#RHOA: Kenya Moore Called Andy Cohen “Super Shady” at the Reunion!

Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 13 Reunion aired on May 9, and there was plenty of shade thrown between the ladies. At one point, Porsha Williams said, referring to Marlo Hampton: "She ruffles my feathers — and I don't even have none on." But the barbs weren't strictly between the Georgia peaches. Host Andy Cohen got also got called out for his shade at a particular point in the sequin-flecked sit-down.

After hashing out the season, Andy offered the ladies a surprise wrap treat that gave a playful nod to a moment from their trip to South Carolina. In case you missed the February 14 episode: During the getaway that Kenya Moore hosted, she ordered some takeout crab cakes for herself ... and none of the other ladies.

"Well, Kandi, since I'm such a gracious host and I really felt bad for you in South Carolina, I wanted to make sure everyone leaves here with a crab cake," Andy said, as the whole group busted out into peals of laughter. As Drew Sidora's husband Ralph delivered plates of the seafood to each lady, Kenya said through laughter: "You are super shady, Andy!" And then, she gamely took a bite of her shady delicacy.

#MusicNews: Tank Reveals That He’s Going Deaf!

Tank is making a shocking revelation. In a video, which he uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, the 45-year-old R&B singer announced that he’s going deaf in one ear and suffering hearing loss in the other

“I’m going completely deaf in my right ear and I’m kinda losing sound in my left,” he told his 1.8 million followers.

He’s been experiencing dizziness and can’t walk a straight line. “All of this out of nowhere, don’t know how or why,” added Tank, who’s been seeing a doctor and taking medication.

Despite the scary prognosis, he remains optimistic. “It still hasn’t given me a reason to give up. It still hasn’t given me a reason to stop feeling like I can do and be everything that I’ve set out to be. The goals are still the same, to be great, to be the greatest.”

He plans to keep fighting and will be documenting his journey with the hope of inspiring others. “No matter what you’re going through, no matter where you find yourself, whether your body’s failing you, whether your mind is failing you, whether your spirit is failing you, keep going, keep pushing,” he urged.

He received messages of support from friends and family including his wife Zena Foster. “I love you babe and don’t worry I can talk louder,” she commented.

In December, Jessie J revealed that she was suffering from a similar situation called MΓ©niΓ¨re’s disease that left her “completely deaf in my right ear” and unable to “walk in a straight line.”

“@jessiej i diagnosed him with what you had around going on around christmas time,” wrote Zena.

Earlier this year, Tank released his single “Can’t Let It Show.” His new album is scheduled for a summer release.

#HipHopNews: Why is Meek Mill And Rick Ross Are Beefing?

Meek Mill and Rick Ross might be currently at odds, according to some of their fans on social media. Not long after one particular hip-hop commentator shared some blind gossip on May 11, Twitter users started speculating that the rumor may involve none other than Meek and Ross.

The two rappers have been working closely since 2011, when Meek signed with Ross' label Maybach Music Group (MMG). Ever since then, Meek and Ross toured together and collaborated on songs like "Ima Boss," "So Sophisticated," "Believe It," and "What's Free," featuring Jay-Z.

Then, Meek was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating his parole in 2017, according to NBC News. But Jay-Z (among other celebrities) helped the rapper get an early release in 2018, after serving five months in prison (via CNN). The next year, Meek then signed a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation to launch his own label, Dream Chasers (via NME). However, Meek was still expected to release music via Ross' MMG, so fans never suspected the two were beefing... until DJ Akademiks made some wild statements.

Taking to his Twitch channel on May 11, DJ Akademiks shared a blind story about one rapper having beef with a fellow musician he's signed to, because the former is "trying to get off the label." "The artist that's signed to the other artist, they were having a party," Akademiks told viewers. "The artist they're signed to allegedly tried to enter the party and go about certain places, and I heard there was a big issue."

"The n***a who they're signed to showed up to their party, they were not happy. And when that person showed up, there was issues," he continued. Although Akademiks never named any names, fans didn't take long to come up with their own theories. And since Meek's birthday was on May 6, fans connected the dots pretty quickly. "Word on the streets say it's Ross and Meek...," one person tweeted. "wasn't Ross just at Meek's bday party this past weekend?" another fan wrote.

Others think that Meek has been trying to leave MMG for a while now. "Of course it's rumors for now but Ak was like Meek been trying to get out his MMG contract for months but Ross won't let em," one fan speculated. Meanwhile, one Twitter user claims "Meek hasn't seemed like a MMG artist since 2014" after working more with Jay-Z.

So far, neither Meek or Ross have commented on their rumored beef.

Stacey Abrams’ Novel ‘While Justice Sleeps’ Set For TV Adaptation From Working Title

Working Title Television has nabbed rights to Stacey Abrams’ new novel While Justice Sleeps. The NBCUniversal-backed producer won the rights in a competitive battle and will adapt it as a television series.

The legal thriller, which is being published today by Penguin Random House, follows a Supreme Court justice whose descent into a coma plunges the court, and the country, into turmoil.

It follows Avery Keene, a brilliant young law clerk for the legendary Justice Howard Wynn, who is doing her best to hold her life together; excelling in an arduous job with the court while also dealing with a troubled family. When the shocking news breaks that Wynn – the cantankerous swing vote on many current high-profile cases – has slipped into a coma, Avery’s life turns upside down. She is immediately notified that Wynn has left instructions for her to serve as his legal guardian and power of attorney.

Plunged into an explosive role she never anticipated, Avery finds that Wynn had been secretly researching one of the most controversial cases before the court—a proposed merger between an American biotech company and an Indian genetics firm, which promises to unleash breathtaking results in the medical field. She also discovers that Wynn suspected a dangerously related conspiracy that infiltrates the highest power corridors of Washington.

This is the first novel published under Abrams’ real name. She has previously written eight romance novels under the pen name Selena Montgomery.

Abrams is widely credited with helping Joe Biden win the presidential election by boosting turnout in Georgia and playing a key role in giving Democrats control over the Senate.

Abrams will exec produce the TV series with Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. Katy Rozelle, Working Title Television’s Head of TV for the U.S., is overseeing development and also serves as executive producer.

“I created While Justice Sleeps to unravel a political mystery about power and secrets through the eyes of a protagonist dealing with her own demons. I am excited about the book’s release today, and I look forward to working with Working Title Television and Universal Studio Group to bring the intriguing world of Avery Keene to television,” Abrams said.

“After weathering the competitive storm to secure Stacey’s novel, we are elated to have come out on top,” added Bevan, co-chairman of Working Title Television. “This is one of those rare moments when the opportunity feels right, and we look forward to developing this thrilling project with the multihyphenate Abrams.”

“As the media landscape continues to flourish with infinite content, we are excited to embark on this journey with Stacey, who has played an instrumental role in the American narrative and now, television industry,” Universal Studio Group chairman Pearlena Igbokwe said. “We look forward to bringing a level of authenticity, cultural representation and universal storytelling to this project, which we believe audiences will enjoy.”

Abrams is represented by UTA, which brokered the deal, and The Loewenthal Company.

Ellen DeGeneres Says Toxicity Allegations Seemed 'Orchestrated' & Felt 'Misogynistic'!

Ellen DeGeneres is doubling down on why she is leaving her talk show at the end of season 19.

There are rumors that Ellen is leaving because of the rumors that her workplace is toxic.

“If it was why I was quitting, I would have not come back this year,” Ellen said on a Thursday morning (May 13) interview on the Today show.. “I really did think about not coming back because it did…it was devastating. I am a kind person. I am a person who likes to make people happy. I just kept saying to [wife] Portia [de Rossi], ‘If I was a fan of somebody and even if I loved them, I would think there must be some truth to it, because it’s not stopping.’ Right on the heels of that, I read in the press that there’s a toxic work environment, which I had no idea, never saw anything that would even point to that.”

About the allegations, Ellen said, “I really didn’t understand it. I still don’t understand it. It was too orchestrated. It was too coordinated. People get picked on, but for four months straight, for me, and then for me to read in the press about a toxic work environment, when all I’ve ever heard from every guest that comes on the show is what a happy atmosphere this is and what a happy place this is.”

“I don’t know how I could have known when there’s 255 employees here and there are a lot of different buildings, unless I literally stay here until the last person goes home at night,” she added. “It is my name on the show, so clearly it affects me and I have to be the one to stand up and say, ‘This can’t be tolerated.’ But I do wish somebody would have come to me and said, ‘Hey, something’s going on that you should know about.’”

“How can I be an example of strength and perseverance and power if I give up and run away?” she added. “And so, it really is one of the reasons I came back. I worked really hard on myself. And also, I have to say if nobody else is saying it, it was really interesting because I’m a woman, and it did feel very misogynistic.”

Jackson Brothers thank Justin Timberlake for Janet Jackson apology!

Janet Jackson’s brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie thanked Justin Timberlake for finally apologizing to their sister, Janet Jackson, for their 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.

The trio discussed the mea culpa on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” on Wednesday and said they appreciated his long-awaited words.

“You know, it takes a man to step up and do that, so we do thank him for doing that,” Marlon said.

“But we’d like to move forward because that was out there, the negativity about it,” Marlon, 64, continued. “But, as they say in the old days, as long as they’re talking about you, good or bad, you’re still in the public’s eye.”

“We thank you, Justin, for what you did,” Marlon added.

Jackie, 70, added that it was nice that the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” crooner apologized publicly “because it kind of hurt Janet in the past. So for him to step up and say that, it means a whole lot.”

Timberlake, 40, issued a lengthy apology to both Britney Spears and the “If” songstress after the release of the documentary “Framing Britney Spears,” which shined a light on his mistreatment of Spears following their 2002 breakup.

“I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right,” Timberlake wrote. “I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism,” he wrote after fans slammed him.

“I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed,” he continued. “I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of and grow from.”

Janet has yet to publicly respond to Timberlake’s apology, in which he said everyone “deserves better.”

The “Rhythm Nation” singer has yet to publicly address Timberlake’s apology.

Janet fans have long accused Timberlake of throwing the singer under the bus after their infamous halftime show performance, where he exposed her breast on stage. Jackson’s career took a major hit, with CBS’ Les Moonves reportedly blackballing her from the industry as Timberlake’s burgeoning solo career soared.

In 2006, he told MTV: “If you consider it 50-50, then I probably got 10 percent of the blame. I think America is harsher on women. I think America is unfairly harsh on ethnic people.”

That same year, Jackson, now 54, told Oprah she believes Timberlake did leave her hanging.

“All the emphasis was put on me, not on Justin. We were friends … And I’m very loyal and friendship is very important to me, and certain things you just don’t do to friends,” she said.

Come April Timberlake and Janet’s Super Bowl saga will get the “Framing Britney Spears” documentary treatment.

A source said, “It’s going to be all about the fallout and the suits who f–ked over Janet [at] Viacom,” the company that owned MTV — which produced the halftime show — and CBS, which broadcast the game.

“They’re reaching out to everyone who was involved: dancers, stylists, directors. Everyone,” said the source.

'Bridgerton' Producer Shonda Rhimes Reveals Whether Rege-Jean Page Will Cameo in Season 2!

It was announced in April that Bridgerton star RegΓ©-Jean Page will not return for Season 2 of the Netflix show, and it appears fans shouldn't get their hopes up for any potential cameos from the Duke of Hastings. Producer Shonda Rhimes and Head of Global TV at Netflix, Bela Bajaria, recently participated in a Hollywood Reporter roundtable where they explained that since the show is based on Julia Quinn's novels, each of which focuses on a different Bridgerton sibling, it wouldn't make sense for Page to appear in future seasons.

"Those books [the Bridgerton book series that inspired the show] really dictated what we did, and we want talent to have an amazing experience and tell the story they're telling authentically, not, 'Oh, can you just come over here and do this little thing?'" Bajaria said, via Entertainment Tonight. "Like, is that satisfying? Is that what actors want to do? He delivered on his story."

Season 1 focused on Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and her relationship with the Duke of Hastings and Season 2 will follow Daphne's older brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), as he "intends to dominate the social season," according to Rhimes.

"I was just excited about the idea of being able to tell a complete romantic tale that has an end, where you're not finding 14 other reasons why the couple can't be together or frankly having RegΓ© stand in the background of somebody else's romance," she said. "That doesn't make sense." The producer added that she didn't anticipate the fan response after Page's exit was announced.

"I was like, 'I've killed many a man that people adore,'" she mused. "I'm so surprised that everybody is [losing it over a character we've watched] for eight episodes leaving. But obviously RegΓ© is an amazing actor and he did an amazing thing and people responded. I also was surprised because the nature of this series is simply, this year it's this couple, this year it's [that] couple."

Page's character does remain a presence throughout Quinn's novels and was reportedly invited to return for a Season 2 cameo, but ultimately turned it down, The Hollywood Reporter shared. Sources say Page was offered an opportunity to return as a guest star in three to five episodes of Season 2 at a rate of $50,000 an episode but declined for "a multitude of reasons," likely including his burgeoning film career.

The actor had previously told Variety that he was drawn to the role of Simon because it was a "one-season arc" with a "beginning, middle, end" that allowed him to "contribute my bit and then the Bridgerton family rolls on."

Chrissy Teigen Apologizes For Past Cyberbullying: ‘I Am Ashamed’!

In a lengthy Twitter thread, Chrissy Teigen apologized Wednesday for being a cyberbully.

The apology stems from recent accusations made by Courtney Stodden, 26, that Teigen, 35, previously told them to kill themself.

“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullsh*t in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be,” she began the thread. “I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

Teigen admitted that Stodden was not her only victim. She says she privately reached out to Stodden but also wanted to apologize publicly.

Earlier this week, Stodden opened up about Teigen’s hurtful words in a Daily Beast interview. Stodden, who identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns, was just 16-year-old when the model told her to take “a dirt nap.” They also said Teigen sent them DMs telling them to kill themself and saying things like, “I can’t wait for you to die.”

At the time, Stodden rose to notoriety for being the young bride of 51-year-old Doug Hutchison. They told Daily Beast they experienced a lot of cyberbullying at that time.

Dr. Dre Shows Off ‘Covid Body’!

Dr. Dre is revealing his COVID body. A week after Will Smith said he was in the “worst shape of my life,” Dre is flaunting his quarantine body for the ‘Gram. The 56-year-old rap mogul snapped a selfie, lifting his shirt to reveal his chiseled abs. But while he’s in great shape, he’s only getting started.

“This is my COVID body. I’m about to start getting my shit together,” Dre wrote in his caption.

The newly-single producer, who was hospitalized for a brain aneurysm in January, plans to hit the gym with Smith. “Going in with @willsmith. Let’s Go!!!!” he added.

Is Tiffany Haddish The Frontrunner to Take Over Ellen DeGeneres’ Daytime TV Slot?

Tiffany Haddish has recently emerged as the frontrunner to replace Ellen DeGeneres on daytime television.

A senior NBCUniversal source told Page Six, “Tiffany is a favorite, she has humor and empathy in spades.” They said, “She’s top of the list to get a daytime show – she’s a fresh voice.”

If Haddish does take up the mantle, it appears that she will do so in a unique way.

Page Six wrote in their report: “As we revealed in February, DeGeneres owns the rights to her show, which is syndicated and produced by Warner Bros so it’s impossible to replace her without launching a fresh format with a new host.”

After allegations of a hostile working climate led to the firing of executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman, as well as co-executive producer Jonathan Norman, Haddish was a guest host on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October. Former and current workers accused the three men of sexual assault and abuse, as well as inciting bigotry, terror, and intimidation.

When DeGeneres returned to her show in September, she discussed the accusations for the first time. On the same show, Haddish appeared and expressed her support for Ellen. Last month, the comedian and actress filled in as a guest host for the third time.

Haddish recently has been practicing her hosting skills on the CBS show, Kids Say The Darndest Things.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, DeGeneres announced that her syndicated daytime talk show’s 19th season would be her last. “When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore,” she said.

During Wednesday’s episode, DeGeneres told the audience that she let her intuition guide her when it came to deciding when it was time to leave.

“You may wonder why I’ve decided to end after 19 seasons. The truth is, I always trust my instincts,” she explained. “My instinct told me it’s time. As a comedian, I’ve always understood the importance of…timing. In all seriousness, I truly have felt like next season was the right time to end this amazing chapter.”

Ellen said she told her coworkers about her decision on Tuesday. According to a January article from Page Six, executives at Telepictures, the production company behind Ellen, were aware that DeGeneres, who had one year remaining on her contract, decided to quit, but they preferred if she was replaced so they could keep her current time slot.

Dunkin' employee charged with manslaughter after punching customer!

A Florida man is facing a manslaughter charge after punching a 77-year-old man who allegedly called him a racial slur. The man died two days later.

Corey Pujols, 27, is charged with aggravated manslaughter of an elderly or disabled adult with a weapon after police say he punched a man while working at a Dunkin’ in Tampa, WFLA-TV reported.

Police told WFLA that the victim was in the drive-thru when he became upset due to the lack of service on May 5. The victim was asked to leave but instead parked his car, went inside the doughnut shop and an argument ensued between the man and Pujols, police said.

Pujols, who is Black, told police that the victim was a regular customer but was "extremely rude" that day, according to the Tampa Bay Times. He said the man called him a racial slur and that he asked him to repeat it.

After the man repeated it, Pujols told police he punched the man once, and it caused him to fall. The man was taken to a hospital after police and fire crews found him unconscious and bleeding from the head.

'Nothing comes from silence': Student speaks out after educator says slur

Pujols was arrested on a charge of battery on a person older than 65 and released the next day after posting $2,000 bail, jail records show.

His freedom was short-lived because the man died two days later, and the charge was upgraded to aggravated manslaughter of a person older than 65.

An autopsy revealed the man had a skull fracture and brain injuries as a result of blunt trauma to the head, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

“We are deeply saddened by the incident at our franchised restaurant in Tampa, Florida," ” Dunkin' said in a statement to USA TODAY. "The franchisee, who independently owns and operates this restaurant, is fully cooperating with the local authorities. As this is an ongoing investigation, we defer any additional questions to the police."

Jail records show Pujols was rearrested May 7 and is being held without bail.

Cameroon Jails Two Transgender Women For 'Attempted Homosexuality'!

A court in Cameroon sentenced two transgender women on Tuesday to five years in prison for "attempted homosexuality" and other offenses after they were arrested for the clothes they wore in a restaurant, their lawyers said.

A local social media celebrity known as Shakiro, who also is identified as Loic Njeukam, and Patricia, also identified as Roland Mouthe, were arrested on February 8. Human rights activists say their detention is part of the growing criminalization of sexual minorities and transgender people in Cameroon.

The two received the maximum sentence of five years in prison and fines of 200,000 CFA francs ($370), their lawyers told Reuters. Besides "attempted homosexuality," they were convicted of public indecency and failing to carry identification.

"This is a political decision," said one of the lawyers, Alice Nkom, who vowed to appeal the verdict. "It's Yaounde (the central government) that said these people must not bring homosexuality to Cameroon."

A government spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Cameroon is one of more than 30 African countries where same-sex relations are illegal. Its courts have previously sentenced people to multiyear prison sentences for their alleged homosexuality.

Human Rights Watch said last month that Shakiro and Patricia's arrests seemed to be part of "an overall uptick in police action" against sexual minorities.

Fifty-three people have been arrested in raids on HIV and AIDS organizations since May 2020, with some reporting having been beaten and subjected to forced "anal examinations" to confirm accusations of homosexuality, the rights group said.
