Indya Moore Only Looks Gorgeous for Vogue Spain!

‘Pose’ breakout star Indya Moore covers the November issues of both Vogue Spain and Vogue India. The trans, non-binary Moore is styled by Ian Bradley in ‘Ni Un Paso AtrΓ‘s’ (Not One Step Back) for Vogue Spain. Photographer Thomas Whiteside (IG) captures the stunning Moore, who covers the magazine for the second time.

"In November Vogue, stories of commitment to oneself and to one's own identity and character proliferate", Eugenia de la Torriente advances in her editor-in-chief letter to readers.  "The characters that star in these pages defend a complex way of escaping from molds and conventions. They are not heroic and flat figures."

“The only thing I refuse is to be an example of nothing to anyone,” says Moore in Vogue Spain. “The culture of fame that has been built in the last few decades means that we have the famous as throwaway products instead of people, statues that are not allowed to crack. Having a celebrity role model is highly dangerous because your mistake has a butterfly effect of unknown magnitude. My intention is to represent my community as well as possible, yes, but I refuse that my failures do not determine whether or not I am an acceptable example. Although that means not ascending so fast.”

#RHOA: Awwwww, Loook at Blaze Tucker’s First Halloween Costume!

In case you missed it, Blaze Tucker just celebrated her first Halloween — and the photos are too cute not to share with the entire world. Kandi Burruss' baby girl turns 1 in November, and even The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member can't believe how quickly the time is flying by.

Kandi shared photos of Blaze all dressed up in her kangaroo costume, as well as photos of herself as a leopard and 4-year-old math wiz Ace as a ninja (aka "Me & my babies!"), and reflected on the passage of time, writing, "Can y’all believe this cutie is 11 months old already?!"

Blaze's first Halloween comes just weeks after Kandi confirmed that her daughter is already walking and hasn't even turned 1 yet. "She did it! [Blaze] took her first couple of steps! She hasn’t even crawled but she decided to walk first. I’m so glad I didn’t miss this moment. I’m smiling from ear to ear right now!" Kandi wrote several weeks back.

Also, in case you were wondering, Blaze shared her thoughts on her mom's choice of Halloween costume. She posted on Instagram: "My mom had the bright idea to make me wear this kangaroo outfit... I guess I’ll be nice a play along."

Blaze turns 1 next month, and Kandi recently opened up about what the experience was like of expecting her child via surrogate. She said in an episode of Parents magazine's We Are Family podcast, via PEOPLE, that while it was a "tough decision," all this time later, "now that it's all said and done, I wouldn't change a thing. It was the best decision that we could have made."

#NewMusic from Jermaine Dupri, Ne-Yo, Johnta Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox & More Release New Song “Change”!

In an all-star collaboration for good, Jermaine Dupri, Ne-Yo, Johnta Austin and Bryan-Michael Cox team up with their superstar friends for the new song “Change”. The song urges what the title states: change. All proceeds from the single are set to benefit the Social Change Fund, which is a charitable organization to support issues facing the Black community.

Dupri states about the creation of the song:

“We created the song to call attention to these long-standing issues. Members of the global community are now awakened to issues affecting BIPOC. The global pandemic forced us all to reevaluate everything from our health to police brutality and systemic racism. We are now witnessing a paradigm shift that creates an opportunity for real impactful change. ‘CHANGE’ only resonates the need for topics that should have always been prioritized.”

The song was written by Dupri, Ne-Yo, Cox and Austin, and also features the likes of Common, Kirk Franklin, Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris, PJ Morton, Gary Clark Jr., Anthony Hamilton, Jac Ross, and more.

Johnta Austin adds: “Sparking a call for positive progress the mission for ‘CHANGE’ for me is to inspire and uplift. LA Dodgers Win World Series In Game 6, Defeating Tampa Bay 3-1

Los Angeles Dodgers celebrate after defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 to win the 2020 World Series in Game 6!

The Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2020 World Series in Game 6 Tuesday night, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1.

It was the longest of waits for the LA Dodgers and their long-suffering fans. The last World Series title was back in 1988. That's 32 long years. Yet they have played in three of the last four World Series — including in 2017, losing to the Houston Astros (who, as you may recall, cheated--or more accurately--illegally used technology to steal signs and relay upcoming pitches to Astros batters).

But it took this most unusual of years for the Dodgers to find a way to win it all. Major League Baseball shortened its regular season from the usual 162-games to just 60 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Games were played in teams' home stadiums without fans. A few early-season COVID outbreaks threatened to derail the season altogether.

The Dodgers to become the top team in baseball, finishing with the best regular season persevered record. LA led with its offensive prowess, quality pitching and stellar defense. Both Los Angeles and Tampa Bay sparkled during the World Series with momentum swings, long home runs and impressive defensive stops. But LA always found a way to win.

In a bit of postseason scheduling luck, the Dodgers essentially had home field advantage. They played the National Division Series, the N.L. Championship and the World Series in the same stadium: Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Major League Baseball played almost the entire playoffs at neutral sites to minimize travel and reduce the coronavirus exposure risk. It was the first time since 1944 that the World Series was held at a single site.

NXIVM Guru Gets 120 Years In Prison In Sex-Slaves Case!

Disgraced self-improvement guru Keith Raniere, whose NXIVM followers included millionaires and Hollywood actors, was sentenced to 120 years on Tuesday for turning some adherents into sex slaves branded with his initials and sexually abusing a 15-year-old.

U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis called Raniere “ruthless and unyielding” in crimes that were “particularly egregious” because he targeted girls and young women in the sex-trafficking conspiracy that resulted in Raniere’s conviction last year.

He handed down the unusually stiff sentence in Brooklyn federal court after hearing 15 victims call for a long prison term to reflect the nightmares and anguish they’ll confront the rest of their lives.

As he announced the sentence, Garaufis noted that Raniere labeled some of the victims’ claims lies. The judge told a woman who Raniere ordered to be kept in a room for two years when she was 18: “What happened to you is not your fault.” He said that went for the other victims too.

Raniere, who looked at victims as they spoke in the courtroom, maintained his defiant tone, although he said he was “truly sorry” that his organization led to a place where “there is so much anger and so much pain.”

“I do believe I am innocent of the charges. ... It is true I am not remorseful of the crimes I do not believe I committed at all,” Raniere said.

Prosecutors had sought life in prison, while a defense lawyer told the judge Raniere should face 20 years behind bars.

The sentencing was the culmination of several years of revelations about Raniere’s program, NXIVM, which charged thousands of dollars for invitation-only self-improvement courses at its headquarters near Albany, New York, along with branches in Mexico and Canada. Adherents endured humiliation and pledged obedience to Raniere as part of his teachings.

NXIVM has been the subject of two TV documentary series this year, HBO’s “The Vow,” and the Starz series “Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult.”

Prosecutors said Raniere, 60, led what amounted to a criminal enterprise, inducing shame and guilt to influence and control co-conspirators who helped recruit and groom sexual partners for him. Raniere was convicted on charges including racketeering, alien smuggling, sex trafficking, extortion and obstruction of justice.

After victims spoke for 2 1/2 hours, the judge grew impatient and a bit angry when defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo sought to portray his client’s organization as “doing good” for women before things turned bad for some.

“I’ve heard enough about Mr. Raniere’s theories,” Garaufis snapped.

The judge said Raniere groomed a 13-year-old girl so that “two years later he’s having sex with a 15-year-old girl.”

At another point, he cut Agnifilo off as the lawyer tried to argue victims were not always factually correct.

“You’re starting to tire me out here,” the judge said. “It’s pretty clear he took advantage of people sexually.”

Earlier, India Oxenberg, the daughter of “Dynasty” actor Catherine Oxenberg, called Raniere an “entitled little princess” and a sexual predator and lamented that she “may have to spend the rest of my life with Keith Raneire’s initials seared into me.”

Another victim said she had the initials removed from her body by a plastic surgeon.

Other victims labeled him a liar, a parasite, a terrorist, a sociopath, a racist, a sadist and “a toddler with too much power and zero accountability.”

And the woman who was sexually abused beginning at age 15 said Raniere groomed her by telling her she was mature for her age.

“It is false. I was a child,” she said.

She said that when Raniere saw blood running down her arm after a botched suicide attempt, he revealed his self-obsessed attitude, asking her: “Do you know how bad that could have been for me if you killed yourself?”

The likelihood of leniency had seemed to dissipate with the recent sentencing of Clare Bronfman, 41, an heir to the Seagram’s liquor fortune, for her role in NXIVM, which has been described by some ex-members as a cult. Bronfman was sentenced to nearly seven years in prison. Prosecutors had only sought five years.

Ex-followers told the judge that Bronfman for years had used her wealth to try to silence NXIVM defectors.

Reniere’s followers called him “Vanguard.” To honor him, the group formed a secret sorority comprised of female “slaves” who were branded with his initials and ordered to have sex with him, the prosecutors said. Women were also pressured into giving up embarrassing information about themselves that could be used against them if they left the group.

Along with Bronfman, Raniere’s teachings won him the devotion of Hollywood actors, including Allison Mack of TV’s “Smallville.” Mack also has pleaded guilty to charges in the case and is awaiting sentencing.

Chrissy Teigen Writes About Pregnancy Loss And Public Grief!

Model Chrissy Teigen penned an article on Tuesday detailing the loss of her third child with husband John Legend, her first in-depth public statement since announcing the news weeks ago.

Teigen and her husband announced the loss of their son, Jack, with a series of photos posted to Instagram and Twitter on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 that described “the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.” The model and television personality, who already has two children with Legend, posted about her struggles with her latest pregnancy early on, describing an issue with a weak placenta and abnormal bleeding in social media updates while on bed rest.

In a Medium post on Tuesday, Teigen explained that her doctors had diagnosed her with a partial placental abruption.

“I had always had placenta problems,” Teigen wrote. “I had to deliver Miles a month early because his stomach wasn’t getting enough food from my placenta. But this was my first abruption.”

After one particularly bad night amid weeks of bed rest and at home visits with her doctor, Teigen said it was time to go to the hospital. She described heavier and heavier bleeding until eventually getting bags of blood transfusions — that ultimately failed to help support the fluid around Jack.

“After a couple nights at the hospital, my doctor told me exactly what I knew was coming — it was time to say goodbye,” Teigen said. “He just wouldn’t survive this, and if it went on any longer, I might not either.”

Teigen delivered Jack at 20 weeks with her husband and mother alongside her. Each of them spent time holding Jack after his delivery, saying their prayers and private goodbyes, Teigen said.

She also described her decision to take photos of the process, a choice that was met with both support and some criticism. The 34-year-old said she “needed to know of this moment forever” and she knew she needed to share her story.

Teigen’s posts moved thousands across the internet, many of whom shared their own personal stories about infertility and pregnancy loss. However, some felt it was inappropriate.

“I cannot express how little I care that you hate the photos. How little I care that it’s something you wouldn’t have done,” Teigen wrote. “I lived it, I chose to do it, and more than anything, these photos aren’t for anyone but the people who have lived this or are curious enough to wonder what something like this is like. These photos are only for the people who need them.”

Teigen also expressed her thanks for the quiet support she’s received from strangers in recent weeks — a checkout lady adding flowers to her cart or strangers approaching her with notes. And while she encouraged others to share their own stories of loss, Teigen also said that she regrets her pregnancy was so public.

“I was excited to share our news with the world. Stories leading up to this had been chronicled for all. It’s hard to look at them now,” Teigen said. “I was so positive it would be okay. I feel bad that I made you all feel bad. I always will.”

About 1 pregnancy in 100 pregnancies that reach 20 weeks or later are affected by stillbirth, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And about 10 to 20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, or spontaneous pregnancy loss, before 20 weeks, according to the Mayo Clinic.

“I beg you to please share your stories and to please be kind to those pouring their hearts out,” Teigen wrote Tuesday. “Be kind in general, as some won’t pour them out at all.”

Chadwick Boseman’s Brother Kevin Reveals He’s In Remission After His Own Battle With Cancer!

Late actor Chadwick Boseman lost his private 4-year battle with colon cancer on August 28th, at the age of 43.

As previously reported, Chadwick Boseman’s brothers, Kevin and Pastor Derrick Boseman, have spoken on the life and legacy of their brother, saying that they want to have memories of who he was as a person and not just his career. Kevin Boseman said:

“I have been trying to remember Chad and not Chadwick. And there’s just been a lot of Chadwick in the air.”

He added: “You have to start sharing that person with the world; I always endeavored to just treat him like my brother.”

The “Black Panther” actor’s brothers’ statements came just weeks before Kevin Boseman revealed that he fought a personal battle with cancer as well.  In a series of posts on his Instagram story, Kevin Boseman celebrated that he has been cancer-free since 2018.

He started off his message with:

“I’m in remission!!!!!! You read right. I am in remission.”

Adding that he was diagnosed in 2018, and went through 4 rounds of chemotherapy.

Just like Chadwick Boseman, Kevin says that he didn’t share the news with many people.

Kevin Boseman states that the reason he decided to reveal the news is because the loss of Chadwick Boseman was a tragedy, but being in remission something to smile about.

“I wanted to share because while it’s been a year of profound loss and tragedy for so many of us. This is good news. Something to smile about. Something to shout about.” I hope you’re smiling and shouting with me.

Kevin Boseman then says that tomorrow is not promised, and urges his followers to get everything checked out if something feels off, adding that early detection saves lives.

We are sending our love to the Boseman family

Gwen Stefani Announces Engagement To Blake Shelton!

Gwen Stefani is now engaged to her boyfriend of five years, country singer Blake Shelton.

The couple have been dating since 2015 after meeting while judging on The Voice US.

Both Stefani, 51, and Shelton, 44, posted identical photos to Instagram as they shared a kiss while the No Doubt singer held up her hand to show off her ring to the camera.

She wrote: "@blakeshelton yes please! πŸ’πŸ™πŸ» gx."

Meanwhile, Shelton penned: "Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!"

They got together on the set of The Voice following the breakdown of their respective marriages.

Stefani was married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2016 and the pair share three sons, Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, six.

Shelton has been married twice before. He wed Kaynette Gern in 2003 before splitting three years later in 2006 and went on to wed singer Miranda Lambert in 2011, divorcing in 2015.

Rossdale recently expressed his shame over the breakdown of his marriage to Stefani.

When asked by The Guardian what his most embarrassing moment was, he replied: "The gross and lopsided spectre of the crumbling of my marriage."

Their marriage was rocked back in 2004 when it emerged Rossdale was in fact the father of model Daisy Lowe.

Rossdale, who had been named as her godfather, was found to be the biological parent of the then-15 year old following a DNA test.

Kim Kardashian Facing Twitter Backlash For Tone-Deaf Birthday Posts!

Kim Kardashian is facing backlash after flying her inner circle to a private island for her 40th birthday amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The KKW Beauty founder posted several pics with family and friends including Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, KhloΓ© Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, La La Anthony, Scott Disick, and Tristan Thompson, as they celebrated her birthday without a mask in sight. Her husband, Kanye West, was also there despite being absent from her photos.

“After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time,” she shared on social media on Tuesday. “We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40”

Despite recognizing her privilege and noting the health precautions that were taken to avoid the spread of COVID-19, Twitter users sounded off at Kardashian for her tone-deaf post.

“I haven’t seen ma family in 4 months because I work a public-facing job and I’m absolutely terrified of the possibility of passing Covid on to my vulnerable parents. I hope you had fun pretending things were normal, but spare a thought for those of us staying in the real world,” one person tweeted to Kardashian.

“nobody in this family could read a room if their life depended on it,” a netizen added.

“lmao reading this as half of my office got laid off today,” wrote another.

“everyone mad at this tweet is just jealous that they didn’t think to fly their jets to their own private islands. it’s so obvious yet kim is the only one who thought to do it. that’s why she’s a visionary and y’all are stuck at work πŸ’…,” another joked.

B.B. King’s Estate Denies Wendell Pierce Is Approved For Film, Still Considering Kenan Thompson!

Last week, actor Wendell Pierce — probably best known for his role on The Wire — announced that he would be portraying B.B. King in a film about the late blues legend’s life. But the B.B. King estate recently told TMZ that they’re “furious” that Wendell said he was performing in what was then described as a biopic and that he has not been approved by the estate. Other actors are still being considered for an authorized B.B. King role, apparently, including Saturday Night Live cast member Kenan Thompson.

Pierce has been attached to star in the project since at least 2009, according to what producer and co-writer Michael Zanetis told TMZ. This is not the first time Zanetis’ project has run into legal problems with King and his estate. In 2012, Zanetis sued B.B. King while he was still alive after receiving a cease-and-desist letter from King’s representatives over the film, which was then titled B.B. King And I. But both Pierce and Zanetis say they received King’s blessing for the film before he died in 2015.

The film, which is now called The Thrill Is On, reportedly focuses on the friendship between King and Zanetis, who had a three-decade-long friendship with King and was behind his push to get a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Earlier this week, Pierce took to Twitter to clarify the film’s scope at the request of the B.B. King estate: “It is a dramatized version of a real-life friendship story in the spirit of the film ROUND MIDNIGHT. The friendship of 2 musicians, one being the King of the Blues. As I stated before, and nothing has changed: I promised BB King before he died, I will honor him and his creative genius. An American Icon.”

Bette Midler Confirms Hocus Pocus 2 Is Happening!

The 80s and 90s babies are finally getting their witchy wish: back in March it was reported that Hairspray director Adam Shankman was on board to direct Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney+.  Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy all are expected to return as the witches for the sequel.

For those who have never seen the 1993 film, the nostalgic fave stars a trio of witches who were executed in 17th century Salem who return to achieve immortal life.

Midler confirmed to Fox 5’s Good Day New York, that she, Parker, and Najimy will return to play Winifred, Sarah, and Mary. She said, “They want to make a movie, they’ve asked us if we were interested and of course all of us said yes.” She added, “I’m game, I’m totally game.”

The stars previously reunited for the upcoming one-night-only virtual event In Search of the Sanderson Sisters, which will go to benefit the New York Restoration Project.

The question still remains if Hocus Pocus can retain its nostalgic value almost thirty years later. The film has become a known favorite during spooky season.

For Disney, the stakes are relatively low since it’s a nice piece of content for Disney+, but a new Hocus Pocus movie isn’t exactly going to break the bank. It will be interesting to see how quickly Disney can get rolling on the sequel.

Walter Wallace Jr.’s Mom Said She Tried To Defuse Situation Ahead Of Fatal Shooting!

The mother of Walter Wallace Jr. said Tuesday that she pleaded with police officers before they shot and killed her son.

"I was telling police to stop. Don't shoot my son, please don't shoot my son," Catherine Wallace said Tuesday night.

Wallace Jr., 27, a Black man who police say was armed with a knife, was killed Monday after police fired more than a dozen shots on the 6100 block of Locust Street in West Philadelphia around 3:50 p.m.

"They paid me no mind, and shot my son," she said.

Wallace Jr.'s parents said their son suffered from mental health issues and that police had been called to the home earlier in the day before it turned deadly.

The father of Walter Wallace Jr. said no parent should ever experience what his family has gone through. "I will need help," he said.

"I can't even sleep at night, every time I close my eyes I got flashbacks of multiple shots," said Walter Wallace Sr.

Many are left wondering if this shooting could have been avoided.

The Philadelphia Police Department will increase its presence across the city Tuesday in anticipation of further displays of civil unrest in response to the shooting death of Walter Wallace.

"How do you feel to make the 911 call to get help for your son and the end result is murder," said Wallace Jr.'s cousin, Anthony Fitzhugh.

"You could have pulled out a taser. You could have shot him in the leg," said resident Jada Hilton.

Authorities say the officers did not have tasers. They said not all Philadelphia officers carry them.

Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said Tuesday she has already asked in the past that additional funding be added to the budget for tasers.

Video shows officers yelling 'put the knife down' before fatal shooting of Walter Wallace on October 26, 2020.

Wallace Jr.'s death sparked both protests and looting for a second night on Tuesday.

"Burning down people's businesses, looting, stealing -- that's not the answer. That's not the solution," said Fitzhugh.

Neighbors, business owners frustrated after night of unrest in West Philadelphia

Outlaw has promised a full and comprehensive investigation.

The department is completing a threat assessment on whether to release the names of the officers involved. Outlaw said the names would be released as long as that does not put the officers' safety at risk.
