Supermodel Naomi Campbell Graces The Cover Of Vogue!
Naomi Campbell, 50, sat down with Afua Hirsch from Vogue and talked about her Jamaican roots, racism, reparations, and her new docuseries.
While in quarantine, Campbell found comfort in things that she learned from her grandmother during her childhood.
“Grandma was six feet tall, from a farming community in Jamaica,” Campbell said. “I don’t know those families where they put a man at the head. Grandma was the head of our family,” Campbell told Vogue.
“A lot of the things Grandma taught me as a child came into play in lockdown,” Campbell says of the months she spent alone in New York. “I was quite happy to be on my own. I know how to cook. I know how to clean. It’s actually good to get to really know every nook and cranny of your home. I mean, I have to be really honest,” she proclaimed.
During the interview, the trailblazing supermodel spoke about her experience with racism.
“I never used to say the word racism; I just used to say, it’s territorialism,” she said. “I never wanted people to say that I used that as an excuse, that I was throwing that word out.”

For Campbell, things remain the same.
“But for me, nothing’s changed. I’m going to speak the same way.”
“I think as a generation, as a whole, can we get reparations for our culture, for what we’ve been through,” she said. “I absolutely believe we are going to get the positive outcome we deserve. But we have to do our work in making sure we get it. I think reparations are important for the people to really see that this is something that’s been taken seriously.”
The Supermodels is directed by Barbara Kopple and will debut on Apple TV+. The docuseries will capture Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, and Campbell musing about their legendary reign during the 1990s in fashion and culture.

“Linda, Christy, and Cindy, these are my sisters. The four of us tell it. I wasn’t going to do it any other way,” Campbell said.

#RHOA: What’s This Tea? Peter Thomas & Todd Tucker Allegedly was about to FIGHT?
Two Real Housewives of Atlanta husbands almost got into a brawl according to a new report by MTO News.
Peter Thomas, ex-husband of Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker, barely dodged a fist fight a few months back, inside an Atlanta nightclub. The altercation was seemingly traced back Peter’s  appearance on Michelle ATLien Brown’s podcast with Apollo Nida—RHOA alum, Phaedra Parks’ criminal ex-husband. Apollo dissed Todd and Kandi during the broadcast, and Peter evidently did not object to the negative remarks.

Apollo evidently remains upset over Todd allegedly turning him into feds after he reportedly hid belongings in his garage. The Bravo reality series touched on the controversy, years ago.

Todd reportedly ran into Peter a few days after the podcast, upset about Apollo’s comments and Peter’s supposed silent agreement. The pair almost came to blows, forcing security to step in and break up the scuffle.

#HipHopNews: Kendrick Lamar Explains Why It Takes So Long For Him To Drop Albums!
Kendrick Lamar isn't known to divulge much on his music making process, but he's given folks a sneak peek into why it takes so long for him to drop an album.
During a recent interview with i-D magazine, which was published today (Oct. 19), K-Dot chats with his cousin and 2020 XXL Freshman, Baby Keem, the Compton native explains that it takes a while for his LPs to be delivered because he strives to avoid being repetitive.

After revealing that his debut, Section.80, was not an overnight success and was actually years in the making before it actually arrived, Kendrick said, "I get it, that’s what will take me so long to do albums (laughs). I spend the whole year just thinking about how I’m gonna execute a new sound, I can’t do the same thing over and over. I need something to get me excited. I see you get frustrated sometimes because you want some new shit."

Elsewhere in the interview, Kung Fu Kenny and Keem also discussed Kendrick's media company pgLang, which he launched with his manager and former co-president of TDE, Dave Free, back in March.
"I’ve seen pgLang before it was even an idea that came to fruition," Baby Keem began when asked what he thinks pgLang represents. "It’s sticking to and believing in something, even when you don’t know how it will be created, and it starts out as just a small idea. I believed in it, and I stuck to it and now everything is paying off. So I’ve seen it from when there was no idea, to now. So to me, pgLang represents loyalty and trust."

Speaking of pgLang, a video was uploaded to the media powerhouse's YouTube page, which appears to either be a promotional video for the company itself or perhaps Baby Keem. The nearly 3-minute clip, which is titled "propaganda," features both Kendrick and the "Orange Soda" rhymer. The visual also has the same scene from the pgLang video that dropped back in March, which shows K-Dot levitating on a lamp post.

It's unclear what the video actually represents, but the interview with i-D and pgLang's latest visual comes about two weeks after both Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment president Terrence "Punch" Henderson addressed rumors that the former 2011 XXL Freshman has left TDE.
The rumors surrounding Kendrick's departure from his longtime label apparently stemmed from an Antixbound Instagram Live video earlier this month. However, the person behind the IG account later did another livestream denouncing any confirmation that Kendrick Lamar has left TDE.

K-Dot jokingly addressed the rumors the next day via an Instagram video featuring the dog from the Nickelodeon TV show Blue's Clues.

While appearing on "The Breakfast Club" on Oct. 19, the "Empire" star spoke about the split from her now-former fiancΓ©.

"I'm dedicated to the black man, y'all. I just turned 50 and I mean, I hadn't said it yet, but it didn't work out," she said. "I tried. I was, like, therapy. Let's do the therapy thing, but if you're both not on the same page with that then you feel like, you're taking it on yourself, and that's not a fair position for anybody to play in a relationship."

JLO Is Under Fire For Referring To Herself As A “Black Girl From The Bronx” In New Song!
Jennifer Lopez is being slammed for referring to herself as a “Black girl from the Bronx.”

In her new song with Colombian singer Maluma “Lonely,”  JLo sings the Spanish lyrics “Yo siempre sere tu Negrita del Bronx.”
In English the line translates to, “I’ll always be your Black girl from the Bronx”.
Critics took to Twitter to bash JLo, who is Puerto Rican with a light complexion.
“Morenita/negrita” are always towards women who are actually of dark complexion. J-Lo is white as fu*k. I don’t get why she would say that,” one person said on Twitter.
Some tried to defend Jenny from the block, saying that “negrita” was a term on endearment.

This scandal reminded some people about JLo’s 2001 song “I’m Real” with Ja Rule, where she said the N-word.

Robert Redford in 'Immeasurable' Grief Over Son James Redford's Death of Liver Cancer!
Robert Redford is dealing with a great loss. The acting vet is mourning the death of his son, filmmaker and activist James Redford (also known as Jamie), who passed away at age 58 over the weekend after battling liver cancer.

In a statement to PEOPLE, a rep for the 84-year-old actor, Cindi Berger, says that he "is mourning with his family during this difficult time and asks for privacy." She adds, "The grief is immeasurable with the loss of a child."
Cindi goes on paying tribute to James in the statement, "Jamie was a loving son, husband and father. His legacy lives on through his children, art, filmmaking and devoted passion to conservation and the environment."
James died on Friday, October 16 from bile-duct cancer in his liver. His wife Kyle Redford confirmed the sad news via Twitter last week, writing, "James died today. We're heartbroken. He lived a beautiful, impactful life & was loved by many."
Sharing pictures of her late husband, the grieving widow continued, "As his wife of 32 yrs, I'm most grateful for the two spectacular children we raised together. I don't know what we would've done w/o them over the past 2 yrs."

James Redford's death was confirmed by his wife Kyle.
Speaking to The Salt Lake Tribune on Monday, Kyle said her husband's liver disease returned two years ago and the cancer was discovered in his bile duct last November while he was awaiting a liver transplant.

James, who followed in the footsteps of his father as a filmmaker and philanthropist, knew that people expected him to be like his father. "I've grown up with a sense that there's always a preconception," he told The Tribune in 2003. "Over time, I've just learned to shrug it off. ... I just am who I am."
James is Robert's third child with his ex-wife Lila Van Wagenene. He struggled with health problems since his childhood, receiving two liver transplants in 1993 after being diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, a rare autoimmune disease affecting the liver.

He founded the James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness, a nonprofit created to educate the public about organ and tissue donation. Together with his father, he also co-founded The Redford Center in 2005, a nonprofit focusing on producing films and providing grants to filmmakers who direct films that touch on climate change and the environment.
In filmmaking, James' work was mostly focused on documentaries, usually about the environment and health, and where they intersected.

He is survived by his wife Kyle and their two children, Dylan and Lena.

Rush Limbaugh Has Terminal Lung Cancer!
The conservative radio show host, Rush Limbaugh, is battling stage 4 lung cancer. On his radio show, he gave an update on his condition.
“It’s not dramatic, but it is the wrong direction,”  Limbaugh told listeners to his conservative radio show.
Limbaugh was diagnosed with lung cancer in February.

“It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over,” Limbaugh said. “Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that we’re going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.”

Limbaugh says doesn’t give updates often because he doesn’t want to be a cancer patient on the radio.
Limbaugh, a Republican and avid Trump supporter, has hosted The Rush Limbaugh Show for more than 30 years.

‘X IT OUT’
You see it’s all good because they spelled it Fxck instead of Fuck. That’s the big difference people. Because there is an X instead of the U, people won’t be able to read that it says fuck. That’s a little design trick for all you wannabe badasses out there who want to throw the middle finger up to society, but only sorta.

HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL!!!
