Dua Lipa Covers Rolling Stone Magazine!

She was the undisputed pop queen of 2020 with her hugely popular dance album Future Nostalgia, which has been nominated forAlbum of the Year at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Now, Dua Lipa is cementing her status in the music industry as pop’s new power source with a coveted appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, looking sensational in a revealing mesh outfit.

Dua, 25, who recently sparked pregnancy rumors by posting a slew of baby emojis, displays her incredible physique in the high-octane glamour portraits, shot by the legendary David LaChapelle.

The accompanying interview – in which she does not talk about her boyfriend Anwar Hadid – charts her light-speed journey to success, from working at a restaurant in London to becoming the most listened to female artist on Spotify.

The English singer-songwriter also talks about getting slammed for attending Lizzo’s Grammys party last year at the Crazy Girls strip club in Los Angeles.

“I just feel like, if youre a feminist, you have to also support women in all fields of work, she tells the publication. “We have to support sex workers, we have to believe that that [work] is their choice and their right.”

“It seems quite hypocritical, I think, people picking and choosing as to how they want to support women and when it suits them. Thats another form of misogyny, which really derives from the male gaze.”

#RHOA: NeNe Leakes Is Giving You Teas of Behind-The-Scenes Drama Leading To Her RHOA Exit And “Who The Real Devil Was” In Reality TV!

In its latest episode, NeNe Leakes joined Tamar Braxton for her Under Construction podcast where the two former reality TV divas talked about the pitfalls and perks of the genre. Amidst the conversation, where they talked about finding stardom on TV, being pushed to their limits, and what their regrets were, NeNe opened up about it taking her “years to figure out who the real devil was” when it came to corporate greed’s involvement in the way reality TV shows go down.

Tamar asked NeNe what she thought the least talked about side effect of being on reality TV was. In her response, NeNe said that when she first stepped onto the scene, she was doing more than entertaining drama on TV.

“The other side of all the perks… I don’t know. I know that when I came out, I did everything. I did scripted television, I did Broadway, I was on the cover of Ebony magazine, the ‘Power cover,’ I was the first celebrity in 30 years to have a residency out in Vegas on Zumanity, appearances, I did appearances everywhere,” she said. “Every single talk show it was possible to do. I co-hosted everywhere for everybody. I just did everything. The flip side of that is, it’s going to come to an end. Either it’s going to come to an end or you level off.”

“The other thing is, you could still be going just as hard as you were when you first came out but that corporate devil is sitting right there,” she said. “It’s a corporate devil that people don’t know is controlling a lot of your career. I did a lot of competition shows. I did Celebrity Apprentice, I did Cupcake Wars. I did a competition show where Gregg and I were cooking for these MasterChef people. Corporate devil is a beast. That’s all I got to tell you. Like you think you’re going on these shows and you’re going to be like ‘I can win.’ Actually, before you even get on the show they already know who the winner is. That’s the corporate devil. It’s a lot that happens behind the scenes that people just don’t know about.”

Later, the two discussed things further when Tamar wondered where the line is between “reality TV” and “reality” itself. NeNe interjected.

“Because reality TV is better than reality. Cause you know, reality TV is a little twisted. That makes more money,” she said. “That is the truth, it makes more money. You know, but it took you years to figure that out didn’t it? Listen, it took me years to figure out why all these girls were coming after me every season [we would’ve squashed something in the background], why some of my friendships were falling apart. It took me years.”

“I was blaming a lot of people and it took me years to figure out who the real devil was,” she added. “When I figured it out though it really crushed me. It really hurt my heart really bad. I was really, really hurt over it. And I was like ‘wow.’ It felt to me like American greed or something. Greedy, just greedy. They will never stop. That’s what happens. It’s sad. It’s a lot and it’s a lot to deal with. So much.”

Both NeNe and Tamar have had their fair share of reality TV woes off-screen within the past year. Following her suicide attempt in July 2020, Tamar seemingly accused WEtv, the network behind Braxton Family Values, of pushing her to be self-destructive due to poor treatment.

Becoming more vocal about her own struggle with the producers of the reality TV hit, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, in June, NeNe seemingly co-signed the idea Andy Cohen should be fired for perpetuating systematic racism. After shedding some tears over the treatment she received and lack of transparency from Bravo execs on the Tamron Hall Show in October, by the end of the year, NeNe was calling on fans to boycott Bravo in solidarity with her and her fight against the network.

NeNe and Tamar’s closeness isn’t anything new. In the past, when things were at their worst with Tamar, Nene came out in support of her friend to share an update and to ask for prayers only days later. The connection between the two definitely comes across as genuine, and their conversation during this podcast really shed a light on how similar their experiences battling the network executives of reality TV has been. Even though it doesn’t seem like either one of them is rushing back to the genre soon, if we’re lucky, maybe one day we’ll get to see the two link up on-screen.

Mariah Carey On How Pandemic Has 'Helped' Her Voice, Aretha Franklin & More!

Being the superstar she is, Mariah Carey has experienced a lot over the course of her incredible career, and from those experiences come many stories. Mariah recently shared many of these stories in her recent memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, but this week, she shared some more as the most recent guest on Questlove's Questlove Supreme podcast.

During the episode, Carey talked about many different subjects, and recalled a number memories, like singing with Aretha Franklin, but she also talked about this past year, and how the pandemic and "being off" from singing has actually helped her voice, and whether or not she has the itch to get back into the studio to work on more new music.

Mariah explained, "Honestly, for me this whole year with COVID and everything, not having to sing for my supper and travel around and not get the right amount of sleep or just be put on this thing where there's a certain amount of stress, for me, that takes away a lot of stuff. So, I'm just like emotionally, like that's where I need to be centered or whatever. But it's being off, kind of taking off work has really helped my voice. I think in a lot of ways, just being able to have like stress-free. And everyone's like, 'Oh, you've got to get back in a studio. Like you gotta like get back to singing. And I'm like, 'I know.'"

When asked if she feels like getting back into making music, after releasing her last album Caution in 2018, and she said, "Yes. But honestly, in a different approach. And I don't even want to go into what it is, because when I did Caution, I love some of the songs from Caution, but I don't think I was at the place, vocally, where I could be now. Also it was rushed. Not that it was rushed, and I'm looking at my best, most critically acclaimed album, I think that's because the critics have changed and shifted since back in the days. But, what I was gonna say is that I didn't have the time I would normally take. And I really wish I did have that time to do a few more records on that album to just [to] fully have that expression."

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Mariah talked about how things like air conditioning can affect how you sing, and confirmed that Aretha Franklin did not like the air conditioning to be on when she was singing, while remembering the first time she performed with the late icon during Carey's first Divas Live. She explained of Franklin, "[She was] such a brilliant musician, and her skills as a piano player were insane, and people don't even realize that. So anyway, that's one of the things that I revere her the most about, that musicality she had. And I wish people, and I know it's a female thing and I know it was because her technical, her vocals and her whole thing was so incredible, and the whole diva persona that they didn't even look at it, like look at this woman, the musicianship."

Dr. Dre’s Estranged Wife Says He Held Gun to Her Head, According to Court Docs!

Dr. Dre's estranged wife Nicole Young has alleged that the music mogul held a gun to her head on at least two separate occasions in the past.

As Entertainment Tonight Online reports, court documents show that Young has made some very serious allegations about Dre engaging in violent behavior directed at her. She claimed that he held a gun to her head once in 2000 and again in 2001, and she also said he punched her face twice on two separate occasions. Additionally, she described one instance in which he allegedly kicked down the door to a room when she had been "hiding from his rage in 2016."

She has also accused him of verbal and emotional abuse, which she said "decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome." Young added, "His long-term abuse must be a factor that the court takes into account in warding support and fees." She said she never reported his violent behavior to authorities because she was scared of Dre, whom she married in 1996.

Previously Dre stated that he had not abused or threatened Young's physical safety, but she has since said he is lying. "I have also offered extensive and painful testimony about Andre's relentless campaign of abuse and control over me for more than half of my life," she continued. "It is misleading, revolting and insulting for Andre to suggest that I have not been abused because, as a victim of relentless abuse and isolation, I did not create and maintain a contemporaneous record of abuse inflicted on me." She is asking for Dre to pay for all her expenses, as he had during their marriage.

The news comes a week after Dre agreed to pay $2 million to Nicole Young for temporary spousal support. Dr. Dre is still reportedly in intensive care after he suffered a brain aneurysm last week, with hospitals continuing to run tests on him due to concerns he could suffer another aneurysm in the future. Despite his condition, his family has allegedly been informed that a "bad outcome" is unlikely

Joe Biden Inauguration TV Special: Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi & More!

President-elect Joe Biden has rounded up some of Hollywood's biggest for his upcoming Inauguration night TV special, which is set to air on Wednesday (January 20).

Earlier today, it was announced that the upcoming special will be headlined by Justin Timberlake, with hosting duties from Tom Hanks. Alongside JT, Demi Lovato, Jon Bon Jovi and Ant Clemons are scheduled to perform during the primetime TV special in lieu of the traditional in-person celebration. The 90-minute broadcast will feature pre-taped appearances from additional stars and air on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC at 8:30 PM ET. Unsurprisingly, FOX will not air the virtual ball.

Over on JT's Instagram, the pop vet spoke about a song that he wrote with Clemons called "Better Days" that he'll presumable perform. While he mentioned that the final vocals were recorded on election night, he also took time to reflect on 2020. "This past year brought a lot of frustration, grief, anger — and there were times when it was easy to feel powerless. This song was our way of doing what little we could to encourage everyone to stay hopeful... and keep working towards a better, more equal future," he wrote, adding, "I'm very honored to announce we will be performing this song on January 20th for the Presidential Inauguration. We have a long way to go to fix, undo, and rebuild this country... but I hope now, despite the past four years, we are on our way."

Politico broke the news first, detailing that the event is being dubbed "Celebrating America," and will pay tribute to American heroes. "We have witnessed countless heroes this past year step up to the frontlines and serve their fellow Americans, so we are telling their stories, spreading their collective light, and celebrating the best of our country and its people with this prime-time program," Tony Allen, the CEO of Biden's presidential inaugural committee, said in a statement.

Video Surfaces of Kyrie Irving Maskless at Crowded Birthday Party After Missing Multiple Games for ‘Personal Reasons,’ and Fans Aren’t Happy!

Some NBA fans are not happy with star Kyrie Irving. But the Brooklyn Nets point guard doesn’t seem to be letting them dictate his return to the court.

After not playing in his past three scheduled games, Irving is also listed as out in his team’s Jan. 12 matchup with the Denver Nuggets. The reason the team gave for Irving’s absence thus far is “personal reasons.”

Now video footage has surfaced that appears to show Irving at a large birthday gathering without a mask, causing some to question just what “personal” business Irving is dealing with that prevents him from suiting up.

They said as much under Irving’s recent Instagram post celebrating his father’s birthday.

“Happy Journey around the Sun King! Thank you for the example you set for me. Kings raise Kings,” Irving captioned under a photo of himself and his father laughing on Monday, Jan 11. He received mixed reactions from his over 14 million followers.

Some joined Irving in wishing his father, Drederick Irving, a happy birthday, while others told him to keep that same energy when it was time to play.

“Bro come back kyrie,” one Instagram user said. “Kyrie Irving using his PTO and treating the NBAlike a 9 to 5″ and “pull up 2 your next game,” added two others on Twitter and Instagram respectively. “Skipped games for a birthday party? That’s not King s–t,” another wrote.

Some of Irving’s fans came to his defense.

“Y’all saying this on his post about his pops is disrespectful. HBD to his pops,” one user responded. “Whatever reason you’re not play is yours. Continue to live your life and make decisions you believe is best. Living publicly isn’t for cowards. Salute King!” Twitter user @drsidlifecoach wrote.

Still others felt Irving had no justifiable reason to not play.

“if he doesnt want to play then he shouldnt have signed a contract. If you dont wanna go to work anymore you get cut big homie. As an adult you should be held accountable. You’re saying it’s ok to s–t on contracts and people that you agreed to be a teammate with just cuz he already has money. And I’m telling you that you can be as rich as you want it still doesnt give you an excuse to not fulfill the contract you agreed to if you are healthy enough to do so,” Instagram user @pcecchi1 wrote. “There should be a level of respect between him, his coaches and his teammates. I dont know why I have to explain this to you.”

While rumors have circulated about the actual reason Irving is still out, Nets coach Steve Nash told USA Today Irving was on “personal leave.” “Ky’s still on personal leave and all the communication with Ky, between the organization, I’m going to keep private and I’m sure you’ll hear from him at some point,” Nash said.

His teammate and fellow superstar Kevin Durant said they were in full support of Irving and wished him well. “I won’t speak on Kyrie. I’ll let him do that for himself. I’m sure you guys will see him soon whenever he comes back. We support him 100 percent and pray for the best,” Durant said.

According to Bleacher Report, the NBA is expected to review the video in question and some have speculated whether or not the video is real. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski said sources expect Irving to be absent from at least two more upcoming games.

“As the NBA is expected to begin examining online videos circulating of a maskless Kyrie Irving at a family birthday party, there’s no belief that he will return to the Brooklyn Nets lineup this week,” Wojnaroski tweeted.

Olympic Swimming Medalist Charged For Engaging in the Riot at The US Capitol!

On Wednesday, five-time Olympic swimming medalist Klete Keller was charged for engaging in the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol; video emerged after what appeared to show him last week among those storming the Capitol.

An FBI complaint, citing video screenshots, demanded that a warrant be released accusing Keller of intentionally accessing a restricted building without legal authority and seeking to hinder an official government function.

During a joint session of Congress on Jan. 6, thousands of Donald Trump supporters invaded the Capitol as lawmakers gathered to formalize President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.

The 38-year-old Keller competed in the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Summer Olympics. As a member of the 4×200-meter freestyle relay, he won two golds and a silver and a pair of individual bronzes in the 400.
