible can when you have a goal to attain."

"If I wanted to drop a few pounds for any kind of event or red carpet, you cut out alcohol, you cut out sugar, you cut out carbs," she continued. "Juicing, hot water and lemon — those are all great cleansers to keep you hydrated now a days it's so easy to get organic products. whether they are seaweed snacks or anything."

When it comes to working out she admitted that she likes to try something new as often as possible to keep her body moving. And when it comes to aging, Williams has not shied away from questions around getting older. Speaking with MadameNoire in 2018, she wanted people to know that they should not be afraid of aging.

"With every challenge in life there is a fear because you haven’t done it before," she explained. "Don’t be afraid to take the leap, whatever it is. And no matter what age you are, there’s always gonna be something you haven’t done. Whether you are 5 or 50, you have to be open to what’s being offered and brave enough to accept it.”

New Court Document Say Britney Spears' Dad Has Been 'Paying Himself $16,000 Per Month' For The Past 12 Years!

Britney Spears' lawyer filed a petition on Monday to remove Jamie Spears as a conservator.

In the new documents, attorney Matthew Rosengart alleges Jamie Spears has lived off of the estate.

Rosengart claimed that Jamie Spears has paid himself $16,000 per month, for the last 12 years.

Britney Spears' new lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, made a direct petition to remove Jamie Spears, her father, from her conservatorship on Monday.

The documents filed by Rosengart alleged that Jamie Spears has been paying himself $16,000 a month since 2009 through Britney's estate.

Monday's filings marked the first time Britney Spears' legal team has formally moved to remove Jamie Spears from the conservatorship. The documents included statements of support from Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, and co-conservator Jodi Montgomery to remove Jamie Spears as a conservator.

"Mr. Spears has profited handsomely from his daughter's conservatorship. By way of illustration only, since at least 2009, Mr. Spears has been paying himself $16,000 per month from Ms. Spears's Estate, $2,000 more than he has allotted to Ms. Spears," Rosengart wrote in the filings reviewed by Insider.

"Mr. Spears also pays himself an additional $2,000 per month for office expenses - again, from Ms. Spears's Estate," Rosengart added.

Insider reached out to Jamie Spears' litigation counsel Holland & Knight for comment. In a June court hearing, after Britney Spears spoke, Vivian Lee Thoreen, an attorney for Jamie said he "is sorry to see his daughter in so much pain. [He] loves his daughter and misses her very much."

The documents also allege that after Jamie Spears removed "temporary" from his title as a conservator, he started to profit.

Rosengart also said Jamie Spears has "paid multiple teams of expensive attorneys to represent him and the conservatorship, including in actions routinely against Ms. Spears's express wishes."

"In addition to that monthly compensation, Mr. Spears has paid himself a share of the revenues generated by Ms. Spears's performances. He reportedly received 1.5% of the gross revenues generated by Ms. Spears's performances and merchandise sales associated with her highly successful multi-year Las Vegas residency," Rosengart wrote in the filings.

The petition said Britney Spears' gross revenue from Vegas was about $137.7 million, plus merchandise sales.

"Mr. Spears cut from that residency is estimated to be at least $2.1 million. He also received a 2.95% commission on Ms. Spears's gross revenues on her 2011 'Femme Fatale' tour, which yielded him an estimated $500,000. Although it is common for managers, agents, and other industry professionals to receive a percentage of an artists' earnings, Mr. Spears is none of those," Rosengart wrote.

"He is a conservator and, as a conservator, his role is to be burdened by, rather than benefit from, the conservatorship," Rosengart said.

Paris Hilton Denies She’s Pregnant!

So not fast, Paris Hilton has denied rumors she’s pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancΓ© Carter Reum.

via: Page Six: The “Simple Life” alum, 40, shot down rumors she is expecting a baby with her fiancΓ©, Carter Reum, on Tuesday’s episode of her “This is Paris” podcast.

“Not yet. I am waiting ’til after the wedding,” she said.

Hilton then quipped, “The only thing in the oven at the moment is my ‘Sliving Lasagna,’” plugging her upcoming Netflix show, “Cooking With Paris,” while using a word she famously coined to combine “slaying” and “living.”

Her sister, Nicky Hilton, also called the pregnancy speculation “not true” on Tuesday.

Paris did, however, reveal on her podcast that she is in the process of having her wedding dress made and wants to make sure it fits for her 2022 nuptials.

The socialite announced in January that she was undergoing IVF treatments. While it appears she has put her reproductive plans on hold for now, she’s more than excited to one day start a family.

Earlier this summer, she told The Post, “I am so excited for this next phase of my life just seeing Nicky and her girls I can’t wait to be a mom and start a family and have a real life. I feel like my whole life I just focused on my career and work and not really my personal life. So I think I feel like it’s time for me to focus on what’s next, and I can’t wait to have babies one day.”

“He’s just my dream guy. … [Carter is] 100 percent [the one],” Paris gushed on the “Trend Reporter” podcast. “We talk about [planning a wedding] all the time and planning our baby’s names and all of that.”

Reum, 40, proposed to the DJ on a private island in February after dating for a year.

“I am excited about this next chapter and having such a supportive partner,” she later told Vogue. “Our relationship is one of equals. We make each other better people. He was absolutely worth the wait!”

Shooting at California Theater During ‘Forever Purge’ Screening Leaves One Dead, One Injured!

An 18-year-old woman was killed and a 19-year-old man was badly injured during a shooting at a screening of “The Forever Purge” in Corona on Monday night.

Police have yet to identify a suspect in the case or make any arrests. Police were called around 11:45 p.m. on Monday, after the screening at the Regal Edwards Corona Crossings.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Corona Police Department. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The names of the victims have not been released, pending notification of relatives.

“The Forever Purge” is the fifth installment in the “Purge” franchise, which is premised on the idea of an annual ritual when murder and mayhem become temporarily legal.

It was not clear whether a third person shot both victims or if the shooting was an attempted murder-suicide, said Cpl. Tobias Kouroubacalis. He said he believed the victims were discovered by a theater employee who came in after the screening ended. No gun was found at the scene, according to the Press-Enterprise newspaper.

Six tickets were sold for the screening, Kouroubacalis said, and detectives were trying to track down the other moviegoers. The screening was scheduled to begin at 9:35 p.m., and the film has a 1 hour, 44 minute runtime.

In a statement, Regal Cinemas said it was working with local investigators.

“We have received confirmation of an incident at our Corona Crossings theatre last night,” the company said. “We are currently working with the local authorities regarding the investigation. Our primary concern is for the safety and security of our guests and staff.”

Atlanta Shooting Suspect Robert Aaron Long Sentenced To Life In Prison!

Robert Aaron Long, the man behind the shooting sprees at various Atlanta spas, took a plea deal and has learned the punishment for his actions. As multiple news outlets reported, the shooting suspect pleaded guilty to killing four people in the fatal gunfire. In exchange for his guilty plea, the death penalty prosecutors initially sought was reduced to four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole and an additional 35 years.

On the afternoon of March 16, Long made his way to the Youngs Asian Massage parlor in Cherokee County where he fatally shot Xiaojie “Emily” Tan, Daoyou Feng, Delaina Yaun and Paul Michels.

Prosecutors to seek death penalty against Atlanta shooting suspect

He then drove to Atlanta, continuing his attacks of three women at Gold Spa and another woman at Aromatherapy Spa. Suncha Kim, Soon Chung Park, Hyun Jung Grant and Yong Ae Yue — who were all women of Asian descent — died in the mass shootings.

Upon his arrest, Long denied allegations that his acts were racially motivated and admitted that he fired his gun as the massage parlors were places that triggered his sex addiction. He doubled down on those statements as he pled guilty to malice murder, felony murder, attempt to commit murder and aggravated assault, noting he wanted to punish the people who fed his addiction.
